I recently accepted a new job on the central coast, so need an unfurnished place convenient, to commute to both between work and Macquarie University - preferably with own bath room. I've lived in Sydney for two years after relocating through work from Perth, and am looking for a household of responsible and chilled people who like their own space but can also be accommodating to their flatmates. Biggest housemate bonus: I enjoy cooking an sharing meals with the house from time to time Biggest housemate quirk: I can get a bit anal about a clean and tidy kitchen When I'm not busy with study, I enjoy all kinds of electronic music, working out at the gym, cycling, the occasional beverage, exploring Sydney and dining out, and chilling with a movie or comedy show on TV.
Hey there, we are a de-facto couple looking for another serious couple or single to team up with and split half house or a nice apartment. Anywhere from 2-4 bedrooms and 1-2 bathrooms. We figure that for up to $600, we could get something quite nice out of the city around water. If there were 3 bedrooms we could share the third as a guest room or nap room for example, if 4 then we get two rooms per couple. Ideally, we are looking for a house in Brooklyn or a modern or large apartment in Cronulla. We don't drive so walking distance to train station is a must. I'm 28, a research student at UNSW and I work as an audiovisual technician for events across greater Sydney. Tyler is 31 and he works as a duty manager at a hotel. We are both creative types, we love a good beer, and we use electronic cigarettes outside. We are very open-minded and believe in equality and non-discrimination. We've grown out of partying as we don't have time with our creative-side projects. We do have an adorable pet rabbit. Happy if you have pets if house size permits. Looking to share the lease and all bills, so commitment is a must. Of course, we would love to meet and make sure we all get along before looking for a place.
I'm 22 trying to move out of my parents place. I work full time in mt kuringai so would like to be close to that area. I have two cockatiels who are very friendly. I'm clean, I like to keep to myself but also have a laugh and a drink or two. I also don't mind a night at the local pub.
Easy going, wont be there most of the time. Currently live in Forster and need accommodation while working in Sydney. 2days, 2 nights 5 days off, will head back to Forster on my days off. Clean and tidy person who is also sociable.
I am an honest, mature lady. I grew up on the Upper North Shore and keen to move back into this area to settle. I am a Senior Speech Pathologist so I like a good chat but equally happy to spend time just with my little dog Sarah, my flatmate - she has always lived inside with me and so I usually add her onto the rental lease. She is very well trained, always had annual canine vaccinations and she's well mannered.
I'm a nursing student studying full time and working part time, and am very easy going. I am out most of the time during the day and some nights, so I tend not to bother you! But I'm super open to making new friends too, and down for hanging out and chilling at home :)
I work at Australia Post full time and I am a quite person who is busy with my schedules. I am after a place where everyone respects each other. I do some exercise during my spare time and plan to go for swimming as well.
So - a bit about me. I'm living in Sydney at the moment, having returned from some time overseas just under 2 years ago. I'm a mature, single female, I'm easy going and respectful of other's privacy and have great rental and professional/personal references. I am an Australian Citizen of UK birth. I am sociable, happy to share a glass of wine, and the occasional meal, but I'm not looking for a party house. If I do share (I'm also looking for a granny flat style accommodation) then I prefer to only share with one or two others at the most. I love living near nature, so a city house is not what I'm looking for. I have two very well behaved pets - a cat called Kitwe (who is a very lazy neutered boy, sleeping most of the day and night away) and a beautiful (small) border collie called Mr Finn. Both are rescues and I actually brought Mr Finn back with me from South Africa (my cat is Australian and went with me to SA and came home again). They are both neutered and I keep them well groomed and clean. I walk my dog for 2 hours a day so he is a relaxed dog and causes no problems. As you can tell I am very fond of my pets and take great care of them. They are clean, house-trained and my rental references for the last 7 years are for properties where they both lived with me.
I'm from the Philippines and I'm currently on a student visa undergoing my 2nd course of study. I'm tidy and clean in the house. I'm friendly, easy going, helpful and fun. I'm also pretty flexible and can get along with just about anyone.
Quiet independent young guy looking for someone who can respect space. I am initially looking for somewhere around the Hornsby area for 3 months. I will be working 6 days commuting between the central coast and Homebush for work. I will only be home for 3 or 4 nights per week as I will be travelling back and forth. At the end of September, I will be looking to make my residence more permanent.
I'm a mature, quiet, tidy, lady who is easy going, originally from the country (Tasmania) but been here long enough now to say I'm Australian. I work part time in the Child Care Industry and current working for a family in Chatswood, mainly afternoons and early evening shifts. Im friendly and enjoy socialising however I am also respectful of others personal space. I'm happy to share the occasional meal or drink together but in saying that I'm also just as happy to do my own thing.
Hi eveerybody ! I'm Maëlys, french student, 20 yo, coming to Sydney for an internship (2 months and a half). I've already lived with a room-mate and it was really cool! I like to hang out, run and I can't wait to meet new people and discover Sydney :)
Hi. I am a professional worker at St Leonards. Seeking a temporary room whilst transitioning from selling to buying an apartment for approximately 2-6 weeks. Must be clean. Prefer living with females. I’m easy going, clean & tidy.
Work fulltime in the ku-ring-gai area. Looking to move closer to work for a relatively short time (6 months-ish) Am a generally quiet person, but would always be up for a cheeky bev at the pub or the odd weekend roadtrip. But also down for a quiet night in binge watching some tv show. (P.s. bloody love British humour I'm into my cars (I have two), and football/soccer -epl. Hopefully can find someone who's into that, but at the same time I'm not fussed if you're not. Any other q's don't hesitate to contact me.
Looking to share existing house on some land with mature minded, energetic and active house mate/s, preferably female, who have a positive outlook on life and an interest in a more natural, simpler lifestyle.
I'm a pharmacy intern working full time, while also studying towards my registration. I tend to be pretty quiet, but in what freedom I have I enjoy a good chat over wine and pizza. I also really like spending time with my friends, both marathoning TV shows and out and about. I've also grown up always having a dog and a cat, so am comfortable with them (reptiles freak me out though).
Responsible, caring, clean, a Francophone by birth, I have excellent references from Real Estate Property management, and I myself worked in real estate sales for 8 years, in Sydney's Northern Beaches and the Inner West. I like Nature, I like space, and a tidy, pleasant home. I can be social but respect we all need our quiet time. I have learnt to be on my own after losing my husband, and that's fine. I am vegetarian since the 1980's and vegan for five years now and I am a committed animal lover. I am an actor by profession and I have an agent in Sydney and in Melbourne. I am finishing a Uni degree by distance education and I have two years to complete this. I have two gorgeous cats, Ellery, Ellie is 2 years old and Hermione is 1 year young, both trained, both adored, and they are gentle, shy cats, and both were rescued by me as babies. I do prefer a house situation with an enclosed garden, it also must be DOG-FREE, as Ellery had a BAD experience as a 6 month kitten with an owner's untrained German Shepherd. As a former competitive swimmer, I prefer to be near the ocean. Ellery and Hermione are in and out during the morning and they are locked in at night time. I have lived all over the world and travelling is a passion. My view is to a long term tenure - one to three years, as moving is stressful and expensive, thank you.
Very easy going and fair, clean and tidy, health and fitness minded, quite and respectful professional. Enjoy socialising with house mates and helping out with everything. Keen cyclist and some experience with computer programming with 446 language. Open to learning new things.
