Hi all! I'm an early 30s professional in full-time employment with a big 4 bank (standard M-F grind, although currently WFH for lockdown 2.0). I'm clean, tidy and respectful of others. I'm pretty social but know the value of personal space and consider myself well-adjusted to house share situations. Looking for somewhere to call home as opposed to a place to just 'live'. I lead an active lifestyle, go to the gym most days and like to get out and about with friends (pre-COVID). I’ve a varied range interests and love to be introduced to new things…curious by nature here. Love a glass of wine and chat, a good Netflix and meal with the others. Feel free to send me a message if you want to know anything else or are interested. Normally goes without saying but I can pay rent and bills on time, every time. Move date: mid to late July

This is a pre-emptive post since I already have a lease until 2021 but looking to move out to find a more sociable and creative household (post isolation realisations). Would need at least one month of notice to transfer my existing lease and ideally be able to meet in person without worrying about the cops. Ahoy potential future housemates, I am a green architect-designer in my mid-late twenties (graduated from Italy, worked in Dubai) who has lived in 7 different countries (lots of stories) before calling Melbourne my home. Currently getting my graduate degree on property development at the University of Melbourne and working part time in hospitality since I don't wanna go back to being an architect but instead want to perfect my espresso martinis. If I was to briefly describe myself with cliché mottos, mines would be somewhere around 'work hard, play hard' , 'love what you do, do what you love' and 'less is more'. I absolutely love all outdoor activities (when its not on fire), love to dance (anything that has a good beat), interested in anything arts - design - business related, a little bit of a travel addict (In good ol' days when travel was a thing) and a self-proclaimed wine guru. My home is my sanctuary so even though I like adventures and occasional boogies, home is where I recharge my batteries and feel safe. Lived with housemates my entire adult life (males, females and LGBTQ) so perfectly house trained and fully aware of personal space. Have my own busy life but nonetheless would still like to have the ability to socialise with my housemates on occasional basis ex: movie nights, odd drinks, dinners etc. Love animals of all kinds (especially dogs) but allergic to cats (sadly) and drama (not so sadly). I also have my own room's furniture, a bean bag, a dishwasher, laundry dryer machine and a smug smile. Ideally looking for a MODERN 11m2+ room in northern inner city suburbs for long term in a house/unit that has 2- 4 bedrooms, and an en-suite or a shared bathroom. Would prefer to go on a lease so happy to provide references and bank statements if required. I am considering moving out of my current place due to lack of sociability and environmentally consciousness of my housemates which has been especially challenging during isolation. So if you are a member of a mature and neat household that is looking for another crew to trim the sails, feel free to reach out. Cheers Efe

I'm a 26 year old Brisbane-born guy. I'm friendly, clean, open-minded and chill. I arrived in Melbourne in March to change up my lifestyle a bit, meet new people, get a new job etc. Well, COVID messed up my goals a bit but hopefully my plan can get back on track when everything goes back to normal. In Brisbane I was an ESL teacher, but now I'm looking for work. I love travel, series, games, listening to music, books, going out, etc, plus I'm learning Spanish and I want to take up some new hobbies over here. As for preferred length of stay... I'm not sure - likely at least three months (if I like the house and we all get on, etc), but possibly over a year if things go well for me in Melbourne? Shoot me a message if you think we'd get along. Open to all types of flatmates - female/male, straight/queer, Aussie/foreign, with (well-trained) pets/without pets, alternative lifestyle/regular Joe, etc etc. I am: - a non-smoker - an occasional drinker and party-goer (obviously not during the lockdown though) - a flexitarian (I only have vegetarian dishes at home but eat meat when going out sometimes) - a social person but also someone who values alone time - someone who wants to make good friends, try new things and learn

Welcome to the world of houseplants and movie nights. Quick note on my situation: I'm already living in an apartment in South Yarra and have everything needed to furnish a place. My current roommates, a couple, and very close friends of mine, now want to move into their own place. Meanwhile I want to move somewhere with a garden. So I'm looking for someone, or even a couple, to team up with. Although with new lockdown laws in place, I can't really imagine moving before September. I've got couches, chairs, tables, a large work desk we can share if you want, fridge, washing machine, all the kitchen stuff, a very fancy projector, a fish tank, and more house plants than my current roommate is comfortable with. It's everything we could need! (For people looking to fill a room vacancy, I have the furnishings of an entire apartment, too much to move into someone else's place, that's why I'm looking for a team up to start a new lease.) I consider the people I live with family, and I'm looking for someone to help make a communal place for us both to call home. That covered, I'm Murray! I'm a Film Director, but I pay my bills by filming people kissing; (Weddings, not Porn). I'm from Jindabyne in the Snowy Mountains. I studied in Canberra and I moved here a few years ago to make movies and become world famous. Goes without saying that I love movies and TV, I've got the home theatre system sorted. When I'm not out shooting films or weddings, I'm working from home. As a Director I like to host meetings and rehearsals, but only with the people I love working with. I'm a proud vegan and I love cooking, but my dream scenario is we don't draw a line through the kitchen. Let's share the food, share the groceries, take turns cooking dinner every night, pizza night when we're feeling it. A cleaning roster makes chores easy. I loove tea and coffee so there'll always be a hot pot of either during the day to share. I vibe houseplants and natural light during the day, and jazzy music and mood lighting at night. I want to throw a party or two throughout the year; birthday bash and the like, but besides that I get my kicks from movie nights and having friends over for dinner/coffee. Also camping, chilling in the park, or having a pint at the pub. Happy days. I have a very wonderful girlfriend who is just about the nicest human being on the planet. Her name is May, she's originally from Saudi Arabia, but she's lived in Melbourne longer than I have, and she's got the style to prove it. She studies a post grad in biomedical science. She visits very often and would pretty much be our 3rd flatmate, but for family reasons she can't move in. We both love dogs more than humans. I want to try and keep my half of the rent below $300pw, which should find us a really nice place, but not too expensive. I'm looking at suburbs that are close enough to the city, but still are quiet enough to enjoy it. If you would like to meet up, I'd love that. Let's grab a coffee or a beer, get to know each other, see if we get along. I'm inspecting places at the moment so I might have my eye on somewhere great already. Just shoot me a message and we'll go from there.
