I'm very down to earth and enjoy my own space. I love dogs and games. Dont mind to chat over drinks. I'm a student at William Angliss and love to cook during my free time :)
Hi, I am mid 30s professional working in events and marketing/advertising. I am friendly and personable, get along with everyone, pretty compassionate, have a positive outlook on life. I am a very busy human and I work long hours but love to rest. I travel a lot for work but also enjoy a bit of home time every now and then. I have an amazing, docile, beautiful and beyond well training Greyhound who just wants cuddles and to sleep. Everyone falls in love with him. I think it important to be comfortable with the people you live. It is important to contribute to a clean shared space and be respectful of each other, habits, sleeping patterns and lifestyles.
Hi. We are a Belgian couple and we are looking for a private bedroom. We would like to stay in Sydney at least until next year. I really want to find us a twin room near Neutral Bay because I found 2 jobs there and it will be great if then we can come to visit. We are friendly, quiet, clean and respectful. Pauline and Xavier
I'm small, sassy and sparkly (that's what my dating profile says, anyway). I work 4 days a week in a government contact centre while completing my Master in Publishing and Communications. I love books! Talk books to me. I have a huge collection that I love to share around with friends and I love anything book-related. I practise yoga at home most days. I've also recently got into running and try to do semi-regular races, with my first 10k coming up in December. I go to the gym 3-4 times a week and I really value my health and fitness in general :) I really love dogs, and greyhounds especially - I used to foster for the Greyhound Adoption Program. I'm a big AFL fan (go Cats!) and go to most home games in Geelong with my parents during the season. I love glitter and music festivals and dressing up when I go out to dance. I'm partial to dumplings and red wine, keen to get back into hiking and always have a show on the go on Netflix. I'm really looking for a cosy home with a decent-sized bedroom so I can practise yoga in the mornings. I work in the city and study in Parkville so being central is important to me - I don't have a car so want to be close to a train station ideally. I'm pretty busy and don't spend all that much time at home but when I do I'll probably be in my room or chilling on the couch with a book/Netflix, cooking up something tasty or having a couple of glasses of wine with a friend. I like my home to be a relaxing space. I love to get dressed up, go out and have a crazy time but I don't like to bring the party home with me, so I'm not looking for a party house. I also value my alone time a whole lot and personal space is important to me. I've lived in sharehouses all my adult life so I know the drill. I'm tidy and quite clean, especially if there's some kind of roster in place. I like a clean kitchen and neat communal spaces. I've lived in my current place for 3+ years and I love it but I'm struggling to afford it at the moment so looking for something quite a bit cheaper. Hit me up if you think I'd work for your home!
Hi all, the names Scott, I'm 31 from England and loooking for a place from between Elwood to Richmond kind of area. I'm easy to get along with sociable but respect other people's routines and boundaries all the same. I work full time as a landscaper mon-fri and some Saturdays also so you will most likely only see me for an hour or two on an evening as I normally get early nights for work. I'm looking for somewhere for 6 months at the moment as I'm not sure what my plans will be after that time but I'll give you due notice as to my intentions. Anyway if you have any questions or have a place that might suit then send me a message over, cheers for looking have a nice day Scott.
I'm Canadian, but I've been living in Melbourne for 4 years. I'm extremely tidy, and request others be the same. My background is in Finance and Law, and I currently work full time for a software company with a few side projects on the go. Generally I split my time 50/50 working from home and the office - so I won't get in the way of other activities in the house. But that being said, I do need a house that is relatively peaceful. While I enjoy a nice dinner party, I do not want to live in a party house. I'm an early morning person - generally in the office before most people are awake so I can be home by early afternoon to relax when the day allows. I like to cook when I have the time, so a good kitchen would be great. Looking for a house/flat share, preferably with only 1 other person, and preferably a working professional. Or also a team up - I have enough furniture to furnish the place too. My current apartment has a spare bedroom which we use for storage, and also a spare double bed I have so guests/friends can stay over when needed. It would be great to have a spare bedroom again though it's not mandatory. I'm looking for a move date are mid-November but can be flexible.
Hey! I'm Pip, I'm originally from Adelaide, and relocating to Melbourne for work. I love running, exercising and being outdoors, and enjoy cooking up a storm. My ideal Saturday is having a friend or two around for a laid back glass of wine, and making a legen-dairy cheese platter. I am very respectful of others space, always clean up after myself, and always willing to help around the house :)
cheers mates, i'm maggie, 26, from italy! i live in melbourne now since 4 months in a hostel but i think now it is time to get my own room!:) i'm pastry chef, i love to cook, sitting together and having good conversation. feel free to text me:)
Hi my name is Reese and I am a 29 yo landscape gardner operating throughout the south eastern suburbs and I am about to finish a diploma in Program management. I enjoy gardening, catching up with friends and relaxing with a beer. I also love to clean. My partners name is Ben and he works in the city as an engineer. He enjoys going to the beach, camping and hanging out with a beer. We often go camping on weekends so we aren't always home. When we are you will usually see us enjoying each others company over some food a beer and playing with the dog. We both love playing with our puppy and take her twice on daily walks. She is a 6 month old Kavoodle fluff ball of happiness. She does not shed and is super smart with all the training we have provided. We are laid back, tidy and respectful and have lived in enough share houses to understand the ins and outs. We respect others boundaries but enjoy hanging out and any conversations. We would be looking to make a home and spend the remainder of the lease or longer (a year at least) in our newfound home. If we sound like a great team up please be in touch as we are looking to move ASAP in the mentioned suburbs (South-eastern suburbs)
Currently commuting from the Mornington Peninsula to the Westside for work, and looking to move closer to the city before purchasing a place. I live a very active lifestyle (forgive me if not around) so when I'm not working as a Portfolio Analyst you'll find me training on most days (if not twice a day). Home is my rest time with the occasional work. So a calm aura never goes astray. On the creative side of life you’ll find me mixing away on my laptop making music. Love an active morning complimented with coffee (incl. brunch), and a wine to unwind during my weekly meal prep sessions. I listen to a diverse set of music, and love a good podcast on my long commutes. Definitely an orderly person so looking for a place/flat mate alike.
Hi there, I am looking for somewhere to live, preferably around Windsor, South Yarra, Richmond etc. I am from a farm in the central west of NSW but studied engineering in Sydney (I swear I'm not boring though!) and recently picked up a job in Melbourne. I will be working full time from roughly 8am-6pm. I'm 26 years old and looking forward to making the transition to the Melbourne life. I like my own company but also like to have housemates I can still socialise and hang out with. I went to boarding school for 6 years and have lived with friends ever since so I'm pretty well house trained.
Hey there. We are Ben and Toni and we are a pair of teachers from the UK, currently heading to Melbourne for the second half(ish) of our working holiday visas. We’ve both lived with a range of different people and think we’re both pretty adaptable and genuinely easy to get along with. We are always clean (especially because we’ve both lived with “those people” who aren’t) and we love to cook! Often we’ll keep ourselves to ourselves, but we also really love to chat (especially Ben who can talk for hours)! All in all, we think we’re pretty easy to live with and will hopefully help to make wherever we live a happy place (super cheesy, I know)!
The boring stuff... I'm currently living in Wellington, NZ but I am moving to Melbourne by the 1st of November (but can pay for a couple of weeks before I move there). I am hoping to find a house with an outdoor area and near transportation to get to/from the city easier. A bit about me, as much as I love a cheeky glass(es) of wine, I do also like my own space to read, try being creative and nap. I grew up with a mother who thought a spotless house was messy so I have some cleaning PTSD. But cleaning and baking are my 2 biggest stress reliefs so if you lived with me you'll have a tidy place but might gain a bit of weight depending on how stressful my week was....If required, I can learn to bake healthier alternatives.
Hi I'm Lucy, I work in a law firm in business services (HR) while also being a Nutritionist on the side. I'm considerate of those I live with and self-aware. I'm clean, friendly and down to earth. Looking to move immediately.
Hey :) I am Mona, 22, from Germany and I am coming to Melbourne for an internship in October. I am super excited to meet new friends from all over the world and share a house with great people I can call my friends. I am a clean and tidy person and always clean up after myself. I'm easy to get along/live with and I am always down for a barbecue or chat with the roomies. On weekends I like to do sports, go out with friends and experience new adventures. I would love to have roommates who share the same interests - I am looking forward to meet you!
I decided to move from Canada in November of 2016 and have elected to spend my time in Australia in the city of Melbourne! I'm quite clean but not an absolute neat freak as I don't mind organized clutter in the right places, and I'm remarkably easy going and laid back. I'll definitely be a very social house mate and I'm always down for a vino or six after work. I currently manage MANIAX Melbourne and am going on a student visa November/December 2018. The plan is to finish school and get my PR, so I'm not going to be a flaky backpacker that leaves unexpectedly to chase an adventure. Before I left Canada I was a fitness instructor at a trampoline park, so I'm a bit of a health nut with a pasta problem, and before that I was an antiques consigner, so I love design and really old things. I'm extremely passionate about music, listening and recording, but my favourite pastimes are split between napping, working out and drunk baking. Beyond that I actually own my own house back in Canada (I'm currently renting it out) and I believe that that gives me a different perspective on renting with consideration to getting the rent in on time, as well as taking care of the place. Also, I make a mean batch of pancakes, I can supply the Canadian maple syrup, AND I have a Costco card. You cannot go wrong.
Hey I'm Stu. I'm 24 and work full time in marketing. Love to keep fit with gym and sports, and enjoy getting out of the house, meeting new people and keeping social in general. I have a partner who lives on the Gold Coast so am regularly flying up north to see him on the weekends, and occasionally head home on to the country to visit the family. Ideally I'd love to live with people who are friendly and social (drinks, movies, etc.), like to hang out but also respect each other's privacy, and who are clean. My lease for my current apartment ends on Oct 19th, but happy to move earlier if I find the right spot. Hope to chat soon.
Looking to move with my greyhound Durrie!! She's super chills and just sleeps most of the day. Currently studying Wildlife and Conservation Biology at Deakin and working part-time in Cremorne. (Once uni is finished for the semester I will be working full-time). I love being active, going to the beach and shopping. I also love going out to see my mates/having a dance. I am very easy going and am always happy to have a drink but also appreciate and respect time needed in peace x
Salut, I am a 24 yo from Lebanon, I’ve been in Melbourne for a year now as a full time masters student. I am an electrical engineer who’s trying to get recognised here so that I can work in my field (take time with all the tests I have to take). For now I am working as a part time waiter in a Lebanese restaurant. I like sports so I do soccer once a week, hoping to fit squash in my schedule too! I have also just started to learn the djembe and I’m into chill music and socialising over a drink. I’m usually outside the house either in the university or at work, but I have my days chilling around the house. I like to keep my area and the shared ones tidy and organised as possible. I like to live in a fun, relaxed and sweet atmosphere, and I respect space. I am friendly with any type of housemates as long as there's a good vibe flow! Gladly wanna hear back from you!!
Sam and I are moving to Melbourne from New Zealand and we are excited to make the most of this awesome city by finding a lovely house/apartment to call home! We love keeping active, being outdoors, catching up with friends and cooking delicious meals/eating out. We will both be work full-time and enjoy travelling whenever possible. We are both very houseproud and keep spaces clean and clutter-free. We're both pretty social but enjoy downtime watching movies, reading or getting in some yoga!
I'm pretty chill as a housemate, i'm tidy and a half decent cook. I'm currently doing a Master of teaching and also working part-time so I'm not at home much during the week. Keen to make friends, always up for chats, but also pretty independent. Don't smoke or come with pets :)
