Hey there! I’m a 25 year old from Melbourne looking for a social place to live. Working full-time, I’m laid back, loves a drink or a brunch out with family and friends. I enjoy being out and about on the weekends, going for a drink, to the footy and also enjoys keeping quite active during the week. Love socialising but am very independent and I enjoy my own space. I’m clean, organised and respects people space and privacy. I would love to move in with a few people that are looking for a social place to live :)
HI, We have been a couple for more than 3 years. Coming from a 4-year adventure in London where we both worked as a restaurant manager. Planning to stay for a few years, work as well as travel around AU and Asia. We are laid back and love to have a good laugh. We treat the house as a temple where we rest and keep it tidy. Hi I recently graduated and begun working full time 9-5 in St Kilda, so looking for a place near there. Grew up in Melbourne but just got back from living abroad for 8 months so have experience (short but still) sharing a space with others. I'm clean, friendly, respectful of privacy but also very laid back, I'm not bothered by a few dishes and I'm willing to share food/most things etc. Very flexible, not fussed about your schedule, and usually down for a drink (or 5)
Clean and respectful. Always up for a laugh. I work as an engineer Monday-Friday, so am generally out during the day, but do work from home at times. Have been in Melbourne for 3 months after relocating from Tasmania. Was previously living in Southbank on a short term lease and now looking for a new home.
Looking for a place to live before I finish my final semester at RMIT. I study and work in Communications, as well as a bit of music and dance performance on the side. I juggle a lot of different activities so am mostly out of the house although I don’t work full time. I'm a real creative person, and would describe myself as an introvert, although I'm super open and happy to chat to anyone about anything. I love keeping fit and going to gym everyday... So an occasional gym buddy would be a bonus! I come from a big family so respect personal space and noise etc. but really not into being uptight about it. I’m really tolerant and relaxed in general about sharing and having a social life and would expect a housemate to be the same :) I'm also interested in teaming up, so give me a message if you've got a place in mind or would like to find a new house that suits us both
Hey guys, My name is Balázs, sorry in advance for the difficult name, but I'm from Hungary so I guess it necessarily comes with it. :) I'm currently finishing a 6 months lease in the CBD, hence I'm looking for a new place to live close to the city. A little bit about me: I'm a 27 yo Hungarian working full time 9-5 in Clayton. Came here on a working holiday visa last October but I just got sponsored for 4 years whohoo :) I'm pretty busy during working days, but I still enjoy a drink and good company. I am rather social, but I respect your privacy if you have your tinder date over. During weekends I enjoy the city buzz or I reconnect with the nature somewhere in Victoria. (I'm always down for some hiking or wakeboarding) As a housemate: I'm very laid back, outgoing person, slightly extroverted thus enjoying to be around people. I really like when a flat has a good vibe and the flatmates maintain good relationship with one another. I'm originally from Hungary and traveled through Europe in my early 20's. If you are planning a trip there, I can definitely help too. I'm not a neat freak but I do my share of cleaning around the house. I lived in multiple share houses in both Hungary and Australia in the last 5 years and I have a good rapport with my former housemates, so reference shouldn't be a problem either. Cheers!
I'm a Canberran who has just moved to Melbourne to pursue new work and lifestyle opportunities. Just starting work in the Victorian public service. I lead a fairly low-key lifestyle at home though I do enjoy nights out (dinners, movies, drinks, occassional dancing). Travel, hiking, running, yoga, reading, movies are all fine by me!
My current lease is up in my one bedroom, wanting to have housemates again. I'm looking for a place closer to work so ideally Richmond, Toorak, South Yarra area. I'm pretty easy going, clean, social, quiet (I don't stomp around and bang dishes) I drink wine and tell terrible jokes :)
Hello! My name is Maria Luisa, I'm 20 years old and I'm from Brazil. I've been in Melbourne for about three days. I'm studying English at afternoons and soon I'll be looking for a job. I am a very easy going person with anyone that is not prejudiced with others. I like to watch movies, tv shows and in Brazil I was studying movie-making. I need accomodation from August 25th to February 2th. I'm a quiet person when I have to be, I'm here to explore the city, learn about the Australian culture and make new friends. I'm clean and organized, and I'm up to do anything that is necessary. I'm looking for a bed or room in a cozy house or apartament, that is close to the city or close to public transportation.
Hi potential housemate! I am an international student from Singapore looking for a private room for a long term stay. I will be starting my undergraduate in Film and Television Production in September. I love coffee, movies, music, photography and all types of art. I am friendly, chill, easy going, neat and open to other cultures. I am sociable, happy to hang out during my free time but also respect people's privacy (I undestand everyone likes their alone time). I'm looking for a place that is clean and tidy. Nothing fancy but decent, with fun people up with great sense of humour. I would prefer a place that is less than an hour away from Southbank via public transport. I am also open to teamups! :)
Hi :) Im a 25 year old nurse, originally from Brisbane and just moved here a few months ago. I’m very clean and tidy, very social but also love my own time especially the days I work. I’m a shift worker with nursing so I’m usually out of everyone’s way using the kitchen in the morning etc as I’m on different schedules usually. Weekends I’m usually out eating, having a drink with friends or chilling watching a movie in my room or with roommates. I have a car, so need a car space or street parking and have a strong preference of having my own bathroom but am also happy to check out places with a shared bathroom. My hobbies include cooking on my days off and as previously mentioned eating/drinking out, socialising and exploring the city and day trips away. Message me to find out more :)
I am very outgoing and love meeting new people. I'm very organised with my stuff, and I'm very particular about keeping the house tidy. I'm pretty laid back and easy to get along with. I'd be more than happy to help with house chores. Also, I'm a musician, so you can ask me to play you a song anytime, haha!
Hi, I'm yet another 25 year old Welshy recently moved to Ausand. Melbourne is where I've landed and have a 6 month contract with a company in CBD and probs staying for another 3-4 after that. I love playing squash and all sports pretty much, staying healthy and going gym 3-4 times a week. I cook >90% of my own meals and really enjoy experimenting, there are a couple of traditional Welsh dishes I'm pretty sick at. I like relaxing on weekdays and being social and out and about on weekends. Love Skiing, trying to learn to Surf and tempted to pick up golf before I get old. Love Ales/Wine + Whiskey. Past my clubbing years, much more of a weekend pub-goer now but okay with the occasional party. Fairly laid back individual and up for anything, just looking to really enjoy my year in Melbourne. Looking for a social/homely house with a few other peeps my age so shoot me a message if you think it's a match. Cheers Aled
27-year-old PhD student from Germany/Ecuador. Easy to get along with, clean, sociable, good sense of humor. When not struggling to meet deadlines I binge watch movies/shows, like to hang-out or go out for drinks from time to time but open for new activities :D. Happy to do stuff together but fine i not desired. If you want to know more, just ask! Currently living in Prahran and working/studying in Parkville. I am looking for a room that is ideally within walking distance to Parkville and/or has good connections to that area.
We are a young couple from Chile and arrived 3 weeks ago with a Work and Holiday Visa. We love doing outdoor activities and explore Nature. We are nice people to live with. We are very responsible, tidy and love interacting with different cultures too. We are not party animals but a few drinks never killed nobody :) As we just came to Melbourne we are always looking what to do and see.
Hi everyone! I am 30 years old and am an environmental lawyer from Adelaide. I'm looking for a place which is on the fringe of the CBD. I am hoping to secure something longer term, say for 9 months plus. I work fairly long hours and am not home much on weekdays, so you may hardly know I'm there! When I am home, I am usually up for socialising over a drink or a meal. I am very tidy and more than happy to pitch in with communal duties. If I have the time, I enjoy cooking and sharing the product! In my spare time, I like to exercise (mainly running and hiking but have been known to dabble in various styles of dance) and explore. I also like to travel and have lived in Copenhagen for a period of time. I really enjoy performing arts, particularly circus. Food is certainly high on the priority list too! I think the best way to describe myself is laid back and open to new adventures. Have been in Melbourne for about 2 years but am always interested in hearing about new experiences here, so am looking to share a home with others who are happy to share their local knowledge. Feel free to get in touch so we can set up a meeting :)
Hi All, I've relocated from Perth to Melbourne early this year in order to enjoy the wonderful lifestyle on offer and also for a new role. I work full time at a major Australian bank in Docklands, standard business hours. I like to catch up regularly with friends, shop, yoga/pilates, go out for meals/drinks, cook, bake, watch netflix and travel each year. I've grown up in Perth and own a 2 bedroom apartment in Perth so I understand the responsibilities that come with it including keeping the place it tidy and clean. Looking for a place that is very close to a train st so it’s easy to get into the city, plus trams. I won't have a car so excellent public transport is key. My current housemate isn't renewing our lease hence I'm looking for a room in a new friendly household. Hoping my new flatmates (up to 2 max please) will be fun, clean, tidy and friendly. Initially looking for a place to settle into for the medium to long term.
I'm Amy and I’m currently living in Hawthorn, but the apartment I’m in has unfortunately just been sold so I’m looking for another one in a similar location! I’m 26 and am a music teacher so I work full time. I also do boxing classes and go for occasional swims at Hawthorn YMCA and do weekly Pilates! I’m a very organised person and like keeping things clean and tidy! I'm not a partier and am looking for a friendly non-party house where I can chill out and relax, and also hopefully get on well with other housemates (but understand that everyone likes their personal space- and I do too!).
Hi there! We're a couple, one French, one Japanese. We both speak English fluently, but you will hear us speaking other languages at home! We're both quiet, friendly, and very reliable people. One of us is working full-time, the other is working from home at the moment. We are looking for a place to move in around mid-August, for three months to start, while we figure some visa details. We both love pets (so if you have one, it is not an issue at all), and both cook (one of us is a chef). One of us smokes occasionally, but will do so outside of the house/flat/place. Hit us up so we can arrange a visit!
Hello! im a masters in management student at la trobe university. Mostly busy with my assignments, job and ps4. Quiet, Clean and respectable person from India. 25 year old, originally from Perth, currently working full time in Property... Very tidy and respectful, always up for a vino, love live music, exploring the outdoors, and watching sports. I also have a car so will need somewhere to park (on or off street is fine), and MAY come with a maltese shitzu (he's still in Perth and hoping to bring him over soon) if the circumstances allow!
