Hi! We're an English couple (Izzy, 26 and Nick, 27), just arrived in Sydney after 3 months travelling in Western Australia. We're hoping to be here for the next few years and need to find our first Australian home! Izzy works for an advertising agency in Surrey Hills, whilst Nick is on the job hunt at the moment but has experience from the UK so it shouldn't be too long. We're both into the outdoors, the ocean and love animals. Both very relaxed and tidy. We love a good party and night out, but aren't really looking to move in to a party house... A nice chilled vibe is more what we're after, a base to work in the week and explore our new home on the weekend! When we're at home we'd love to hangout with our flatmates, but also respect the need for people's own space and would also like the same of our space. Some days you may not see us as we have a few friends here and like to spend a fair amount of time out with them or as just the two of us. We're both pretty active, swimming, running, cycling and who knows maybe surfing!! Ideally we would be looking for similar minded flatmates, clean and relaxed, up for a good time, just not some absolute nutters!! If we sound OK get in touch we'd love to hear from you. x
Hi I'm Charlotte! Im 24 and currently in my final semester at uni part-time and working. I love the sun so on my days off am often outside; running, hiking, snorkelling or in a beer garden somewhere...other interests include cinema and live music - im a pretty chill person to live with open-minded, considerate and laid back! I am usually out and about but always down for a chat when im home :) looking for somewhere longterm!
Hello! I’m a kiwi girl who has been living in Australia for the last 4 years. Currently working full-time in Finance - St Leonard’s. Also studying Accounting & Finance 3 nights a week this entire year so will be pretty busy!! I'm a super tidy, positive, respectful & motivated person who gets on with anyone and everyone! No dramas here :) In my spare time I love to cook, beach, wine, travel, exercise & go on weekend adventures. Absolutely love food so enjoy heading out on the weekends & finding new, amazing joints. I have a great home/weekend party balance & am very easy-going. I do have a car so need a parking spot/garage if possible. :)
I have been working in London for the past 4 years for Estée Lauder and Harrods. I am returning to a new position at Waringah Mall. As a result I need somewhere in walking distance to the beach, shops and transport to work, not limited to Brookvale, however Sydney has a great network of trains and buses. I'm an easy going non smoker, cook, clean and all that boring stuff, the odd glass of wine with a meal, clean and tidy, not anal. I enjoy Jazz, fine food and come complete without baggage, well my suitcase. I ultimately would enjoy sharing with just one other human.
Winner of Flatmate of the year 2016. The perfect balance between social and respectable, Joshua is full of good vibes but dedicated to his career. Working as a Personal Trainer and coaching Men through my own business keeps my hands pretty full. Meditation, learning Spanish and health are the biggest staples in my life but I enjoy the opposite just as much when the time comes. Big outdoors person and like to work from cafes so am out a lot of the time but like to return to a good 'home' environment. I'm moving closer to the city as Avalon is a bit far away now I'm spending more time here. Lets get in touch and make something awesome (y)
Hi, my name is Mel. I am 26 year old Australian working full time in social work. My land lord is moving back in so I have to vacate. I've lived in the area for nearly 2 years and I love it. I like to take pride in where I live so I do like to have a clean home. I spend a couple of nights out a week catching up with friends etcc. I'm always up for a glass of wine and a chat but I understand that everyone needs their own space. I like to have our separate food cupboards and spaces in the fridge but yet saying that, you are welcome to borrow anything of mine if you have run out. Non smoker and I have no pets but I am a big animal lover :)
Hey! I'm Kelly, 24, full time hairdresser from England and will be returning to Sydney on the 25th of this month and need a private room in a share house (or apartment or whatever!) ASAP. I am open to the location as long as it is easy to commute into the city centre. I'm fun, friendly, easy-going, clean, sociable but respectful of privacy. Looking for like-minded flat buds to share with. Please message me so we can chat if you're interested :) Need room to be available the day I arrive back in Sydney so happy to Skype and Face-time!
So it's kinda awfully difficult to just jump into telling somebody why you're fun, or like are you supposed to tell them that you're not fun so that they're more likely to give you a place cause you don't party? #justsharehousethings I'm Toby, I'm a professional musician/tutor and I love a house that smells like Jazz first thing in the morning. My hobbies include listening to hip-hop and wondering how somebody as ethnically ambiguous as myself could have turned out so white, looking at memes and trying to understand the whole "why" behind wine. I'm not the sort of guy who really throws party (legitimately have like 5-10 friends max and I work a lot, but most of them are really good looking and if not, they definitely have nice hair) but I really like going to them so am totally fine if you ever have them going on :) I do also have dope speakers for if a party is ever to be thrown Mostly spend my time at home listening to music/practicing but I can do all of that with headphones on so it won't disturb anybody. I'm a big fan of most animals and totally LGBTQI+ supportive so lowkey please don't ask me to live with you if you're hella transphobic/homophobic/sexist etc. because I'd like to live somewhere I feel comfortable taking my friends back to. No tea no shade, it's just really not my vibe. Kind of a prerequisite that the place has parking available; musicians have an awful lot of gear D: Pretty strictly limited at $300 a week so if your place costs more than this, please only message me if you wanna barter music lessons for discounts in rent. Kinda joking but mostly not really. But yaass, hit me up <3 xoxo Gossip Toby
I'm 24, from England and have been travelling the east cost for the past 4 months ! Super friendly, im yet to meet a person I couldn't have a laugh with :)

Well where do I start!?' I'm the one on the right. Apparently I have no photos of just myself?? I'm from a farm about 4 hrs west of Sydney. I'm really laid back and always up for a beer, a surf or adventure somewhere! I'm very musical and my guitar is one of my most loved past times. I work 8-5 Monday to Friday in the city. Each day I have either rugby or gym so I won't be back home till roughly 8:30 each night. Saturday nights I like to definitely let off some steam but in saying that I'm always respectful of the people I'm living with. Nonetheless I'm super chill and easy to get along with :) Looking for a long term setup either renting a room or teaming up and getting a place. If you want to know more, just shoot me a message :)

Hi there!! I am a hard working, fun loving, down to earth Personal Trainer looking for the right home to share with someone like minded :) I work full time at F45 in North Sydney which means early rises (4:30am - don't worry I'm quiet as a mouse) and sometimes late finishes (8:30pm) although i do have a nice balanced schedule. This lifestyle means i am a bit of a home body during the week enjoying down time when i am home and in my free time i like to spend with family and friends (of which hopefully you will become one). I am very active and always up for an adventure (i am about to set off to do an 88km hike in Tasmania) but also love to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and good food with good company :) I am neat and appreciate that the home is a place that is stress free and an enjoyable environment to be in and would like to find someone that shares that view and respects their home. There is lots more to me, so looking forward to finding my next home and sharing that with you! Jess :)
Hi, I'm Megan! I'm a 23-year-old looking for some reasonably long-term accommodation so I can stay in Sydney (originally from Perth). I work full-time at an advertising agency, and when I get home from work I like to relax with a book or the TV. Happy to be social with you (although not exactly a party person) or give you space if you need it. Keen to get out and explore Sydney a little more on the weekends. Quiet, easy-going and neat. I don't have any pets but would be more than happy if you do!

Hey there, Im 21 and work in hospitality. Im tidy, easy going and respectful. I enjoy adventuring, photography and food. Hoping to find something long term but would be happy with anything short term too :)
Unless there's a lot of noise on a weeknight before we have to work, then not much really bothers us. we clean up after ourselves and respect peoples privacy.
We are looking to get involved in all the delights Australia has to offer! We have recently moved here from London and are looking for fun, social, creative people to share a home :) Very happy to buddy up with someone...it seems to be easier to find 2 bedroom places!
I'm from Alaska, have been living in Sydney for over 4 years. Love the beach lifestyle and being social and active. I'm a decent cook and am happy to share, I enjoy a little daily debrief with a beer or a vino and occasionally hanging out. I consider myself tidy and a damn good baker. I work 7-5 Mon-Thur in North Sydney and I'm fairly active so I'm in and out of home but also enjoy my home relax time. Anything else just ask!
I have a passion for: Coffee, (lots of!) delicious healthy food, having my workout at the beach/outdoors, all outdoor activities, reading technical and interesting literature/ having a chat about business/psychology/fitness/nutrition/coaching/life/........, watching movies, spending time with friends, going out for a brekki/lunch/dinner, spending time with myself and my work. I am very outgoing, love to listen, easy going and tidy. I am a german sun and nature lover who wants to settle down in Sydney, Manly. I love the lifestyle here and I'm looking for one, two three... like-minded professionals to live with. Happy to hear from you!
I'm currently offering my services as an awesome flatmate. Are you looking for someone who knows how to human, respect your boundaries and personal space. Someone who is the flat mate chameleon, available for a cheeky beverage when necessary but also can disappear at those times you need your you time. Then look no further! A bit about me so you know I'm not a serial killer (I'm told it happens). I'm 26 and I work full time in hospitality and advertising. I'm currently working with Huberts so....potential discounts at all the best bars. I have all the hobbies. I used to sing professionally but now it's all about that salsa and learning spanish. I'm quite busy with friends and work so I'm usually out of the house but I like having an awesome home environment to come back to. I'm moving because whilst I love where I'm at I want somewhere that's more central and closer to where I work. How friends have described me: Hugh Jackman: 'Jordan Hunt is the best human being alive' Bill Gates: 'Man to watch for 2020' Ghandi: 'Would friend on facebook' But in all seriousness. I'm looking for some awesome flat mates who know how to human and have a great vibe. I figure that if you have a bit of social acuity all the other stuff like respecting personal space, cleaning after yourself, communicating, etc, all come pretty naturally. For me, I want to live in an awesome place because it makes a huge difference. Don't hesitate to shoot me a message if you feel like this is something that could work.
Two english friends who have Just finished travelling the world, ready to start our next big adventure living and working in sydney. (Ryan is a chef and Hayley works in childcare) we love to play a bit of english football, chill out at the beach with a nice cold beer and of corse we love to travel and meet new people. We are very tidy and want to be working a lot to save for our next trip so won't be in the house very much during the week. Very up for a few nights out though!
Friendly, easy-going, tidy and respectable. Originally from the North of England and recently made the move to Sydney working full-time in digital marketing in CBD. Currently living in Manly but totally open to moving more into the city too. Likes: spending time with friends, being outdoors and keeping fit (running, barre, Pilates), watching sport, travel, all kinds of music, bad jokes, Louis Theroux documentaries balanced out with a bit of trash TV, good food and a good G&T or espresso martini. Looking to live with likeminded girls and guys who are social, like to have a laugh and can catch up over dinner or a drink but also appreciate me-time and respect each other's space too.
I'm 31 and work full-time as a Professional. I'm easy-going and sociable - always up for a chat or a beer/wine but also respect personal space. Fairly quiet during the week with work and generally spend weekends catching up with friends / family.
To all prospective housemates! Me and my better half are moving to sydney for a couple of years. Louise works in research and I am a Youth worker. We are moving over in June and are looking for a home. We dont mind covering more rent as we will be sharing a room. We both are quite career driven so aren't looking for a mad student house but at the same time we do like to drink on the weekend and every weekday. For all of you who are concerned that living with a couple can be risky, not to worry, for some strange reason we don't argue but not in a creepy way like those couples who claim to best friends. Sam and louise
I'm a Brazilian working as Nanny in part time and studing Managment. I'm organized, easegoing and love plants. My partner Lee, is a Irish guy who works as electrician. I'm a 25 year old looking for a new place to call home. I work full time for an education technology company based in Mosman - I work long hours and when I'm not working I'm generally catching up with friends. I'm looking for a nice quiet, clean home I can relaxing in. I love having 'family dinners' and a glass of wine with flat mates when it works, but very happy to do my own thing. I travel a bit for work and to see my family, so come and go a bit. Usually only away for a couple of days at a time. I have a car, so a parking space or reliable street parking is a must.
I am very easy going person .. Being clean and tidy is very important for me .. I am full time working and don't spend much time at home but I sometime like to watch movie and chill at home .. Quiet and nice ..

We are a professional couple from Newcastle (Luke an Engineer and Lauren a Dental Nurse) who start work 06/02/17 in North Sydney and would like to live somewhere that is within a one hour commute via public transport to North Sydney. We are a fairly chilled out couple who enjoy going to the beach, watching movies/.tv shows and travelling. We currently have a small cat that we would love to be able to bring to Sydney with us, but can make other arrangements for her if required. We would like to have somewhere to park our car (street is fine). We have most of our own furniture/appliances (bed, fridge, washing machine, kitchen appliances). Our preferred budget is less than $500 per week and we are looking to share for 6-12 months.
Returning to Sydney after a year of living off the land out in country NSW... maybe not that extreme, but coming back to the city and starting the search for roof over my head :) I'm pretty relaxed and easy to get along with, can be fairly quiet and focused on either work or study, but if I'm in a bit of an energetic mood it's either out scuba diving or catching up with friends (so not making any big ruckus at home) Can be a decent cook when the mood strikes, enjoy a quiet catch-up amongst friends and have been known to binge on Netflix from time to time. I'm not really locked into looking for anything too specific - I'm pretty open to options, though I do have some ideals/preferences in what I'm looking for: * A self-contained studio/apartment/granny flat - I do enjoy my own space, but maybe wishful thinking * Close to public transport - as long as there is an easy route to get to Central, I don't mind a longer train trip * Close to the water - I tend to dive a lot around Cronulla and Botany, so this is a bit of a nice-to-have * Own bathroom - would definitely be a perk There are only 2 points that a critical for me: * Private room * The ability for friends to visit and hang out - I'm not a party-person, but I have noticed some listings that indicate visitors are not welcome at all - I'd like to be part of a home, not a ward. All that said, I'm pretty open to all possibilities :) I'm interested in a long-term home more than a short-term stay, but I'm open to options.
Hello everyone, my name is Britta, I am 26 years old and from Germany. I am about to start working as a legal assistant at a lawyers office in Sydney. My hobbies are Photography, Yoga and Hiking and I have been in Australia already 10 months in total now. I love the Sea, Sydney itself and I love to cook. I am looking for like minded people to have a great time with and who respect privacy at the same time.
