Hi there, I'm Zoe! I am a 33 year old Executive Assistant working for the Government in the Brisbane CBD. I am looking to move into a house (or possibly a large unit or townhouse) within the leafy suburbs of Paddo, Ashgrove, Red Hill or surrounds. My preference would be living with one or two other ladies around my age who would enjoy a casual drink, dinner or a TV series marathon every now and then and are casual and easy going. I also need an undercover car park. My interests include going to the gym, yoga, live music, travelling, photography and bush walking. I am a big cat and dog lover, so living with animals would be fine. At this stage I am flexible around move in dates and happy to consider something in the New Year also. I am also interested in team ups - so feel free to send me a message and we can discuss more. I hope to hear from you soon.
Hi all I'm looking for a furnished room that is close to UQ. I will have my final semester next year. I hope the rent includes all the utilities and internet (also prefer to have own bathroom, but not necessarily). I am quiet, clean and friendly. Most of the time, I like to stay in my room and do studies but I also don't mind occasionally socializing with my housemates. I'm very well-experienced living in a shared house, so could be sure that I would not be a burden to you. Thanks for reading. Hope to hear from you! **sorry, due to free account, the messages sending to me may be delayed a few days until I receive** **No phone calls please. I am currently away for holiday.** Thank you
Hi, I`m Ali and have recently moved to Brisbane. I'm looking to move into a sharehouse with some cool housemates that will make the transition easier. I`ll be searching for a job ( I`m a chemical engineer.) in the first months and currently cannot be under a long contract. Thank you for reading this.
Heya, we are two best friends from NZ who moved over to Brisbane in July this year to work and study. We are very easy going and down to earth gals who are looking forward to meeting some new people! We love the outdoors, play and watch all kinds of sport, enjoy socialising and having a few drinks on the odd weekend, but also like our downtime and keeping to ourselves. Please get in touch if you're looking for a team up or think you have the rooms for us! Looking forward to hearing from you :D Cheers, Courtney & Nicole
My name is Matt. I am 26 and am in my final year studying my bachelor of music. I am looking to live closer to the city for uni and work purposes. I work in hospitality in bars and at the entertainment centre. I am clean, polite, sociable and reliable. Like going to gigs, meeting new people and also enjoy my quiet time watching TV and beach to relax. Non smoker. Thank you.
Hey guys, I have recently split with my partner and need to find a place ASAP! I work full time in the city so the closer to the CBD the better. I want to live with housemates who are social but who also like to have there own space. Furnished would be preferable but not necessary. I hope to hear from you soon! Josh
We're a friendly and outgoing couple but also like our times of solitude as well. Both of us will be studying at UQ (business and medicine) so we'll be at the library quite a lot over the semesters. We like to keep our surroundings tidy and are happy to hang out with our fellow housemates for movies nights, dinners etc. Based on feedback, the budgeted rental price is our combined maximum (not including bills). Also, we won't be ready to move until early to mid January as our home base is in Victoria, so we will be down south for the summer :)
International Student from Dubai starting at UQ in Semester 1, 2017 (Environmental Management). I'm super tidy and clean, and pretty decent at cooking too. Easy going, and always ready to help a friend. I am always respectful towards everyone and will give you your privacy. Doesn't mean I don't like to chill out and have fun. I don't mind living with anyone, so if you have a room to offer or are looking to team up, Hit me up! :) (That was two too many "up's")
Hello! I'm looking for a room to rent while I continue my study at Griffith Uni. I'm someone who enjoys having a chat in the kitchen, perhaps with a glass of wine so I want to move in with people I will get along with. I also enjoy my time alone so I am big on respecting each others spaces so don't worry about that :) I'm a tidy and relatively quiet person and I enjoy to bake occasionally. I do spend some time out of the house usually on weekends at my boyfriends place so I won't be home all the time. Mostly just looking for a household I can live comfortably in while I continue my university career :)
Looking for people to share a house with around UQ! We are tidy and friendly and keep the house clean as much as possible. We are both 23 years of age and we have a sassy cat names Olive. I am commencing my master of Environmental Management in Feb and Rory is commencing his master of Exercise physiology in second semester. We like to keep to our selves but also love a good movie night. We don't tend to go out very much as we will be very studious. We like to spend our spare time outdoors on adventures and at the beach. We both live a healthy life style, of no smoking, eating healthy and exercising. Let me know if you think you'd like to have us or team up for a new share house :)
My name is Anis and my girlfriend's name is Stephanie. We're both full-time university students with jobs on the side. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Information Technology and am working at a company specialising in facial recognition. Stephanie studies a Bachelor of Psychological Science and is currently working as a retail assistant at My Beauty Spot. Her ambition is to complete post grad and become a clinical psychologist. We're self-sufficient individuals who are committed to our professional lives, but also know how to loosen up and be social. Our ideal residency would include flatmates who are friendly and enjoy interacting, yet also respect other's space. We're clean, well-maintained people who are always looking forward to making new friends and create new experiences.
I'm currently studying a diploma of beauty therapy (bonus if I live with you because I'll practise everything on you). I'd prefer to have my own private bedroom. I like to hang out, watch movies and eat bad food. I also like to cook and clean.
We're two Canadian girls here on a WHV, we love touring the city on our off time and just looking for a place to stay in the mean time :) we're clean and tidy, will be working so not overly noisy in the evenings, easy going and friendly! Looking for a furnished room for the two of us!
We are a working-studying couple in mid 30-40. I'm a Graphic Designer working full-time in Milton (so anything within half an hour trip via public transport to Milton would do). My husband (44) is a student at TAFE and a handyman. I cook about 2-3 time a week, but without poisoning the air with unbearable spice smells though and never leave kitchen dirty after that. We hope to find a place with as considerate, quiet and tidy people as we are. We have no pets, but wouldn't mind if there are in the house (I especially adore cats). One more detail. I'm 155 cm tiny woman and my hubby is an average scale guy, and we don't have too much stuff with us. We are renting a standard spaced room (abt 10 m2) in a shared house now and totally fine with it.
Easy going professional, very clean, considerate and busy with work, exercise and life in general so keep to myself but always up for a laugh or a beer. Up early, go to bed early so would prefer somewhere relatively quiet (within reason) or share with similar people. Currently deciding whether to renew my current lease or move into another place but would like to decide asap. Cheers.
I am 36 year old male working for NAB. Very clean and tidy. Recently moved to Brisbane for a work project till June. Looking for accommodation closer to City. I am quite sociable, however not party type. Very mindful of your privacy and personal space. Like to be as close to the city as possible. If you like to team up feel free to message me.
Well, this isn't my first rodeo when it comes to house sharing, so I hope I make a good flat mate.... I'm quiet and respectful, clean and tidy, I love to have a good old chat and have a wine or two of an evening with dinner - but I won't be in your face 24/7 and I'd hope you're not in mine. My hobbies include TV watching (various things and definitely some trash TV), hanging out with friends on the weekends (brunnnnnnnch!), drinks on a Friday night and going to the beach most weekends - as an ex-Melbourne girl good beaches are still somewhat of a novelty for me. At the moment I work full time, and in the new year I will be leaving my current job and commencing part time work as I'll be continuing studying (Nursing), so between work and uni 2017 is going to be busy. I come with stuff too if we need it, like a washing machine, fridge, couch and kitchen items, but I'm also happy to find storage for these things if need be. I lovvvvvvvvvvvvve to cook and bake so if you like cookies I'm your girl! In a nutshell I'm looking for someone I can be friends with and live with I'd love to live with someone similar!
I am in the financial planning industry and work regular 8.30-5 Mon-Fri. I like to bake and drink socially on the weekends - Current beer pong champion amongst my friends. I am a big fan of pub trivia. I lived in share housing most of my adult life so I know how to clean up after myself and respect other peoples stuff, most importantly food/alcohol. Did a solo year by myself and passed inspection and bond clean doing it myself. I am pretty easy going and keen to live in a friendly environment
Currently working full time in the Brisbane city as a graduate accountant. Seeking to find a room/team up with someone to get an apartment near the city or I also don't mind living on the south side (Sunnybank/Garden city area). I am generally out of the house throughout the week, but if I am at home I would be playing PS4, cooking or chilling with friends. Other preferences: Car space, nearby gym Also I am flexible on move dates
I am happy go lucky person, very easy going personality, positive, great sense of humour, neat and tidy. I am looking for a fully furnished house and furnished room with bed and wardrobe. Hi, we are a lovely couple in our early thirties. I am a full time student doing a Master Degree in Peace and Conflict Studies at UQ, St. Lucia Campus. I'm Jack! currently living in Kenmore and looking for a place in or around the city to live for a minimum of 3 months. I'm self employed and usually out of the house for at least 5 hours a day. I like to stay pretty active, love getting out of the house on little adventures but at the same time love just chilling in the house watching a movie or playing some video games. I'm generally out and about all weekend. I'm a closet nerd and a massive fan of all sports. I cook all my own meals but happy to have a couple of shared dinners a week. I'm always down for a chat, movie, workout, or a trip down the pub! Looking to move in on the 10th of jan but happy to move in earlier. Cheers!
Prefer to share with only 1-other person and have own bathroom. I'm a minimalist who likes to live without clutter. I am quiet, respectful of others people's property and privacy. I'm not moving until January. I currently work fulltime at Mount Coot-tha and I've been living in Taringa for the past 3 years. I have my own communal appliances and furniture to bring with me if needed. I enjoy eating out, going out, having a drink after work, binge watching netflix and going for runs along the river. I'd need to move mid-January, ideally looking to stay around Toowong/Taringa (train line / bus line), $160-180 - but pretty flexible. Shoot me a message if you would be interested in starting a new place or if you need a spot filled and we can grab a coffee - Thanks!
Hi there! Looking to team up with someone or people to find a place with asap! Or a share house that is ok with having a cat! I work shift work for GOV and have a little white rag doll named Charlie who is adorable! Love music and a good chat! Pretty easy going and respectful of others! Hey guys! Thanks for taking time out to read my profile 😊 Ive just started as Bartender at Bavarian Beer cafe in the city & have just moved here. I'm usually pretty quiet love to read and write, sleep most days and am up fairly late at night. I would need someone that is either a shift worker like myself or someone that is okay with that. I've just moved from the gold coast and have left my party life behind so no major raves will be going on when you get home from work. 🖒 I loveeeee to cook like lovelovee, I cant drive or swim/ do anything remotely adult like other than feed myself, work and pay my bills. 😂 I'm super keen to even find a place with a couple of genuine down to earth people as I have a heap of furniture in storage. But if not thats perfectly fine! I'm sincerely trying to revamp my life for the better and meet new people around here. Message me if you would like to chat/ have anything you think would be suitable for me ☺
Hi guys! I am a second year UQ Psychology student looking for some fun housemates to hopefully become great friends with and share a comfortable environment. I am a friendly and fairly easy going person who enjoys sarcasm, memes and cute cat videos (I love cats). I like to spend most of my time when I am not studying or working watching TV shows, eating and napping (naps are life). I would therefore say I am pretty easy to live with, I am always up for a chat or a cheeky alcoholic beverage however at the same time I will always respect your space and privacy when you need it. I am looking to move in around January, however I can be pretty flexible with dates. So if I sound like someone you would be interested in living with or you just want to ask me some questions feel free to contact me anytime! (would prefer a team up situation if possible)
I am a postgrad medical student studying in UQ and am currently actively looking for a place closer to the hospitals. I am mostly quiet keeping to himself but sociable when things are happening. Normally I don't party. Never did drugs. Don't smoke. I am also tidy and cleans up after himself. I work as a casual online tutor with a lot of savings - enough to last me till I graduate in 3 more years and start being an intern, so rents and bills are never a problem.
