Hi all! I'm Meg, and I work full time in the real estate industry. I have just taken on a new full time role in the CBD. I currently live on my own in Mentone, however my lease expires in a month or so and would be looking to team up with another person to find a 2 bed, 2 bathroom Apartment or Townhouse. I'm not too fussy on the location but would prefer South Yarra, Richmond or those sort of areas. I would also be happy to stick in the Bayside area too, as I enjoy being close to my family. As long as there is a train station nearby I'm happy. Living on my own I obviously have all my own stuff including TV, washing machine, fridge, couch, dining table, appliances etc. I would prefer to be able to keep all of these things so ideally you wouldn't have anything and I can provide it all. However, putting them in a storage cage would be ok too. I am a very easy going person. I tend to be fairly quiet during the working week but I love coming home and hanging out on the couch with netflix. On the weekends I love to socialise either at home or out for dinner or drinks with friends. I am also a bit of neat freak and love a tidy house. I have always paid my rent and bills on time so there is no issue there. I would love a housemate that would also be a friend too, that's something that is super important to me, as my last housemate wasn't very social and kept to himself alot.
I am an easy going, flexible, love to have a chat, and understand everyone's privacy, quite laid back and chill. I work in real estate working 6 days a week, doing some long hours. Fun & Weekends are pretty much friends, sports, gym, watching footy.
Hoping to find a nice housemate or housemates who are interested in spending some time together either eating or watching tv every now and again. I'm vegetarian, aspiring vegan, and love animals so I'm definitely fine with pets in the house. I'm friendly, respect shared areas and considerate of other housemates. I've been in a few share houses so I know how this all works. Hoping to find a friendly housemate who is considerate and doesn't need a surrogate parent in a sharehouse. Currently working in South Yarra so keen to find a place nearby to unwind after a fast paced full day at the office. Being introverted in such a social workplace means I'm exhausted so no not after a party house. I spend my free time at the gym, catching up with friends for a bite, love going for long walks, and live gigs/concerts as well as the footy. But when I'm home I'm pretty much straight into my pjs.
My name is Sean. I am a 26 year old engineer from South Africa currently traveling the world (Slowly but surely). I have a full time contract in Melbourne for the next 4-6 months and am looking for a cool place to stay. I am an adventurous person who enjoys meeting people and exploring. I am a very easy person to live with and enjoy a good balance of banter, good conversation, and alone time. I prefer to spend my time outdoors, however I am starting to realise that Melbourne in the winter is all about good coffee and beer, spots, live music, and sneaky late night gelato! Give me a shout if you have a cupboard under the stairway for me. Cheers!
Hi I'm an easy going fun tidy girl looking for a new place . looking for something close to transport as I don't drive. I work part time and have some furniture if need be otherwise I can put it in storage. Hope to hear from you guys
I'm from Newcastle, NSW originally and have been living in Melbourne for a year. I study and work in retail and when I'm not doing those I'm usually keeping active, binge watching Netflix or going on adventures. I love going to gigs, festivals and eating alllll of the foods. Ideally I want housemates/housemate who I can be friends with but who will also respect my privacy and alone time.
Hi, I'm a 27 year-old, full time professional moving down to Melbourne from Brisbane. I enjoy going to brunch on the weekend and catching up with friends over a few drinks. At home, I like to have a nice tidy place that provides down time after work.
Young professional who loves to socialise but also loves her independence. Clean with a lot of respect for others property. Loves shopping, keeping active and a glass of wine! Looking for like-minded females to live with.
Hey there, looking for an fun and friendly share house / apartment to join. I enjoy good food, good wine and coffee, travelling, and generally hanging out with friends. I take pride in my home and have always got on well with my housemates, if not become great friends! I do enjoy down time at home during week, like to cook occasionally, and mostly out and about on weekends, looking forward to meeting you!
Hey! My name's Faye and I work in the travel industry as an Adventure Consultant. Having recently transferred to my new role closer to the city I'm looking for a place with easy access of Glenferrie. Originally from the UK, I moved to Melbourne in 2011 and since then I have gained experience living in a variety of shared accommodations and now I'm looking for my new home. What you can expect of me: I work Monday-Friday and the occasional Saturday and travel often on both work and personal trips. I'm a low consumer, very tidy and respectful, I don't own a lot of stuff! (no tv/furniture etc) and I'm really friendly. I'm very laid back and sociable but I do enjoy privacy and downtime in my own living space. I'm not a big drinker but I am a big foodie, so if I come in late it's thanks to a wild night on beef tataki or pizza! Ha. And lastly, I don't cook much.. (so not much mess) but I do like to bake goodies from time to time. Anything else you'd like to know, please ask away. What I'm looking for: I'm looking to share a peaceful and welcome environment with like-minded people who are laid-back, respectful and great communicators. Low consumers are ideal if bills are to be shared and I'd like to feel welcome to invite a friend or two over every now and again. I'd also like to share with other full-time workers who aren't home all the time either :) On a side note.. I'm also a sucker for a good pub quiz! All in all, I'm looking for a "home". Having left all my family behind in England, a comfortable, chilled environment is very important to me. I look forward to meeting you :)
Hi, My name is Ivan :) I am 40 years old. I am very clean, organised and respectful of people's privacy and space. I enjoy a good chat and like meeting new people. I prefer sharing a flat or house with 1 person, preferably above ground floor. I also like to live in a clean and tidy environment, a place I can call home. Kindest Regards Ivan
My partner Steve, and I (along with our two fur babies) are looking for somewhere long term to live. We are respectful, tidy, friendly people who pay rent on time and would prefer to live with people/someone who doesn't mind having a few drinks every now and then but also knows how to respect others' privacy.
34 yrs old Italian male. Australian P.R., living and working in Melbourne since 2013. I usually work as a Pizza Chef and with future part-time study and career change plans also. Straight, clean, easy going, open minded peaceful person, non-smoker. Enjoy my own space and respect others's space. Fine with home cleaning and house duties. I like animals and they like me. I love healthy food and beverages. Music (I've got a decent collection of Jazz and alternative music..) ,going to gigs possibly, hanging out for dinner once a week and enjoy Melbourne's food scene. I enjoy reading, swimming, walking to the beach, training outdoor, travelling when possible and relaxing at home off course . Keen to make new friends, cook and share a meal and have a vino together sometimes. Looking for a peaceful, clean and safe environment to share with like minded people, possibly a furnished room in a not crowded house. Not a party house, in a nice location well connected to the City, possibly not far from the Ocean or in a green area of Melbourne or close to that. Thank you. Cheers, Michele
I'm a 27 year old professional who works 5-6 days a weeks so am really only home in the evening. I work in the motor industry so it's usually long hours so I like to relax when I get home. Im quiet and tidy and am hoping to live with people that are similar. I like to be comfortable with flatmates and won't mind hanging out from time to time so hoping to live with people close to my age. As I've just moved from interstate, I'd prefer somewhere furnished as all I have are clothes and have no furniture with me. I'm friendly and respectfull so if you are similar then I'm sure we'll get along great ☺☺
Well, my name is Josh. I am 42 kilometres old and I am 8 months pregnant with my 14th illegitimate cat. Nah, just kitten y'all right meow! Boy, do I froth a good pun! But I do froth a bad pun, too. The puns that are neither good nor bad, though... Yeah, they're pretty good as well! But would I define myself as punsexual? No! Quite frankly, I don't believe in labels. Unless they are on things like jars. Nothing grinds my gears like mistaking icing sugar and cocaine at 4 a.m when I'm baking cakes. Why the hell would anyone put icing sugar on a cake anyway? That's bloody crazy! Anyway, if you haven't already noticed, I'm pretty cool. Mum even says so as well. It's good to have such a credible and unbiased opinion, so it can be used as a reference for any future leasing application. So yeah, I guess you could say I'm probably better than you. You don't have to say it... But you probably should! Like, I don't want to brag or nothing, but I mooch off my parents, watch Gossip Girl 24/7 on the reg and I steal from homeless people. No big deal, whatever. Yolo. My life motto is "Haters gonna hate" and I have a sick tattoo on my lower back that says "Daddy's Little Angel" (Inked AF). It's a big part of my life and is a massive part of who I am. Apart from all the dank memes and heroin I consume daily, that is. But seriously, enough rubbish. Besides having 6 toes on one foot and 3 nipples (Not on the same foot), I'm pretty normal. I'm just looking for a nice, clean place that is close to Melbourne CBD, whether that is into an existing household or people want to team up and start a new wolf pack. Anyway, if you made it this far and want to find out more, feel free to send me a message or text on 0418 827 795. Thanks.
I am a 23 years-old working in hospitality. I have lived in Sydney for 2+ years and now are very excited to move to another big city. I am very easy going and fun to live with, pretty tidy (only make a mess in my own room!) and love to cook. I am looking for a home away from home with people whom I could share home-cook food with over small talks. Not a party animals but would love a drink or two during days off or exploring around the neighbourhood. I also loveeee animals, especially dogs and cats (unfortunately don't have any). I would really love to share a house with some pets!
Sydneysider. Moving south to start a new chapter in Melbourne. I've been working a handful of years in financial services so usually busy most work days (unfortunately this will continue). In my down time I try to arouse my mind with a range of hobbies which currently include: french studies, gym and yoga. When I'm not feeling like a bit of a douche - I'm drinking the cheap red and watching Netflix doco's on repeat. In conclusion, what makes me great to live with? I can be whatever you want me to be... That and I'm totally open minded and a respectful human being :-)
I am working as a solution architect, I have also authored few technical books. I can teach you how to publish book in Amazon, I can also teach you how to do Meditation. I am non smoker, non drinker and very quiet person. I prefer to share with only one person.
I'll start off by addressing the elephant in the room; my age. I understand that my age is going to be the most difficult trait to look past, although I can assure you that I am beyond my age from a maturity and lifestyle perspective. I'm currently working full time in a corporate office located in Sydney, and will transferring to our office located in Box Hill in June. Upon moving down to Melbourne I will also be picking up a second job, so rent and bills will never be an issue and I am more than happy to have my name on the lease if required. I'm a career minded individual with a pretty relaxed lifestyle. Over the weekends I enjoy reading, going on road trips and would prefer a couple drinks at the local and an early night, (or a house cook off) over going clubbing. As a housemate I'm a tidy person with respect for everyone's space. I do enjoy my own company and space, although definitely not opposed to some solid house banter and hanging out. Ideally looking for like minded individuals in a cosy home with a nice courtyard, with easily accessible public transport. Should you have any questions don't hesitate to ask :)
I love travel and exploring and I've spent most of my last ten years living overseas and travelling. I've got plenty of experience living with flatmates and on my own! I've been in Melbourne for about a year now and I'm studying a masters full-time and working as well. I'm pretty relaxed around the house. I expect everyone to pull their weight on balance but to be flexible and communicate well. I'd like to be able to relax and have a good chat with my flatmates when we're home together. I'm very busy with study and work. In my spare time I like going to the gym, hiking, cycling, camping and anything outdoors! I've been renting furnished but am happy to find something furnished or buy a bed...also I'd like to find something for a year or more as I will be definitely be in Melbourne until the end of 2018, but also open to look at shorter term.
Hey I'm Thom! I'm looking to relocate to Melbourne from Wollongong for uni beginning in 2017. I love to listen to music, go out for dinner, drinks, and coffee with friends as well as keeping active and busy. I've worked at cafes, bars and hotels for the past couple of years and hope to continue while I study. I'm tidy and considerate and love to cook and hangout with housemates. P.S. my move-in date is flexible - just need to get my room covered here and then I'm ready to go! Looking forward to hearing from you, Thomas
