Basic info: Moved to Melbz from NZ (Dunedin) in January. - I'm working full time as a software developer (i.e. am financially stable). - Relatively tidy (at least in the sense of not leaving dishes in the sink) - Non smoker. - Mostly know how to cook and willing to make you food sometimes if you want. - I'm somewhat of an ambivert - I like being friendly and drinking and having a laugh sometimes but also need downtime, often work late, and sometimes go out. So I'm looking for people that are friendly but also who won't be offended if I keep to myself sometimes. Looking for (aside from the obvious stuff of nice people): - A non smoking place (including on balconies and including any visitors) - Somewhere in the right location - need to be within 45 minutes *walking* (~4km) to both the cbd AND to my workplace (just south of fawkner park on St Kilda road) As a general rule it isn't worth contacting me if the place doesn't meet those requirements. The one possible exception is if there is a formal lease that would allow me to leave by giving notice (i.e. periodic) - I could compromise a bit on location as it could still be a good idea as a stopgap measure (I'm currently doing this in a place I can leave with notice because there isn't a written lease at all, but also starting to realize this looks a bit dodgy on other rental applications - so could consider a non ideal move as a temporary measure to build up a more formal rental history)
Hi there! I’m Tam - a 25 year old PhD student/lecturer that loves to keep fit. Love staying in and watching a movie or hanging out with friends. Would love to have a housemate that is more like a friend; nothing worse than not connecting with someone that you’re living with, doesn’t feel very home-y.
Hello! I moved to Melbourne last year (from London) to play rugby, and learn more about the wine industry. I’ve just finished working Vintage at a winery in the Yarra valley, and now would like to move back to the city. I’m a pretty chilled guy that loves exercise and good eating! I love to be social and go out for drinks, but also very content on the sofa for a film night. I have rugby training every Tuesday and Thursday nights, and playing matches on Saturdays. Speak soon 😊
I am Darooj, 25-year-old student at RMIT University and recently graduated 😎. full -time job: barista at flinder station and a retail job at mcg, Marvel stadium and Melbourne Olympic Park. Netflix, food, and adventure is my favorite hobby. Trying to gain weight because people think I am 19year old but that’s not true😂. I am super friendly 🙂 and funny😆 Looking for long term, more than 2 years.
I am looking for a clean place with good people I can bond with. I like partying, exploring new places and trying new things. But I also like some space sometimes. I am a good listener and a kind person.
I'm a 19 years-old french student who is going to live in Melbourne for one year, as an exchange student in Monash University. I'm kind and tidy, and I'd love to find a place with people who share the same interests (nature, travel, art) to call it home !
Hello! My name is Kate and I’m a 30 year old HR professional working in the city – mostly 9 – 6pm. I’ve been living in Ripponlea (near Elsternwick) for the past 5 years but I’m keen for a change of scenery. I really like Richmond as an area and I often tend to end up there if I’m out for a few drinks on the weekend – so it feels like it would make sense to live there! (Or somewhere close by). I love making the most of Melbourne life; whether it be trying out a new restaurant, going to the beach, catching up with friends over wine and cheese…the list goes on! Equally, I like getting out of Melbourne and going on an adventure every now and then as well! During the week, I might catch up with friends after work once or twice a week and spend the other nights at home chilling, cooking and watching some trashy TV (sorry, MAFS tragic right here!). I am by no means a ‘gym junkie’ but I do my best to stay active – doing personal training and pilates a few times throughout the week. On the weekends I am usually pretty busy catching up with friends and doing all of the fun Melbourne things! I am looking to find a home with a housemate who is easygoing, considerate, clean….and fun of course! Having lived with a few housemates over the last few years, I’m now hoping to live with just one other person. I guess I’d like to live somewhere that’s quite relaxed and peaceful without too many people coming and going. Whilst I do love a drink and a dance on the weekend, I’m not looking for a party house… but it would be great to find someone who is happy to hang out over dinner/a few drinks from time to time! :)
Hi, i work as a receptionist for a periodontal clinic in the CBD. I'm easy going, very tidy, clean, pay bills on time. I look forward to living with someone who enjoys sharing the odd dinner and glass of wine. I'm social but also like time to myself and am looking for a peaceful household environment. I enjoy going out to see live gigs, getting out in nature for hikes, overseas travel and catching up with friends.
We are good friends traveling together since a while. We are both from germany working in hospitality and we love to dance have fun. We are tidy and organized and looking for a cosy home with good mates ASAP.
Hey I’m Tarryn, I’m 24 and am relocating from Sydney to Melbourne for work. I am looking to move in with cool easy going people that can show me around Melbourne. I’ve lived in share houses for the last 4 years. I’m clean and tidy and I am respectful of people and their space. I’m quite sociable, I enjoy a laugh and the occasional drink or two. I’m into health and fitness and I love to cook although I also enjoy eating out now and then. I am hoping to live with like minded people who can be friends as well as great housemates!
Im a fulltime student at monash studying music performance. I also play in a soccer team, enjoy cooking (and eating), gardening and painting. I have a busy schedule so Im not home much, but when I am I like to wind down with good company! Looking for a clean, safe place to call home :)
Hello! Originally from New Zealand and now in Melbourne since February. Im a Visual Merchandiser and working in retail in the CBD and studying Project Management on the side. Lover of great coffee (thank goodness I live in Melbourne!), brunch, dogs, snowboarding, reading, hiking, museums, art galleries and all things fitness and health related! You'll catch me dashing off to a yoga/pilates/circuit/boxing etc. class daily! non-drinker, non-smoker, non-party goer - looking for a clean and tidy place to relax and call home with like-minded respectful and considerate individuals. Would love somewhere that offers a pool and gym, but not essential :) Hope to hear from you if you have what I'm looking for! Thank you.
We are good friends travelling together since a while. We are both from Germany working in hospitality and we both love to dance ! Merisha is the best cook I know. Natascha is a funny Energie ball. We both love to get to know new people and go on some drinks.
Hi, I'm a 32 y/o gay PhD student looking for somewhere long term to share. I'm due to graduate at the end of 2019 and am hoping to work at a university. I love to cycle and use it as my main method of transport. I am naturally quiet, but like socialising from time to time. Whilst I'm not a partyer, I'm not averse to housemates having friends over for BBQs or the like. I have a neuromuscular disorder, which means that I sometimes tire easily. The upside to this is that I get subsidised cleaning every fortnight, 17.5% off the electricity bill and concessions for other utilities. I don't have a pet, but I do love cats.
Hello ! We are 2 friends from Belgium coming for the first time in Australia. We are looking for a nice flat to share with nice people. We are respectful and tidy and we love to meet new people. We are always ready to have a drink or party but we also love to have chill time and movie nights.
Young professional moving down under, previously worked in sports technology travelling the world watching a lot of tennis. Enjoy watching sport, going out for drinks and good food! Looking for a house from the start of May.
G'day! I'm an easygoing, mid-20’s Swede who’s all about Melbourne and the Aussie culture. I work at the new Woolies in North Melbourne, and as I'm in the deli I know how to keep things neat and tidy. I keep my stuff organised and I don't need a lot of space or make any fuzz. I like to stay active; I play ultimate frisbee (yes, that’s a thing) and work out with a team a few times a week. I'm not a huge sports fanatic, but I’m developing an interest for footy and the local sports culture (yeah the Tigers!). In my off time I enjoy chilling on the laptop and perhaps an occasional froff or two. At the moment I live in a flatshare in Caulfield, but I'm looking into moving closer to the city. Preferrably in or around Richmond. You can reach me here or on 0490822526. Please give me a shout and also let me know if there's anything else that you need to know. I'm looking forward to hearing from you! :)
Hey we have just arrived in Melbourne and are looking for somewhere to live. I work as a waitress and Laura works as a chef. We are both very chilled out people, we love going out for food and the odd drink :)
Hi. Work in hospitality. Lived in Melbourne for 2 years. Originally from Brasil I came to Melbourne to study project management. I work as a Bar Manager in Flemington. Looking for a quiet, relaxing and friendly place to live, with either males or females. I am a very easy going and social person who loves to chill and cook at home and also to go out, I'm up for everything. I am tidy and responsible. Love to hear from you.
From North London over here on a working holiday visa and just finding my feet but I am in need of a place to stay. Looking for a friendly environment in or around Melbourne, I'm easy going and respectful of others. I'm also very clean and tidy and am more than willing to help out where I can with anything. Up for going out for a beer whenever I can and love seeing and going to new places.
Hello! I am currently in Perth and looking to make the move back to Melbourne. I am 25 going on 26. I am a very tidy, respectful, friendly, easy-going person who loves socialising, live music, the ocean, exploring the outdoors, going out to bars, pilates, and watching live sport (especially a rare West Coast appearance at the G). I would love to find a place with other respectful and sociable people who share the same interests and values, know how to clean up after themselves, and can also become a friend, not just someone to share a house with. Anywhere in Richmond or Fitzroy/Carlton North area :) I also have a car so will need a space to park - street is fine!
My name is Richard and I am a chef from Perth. I've been over here for about 2 years now but am looking to find somewhere new to move. I work a lot so I guess a great thing about me as a housemate is that sometimes you might not see me for most of the week! I'm respectful of privacy (but keen for the occasional dinner/ drinks) and property and already come fully house trained
Heya people, we are Mark and Irene (Looking from the 26th April) I'm a chill friendly guy from Adelaide who has worked all over the world. Looking for a place with my girlfriend Irene (31 who is spanish, so it's pronounced Irrrrrreeeennné) She is lovely, well traveled, always laughing and pretending i'm funny.
