Hello! My name is Hannah, and I am a 23-year-old university student. I am moving from Sydney to start a degree at the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University in February 2018. I am looking for a private room to rent for the duration of my three-year course: preferably a share house within walking distance of the Con's Burke Street Studios in Woolloongabba. I am friendly and outgoing, but I also like my down time. I am very neat and like to keep my space clean and tidy at all times. It is extremely important to me that I contribute to household chores and do my bit to maintain a happy and harmonious living environment! I would love to meet some likeminded females who are looking for a tenant to move in around late January. If this is you, please feel free to contact me! I look forward to meeting you. :)
I have been living in Brisbane for the past 6 months, I moved from Sydney to finish my degree in Interior Design. When I am not studying or working I like to spend as much time with my 18month old nephew and family. I am always on the go and work in hospitality at the moment, looking for an internship in Interior Design. I really love to cook and especially bake! I am always wanting to try new things in the kitchen :) I would ideally like to live with housemates that would like to share a meal, glass of wine or a cuppa and not live in their rooms as I am a social person and always up for a chat or to chillout watching netflix.
I’m a high school teacher in East Bris looking for a lovely little place to come home to! I have an adorable Cocker Spaniel called Rudy (who is quite simply a legend). I’m clean (but not annoying about it), social (but not annoying about it), and will give you your space (unless we become best mates which is highly likely.)
I'm in desperate need of an all female house (private bedroom) under $180 including all bills and rent, I have been looking for ages now and have had no luck so here it goes :) I'm Melanie, 21 years young, I work part time in Brisbane City and this will be my first time moving out of home however I'm independent, considerate and friendly. I can assure you that bills and rent will be paid on time and I do respect people's privacy. I was born in Brisbane ( Mater Mothers like most Brisbane Babies haha) and have lived here all my life. My cultural background is Sri-Lankan & Indian and I don't know any other language except English :) Please please please do consider me as a flatmate, I'd love to meet up for coffee and chat about the details etc:) P. S I'm not a drinker or a smoker :)
Hi. My name is Ana Torres. I am international student, I'm learning English. I am responsible, tidy, friendly. I am interested about learning new things. Met know people and new places. Thanks so much. Have a good day
High school teacher and traveller who loves a laugh and a glass of red wine. Despite the large collection of cookbooks, am a terrible cook and usually resort to making some form of eggs for dinner. Previous housemates in London are now brilliant friends... hoping the luck will continue back home in Brisbane. Looking for a large room to cater for a desk, as well as some natural sunlight!
Hey! I am a 23 year old UQ student and bartender who is hopeful to create a comfortable and friendly home. I have a massive love for music, film and reading, and I enjoy the odd casual beer! I play guitar and sing in a couple of small bands and practice at home on my own on occasion, but I keep it within reasonable hours and at a respectful volume. If it's ever a problem, tell me to shut up and I'll happily comply. :) despite this, I spend most of my time either at uni, working or studying. I am clean and respectful, and I enjoy taking a bit of time out of daily life to be sociable. Hope to hear from you!
We are an Australian guy and an Argentinian girl moving to Brisbane for work (Ben) and study (Melisa). We are laid back, tidy, like our own space but are always happy to share a beer or a coffee with housemates. We both speak English and Spanish.
Hello everyone! I'm Sofia, 25 years old and a study abroad Student. I'm looking for a permanent stay die the next 5 months. I'm a clean, polite socialized and not complicated person. I like to travel, read books and going out with friends or even chill at home. Looking forward to hear from you and don't hesitate to leave a message if you like to know something more about me :)
I am an easy going person who is looking for a home not just a place to live. I would preferably like to live with a few people consisting of both sexes. I am new to Brisbane so need to get out and start meeting people which hopefully would be easier living with a few people. I however like my own time too. I would prefer to live with people around my age 30-50's, I'm 46. I'm a nurse and work at the Mater hospital and do like to cycle to work, at the moment I cycle from Camp Hill. I am a present trying to set up my own business in alternative health and that is why I have dropped a day at the hospital. I am very much into looking after my health. I go to Northley market every Sunday, enjoy gardening and growing my own veggies and walking in the bush. I go to yoga and meditation each week and am learning to play the ukulele. I want to learn how to play chess better and would like to join a choir and learn to dance. I am quite social and would like to chat with my housemates. I also like to entertain. I am moving out of my present accommodation because the lady who sub lets is moving in with her partner.
I am a spanish boy. Very clean and tidy. 39 years old I have just finished my english course but planing stay in Australia for al least 1 more year. I like healthy life and sports. Love outdoors.
Clean, can cook, and can keep to self if required. I'm looking for a place to study close to my uni so I don't have to commute 4 hours everyday - first year biomed student at uq. My current lease runs out in June so that is when I hope to move 😊
I am currently living in Melbourne and looking to move back to Brisbane beginning of March for work. Will be working at the Mater Mothers so looking for somewhere around that general area. I would love to live with a couple of others, and happy to look at teaming up to find a rental together. I enjoy a friendly and sociable house, however also enjoy my down time. Hoping to find some like minded people to share with, who are looking to become friends with their housemates rather than just live together. I am also looking to get a dog this year, so hoping to find a place with a nice yard and some dog-friendly housemates.
hey! If you're looking for a room mate that is super chilled? Clean? Funny? Cooks? Loves to have a banter? And go out for a bougy Well look no further. I'm 24, I work full time hospitality. I have two beautiful cats that are very well behaved. I'm looking for houses around greenslopes, east Brisbane, kangaroo point and annerley. And I'm ready to move in asap.
I from France, I have a visa working holyday but for the moment I am at @Shafston College to learn English because it is very bad.
Hi I’m Catarina, 22 years old and from Germany. I’m an open minded person and would love to meet new people !! I like to go to the beach and shopping on weekends, also sometimes to party :) but I’m also a very chilled person who love evenings with good talks, some snacks and Netflix! Back in Germany I have three dogs and miss them a lot, so if you have a pet it would be amazing and no problem! :) I’m looking for a room close to the inner city Brisbane and can’t pay more than 120$. I’m a backpacker at the moment and want to settle in Brisbane. I could move in around March
Hey! I'm a 20 year old full time Uni student in my 3rd year of Law. I work part-time as a Receptionist/Secretary. I consider myself a friendly, bubbly and respectful person, I'm social and outgoing yet also laid back, keep to myself and will respect your personal space. I'm clean, responsible, and organised, so you won't have to worry about my mess lying around! I usually have work and uni throughout the weekday with early starts and late finishes. On weekends I like to go out and about to brunch or dinner and drinks with friends, beach trips, and the occasional night out sometimes. Looking to move in with some girls around mid year into inner-city fringe suburbs, as I would like to live closer to work and uni which are both in the city. I'm open to moving into a room with coexisting housemates as well as open to teaming up with other girls and finding our own place to move into! :)
My name is Alexis (Lexi) and I’m a hard working professional that works a minimum of 8am-5,30pm weekdays but usually a lot more. I’m an energetic, happy and bubbly person who gets along with everyone. I’m very tidy and wouldn’t want to live with someone who doesn’t recognise that in themselves. I like my alone time a fair bit but also up for social stuff. Don’t drink but don’t mind or care if anyone else does. Usually down in Gold Coast on weekends since that’s where most of my friends are. Looking for easy going people to live with, either to get a nice pad together or if you have a place you love where you have a spot for me! *** I currently have a big 2 bedroom unit in Broadbeach Gold Coast which is completely furnished by me - so if there’s a woman out there without furniture who’s keen to find a place together - shoot me a message *** Let me know! Cheers
I am currently unemployed but soon to start a full time engineering job in the city. I'm an easy going, fun person who loves a chat and is extremely neat and tidy. Don't mind a bbq and beer over a sports game or just to kick back and relax.
Hi there, I am currently working full time at an accounting firm located in Dutton Park. I also run my own business as a hobby on the side. Some of my favorite things I like to do are grab coffee, try new restaurants, travel and do a little bit of photography! I'm not a crazy party girl but don't mind a drink or some wine and cheese on a Friday.
Hello! I'm currently a full time digital illustrator, however I am moving up to Brisbane (from Sydney) to resume full time study in February at Griffith Southbank QCA. As such, I'm looking to room in an apartment or sharehouse with easy access to Southbank. My only space requirements are somewhere to put my work computer that won't be in the way. I'm quiet and clean-- and while that's not much fun at parties, it does make me good at living with other like-minded introverts. Although I'm resuming study, I have many years of experience being a working professional and living with others in flats and sharehouses. I can provide references from previous happy housemates and evidence of rent being paid on time if you would like! Basically, I'm not new to this. I'd preferably like to move in to an already-established furnished place, however I am open to teaming up and starting a fresh new place as well! I do have some of my own furniture in storage, so if you want to team up to find a new space and furnish it ourselves, I can contribute two couches, a fridge, some kitchen chairs and some kitchenware to that. (As well as my own bedroom furniture.) As for what I look for in a place, I'm definitely one to prioritise compatibility with housemates over the house or flat itself. That isn't to say we have to be best friends, and I definitely don't want to hang out 24/7 (downtime is important!), but I want to actually like and know who I'm living with. So I'm most interested in a situation with people who want to live together as a community and talk to each other over dinner from time to time, rather than being say three different people who live side by side as complete strangers. I like cooking and my favourite dishes to cook are curry and stir fry! But I don't want to end up being the "house mum" who cooks every night of the week-- a shared workload between housemates is the ideal! In my opinion, anyway. If you aren't interested in that sort of arrangement and just want to do your own thing, I completely respect that, but please contact someone else. I'm fine with animals, though I've grown up with cats and love them the best :). My hobbies (when I'm not drawing) are reading, writing, going to the movies, and pilates! Gotta keep that core strength up. I also have my own Netflix account and love a good movie from time to time-- anything from arthouse to blockbuster popcorn flicks. My favourite is Star Wars, though. Nerd pride :). I also have a car and am more than happy to drive non-car-owning flatmates around, but I do need a space to park it, even if it's just on the street. I'm also very handy around the house and can build/fix most (non-electronic) things, and I'm good at sewing and fixing up clothes, but I am bad with bugs and spiders. Look forward to hearing from you! Peace :).
