Hi there! I'm Mike (31) working professional, relocating from Sydney where I've had flatmates or hosted friends in times of need. With the relocation, I'm looking to enjoy a social element with those I live with as I know only a few people in Melbourne. And very much looking forward to exploring the 'culture capital'. I am a people person, but respectful of others privacy and property. Enjoy sports, fitness and well-being activities, biz meet ups, and spending time on some side projects as well. I'm clean, houseproud, reliable, out going and independent. Will be in Melbourne every couple of weeks prior to the move, so I'm also happy to catch up and ensure the fit is right for the housemate(s).
Hey we are Josh (left) & Zach (right), I (Josh) have just moved back to Australia where I spent 2 years and met my bf Zach. I'm now doing an apprenticeship in barbering, Zach has just landed in Australia as of the last week. It’s his turn to come explore our country. We are clean and respectful housemates who enjoy cooking, movies, ps4, and outdoor adventures.
I will be moving from the country (3.5 hours from melb) I am moving as i have been accepted into uni and need a place I am looking to be directly in the CBD I am social, quiet, not a party animal, i love a drink here and there and i am clean. I love to be organised. I am so excited to meet new people And i would prefer a room to myself, just as i like my privacy :) Thank you!
I am a 26 year old male full-time worker in the Finance industry. I work in Private Wealth and am based in the CBD. I don't mind hanging out with friends/room mates during the week and always up for a chat or hang out. I'm very easy-going, however at the same time I like to relax and respect others personal spaces. I'm usually flat out with work during the week and catching up with sleep. I'm definitely not a loud person. I have many years of experience living with others from all sorts of cultural backgrounds and know how to respect other peoples space. I enjoy watching/playing sports, going to the gym, spending time with friends, trying out new restaurants/bars, sometimes i even like to simply chill out and play video games. I am tolerable and get along with everyone from all different kinds of backgrounds. PLUS i can cook ; )
I am a socially outgoing 23 year old with a rental history for 2.5 years in Melbourne. I tend to make conversations easier but also respect personal space. I am employed at Coles and also work as a teaching assistant.
Canadian girl living in Australia for her second year on a WHV. Big fan of the US version of the Office, eggs benny and spotting cute dogs in public. Cringy sense of humour, take too long to get ready, bad habit of turning a quick answer into a long story, but also a strong believer that honesty is the best policy. I'm currently working full time in Canterbury and am hoping to find somewhere within a 30 minute commute to the Canterbury train station. I'm looking for somewhere clean and within my budget and do appreciate some alone time, but also enjoy being social and would like a place that feels more less like a rented bed and more like a home :)
Hey! My name is Daniel, I am a 25-year-old product designer from Spain. who likes practice sports, prepare delicious meals (spanish food, as tortilla, calamari, paella or Sangria), dance and tidy. I’m into photography, gym, dance, hiking, and exploring new places. Chocolate lover. I’m social and friendly, but respects privacy when needed. I’m also clean and tidy around the house. I’m gay, so the house would have to be LGBT friendly. Looking for housemates that I can be friends with rather than people I live with. I have been in Melbourne for 9 months and I am happy to extend my visa next year, so I just want to find a house where we can make our home. Don't hesitate and message me!
We are two relaxed and kind persons looking for a nice coexistence with our flatmates. We respect the comun areas and the cleanliness of every place. We don't have pets but they don't bother us ^^
Hi flatmates! I'm a 26 year old moving from the Gold Coast to Melbourne for a new job in the city. I’m a clean, considerate and social housemate, looking for a place to call home. I'm respectful of personal space, but more than happy to share a meal or a glass of wine. I enjoy an active lifestyle and am hoping to keep busy during the week. During my weekends, I'm hoping to explore everything that Melbourne and its surroundings have to offer. If I sound like a good fit, send me a message and we can chat further!
Hello everyone! I am a friendly guy from Madrid, Spain on a working holiday visa so I am just looking for a cool place to stay for a couple months in Melbourne. About me: easygoing, openminded, organized and clean. I'm a guy who loves outdoors but i'm always down to hang out for drinks and party! Looking for a single room but also don't mind sharing a room so let me know if you are interested! :)
I'm a clean and organised person, however I wont be forcing it upon you. I'm studying nursing at the moment while working at the Alfred hospital in their linen department. I like to have cheeky drinks every now and then and am happy to head out on the town, but more than happy to have quiet nights in. I don't really have any friends in Melbourne, so you wont have to worry about me bringing people over when you just want to be alone. that being said, it would be great to make some friends with potential housemates.
Hey I'm Robyn! I'm chilled out, easy going and always up for a laugh! I'm 29, I’ve been living in Melbourne for 18 months and now call it my home. I’ve been in a great sharehouse since January, one of our housemates has bought a house so we’re looking to move out separately. I’m ideally looking to stay in a similar area around Swan St or Bridge road with good access (walking distance) to a station (Richmond/Burnley/East or West Richmond) as I work in the city. I only own a few things; bed, side table, sofa and bicycle so can look at an unfurnished or part furnished bedroom. Ideally looking to move in around November 10th but can be slightly flexible. I'm always up for fun and trying new things. About me: I love dancing and going to the gym! I love finding new brunch spots and exploring new places! I enjoy living a healthy and active lifestyle I also love discovering new music, road trips, the occaiosnal night out but also a netflix session. I get on with pretty much anyone in any situation and have a lot of banter which is mostly sarcastic. Oh also I'm obsessed with dogs...so if you happen to have one it’s a bonus for me and I will happily walk it!! If I sound someone you'd get along with please drop me a message. Hope to hear from you soon :)
I'm Canadian, and I've been living in Melbourne for 4 years. Professionally, I work full time for a software company with a few side projects on the go. Generally I split my time 50/50 working from home and the office - so I won't get in the way of other activities in the house. But that being said, I do need a house that is relatively peaceful. I enjoy a nice dinner party and sharing a bottle of wine. I'm an early morning person and try to be home by early afternoon to relax when the day allows. I like to cook when I have the time (and happy to cook for you too), so a good kitchen would be great. I also do a little travel and some photography in my spare time. Looking for a house/flat share, preferably with only 1 other person, and preferably a working professional. I'm looking for a move date at some point in November but can be flexible. Anything else you would like to know, feel free to ask!
Hi friends! My name is Philippine, working part time as waitress in St Kilda, doing some casual bookkeeping and studying accounting on the side. I'm originally from East of France, but moved to Melbourne 3 years ago to live the Aussie dream!(hehe). I'm at work most of the time or doing my things so you won't see much of me. But when I'm around I'm always keen for a chat, glass of wine, and gossips! I'm into yoga, swimming, trying to keep myself healthy, love cooking and happy to share with everyone. I lived in 2 different share houses over the past 3 years, so I'm definitely house trained! I'm not a clean freak but I like keep things tidy and always clean after myself! I was on the lease in all the places I lived in and never had any problem with rent payments or housemates. Let's be in touch if you feel like we could get along :). Tendresse et chocolat. Philippine
Hello - I’m a full-time working professional in the Events space and am currently looking for a housemate to teamup with to find a new home together! I have my own bedroom furniture, dining table, chairs, lots of indoor plants, stools, rugs and kitchen crockery and am keen to buy the couch/fridge! I am quite a sociable person on the weekends and mostly a hermit during the week due to my long working hours.. I enjoy company of friends & family popping by for dinner or a wine but also enjoy a lazy night in with a glass of red watching the bachelor! I like my houses to be kept clean and tidy but am not OCD. (if sharing a bathroom is required, I am very conscious of having it very cleanly kept) I am looking for a place that either has a backyard or courtyard to sit out in the sun and for my dog to enjoy - he is toilet trained, very friendly and is obsessed with food and people! (so a dog person is a must as he will be inside at times) I am respectful of housemates privacy but also happy to share a convo/dinner/bottle of wine!
I'm an actor/singer/administration officer from Perth and just moved to Melbourne. I'm fun, easy going and friendly. I love singing, acting, watching movies, netflix, travelling, and hanging out with friends. Hoping to find a place close to the city or somewhere close to public transport.
hello! i am a 34 yo working professional needing a place for short term, as i am re-locating out of Australia. Ideally anytime from now (Oct/Nov) for 3-4 months. I travel a fair but for work, i am clean, respectful and neat. Ideally a studio or 1 bedroom apartment but also open to a private room and private bathroom.
Recent arrival to Melbourne from Wellington, NZ. Young professional working full-time in policy for an NGO. Sociable but also independent, I'm ideally looking for a flat that's happy to live with each other and likes to hang out just as much as doing its own thing. Love living that millennial lifestyle with brunch, cocktails, wines, boutique soaps and trashy Netflix binges. Looking to move around mid-Nov.
Hi everyone, I’m Veronika or V! I’m Swedish and Australian (got my citizenship in June). I’m currently on sabbatical leave visiting family and friends back home and will spend a couple of weeks in Asia before I return to Melbourne on 2 January 2019. I’m looking for a furnished room in a share house short term (preferably 1-2 months) while I’m looking for an apartment to rent on my own long term. I work full time in the CBD for a global consulting firm. I’m respectful of others space, clean and easy to live with. I enjoy cooking, keeping fit, the beach, chilling with a vino, socialising and exploring Melbourne. Please get in touch if the above sounds like a good match with your home situation!
Currently taking a break from life and travelling South America BUT I guess I had better start considering responsibilities again so I'm looking at places to move in around December. I'm back in Australia at the end of October and am pretty flexible with move in date but ideally, end of November/December. I moved to Melbourne last year to start work as a physiotherapist and have been happy living in share houses with some pretty great people. I'm happy sharing responsibilities, but I'm a terrible cook.. I'm always up for adventures and exploring and ideally would like a place that feels like home, so would love to find someone social to move in with that could become a friend rather than just housemates. I have a car so I would be looking for somewhere that at least had on-street parking. If anyone is looking to team up I'd be super keen as well. Preferably in a 3 bedroom place to split costs more but open to anything. Please only contact me on the website as right now I'm living in flight mode. I may take a couple of days to reply as I'm in and out of wifi!
I recently got a job in Melbourne and am looking for a place to live. From a rural property in NSW, so pretty excited/nervous about moving to Melbourne. I'm a fun, outgoing individual who's always keen for a social night out or just a few quiet beers at home. When I'm not working I like to hang out with mates, get active, be social. I'm a keen gym goer, but also love my pizza and beer. I like to live in a clean environment, so I'll always clean up after myself. Non-smoker, regular drinker. If you want to know more about me check me out or you can get in touch and we can have a chat. I also have a vehicle so would like a place where I can park my vehicle, ideally in off-street parking.
Hey there guys! I'm from Malaysia and I recently obtained my PR to live in Australia. Ready to move any time after finding a housemate and securing a place to live. A little info about me, I'm a certified Chemical Engineer and I was working for a Japanese company for 5 years. I don't plan to find a permanent job for the first few months in Melbourne. Probably find some casual jobs to do and explore the area. I love traveling. I hope you are down to explore with me! I am very friendly and very neat. I don't smoke and I only drink with good company. I'm a tech lover and a video gamer. I will be bringing my PS4 with me. I'm also addicted to binge watching Netflix but I'm sick of watching alone so please do join me. I can't cook and you'll have to save me in that department but I'm very interested in learning. Besides that, I will have no friends in Melbourne so you have no choice but to be my best friend. I hope you're up for all the banter. Oh added bonus if you're a pet lover! I would like to get a golden retriever puppy in the future. About the arrangement, I am only looking for 1 other housemate. I would prefer a female because I have too many male friends and I really need to branch out. But if I'm forever doomed to only have male friends, I will accept my fate :p For the location, I would like to live in Richmond but anywhere nearby is fine if the company is right. If anyone would want to team up to sign a lease, I will be more than happy to do so. Hit me up and let me know what you guys have in mind :)
Hello everyone! I recently moved to Melbourne from the United States (Ohio) with my company to work in our Australian office. I work for a healthcare software company so what you'd consider a "young professional". I'm a 25 year old male and I consider myself to be above-average in cleanliness and sociable. I enjoy going out on the weekends to grab food and drinks, live music, and I plan on traveling throughout the region while I am here for the next couple years. I'm very excited to explore Melbourne and go to some events too. During the week I like to cook, go to the gym, and play sports. I enjoy having people over on the weekends and would like flatmates that are ok with that from time to time, but nothing too late into the night. However, I am looking for a place that will be pretty calm during the week since I wake up early for work. I'd like to find similar individuals to live with and hope to move in during mid-November. Please reach out if you think I would be a good fit. Also, worth mentioning that I have a stipend from my company that allows for purchasing furniture, kitchen supplies, appliances, and cleaning supplies. So I can help contribute to the place! Cheers!
