I am a very friendly and well travelled final year medical student. I'm coming to Melbourne to complete a clinical elective placement at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and I'm looking for a place to stay from 3rd to 31st March 2018. I love travelling, discovering new places and meeting new people. In my free time I enjoy visiting art galleries and exhibitions, going to music gigs and spending time outdoors. I am a huge coffee fan and foodie, and always on the lookout for nice coffee shops and restaurants to try. I have visited Melbourne before and love the city, I'm looking forward to making it my home for a month!
Hello ! My name is Mathilde, I'm french and I will arrive in Australia in February to study ! I will study to Deakin university from February to the end of May. I preferred to leave in the city centre as I will not have many courses and I really want to discover and explore Melbourne and around :)

Hello, we're Heidi and Nick, we're 28 and 22 and are from the UK, we're currently living on the Gold Coast and are moving to Melbourne on the 2nd November. We need somewhere to move in right away when we arrive and want to be close to the city centre and tram. We're pretty quiet and mega chilled out, we don't drink and enjoy cooking and heading out at weekends, we've done flatshares before so are respectful of everyone else, plus we're clean and always tidy up after ourselves. We are looking for a quiet place to unwind and relax after a days work, we enjoy a chat and are really friendly. We will both be working full time. The only requirement we have is use of our own bathroom, and a nice clean place! Please let us know if you think you have something suitable :)
Hi there! I'm a 20 year old girl from Italy and I'm looking for a share house in Melbourne, ideally, not too far from the city and close to public transport. About me: I've been living in Australia for about a year, I'm easy going, tidy and respectful of others. I'm usually more comfortable with people older than me. I love socializing out and at home, but also like my own space and respect others' privacy. I work as a nanny/live out au pair in Footscray, but my real passion is cooking and I'd like to start working back in a kitchen soon. In my time off, I like reading, meeting friends for coffee, and movies. I would be more than happy to have a chat if you would be interested. Please note, I'm looking for someone or people to share with, not just a room to rent. Ideally, I'd like a situation where flatmates have a chat together now and then, share a glass of wine or watch a movie together. Hope to hear from you soon. kind regards, Valeria
We are a couple ( jack, 23 year old kiwi, and sara, 25 year old swedish/american ) who have been living in Melbourne since march and love it. However we're now on the hunt for a slightly bigger room and more social household. I work in marketing just outside of the city and sara is currently working in a cafe and looking for an engineering role, so both fairly busy monday to friday. Both well housetrained, used to living in houseshares, and enjoy having a chat in the evenings or chilling infront of the tv, and activites and a few drinks on the weekend!
I am a 26 y/o female Ecology PhD student working with a professor at the University of Melbourne for one year. I am clean, friendly and environmentally conscious! I love being outdoors (mainly hiking and surfing!), yoga, reading, movies, and going out with friends for a drink/meal. I usually keep to myself during the weekdays but enjoy being social on the weekends. My past roommates have become life long friends so I hope to live with social roommates!
Hi! I'm James, a 22 year old Melbourne Uni student. I'm looking for a place to stay for a very short term rental, from now until 7 November. Anywhere in Melbourne's inner-middle suburbs is fine. Apartment and private room preferred. I'm also looking for a place to stay on a short term rental from 13 December until 15 January in Melbourne. I'm a clean but chill person who will be working quite a lot. Always up for a chat, dinner or few drinks on the weekend. Let me know if you have any questions :)
Hi, I'm currently living in Perth but will be making the move over to Melbourne within the next month or so and am looking for a furnished private room in a shared house. I work full-time in digital marketing for a company based in Canada, so generally work from home/the library/internet cafes/anywhere with a view. I also run my own little freelancing business on the side so generally work quite long days. That being said, I am always up for a shared meal, going out to dinner, trying new bars or exploring the city on the weekends and evenings. As I'm moving over from Perth I don't have many friends here, so would ideally like to move into a shared house with a bit of a social vibe, with people who like to hang out together in their spare time and share a glass of wine/beer/rum/gin in the evenings and on weekends. I'm super clean and tidy, and am really respectful of other peoples space and privacy. I've got a steady income so can be relied on to pay the rent and bills when they're due and chip in for household things. I love the Richmond area and would ideally like to move into a house in Richmond or its surrounding suburbs - somewhere close to the CBD but south of Melbourne. Please send me a message if you'd think we'd be a good fit.
Hello! I have been living in Richmond the last year and unfortunately the landlord wants his place back! Ideally looking for something with a backyard/courtyard - especially coming into these summer months! I am easy going, friendly and tidy! I have lived out of home for 7 years so I am very domesticated. I can bring any furniture required - as I previously lived in my own property but currently have a 50inch TV and fridge in Melbs. Very career driven and occasionally travel with work or back out in the country visiting family. I love getting out for a drink and live music. Enjoy listening to tunes out the in sun. Always cook in bulk so not always clogging up the kitchen. Have been living with 3 other girls sharing 1 bathroom - so understand sharing. Let me know if you have any questions!!! Looking to move any time in the next month :)
Hello, I am Mai and am from Japan. I have 2 jobs, one is interior design, another one is house cleaning. I'm looking for a private room which is close to the city. I hope to move in the new place until 4th of November but I can make it earlier or later.
I'm super clean, easy to get along with, relaxed and sociable but respectable! I love sharing a bottle of wine or binging on Netflix, with the occasional happy hour. I love reading, cooking, watching ballet on Youtube (not sure how or why thats a thing) and making my own clothes!
Hello ! I am looking for a single room. I am a 24yo from Paris, who recently moved to Melbourne (few days ago) for 3 months. I’m an easy going person and pride myself on being clean, quite and respectful. I have a working visa, so will be ideally working in the city. I’m not a huge party person, but definitely enjoy a night out or drink after work. Have a nice day! Charlene.
G'day! I'm a 24 year old guy working full-time in a media role with the St Kilda Football Club. Love talking sport, but also love heading out to gigs, exploring new places and keeping fit as well. Ready to move in now, but can be flexible with the move in date. I'm outgoing, easy to get along with and love to get out and socialise. While my job takes up a lot of my time, always happy to have a chat and grab a drink/or coffee together whenever i'm free. I'm clean, tidy and respectful of space.
Where to start I'm a easy going guy, own my own electrical sub contracting business that i've been on a break from for the last year. Currently living in Mackay QLD which is my home town and looking forward to moving back to melbourne soon. I play guitar and didgeridoo every now and then. I do yoga, go to the gym, becoming a vegetarian and consider myself to be a spiritual open minded sort of person (sort of an omnists). I keep to myself most of the time but would enjoy socialising with house mates if thats what you're into. I don't really watch TV or sports (trying to get into AFL) would prefer to go see a band. I dont mind the occasional beer or glass of red. **** I will need a off street garage or at least car park for my work ute and preferably have some garage type storage **** thanks for reading :)
Hi all, I’m Rachael, 26 years old from the U.K. I’m arriving in Melbourne on 6th November and have a working holiday visa, but planning to be based in Melbourne for the whole year. Would be looking to find a furnished room in a friendly house share soon after arriving. I’m a History teacher here in England and am all registered with a teaching agency in Melbourne should something suitable come up for the new academic year. Either way, I’ll definitely be looking for a job once I arrive but have plenty of savings in the meantime so rent and bills won’t be a problem. I like to keep active by playing netball, going to the gym, for walks etc and am generally a chilled, considerate person but also friendly/bubbly and always keen for a chat. Love a good brunch and coffee too! Have lived in house shares all during my time at uni so got plenty of experience with that. If you want to know anymore, just drop me a message and look forward to hearing from you. Thanks, Rach :)
Recently moved from Brisbane to Melbourne. I have been living in Fitzroy for the past few months but unfortunately my lease will be up at the start of Dec so looking to try a new area of Melbourne. Have always lived with flatmates so I'm pretty easy to get along with. Work hard/gym during the week and then like to socialise on weekends but not into partying much these days. Love a good brunch! Prefer to live with people who like to keep common areas clean & tidy. Would also love to have my own bathroom if possible :)
Hey I'm Jess I'm a psychology graduate living in Melbourne, currently working at a cafe in the CBD. I'm English and have lived in and out of Melbourne since 2014. I'm friendly and outgoing whilst also being clean and tidy. I love going out for dinner and to bars with friends keeping it humble during the week and going out / doing things on the weekend !
I am clean and friendly! I'm looking for a short-term stay (about until March). I'm moving from Brisbane in Jan to study, so I'm looking for something -not too expensive- and as close as I can to the city. I've lived with other people before and happy to do it again. I pretty much clean for work and I do the same at home. I will give you all the space you want but won't be awkwardly antisocial.
I'm very easy going and tolerant. I get along well with most folks. I'm always interested in stimulating conversation and learning about new things. As regards work, I have a PhD in mathematics and I work for a city University. My other interests include foreign language, guitar, chess, history and cooking. I prefer to live in a relaxed environment. If you would be interested in having me to share, please feel free to contact me.
I'm a full time student, I work part time in a pastry kitchen on my days off of school. I am generally a quiet person. I respect people's privacy and personal space. I consider myself a considerate person as I always clean up after myself in the kitchen and the bathroom. Pretty much as house-trained as anyone can be! :)
Hi all, Originally from Sydney and spent the last year settling in in a place all by myself! Hoping to move in with someone laid back who doesn't mind the occasional drink (or doesn't mind if I have one?). I don't like to bring the party home, train often - in the mornings, and work fairly long hours so will be a pretty quiet housemate! That said always up for the odd meal and/or chat in the evening. Also love my sports- either live or catch up. Cons: not big on reality TV but you do you! Flexible with time frame, ideally 6 months+ and flexible with a move date, anytime between now and Dec 1. Look forward to hearing from you Thanks! Maddy
