My name is Callum and I'm from the Central Coast, NSW. I'm a 23 year old who loves a chat, food, markets, binging netflix shows, tea, going out every so often and exploring new places (especially since I'll be new to Melbourne). I have lived in share houses in Sydney the last 5 years and I'm very tidy and easy to get along with.
Hi there! I'm moving to Melbourne to study design at Swinburne (Hawthorn) in February 2018 so I've started looking for a place to call home and lovely people to share it with! Something close to uni or close to a station that takes me to uni would be perfect :D As a flatmate, I'm sociable and friendly so I'd love a meal together and/or a post-work/uni chat but I'll totally understand when you need your own space. I'm also tidy and good with paying rent on time and can bake an earth-shatteringly good batch of blondies (by the way, I only know how to cook vegetarian/vegan food since I was raised vegetarian, but I do eat meat otherwise). I'm happy to do my share of chores and I'm cool with pets and parties, too! And as a person; I love Frank Ocean, Nigella Lawson, and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (look I promise I only *enjoy* the show and I'm not as depraved as the gang. Okay maybe sometimes I am. Desperate times.) My recent YouTube searches include RIP Vine compilations and Buzzfeed Unsolved, so make of that what you will. Basically I'm always up for a good laugh, good food, and terrifyingly gruesome murders. If any of this sounds like your thing, hit me up! :D
Hey there! I am moving to Melbourne on the 12th of February to do my masters in management at la trobe university city campus! i've travelled a lot, so i understand different cultures and their way of living. So I’m super comfortable with all walks of life. I am very friendly, adjustable, clean, crisp, tidy, responsible and would be thrilled to learn about different cultures and their values. Tbh, I Prefer going out than to the uni! So the priority is not all about studies. Although, Private time while private time, study while study and at leisure i’d love to go out for a beer and just cannot say no to some some sick parties on the weekends with the fam! Looking forward to learn surfing so a House near the beach would be perfect. Other than that fifa, NAPS, sporadic gym goer, traveling, cooking, Netflix and sip on some good wine is what I do to kill time. To be more precise I’m up for anything, you just gotta name it, well let's game it! Traveling around during holidays? Yes please! If you’re interested I suggest you leave a message. Cheers 🍻

I'm easygoing, tidy, mindful of my environment and respect others' privacy. I'm also a good listener, pretty social, but also enjoy time to myself. I love the videogames (I have the nintendo swicth and we can play some days), music, watching movies and enjoy eating out. I love cooking for people (I can do a spanish omelette, PAELLA, spanish sweets), I don't smoke but I don't care if someone smokes next to me. I practice sports, for example crossfit, go to the gym, swim... If you want to meet us, send me a message!!
We're two Canadians who love good conversations over coffee or drinks! We're also both foodies, so super willing to go on food adventures around the city together. We work full time in tech and finance - work hard during the week and play hard on the weekend! We're SUPER CLEAN!
Friendly, honest, clean, enthusiastic and active ( cringe - writing this is the worst!) . Lived in Melbourne for 5 years then went back to NZ for 1.5 years for a work contract, but now I'm back. I like to get out and about doing exercise things, walking, exploring or some sort of activity with friends and having a place that I can feel comfortable to have friends over for a dinner, board games etc now and then is ideal. Occasionally like to have a night out but more often than not I'm pretty low key and enjoy relaxing, cooking, watching tv, movies and reading while at home. I work full time as a Project Manager and also own a businesses on the side with my best friend so I'm quite busy. I also have a long distance boyfriend who lives in NZ so I'll sometimes be away over there and he will occasionally visit me in Melbourne. I'm really just looking for a nice home to share with good people that enjoy some banter and a living a homely, welcoming atmosphere.
I'm Fiona, I'm 30, I'm from the UK and I am in Melbourne on a working holiday visa (arrived 10th Jan) and I'm looking to rent a room. At the moment I am looking for a room for 6 months while I find my feet. I am currently looking for work in an office role - PA / Coordinator / HR as that is my background. I have enough money saved to live and rent for 2 months or so but I am on the hunt for a job already. I am a warm, friendly and interested person who likes to get to know my flatmates as well as having my own routine. I am clean, tidy, organised and am happy to relax at home but I also love being with friends, exercising, trying different places for food and drink and nights out. If you think I could be a good fit, please let me know. Thanks!
I’m 25, a full time working professional, living a pretty active, sociable lifestyle. I’m generally out and about Monday to Friday and keep busy on the weekends with F45, brunches, lunches, dinners. I’m very clean (I know my way around a vac), respectful of privacy and personal space and the living space we’ll share!
Hi ! I'm French and I found a great job in Melbourne, as a leathersmith. I have a WHV so I want to take the time to discover the city and its people too ! Before that, I lived in two different shared houses in France : one year with 3 other girls and another year with 2 boys and 2 girls. I really loved these experiences and I think I'm a trustworthy, tidy and cheerful person to live with ! I love going out with people, drinking a glass of wine (or two), reading books as well as going to exhibitions or gigs. Eating good-quality food and doing sport are more a "project of life" than a current fact but I'm a very motivated person ! Another thing : My level of english is approximate but I plan on improving it, so I'm looking for patient mates ;) Hope we will get along ! Can't wait to meeting you !
I am Danish, 25 and doing a master of Biotechnology at RMIT. Just finished the first semester, and am therefore looking for something long term (1,5 years). When I am not studying, I spend a great deal of time going to the beach or having beer/wine and good food with friends. I have previously worked a lot with beer at Carlsberg, and at a beer bar with the largest selection of beers on tap in all of Europe (fun fact), both in Copenhagen - now I'm trying to find my way through the large selection of Australian craft beer, and could definitely use a bit of guidance from future housemates! Besides drinking alcohol, I go swimming a lot, do a bit of rock climbing and go for the occasional jog. I love the outdoors, so will probably by going for a few weekend trips whenever I have time. Also I am trying to learn how to skate... Still undecided on whether or not that's a good idea though - always looking to try something new, some projects turn out more successful than others... I am quite social and I might have mates come over once in a while, but I will always be considerate of my fellow housemates, as I've lived in all sort of shared house constellations, and know the importance of mutual respect. Think I generally clean more than most people, which doesn't bother me, and never seemed to bother any previous housemates (surprise!). I laugh a lot, live my life drama-free, and generally don't take myself too seriously, would prefer to live with like-minded people, ideally in a house where we actually share a home, and not just live in rooms next to each other. Get in touch if you think I might be a good fit for your home.
hi, my name is Amelia. I'm 25, work full time as a landscape gardener. i am looking for a relaxed share house with like minded people. i like to socialise, create art, hang out and go out. looking for anywhere north/east or south of Melbourne
3 University friends still studying. Tim has a full time job, plays football and currently has one year of uni left. Jazeel has a part time job and currently has one year of uni left. Myself (Matthew) work part time, play football and have one year and a half left of uni. Looking in Richmond and surrounding subrubs as it is right inbetween Swinburne University and where each of us work.
I'm from California originally, moved to Melbourne in April to work in advertising and loving Australia so far! Hoping to stay long term, and find a fun sharehouse that's mellow during the week and social on the weekends. Can contribute: useless trivia knowledge, overall cleanliness/respectfulness, enthusiasm for cooking family dinners, and always down for weekend exploration/travel/attempting to surf (forever comically). Prefer own bathroom access, with a house that has some outdoor space (for patio beers) and open to living with ladies or dudes in late 20's/early 30's (no drama = no problem)
I'm from the Netherlands and moved to Melbourne a couple of months ago. I'm going to start a full-time job in social media advertising soon. As I'm still fairly new to the city, I enjoy exploring everything it has to offer, which is a lot as I've noticed. I'm a pretty relaxed guy to live with, I clean up after myself and I'm always up for a chat after a working day. Have been living in shared houses for over 7 years, so I know what it's like to live with people in a fun and respectful way. Besides this, I value honesty, kindness, and humour (can see the beauty in a good meme or funny youtube video). As for hobbies, I actually enjoy doing a lot of different things: I like to go cycling, having a workout at a gym, or most of all going surfing (still beginner though, but loving it!). I also love listening to music and going to concerts, mostly rock music. Also like to relax a bit in the park or at the beach. Also love watching movies and tv shows, but trying to save that for the colder months of the year.
Friendly, creative, social person who loves to work hard and also have fun. Love travel, yoga, art, design, architecture. Just finished my interior architecture and architecture degree. Keen and ready to begin a life in Melbourne. Will help make my home a super amazing place to live in. Very clean to! :)
Hello, my name is Ben and I'm a 27 year old student working part-time/full-time. I've spent roughly 4 years living in sharehouses around Melbourne, but have spent the last 18 months living with my girlfriend in Mildura. I'm looking to move back to big city life and continue my studies at Swinburne University. I'm clean, tidy, super easy to live with and very respecting of others. Feel free to msg for any further information. Cheers! Ben
I enjoy playing computer games, love to watch movies with friends. I work in IT as a computer technician a recent promotion requires mt to move from my house in Gippsland to Melbourne. I have owned my house for a number of years now, I will need somewhere to stay for a least 6 mouth maybe more, while I decide what to do with my house in Gippsland. all thought my start date is not till the end of January I am happy to start to pay sooner to lock my self into a place,
I decided to move from Canada in November of 2016 and have elected to spend my time in Australia in the city of Melbourne! I'm quite clean but not an absolute neat freak as I don't mind organized clutter in the right places, and I'm remarkably easy going and laid back. I enjoy going out and having the occasional friend over but staying in with a book and some tea is far preferable to me. I'll definitely be a very social house mate as I try to make friends wherever I go. Before I left Canada I was a fitness instructor at a trampoline park, so I'm a bit of a health nut with a pasta problem, and before that I was an antiques consigner, so I love design and really old things. I'm extremely passionate about music, listening and recording, but my favourite pastimes are split between napping and working out. Also, I make a mean batch of pancakes, I can supply the Canadian maple syrup, AND I have a Costco card. You cannot go wrong.
Hey, I'm Alex, a third year exchange student looking for accommodation in Melbourne from Mid-February to the end of June, Studying Literature. I'm pretty chill, quite neat and don't mind pitching in with the washing up at all. I enjoy reading thick books, exploring new places, drinking good coffee and watching terrible films. Being a Pomey, I'm probably going to burn a lot and complain about the weather, but I make up for it with some delicious cooking skills and taking banter like a champ. Aside from calls to my girlfriend, I'm none too noisy either, although I do occasionally sing in the shower. If you have a place close to the University of Melbourne, or just a tram line that can get me there, send me message and I'll be in contact ASAP. Hope to hear from you soon, Alex
Hi, my name's Alex and I am from Austria (Europe) and I'm moving to Melbourne in January/February to do my PhD at Monash (Clayton) - so a student only by title as Ill be working full time in the lab, including a fixed salary. I'm looking for a shared apartment to move into sometime in February - quite flexible on the exact date. Anything close to richmond or south yarra station would be plus! I'd love to have roommates I can become friends with, doesn't mean spending every waking moment together but just to get along well, occasionally share a meal or go out for drinks, or have a Netflix binge together. I also really enjoy reading so it will happen quite often that you'll find me around the house with a book in one and coffee/tea in the other hand. Having people over once in a while is all good with me, as long as it doesn't turn in super excessive. I also enjoy cooking and exercising. I've lived in shared apartments the last couple years, so quite some experience there (also in all kinds of ages 20s to mid 30s). When it comes to living together mutual respect of each other's private area as well as keeping common spaces clean and tidy are important to me. And, of course, having a good time together :)
Super easy to get along with, respects others and their space, whilst also loving socialising with everyone when people are around and up for it. When I'm not working I enjoy dancing, going to classes at the gym (really want to get into Muay Thai once I find a place to live), creating, baking, chilling watching Netflix and hanging out with friends.
