Originally from London but in Melbourne on a working holiday visa. I'm sociable, but not looking for a party house. Tidy and always clean up after myself (no dishes left in the sink for days on end!) After spending 4 months in hostel dorms I'm looking forward to having somewhere I can make feel like home. I've just started working on an ongoing contract basis so am looking for somewhere to live for minimum of 3 months, although hopefully if the job goes well it could be up to 6 months. Ideally a furnished room, although not a deal breaker if not (although I may need some help putting the furniture together!) Would consider increasing budget to $300pw if it includes all bills and wifi. If you think you have something that might interest me please let me know. My moving in date could be flexible. Thanks Yvonne
Originally from Syd (don't hold that against me) and have been in Melbourne for the last few years Work full time in sports media and digital. Social like all the normal stuff stay active, like to cook good food just as much as going out. Looking for an easy house with a good vibe
I am Diego, 30 yo, working full time in customer service for a transport company. I am a friendly and easy going person, like to keep spaces clean and tidy. Like to chat and also very respectful of people's privacy and their own alone time. Hello! :) I've recently moved back to Melbourne and crashing at a mates place at the moment. I am looking for a big room with wooden floors, plenty of light, a washing machine and wifi! :) Not in the city but not too far so I can get to work easy. I'm easy with rent ! Happy to negotiate. I'm down to earth easy going girl but I do hate mess and bad smells so clean people would be my first preference. I am very respectful of others and privacy, I don't party and I don't have people over so I'd appreciate living with people who aren't loud and disrespectful of my privacy. I don't drink or do drugs or smoke, maybe if you're having a beer I'll have one with you but overall I like to look after my health and the smell of smoke is a pet hate of mine. I am looking to trial a couple of months, if I feel comfortable I'll stay a couple of years. I want to buy a small pet also not a huge responsibility or anything that would be in your way but a rabbit or kitten for myself would be extra amazing! :) hope to hear from you soon! I am free for inspections all week excluding the weekend when I work! :) Cheers!
Hiya Roomies to be! I'm a 19 year old girl from Denmark on a Working Holiday Visa. I've spend 1,5 month in Melbourne so far (6 months in Australia in total) and absolutely love the city, but I have not quite found the "Australian" family (you guys) I've been looking for. So why am I your new amazing roomie? - I work full time so I am going to be able both to pay rent and toilet paper, haha ;-) - I love having a good time that's why I became a bartender. - I'm respectful and expect the same in return. - I'm sarcastic and fun to be around. Looking forward to meet you guys! Cheers Bella

Hi, my name is Fiona and I'm a 24 year old law and commerce graduate from Brisbane. I have just moved down to Melbourne for full time work in an accounting firm and I am looking to move into a place in the next month or two. Hey I'm 25, looking for a chilled and sociable place to live, ideally long term. I work full time but definitely like to make the most of my days off and it would be great to find some house mates who like to hang out occasionally/have dinner or drinks together. Of course considerate of other peoples space and pull my weight with cleaning etc. I'm pretty artistic, really in to music and love going to festivals, travelling and exploring the delights of Melbourne i.e drinking too much coffee, going to galleries, chilling in the park, beaching etc. x
32 yo IT finance consultant. I'm fairly relaxed, very busy with work, hobbies and socializing and looking for a quiet place to come home to for some downtime. Looking for a place for 5-6 months or more in the south yarra, prahran area.
Hello! I work in hospitality and I've just moved to Melbourne. I've lived in Sydney all of my adult life in shared housing situations, so I'm pretty chill and considerate of other people's needs. I prefer living in a place where the occupants are happy to mingle and socialise, especially over drinks and/or food. I enjoy cooking at home, and will be bringing a bunch of cool kitchen toys with me! At other times I run fairly regularly for exercise, or play video games on the computer. My work hours will likely be late. I do my best to keep things quiet when I come home late and have never had complaints from the other 9-5ers I've lived with. I don’t have a pet but love animals, so I’m happy to feed or walk/exercise your pets. I’m looking for a long-term home (6 months or more) and would like to move in sooner rather than later, but I'm fairly flexible.
I'm a recent uni grad who is moving down from Brisbane to Melbourne to start full time work. I'll be busy during the week but that allows me to be extremely reliable with rent and up to exploring what Melbourne has to offer on the weekend! I'm clean, easy going and respectful of others' space. I've had great experiences share housing before and appreciate people who are up for a chat, love food as much as I do and bring positive energy. Please get in touch to ask me any questions :)
Hi, we are two english girls nearly half way through our second year of living in Australia. We are both full time workers - Kate works in an office on reception and Sophie is a hairdresser. We are very clean, tidy and respectful housemates. With both of us working full time it would be nice to have a clean house to come home to and be able to relax after a long day. We enjoy the gym, going out for food and exploring different and new places. It would be amazing to live with people of the same nature :) If you like the sound of us then please get in touch! Kate and Sophie.
25 years old, working full time in marketing. Pretty chill dude, don't have any weird dietary requirements or political views. Would be great to find some peeps that enjoy a beer, but also respect a bit of privacy. Give me a buzz and let's have a chat!
- Happy to become a part of the family or hide under the staircase Harry Potter style and do my own thing. - 25 y/o from the vast lands of Canada, working in hospitality - raised by a cleaner, so I tend to clean in my spare time - like to cook large batches and enjoy taste testers of my experiments; I make a mean roast - I make a meaner G&T - more than happy to crack a bottle of wine and hang out as a household - Ex-Financier so I pay on time; a Lannister always pays his debts - Reading, running, diving, soccer, travels, long chats fueled by point #4; I’m easy going and open minded to debates and opinions - Board games are my jam; they ruin and strength all friendships. Overall, just a laid back guy looking to enjoy Melbourne and join a household!
**I'm not moving to Melbourne until July. Please don't message me unless your place is going to be available in July** I'm an Aussie girl from Perth looking to relocate to Melbourne in late June/ first week of July. Interested in a private furnished room with plenty of wardrobe space (I am a girl after all lol!), prefer not to have to share a bathroom if possible, somewhere neat & tidy, close to the city and public transport. I'm friendly, reliable & sociable & currently work in the travel industry, so yeah I can hook you up with a great deal for your holidays ;)
I'm going to Melbourne to study english. I'm 24. I would like to live near to the city, and have the opportunity to meet diferent cultures and this great city. I like sports, listening to music, and any fun activity!
I am a pretty chilled person, am happy to keep to myself or get involved in house happenings. I currently run my own business from home (so a large room or an extra office space is important) and casually work at a flotation centre and as a Reiki therapist. I'm not a big party animal but I do like a few wines on the weekend and checking out gigs. I am a big fan of tasty food, nature and having interesting/intellectual chats. Not the best at talking about myself but if you would like to know more just message me :) What I am looking for in future house mates: - good communication when it comes to house stuff - positive in thinking - good sense of humor - clean & tidy - social but also enjoy their own down time
Hi mates, We are a French couple, easygoing, tidy and very clean. Non-smoker and discreet, we are happy to meet and share with new people with a glass of wine. My name is Michael, I am a 23 year old coffee professional from Perth and moving to Melbourne at the beginning of March. I am starting a job as a coffee trainer for an awesome company in Collingwood and will be working 5-6 days per week. I enjoy coming home to relax with a tasty beer or wine, some good conversation and a movie. Hi everyone!! I am an Italian student who's going to study Design at Monash Uni - Caulfield Campus for the 1st semester. I'm really respectful, clean and tidy and I do respect privacy. I had been working as an aupair in Sydney for 6 months so I do not mind cleaning or cooking for my flatmates. I am a really outgoing and openminded person: I like to socialize, have fun, go out for a drink or for a live concert. I love any field of art and I am always excited for organizing trips during the weekend. Although I am still focused on studying, I really want to take the chance to explore Melbourne. I would like to personally see the place before paying deposit. I'll be in Melbourne from the 13th of Feb so we can arrange an inspection!
I'm a 28 year old professional working in the CBD. Both my previous housemates recently found their dream gigs overseas, so looking for a new pad with some all-round great people. Friendly and easy-going. Pull my weight around the house but not OCD. Prefer housemates who are up for a chat and going out every now and then, but have my own life and totally get it if you like spending nights in and doing your own thing too. Bonus points if you're up for a hit of tennis. Have lived in Melbourne most of my life and have met / shared with a few awesome people over the years. Hoping to continue the trend!
I'm a 26 year old female moving down from Sydney for work. I I love coffee, food and wine and definitely spend too much money on them! Beyond that I like sports, travel, reading, binge watching shit TV etc! Although I'm very outgoing I also balance this with my own time. I'm a clean tidy and respectful housemate.
Hi, I'm Asher. I'm doing an honours year in psychology at Swinburne, after 4 years working as an engineer. I've been in sharehouses for 7 years now, so I'm reliable, considerate and open. I've just returned from a working holiday in South America, and I'm looking for a house where everyone is equal and looks out for each other. In my spare time, I enjoy 5 rhythms dancing, going to gigs, travelling out of the city, acting and cooking.
Hey there, I’m Caitlin - a funky intelligent, fun, 36 yrs young professional. I'm looking for nice people to share with either in an existing house or a new share house. Ideally I'd like to live with people that share the same values, who don’t mind having a meal, a chat, and hanging out but who are equally respectful of our mutual space and privacy. I’m clean and courteous but not obsessive - I make sure shared spaces are there for all to appreciate. Some of the things I love; cooking, wine, reading, gym, wellbeing and generally having a good time. Not a party animal, but do like to have fun and socialise – ‘work hard play hard’ as they say. If you are fun, enjoy a laugh, and are interested in creating an all-round great space to live, then we would probably be a good fit. Must enjoy a good wine and a good laugh :0
Hi! I am a 28 y/o Swedish girl who just returned to Melbourne to study communication design at Billy blue college. Lived in Melbourne for a year before this when I was on my working holiday visa. That was my first experience of a shared home and I'd say I like the concept. I am a very outgoing and social person but I also value my own down time. When it comes to common areas I'm super clean, yet not OCD about anything. I'm looking for my own room in a shared apartment somewhere in the city or closest suburbs. Unfortunately I'm a tad allergic to cats and dogs. Like I mentioned I'm a very social person so I like having people around me. There for it would be awesome to be able to have friends over for a taco night or a beer sometime which you can join ofcourse! I'll be studying full time and work, as an in home kitchen planner, on the weekends and some extra hours during the week. Have got a huge interest for home decoration, love music, cooking and running. On the weekend you'll find me spending time with friends and working ofcourse. /Hillevi Ps. I'm sure my former housemate is ok with answering any questions you might have about me as a housemate.

My name is Micaela, I am 25years old and have just been given an exciting design role on chapel street :) I start on the 20th of March but am really keen to find a place so would be able to move in end of feb/beginning of march (basically flexible for when suits) and am also interested in team ups to take on a new lease! I spent two years travelling/living overseas for work after uni and have been located in Geelong for the past few years for work. I am really passionate about art and design and generally love mixing with other creatives; no matter the field. I like to get out and socialise when possible but by no means am a party girl, I enjoy my downtime and quiet during the week. I like to think I am tidy and respectful of others, having lived in share houses before!
Hi there, I am 26 years old, I've been living in Melbourne for 5 years now. Student in management and waiter in a cafe during the week, I am also a bartender during the weekend. Easy going, I like to chat & share, I also enjoy my own space. Love to party but never at home, always outside :) Feel free to ask me anything that you would like to know about me !
I am 24 years old here on a working holiday visa from Minnesota, USA. I am currently working full time in South Melbourne. I am a super dependable and tidy individual who is very respectful of other people's space and possessions! I am a very happy person who is more than willing to have a cocktail at the end of the day and socialize or be independent and do my own thing.
I currently live in a one bedroom place in Sth Yarra, but they're building a huge tower next to my balcony, so i think it's time for a move! I'm 30, single, work full time in the city, and pretty busy with work. I love catching up with friends, being social, having a few drinks and getting out and about on weekends. I also love being a bit healthy during the week - cooking, keeping fit and active, and i travel whenever i can. I'm bubbly, friendly and an easy going and respectful person to live with. I'm currently on a month to month lease in my place, so flexible on move in date, just need to provide 30 days notice. Cheers, Michelle
Dear future flatmate(s), We're two guys travelling together for a couple of months and decided to settle in Melbourne for a while. We're both working in hospitality and love to explore unknown places, so we're rarely home. You would live with: Gonçalo, 26, from Portugal. Very calm and always with a book in his bag, he likes to have his space during the week as much as grab some drinks during weekends. After years working in finance, he realized how boring working in big corporations was for him. So he quit and he's now making burritos in Melbourne and wondering what's the most interesting job there is for him on this planet. Extremely clean, he never fails bothering Alex when a sock or anything else is on the floor. Alex, 21, from France. Very chilled and also always with a book within reach, he likes being alone when needed but loves going to the theatre, cinema, or anywhere during the week, as long as he can sleep 7 hours. He finished his bachelor in Cultural Anthropology in Canada last year, and decided to travel for a while before studying Human Rights in Paris. He is now a Barista in a cool café, and loves to cook as much as he can, something Gonçalo enjoys quite a lot. Feel free to contact us if you have any question! Cheers, Alex and Gonçalo
What'd up fellow Melbournians ✌. My name is Tom or Thomas whichever you prefer. I've recently moved to the lovely, lively, fun, exciting, restless city of Melbourne in March last year (approx. 11 months ago). I am a graduate of a double in construction management and economics with honours from UNISA (Adelaide) and have recently landed myself a full-time (8am-5pm Mon-Fri) Assistant Project Manager gig in Hawthorn East. I have been living with 2 female housemates in Hawthorn, Victoria for 11 months now. But alas it is time for me to move onto somewhere new. I'm a kind, friendly, sociable, active, out going, easy to get along with, respectful, caring dude who works full time, plays volleyball and likes to ride his fixie whenever possible. I am clean and don't like mess or clutter. I don't smoke but don't mind if you do. I am very hospitable and flexible/considerate of others whenever possible. I am happy to do house dinners if that's your thing. I tend to lead a busy life with F/T work and sporting commitments so cook for myself most nights. I will most likely be out and about from Friday onwards and home during weeknights. I am always good for rent and expenses and have never missed a payment. I am currently paying $210/week, $912/month in rent alone (not including bills, water, gas, electricity etc). And am NOT on the lease or bond authority, so can move quickly (but am more than happy to provide proof of past rent, bond and expenses payments etc). What I'm looking for: - An Unfurnished Room - Budget of around $210/week - Need to move out at the end of March. - **Parking is a must** - Somewhere close to the city and my work (Hawthorn East). - One, two, three or four bedroom houses/apartments or a grannyflat. - I do not require a nice view. - I'm pet friendly and LGBT is fine too. If you have any questions please let me know via PM 😊. Thanks!
I'm a very easy going approachable and trustworthy person. I moved to Melbourne 18 months ago to start a job in Marketing after being brought up in Albury. I like to keep a clean and tidy household and be respectful of my house mates in regards to noise and general living. I work in Marketing Monday to Friday and keep very active and busy during the weeks. When i'm not working I love a drink and to socialise however i'm not the person to constantly bring people back and party all night.
Hey! I'm a 27 year old professional (scientist) looking for a place in the Richmond/Hawthorn area - either by joining an established place or teaming up with people/s. Lover of brunch, good chai/iced coffee, AFL (swans), netflix, road trips, netball and other such things. I'm originally from Tassie but been in melb 4 or so years now. I work full time shift work which includes stints of night shifts and weekend work. I prefer to head out with friends for dinner/drinks on my days off rather than partying it up these days. Love a good bbq, picnic or sunday sesh on occasion. Looking for similar people who are working full time (bonus if it's shift work), clean and tidy in shared areas and respectful of peoples space/things/work schedules...the usual things you want in a housemate. Definitely happy to share a meal or drink or generally just hang out but also happy to do my own thing. I have a car so would be looking at finding a place with off street parking of some kind.
