we are a newly married couple. I am a full time student at the ANU and work part time at the Ibis styles. My husband also works part time at the Ibis styles. We love to keep our surroundings clean. We love to cook at home mostly and would prefer watching netflix instead of partying any day!
Hello everyone, my name is Debora. I am an independent dance artist (teaching dance, choreography, performance, events) and I also work in hospitality part-time. I am living in Canberra since 2015 and I like it very much. I also like to travel around Australia or overseas to take dance courses and give workshops when possible. I have It/Au Citizenship and every few years I try to visit my family in Italy. I am a quite dynamic person but I also like to have some quite time on my one when at home (work, study, meditate..). I like nature and to go for walks when I have some time. I am allergic to cats and dogs. I am tidy. Nice to meet you!
Female, full time student, studying law. In my final year and applying for internships. Part time working in retail and keen to move on up and out into the law field asap. I keep to myself most of the time. Though I do like the regular movie night and training sessions. I have a dog, titan, that's in training for mind dog program. So he is well behaved, house trained and loving. Would love to remain living in Canberra but it's getting pretty hard to find pet friendly accom as a one person. North Canberra would be my preference... anywhere lol. Keen for team ups
I am an Early Childhood Educator and work Tuesday to Friday in Higgins. I am the primary carer of my 9 month old daughter. I am recently separated. I am friendly, easy going, tidy and tend to keep to myself. I am looking for somewhere that I can raise my little one in a safe environment. If you want to know more, please contact me. Looking to move by the end of the month.
Looking to join a sharehouse or team up and start a new one.. About me : Fully employed, financially independent. Creative soul, musically inclined. I'm an experienced house-sharer, considerate of others, clean, respectful, social / independent. Looking for a large room, or seperate additional space, to setup my studio desk. Enjoy travelling, going on walks / hikes, photography, nature, reading, seeing live music, catching up with friends, music festivals, or wherever the day takes me. Home Life : I enjoy social time when living with others but also value my own space. I like to keep things fairly clean, but i'm not a clean freak. Ideally : i'd be sharing with some awesome, creative type people, who enjoy a meal / get together, but who also respect each others space. The usual really. Have a small bunch of furniture - queen sized bed, couch, fridge, microwave, desks, bookshelves, etc... can be used or put into storage. If you think we'd be a good fit get in touch! Anthony.
Hi there, I will move down to Canberra from Sydney for study and work in late Feb or early Mar. I am looking for one or two females/couple to share a flat with for at least 6 months or longer, but I am flexible with the length. I am an easy going and friendly person. I like to make friends, and wish we could become good friends to hang out and have a talk with. But I do respect others' privacy at the same time. I have experience of living with a family with little kid or females over 5 years, so I have learnt how to be considerate to housemates. I am also a quiet, clean, tidy and organised person. I would like to have a room with build-in wardrobe, ideally also is furnished (but I am flexible with that if the rent is a bit lower :P). I have a car, so off-street parking is necessary, of course garage is perfect! I do want the location of the house/flat has an easy access to public transport too, although lower frequency is acceptable. I look forward to hearing some good news from you guys! :)
I'm easy going, clean, like a good chat but also time to chill. Currently working full time but will eventually return to uni. I fill my time with work, exercise, good food and rubbish tv :)
I'm 27, working as an academic and looking for a room for at least six months, ideally longer, to move at the end of July. But I'm flexible on both those things for the right place :) I started my last Canberra sharehouse with friends and it's ending after 2.5 years together as one of us moves to NZ. I'm looking for a friendly, social house that enjoys dinners, board games and movie nights, especially /bad/ movie nights. You bring the house, I'll bring the mulled wine and books.
Heya, my name's Joel. Main part about me is that I'm a big fuckin' nerd (not in size though, I'm a pretty small dude). I come from a big family in Yass so I'm used to living with people, doing my part in the house and I absolutely love animals. As a result of a big family I can do all the household basics, cooking (to a degree anyway, I ain't a chef by any standard), clothes washing, ironing etc, cleaning dishes and standard household cleaning too. In general I'm a very quiet person, and will likely be shy for a while, so definitely enjoy that part because when I get on a nerdy subject with someone I'm familiar with I can talk for hours on end. On the weekends and nights when I have time I usually read, or I do leatherwork as a hobby, so housemates who don't mind a bit of hammering now and then (don't worry, I'm very conscious of other people so I won't be doing it at bad hours for people) are preferred. Then for those familiar with personality types I'm an INFP, and if starsign matters at all I'm a Gemini (I don't really care too much personally but I know it matters for quite a few people :) ). I will be studying a Cert 4 in Education Support at CIT Bruce so looking for a place to live for at least a year. Think that just about wraps me up!
Hi guys, I’m moving to Canberra from Sydney to study at UC starting early August. I work as a PA here in Sydney and have been living here for 8 years. Love live music, whiskey, endless brunch, and movies. I have experience in a share house so I know how to be a good homies 😊 Ps. I’m looking for a room near uni or somewhere within 10K from it with easy access to public transport
ROOM AVAILABLE NEXT WEEK My boyfriend and I are signing a lease for a 3 bedroom house in Florey, and are open to the idea of sub-letting and sharing our home with one other person if we find the right fit. We would want someone clean and tidy, particularly in the kitchen. Open communication is a priority to us, and making the time to deal with household issues and chats. Easy to chill with, relaxed about smoking, sociable at times but private and respectful of our space as well would be preferable. Give me a message if you're interested in living with us and we can chat and see how that goes. Room comes with a double bed. Vegans and Vegetarians very welcome. Cheerio!
I am a uni student studying Biomedical science, I am easy to get along with and am very hard to offend. Good for a bit of friendly banter :P With uni and work I wont be there half the time as my hours are inchangeable. I am not very fussy, but im a huge nerd :P (harry potter & marvel, the full works)
Hey :) I'm a full-time PhD student at the ANU, very quiet and mostly keep to myself. I have lived in share houses for a long time and am very respectful of other people's space & privacy. I like to keep my room clean, and the common area as well when possible. Looking for an established quiet share house, or 1-2 similar-minded people to team up for a new lease. I don't have any furniture at the moment, but happy to buy if needed. Ideally I'd like to have my own bathroom and a parking space for my car. I also like modern houses/units/apartments with large walk-in robes. If this sounds like you don't hesitate to hit me up! Cheers
Hi! I'm Adam. I work full time as an animator for a small digital advertising company. I'm very laid back and like to keep things tidy, I mostly keep to myself but I'm always down to socialise! I've lived in a share house for the past 5-ish years so I'm used to pulling my own weight, I'm just keen to upgrade to a bigger place that can offer a bit more privacy and space (as well as a proper sized kitchen!), as well as secure parking and air conditioning. I have no pets but I miss having pets around so if you've got any that's a bonus as far as I'm concerned. :) And, although it's not a requirement, if you've got a place where I could consider getting a pet of my own that would be amazing. I'm also not keen on moving around a lot so ideally I'm looking for a long-term arrangement, somewhere I can call home. Aiming to stay on the south side of the ACT as my office is there and the stage 2 plans for the light rail taking up a couple of lanes on Commonwealth Avenue bridge and making traffic horrendous sounds terrifying, so I'd rather not deal with that!
I am a very social, hard working clean and tidy kind of person, i am very respectful toward others no matter what. ill hardly be home considering i work Monday to Friday 8:30-5 at a real estate agency, that unfortunately cannot find me a nice home to call my own. and i usually go home to my family on the weekends or ill be hanging out with friends. also very interested in team ups! I am very easy going and always love to have a chat but i also enjoy my own company. feel free to sling me a message!
I am moving to Canberra to join the APS in the beginning of February. I am looking for a room with an ensuite bathroom. I am flexible about the location, though I will be working in Forrest. I don't smoke or drink. I don't have pets and have no intention of getting them ever. I like my privacy and understand the need for others to have theirs. But I am not opposed to 'netflix and chill' once in a while. I love baking and I am a sucker for anything with chocolate but I am trying to eat healthy now. I've been told I am funny, mostly because I get into embarrassing situations which then turn into hilarious stories. I am reliable, organised and clean.
