Hello! My small dog and I are looking for a home. We are looking for flatmates who LOVE DOGS. I am looking to live within walking distance to a train station as I don't drive. Sorry, I am not looking to share with any smokers. I'm a 28 years young full-time 9am-6pm working professional in the photography industry in the CBD. I'm a non-smoker and born in Sydney. I am honest, responsible and clean. I keep my personal and communal areas clean and tidy. I am respectful of other people and their personal space and property. I'm friendly, like to hangout/chillout and like to get to know people. At the same time, I'm quiet, shy and like to keep to myself as well. I'm looking for a place to live where it's quiet, drama-free and not a party house as a good night's sleep is very important to me. During the working week, I like to take my dog for walks, go to the gym and go to bed as early as I can. On the weekends, I like to treat my dog to the dog beach/park, skateboard and cook. I'm looking for flatmates who wouldn't mind feeding my dog once in a while when I stay out past dinner time if I'm out at a music concert or doing something at night. Of course I'd be more than happy to doggysit my flatmates's pets if they'd wish :) My interests/hobbies include going to the gym, skateboarding, going to music concerts, taking my dog on mini outdoor adventures, watching movies, film photography, board games, and arts and crafts. My dog is a 6 years young male Chihuahua. He is doggy door toilet trained, desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. He is a clean indoor dog and sleeps on my bed. He loves people but needs time to warm up to them, so he is shy and nervous initially. He is friendly and playful with other small dogs. He hasn't lived with another dog before, but I think a dog friend would be good company for him as he doesn't like to be home alone. Sorry, he is not cat friendly. He loves going for walks, playing ball and following me everywhere around the home. He does bark when someone leaves or enters the home, but only for about 30 seconds. He also barks if he sees another dog walking outside from the home window. So we are looking to live with people who are understanding and tolerant of these now-and-again barks. He is very protective of me, and becomes scared easily if treated badly by someone and may nip to defend himself. So please, we are looking to live with DOG LOVERS ONLY who will show him lots of love, and won't grab him or yell at him aggressively.
Hi there, I'm Sharon and I'm looking for a quiet, furnished private room for at least three months to the end of May 2017, maybe longer. I've flat and house shared most of my adult life, so am very aware of keeping a place clean and tidy and respecting other people's space. My career vocation is Organisational Change and Communications Management and I was a Professional House Sitter while living in Queensland a few years ago. I'm very open, adaptable and easy going. Live a fairly independent life and am also happy to share a meal or a glass of wine with my flat mate/s when it suits. Ideally, I'd like to share a relaxed home environment with like-minded 40+ people (of any orientation) who have some common values and life experiences. Ready to move pretty much anytime... Looking forward to meeting you soon Cheers Sharon
We are two friends and we are looking for an accomodation in Sydney. We are energetic and friendly and we love meet people ! Aurelie is from France and Layla from Holland. We would like to stay in Sydney between 2 or 3 months and then we would like to travel ! Thank you for help us to find something !
Hi ! I am Camille, a french architect on a Working Holiday Visa who recently got a job in Sydney. I am open-minded and outgoing. I like to live in a nice and tidy place and to share time with my roommates. I love walking, running, cooking, reading but also watching series and movies. I like to go out sometimes but also to stay comfy at home and enjoy a quiet evening !
The new kid on the block; I'm making the move East for work as an architect and am seeking a convenient and clean place to live. I'm looking forward to settling in Sydney for a good while and I'm keen to explore the city and state, meet new people and make new friends. I've lived with housemates for many years here in Perth and consider many of them amongst my closest friends, i'd love for that to happen again. I am an easy going, fun loving guy who prides himself on being clean, fair and good fun. I like nothing more than some time outside in the sun, a good laugh, good food and good people.
I work full-time on weekdays. Prefer to spend the weekends outdoors - coastal walks, short hikes, beaches, etc. I have got varied interests including art and literature too. No pets, please!
I've just moved back to Sydney after 8 years away. Tend to socialise outside the house. Super clean & tidy (will always pay for a cleaner - I don't want to spend my weekends with a mop). Love a few wines with friends over a meal. I write, I read, I keep my bad tv show viewing to myself :) I love cooking but I love getting meals delivered more. That is to say - I can cook, but I never do, because cooking for one isn't much fun. I want a place with my own bathroom. Kinda flexible on location - just want it to be nice, and convenient for transport etc. I'd prefer to only be living with one other person, possibly two. Definitely no large share houses, though. Flexible on length of minimum stay. Professional - work in comms/marketing. Travel as much as I can.
I am 21, Orginally from London but have lived here for almost 6 years now. I work full time for an insurance company in North Sydney as an assistant underwriter and looking to live close by. I love sports and art/design and am a qualified ski instructor so love to get away to the snow for a weekend when I can! I am not a huge party person but try to go out when I can. I'm very easy going, light hearted and I never take myself or anything too serious. I am a very communal person and am happy to interact and socialise with whoever is in at the time but also am more than happy in my own company when myself or others want their own down time. I am very clean, tidy and respectful and will always do my bit to help out!
I am looking for a private room (not a shared room) somewhere in a nice area, close to Sydney City, with a car space or street parking. I travel interstate on the weekends which means you will usually have extra space for yourself over the weekend. I am a normal, honest, neat, tidy, respectful, reliable full time working professional.
Hi, my name is Martina, I'm 25 years old and I'm from Austria. I'm looking for a furnished room; from March until September I'm doing a traineeship in Marketing sector. I am already in Sydney, at the moment I'm staying in an Airbnb. I just passed my master studies in Austria and am looking forward to a great time abroad. I love to travel and get to know new cultures. I'm open-minded, clean, simple. Please dont't hesitate to ask, if you have questions about me. Cheers, Martina :)
I am 32, medical professional. I have recently finished my PhD study in Brisbane and moved to Sydney for work in medical consultation. My work covers 3 states so I travel 1/3 of the time for work. I am open minded, easy going and I'm a quiet person. My friends say that I have a pleasant personality and I am very easy going but I'm usually very busy. I have lived in France and England before coming to Australia more than 6 years ago.
We are very easy going girls just looking for somewhere to stay for a couple of months as we are working in Sydney! We are very happy sharing a room and bed and are very flexible depending on the needs of whoever we are living with.
I'm 24 and working full time in the city in media. I like going to the beach, having drinks with friends, going to the gym, watching movies, reading, etc. Animals and travelling are my life although I have no pets! I like socialising and meeting new people but can also respect people's privacy. I try to stay positive at all times and get excited by the little things. If you think we could get along in a house together then send me a message! 😊
We are both from the U.K, having travelled quite a bit previously we are now looking to get back to normality and settle into one spot. Working around the Bondi area, we are looking to live here too. We are very chilled and have house shared before, so we know the rules! We are also very sociable and enjoy spending a lot of time outdoors, especially after a long day at work. We are currently staying in hostels and so working and living is quite difficult, we are looking for somewhere to move in pretty much with immediate effect, the sooner the better!
Hi! I am 22 and I am from Orange. I love bushwalking, camping, travelling and being outdoorsy. I have recently been travelling for six months and eating fabulous food so at the moment I am updating my cookbook and also working out (at home, I'm pretty broke at the moment). However, I do have rent money! I work as an Aba (autism) therapist part time and I am studying speech pathology full time at Macquarie. I am applying for lots of places today for 2 people and I am looking for someone(s) who thinks they might be into some of the things I'm into to live in the other room! Please hit me up!
Hi! Who am I? I am an early 30s French professional working in North Sydney. I am looking for a nice place to live and feel at home. I am laid-back, I like to socialise and to have a drink after a hard day's work. I am not a party animal and I also need some quiet times to work on my projects. I like to keep things clean without being maniac and I have a long experience of sharing a flat. On a more personal note I love travelling, discovering new things and keeping my mind open. I am often out to meet friends in the city. Sometimes I am also a photographer and a (beginner) surfer. On a more serious note: I always pay on time and I respect the persons welcoming me, any equipment they share and their house. What I am looking for? I am searching for a single bedroom in Kirribilli/Milsons Point/North Sydney area. I can move in 1st of March. I will share this flat/house with like minded persons who enjoy what they are doing and love life. I prefer a furnished bedroom but if that's not the case it's not blocking issue. I am looking at prices around 350pw all bills included. But I am ready to go up to 400pw if the place is great. I hope to hear from you soon!
Hi there! I graduated in Industrial Engineering in 2011 and then went on to pursue another degree in science, travel to 40+ countries on a short budget and support myself through work as a designer/developer/consultant/bike messenger/younameitivedoneit. I'm currently doing a Masters Degree in Global Studies and have been nominated to spend a semester at Macquarie University in Sydney from late February until June 2017. I'm Austrian but currently living in Perth so literally just coming over to Sydney to spend those 4 months at Macquarie. I'm also currently co-founding a Perth-based start-up on which I try to work part-time hours on. Apart from that I live an active healthy life, enjoy the outdoors and am not into partying, drinking and the likes. I enjoy the odd beer or glass of wine but that's about it usually. In regards to living arrangements, I'm generally a pretty clean, quiet and respectful person and experience has shown that I enjoy living with people who have their shit together and move out again rather quickly if that's not the case :) Happy to pay up to $400 a week for the right place, the room needs to be furnished.
Hi There! My name is Koen van der List, I am a finance student from the Netherlands. In Sydney, I am undertaking a full-time internship. In my spare time, I like to read, play guitar, and run. I am in for a drink in the weekends, and prefer to keep it calm during the week. I prefer clean and tidy housemates and wish to stay for 4 to 5 months.
Hi, I'm a 19 years old girl from Sweden who's been traveling Asia for the past months. I'm looking for a place to stay while working, in Freshwater, Manly, Fairlight, Balgowlah, Mosman, Cremorne, Neutral Bay, Kirribilli or Lavender Bay as soon as possible. I expect to stay for about 9 months. I'm outgoing, positive and tidy, enjoy being social but respect privacy. I'm spontaneous, love working out but don't mind sharing a bottle of wine or beers with great company - I'm looking for a likeminded and easygoing flatmate. I will probably spend a lot of time at my sister's or outdoors, as Sweden don't spoil us with much sun, so there will be privacy time. I have no problems with dogs, cats etc. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions!
Hi I just moved to Sydney from Brisbane for a new job. I work full-time in a medical diagnostics company. I'm a clean, respectful housemate, would love to grab a coffee and get to know each other during or after a room inspection :)
Heya, My Name is Zoe and I'm 22 and looking for a new home! I work Full Time as a Medical Receptionist in Chatswood and spend most my days off lying in the sun or out with Friends. I'm a fun and sociable person, am always down for a few beers but am mindful of other people's space. I'm looking for a fun house I can call home. Look forward to hearing from you!
I'm just a laid back Canadian, who would like a nice flatmate to banter with. I'm pretty courteous and clean. I have dust allergies, so I try to keep everything as tidy as possible. I don't like keeping dirty dishes in the sink either. My friends say I smell nice, so that's a bonus. Aside from that, I work as a Marketing Manager in the CBD. You can find me on top of a mountain, in the middle of a football field, or tackling a fat piece of cake. Ideally, I'm looking for a place to stay from March 19 till the beginning of August.
Recently relocated to Sydney from London. I'm looking for a room with a private bathroom and good transport links to the CBD. I'm a full time professional working 9-5. I am clean (not OCD), respectful and considerate. I generally relax in the week after work and try to spend my weekends outside. I enjoy the usual scene - bars, restaurants, theatre and travel etc. Ideally I am looking for like minded professional(s) to share with. I'd like to live with someone who is sociable but isn't a party person during the week.
Hi! I am postgraduate student, I work in pharmacy and have a steady income. I am a friendly, reliable, tidy and considerate individual. I enjoy spending time outdoors and love hanging out with friends whether just chilling at home or heading out for a nice meal. I also enjoy playing team sports such a touch football and planning travel ideas for when I finally graduate : ) I would prefer somewhere within walking distance of train stations. Thanks!
Originally from the country. Have been in sydney for just over 2 years for my career and love meeting different and new people any chance i get (i have started my career based on this) I am a 'glass half full' person that enjoys a laugh, a beer and easy to hang out with people. I am tidy but not a clean nazi and willing to do.the cleaning of shared areas as well as my own. I am a Sales Manager by profession so can work long hours but am reliable for bills and expenses. I come with minimal luggage and can move immediately.
Hi there! I'm Roxy. I'm 28. I'm about to move to Sydney to study and I'm looking for short term accommodation of sorts from March 10th. I'm friendly, bubbly, clean and respectful and hope to make some new friends through my endeavours :)
Hey dudes, my name's René. I'm 23 which is old as for a student these days. I'm starting my masters in Sydney this year, and this particular flavour of masters focuses on radiation physics in medical context. So like cancer treatment, imaging technology and whatnot. I been out of uni two years now, did the BSc at the University of Auckland and finished up there end of 2014. Since then I've worked a number of different jobs saving those coins. So that's sorta where I'm coming from on the academic side of things. As for me personally I'm pretty relaxed on just about everything. Or think I am at least. I've grown up a wee bit since undergrad and I can't really be bothered partying hard like I used to. I'd rather get stuff done ya know? A few cheeky beers every now and then doesn't go amiss though. I'll probably be out of the house most of the time I guess, between coursework and sporting commitments, some kind of employment and whatever other social opportunities crop up. So if unobtrusive flatmates are your thing I'm your guy. My sport of choice is weightlifting so I got decent at cooking since one of the things we in the community like to do is eat a lot. One-pot wonders are a specialty and a couple of them I have whittled down to an art form. Feel free to ask me about anything else I may have missed in this very general summary!
I currently work at channel 9 in the city doing advertising and sales. I also will start working part time for Football NSW at the end of March doing some writing for them as well as studying online through Australian Institute of Fitness this year. I am looking to move closer to work from my current living situation. I am a very easy going person and easy to live with. For fun I enjoy sport as I do play soccer, going to the beach, going out on the weekends and socialising.
I am a very bubbly, outgoing person. I horse ride and will normally spend my weekends competing or hanging with friends. A big movie buff and do like a good wine or two! I work full time and just started a new job in the city. Would prefer own bathroom and hope there would be a blacony or terrace! Excited to learn about you and hopefully we get to meet!
Hey! I'm a 29 years young German student who is looking for a nice place to stay in Sydney. I've decided to spend some time in Australia before completing my Master's degree in Computer Science. During my stay I'll do an internship at a software company in Neutral Bay. I'm a a clean, trustworthy & easy-going person who prefers a nice chat over a party.
27 years old, born and raised in Sydney. Looking for an awesome bunch of people who enjoy socialising. I love going for dinner/drinks and but also enjoy a cheeky netflix session after work to wind down. I'm very active and love all sports especially Rugby. I work in Finance/Funds Management full time in the CBD. I'm tall (6ft 5in!) so I'll probably need a room that fits a queen size bed.
I am a Retoucher/Fitness photographer. Spent my working career in Advertising. Love the outdoors, beach anything that gets me away from the computer. I have a small 15yr old dog Belle. She basically sleeps all day after I walk her in the morn. She loves people and other dogs. I love fitness, go to gym 4-5 x p/w, like the occasional social drink and basically love to have a good laugh at the end of the day.
I am currently looking for work, tried living it in Melbourne so coming back to Sydney. Looking to live in a social house but still happy to chill out, watch films and tv and still enjoy private space. Just wanting to get to know more people, I'm easy going, friendly, bubbly, loves to cook and food and drink in general, I like doing fun activities like puzzle rooms, bowling etc and happy to help out with maintaining a clean house.

I'm Sam, 24, originally from Coffs Harbour, I've just finished 12 months of travel and I'm now looking to move somewhere close to the CBD. I'm a recent law/literature grad from the University of Queensland and I've just signed a minimum 12 month contract with the Federal Court of Australia, afterwards I'll be working with a firm in the CBD. I'd like to be moving into a new place between the 17th or the 31st of March and to be paying 300 or less, but I would be flexible with dates and price for the right place. Get in touch!
Hi my name is Rangi Hirini. I have a full time job in the media. I'm clean, tidy and respectful. I like to have a drink or share a meal with my flatmate but also after long days in the office- sometimes I just need some "me" time. On weekends i like to chill out and explore Sydney because I've recently moved over from Perth. I really have much to add so just throw me some questions if you want to know more :)
Hi! My name is Ellen and I'm 20 years old. I have recently moved to Sydney from Melbourne and am looking for a place to move into short-term. I'm very friendly, laid-back and easy to get along with. I like to socialise and go out with friends but I also enjoy spending quiet time at home. I work nights at a restaurant in Balmain and spend my days modelling, swimming at the beach and going to cafes and bars. I am honest, organised and completely responsible. I'm more than happy to help cook and clean to maintain a happy, tidy house! I don't have any pets of my own but would love a place that has a cat or a dog for me to cuddle and love. I'm looking to move into a place with housemates that are happy to hang out with me but where I can have my own space too.
Flexible on area. Ideally within 35 mins public transport of CBD. Looking for an en suite/private bathroom. I will likely be in Sydney for 12 months. My preference would be to commit to a three month contract initially while I find my feet but I can commit to longer for the right place. I am a 27 year old Londoner just arrived in Sydney on a 12 month working visa. I came to visit Sydney last winter and fell in love; I figured if I liked it in Winter I would adore it in Summer. So far, so good! :) I am looking a nice, chilled flatshare with not too many people. Always up for a kitchen chat or Netflix night and a glass of vino but also like my own space and respectful of other's privacy. I have been living in home shares since I was 18 and consider myself a reasonably decent human being (hopefully!). I like to keeps things clean and tidy. Back home, I work in social services/children's services. If I can find that kind of work I will do that but I am up for doing anything- within reason! I will likely be working 4 or 5 days a week. I want to find a job asap but I saved before I came out here so the bond and first couple of months rent won't be a problem. Though I hope to find a job much sooner than that! In my spare time I like to gym a bit, eating and drinking out, movies, bit of beach and day tripping. The usual really. Hope to hear from you soon if you have an en suite/private room available. :) Thanks! Hannah

I work full-time for an IT firm in the city. Looking for a furnished private room with own bathroom in apartments with no more than 3 people living in it, would be great if it has indoor swimming pool facilities. Area of particular interest is in lower North Shore (St Leonards, Crows Nest, North Sydney, Artarmon and Chatswood). Ideally would prefer the apartment unit to be north-facing, must have easy access to public transport (preferably train) and excellent amenities (walking distance to decent sized supermarket, shops, etc.). My budget is $350/wk including bills (water, electricity, gas and wifi). I am a 40-year-old professional, mature and responsible, at the same time, respectful, friendly and easy-going. I am meticulous to cleanliness and would do everything to look after the property as it is my own. I need my own privacy and will definitely respect yours. Would love to share flat with someone who is like-minded. If you're looking for a responsible long-term flatmate/tenant, you won't be disappointed with me.

Hiya, looking for clean, quiet household with respectful housemates. I'm tidy and mindful of others, and I work nights and weekends with Mon and Tues off. I like catching up for a bit but not much time due to work schedule. Don't smoke and very rarely drink. Very active with gym, swimming and sports. Looking for a place that is rather quiet and respectful. Can't stand party houses or being around people who drink a lot or smoke. If you work normal hours and/or keep to yourself that would work well. I am social but home for me is mostly for relaxing and sleep. I have a car and two motorbikes. Need somewhere secure or off street at least for 1 bike. Others can go on the road. Looking to pay no more than 250 inclusive of all bills. Looking forward to hearing from you.
