Just moved back after 2 years in the UK. Used to living in sharehouses – I’m easy going, clean, sociable, respectful of others and more than happy to help out with cleaning duties. Looking to move into a friendly house close to the city.
Hi :) I'm Fred, 23 years old, freshly graduated and will be relocating from Adelaide to Sydney for full time work in the CBD as a graduate lawyer. I'm quiet, tidy and considerate. I love animals, and am passionate about my nerdy hobbies :) Ideally, I am looking to share an apartment within Inner or surrounding suburbs, with convenient public transport to the CBD. I would mostly consider myself an introvert, and so do value both your privacy as well as my own. With that being said, I do treasure meaningful friendships and thoughtful conversations! To give you an idea of my personality, some of my favourite films include: The Intouchables, Drive, The Place Beyond the Pines, Memento, and of course all of the classics like Forrest Gump and Shawshank Redemption. Please shoot me a message if you have a suitable apartment, or if you're also hunting for apartments and think we'd be a good fit!
Hi, I'm Alex. I love travelling, meeting people from different cultures, spirituality, psychology, dancing, exercise and having fun! I am currently looking for a place just for 2 months so preferably furnished. I may also consider longer term but I will be away for 5 weeks (jun-July) and would like to find someone to fill the rent for me. I work about 10 hours a week providing ABA therapy to children on the autism spectrum, one afternoon tutoring at university and the rest developing a mindfulness class/business. My type of a good time is turning the music up at home, alone, and having a great dance around doing things i would never do in front of people. I also love to chill in front of the TV and enjoy a good philosophical conversation. No politics please! Also love beach and all things outdoors. Keen to meet like-minded individuals!
I am a recent Uni grad trying to start my career as a Recruitment Consultant, so far with about 6 months experience. I work full-time in the City (Town Hall) and just started going to the gym so in a bit of a health-kick at the moment, I also love my sports, and I will be going out regularly on weekends to attend Sydney FC/Sydney Swans games. I will be coming with a Laptop, Xbox One and Mini-SNES so hopefully you have a decent TV I can plug those consoles in and I'm happy to host games nights and what not (I have 2 controllers for both so far but i'm happy to buy more if we need to). I don't mind having a few drinks occasionally either, but i wouldn't call myself a big drinker. I consider myself a peaceful, quiet, tidy person. I will rarely bring any unwanted guests over and i will let you know in advance if i do. I don't smoke and i won't be able to live with someone who does as I have a medical condition. I don't have a car so i will require somewhere that is from walking distance to the train station or close enough to the City where i can catch the bus/walk. I absolutely love animals and i will be looking to adopt one so i hope your accommodation is pet-friendly (but it's okay if it isn't). Last but not least i respect other people's personal space and i expect others to do the same for me.
- 33 year old professional, working in the Insurance sector. - Quiet, clean, tidy, homebody. - Family focused (often spend weekends with the family). - Week days: quiet nights after work and gym. - Weekends: enjoy quiet beers and a good meal with friends as opposed to a crazy night out but not opposed to the occasional cheeky bender.
Hi my name is Pim Rietveld. I'm 21 years old and from the Netherlands. I study environmental science at the HAS University of applied science. For my third year of my study I need to go abroad for 5 months of internship. My internship is at CORE in North Sydney. At the moment I have a room at 2stay, but i'm not happy with it, so i'm searching for another room. I'm a social person and also neat. I like to do some drink or other activities such as hiking and traveling.
Hello everyone! I am an electrical engineer from New Zealand. I am tidy, friendly and respectful of people's spaces. I have a normal weekday job, so I won't come home in the AM and wake everyone up. I am looking for proffessional people with good positive vibes to move in with. I really like making big roasts and i don't mind cooking flat dinners, grabbing a drink, movie nights or go for an adventurous wonder!
I am very clean and organised with bills and living expenses. I'm easy to get along with, and keep to myself most of the time. I'm a professional hairdresser that loves movies and tv. I have a very fluffy cat called Marmalade, she is very affectionate and loving with most people.
Hi! My name is Lizzie, I'm 21 and studying ancient history and archaeology full-time at Macquarie University. I've lived out of home before so I know the drill. :) I live in Canberra at the moment, but am looking to move up to Sydney (either near Macquarie Uni or near public transport that’ll take me there, listed suburbs are just ideas) in mid-late April (can be flexible with dates), until mid July with the possibility of staying the rest of the year. I’m generally pretty quiet, a bit of a hermit and I like my own space, but I’m also very friendly and don’t mind a chat or to hang out occasionally. In my free time, I play video games and other dorky stuff like that. And of course, you can have access to my consoles if you like, but I warn you, I’m a demon at Mario Kart! :) I’m currently in the process of cutting down and quitting smoking. When I do smoke, I try to be considerate about it. I NEVER smoke indoors (or even near open windows/doors) or in the vicinity of non-smokers, and I keep my space clean. I try not to smell of smoke, either. Other than that, I’m pretty easy to live with. My party days are behind me, I just enjoy an occasional glass of wine. Very happy to share meals or catch up every now and then, and to give you space when you need it. I'm also fine with living with children and am happy to babysit (I worked in childcare for three years!). Pets are definitely fine with me, but I can’t live with cats, I’m deathly allergic. I clean up after myself, particularly in common areas. Furnished room would be helpful but not a requirement. Own bathroom would be a huge plus, happy to pay a bit extra for one. Not wanting to share a bedroom, sorry. I receive a regular income and my scholarship pays for most of my other expenses so you don't have to worry about my rent/bills being paid on time! Well, I think that’s it! Any questions, send me a message. Hope to find my new home soon! :)
Hey guys, I'm going on holiday in May, and my lease is ending in 2 weeks time, so I would need a place where I cans stay for 3 weeks starting from 7th of April. I'm looking for a short rental only. I work in the city, so would need a place ideally close to train lines, and/or within 15 kms from the centre. If you have anything available get in touch please. Thanks, adam
I am as easy going person who is respectful of other people's space. I love to have a glass of wine, a good laugh and to unwind in front of the TV. I am an animal lover and ideally would like a pet friendly place so I can get a small dog, although this is not essential.
I’m a fulltime student at Macquarie Uni and I’m also a part time student at SAE institute (Chippendale) so I would love to live in a fairly central location as most of my time is spent at either of these locations. I’m a pretty chilled wine drinking-Netflix watching- music and theatre loving woman. I’m an easy going relaxed person who loves socialising and having a good laugh.I also understand and respect people’s space and privacy, I sometimes very much value time to myself as well. I’m clean & and tidy and would be more than happy to contribute to all the “less than glamorous” choirs needing to be done. I am honest and trustworthy.
I'm a 27 year old Engineer just recently moved to Sydney and will be working all week looking for some good housemates for company that may or may not want to do things some evenings or at the weekends! I enjoy going to the gym/yoga during the week but very partial to a glass (or two) of wine on a Friday night! Need parking with the place though as I will be driving to work in the week.
Hi everyone, I'm a 24 year old Vancouverite in Aus on work holiday visa. I've been living in Melbourne the last 6 months, but am on the move up to Sydney for a job offer with the Canadian government. As such, I'm looking for a place to hold me until the end of my visa (early August). I'm a fairly social person and like to know my roommates. I like hanging out on the occasional night in, sharing TV binge sessions, and catching a drink in town. Looking for new friends to tag memes in (my old Tinder line, lol - I still am!!). I also value my personal space and keeping communal areas clean! All in all, I believe I'm a chill person to live with who is accountable and takes on responsibility when appropriate. Ideally, I'm looking for a furnished private room under $300 a week within 30 min walk to Circular Quay. I know it's a lot to ask, so I'm flexible. Given my 4 month timeline, sublets or shorter term leases are fine with me. I'm starting my new job the first week of April, so anytime after the 3rd would be great to organise viewings, etc. Thanks :)
G'day guys My name is Rhys and I'm 26 and have been in Sydney for little over a year. Originally from country Victoria. I work in construction and work 10-12 hour days. Looking for a nice neat place to call home for a few more years left in Sydney. I'm easy going, not one to shy from a beer or a chin wag. I like the mu fishing and camping and don't mind a pub feed. I am a smoker though just so you are aware. At the moment I only have a bed and a few belongings, but can buy or chip in for some furniture if needed. If I'm the one you are after I'll make sure I buy the first slab :) Cheers
Hi I am a looking for a private room in a flatshare environment. Late 40's working Professional, mature and have respect for home, people and surrounds. Easy going and friendly, looking to share with similar housemates. I enjoy most ball sports, Soccer, AFL, League, watching not playing these days, lol. Too many footy war - injuries. I am a contract Project Manager that is currently working in the CBD for a large corporate client and looking for a place within a 5km radius of the CBD so that I don't have to commute to far or too long. I am typically out of the house around 7:30-8:00am and return around 6:30- 7pm most weeknights. Weekends, I am pretty much away every weekend up the coast in QLD, sun and surf. Don't mind going out for dinner or getting some takeaway, with a glass of wine and good chat about nothing in particular, good social chat after work. I am currently sharing a house in the south western suburbs and want to move closer to the CBD to reduce my commute time. I will require some form of parking, either off street or on street (not metered). Ideally off street if possible. I am looking for a furnished private room, ideally with a Queen or Double bed, in the following areas which include: Inner Sydney areas : Balmain, Rozelle, Lilyfield, Annandale, Petersham, Stanmore, Newtown, Glebe, Ultimo, Pyrmont, Surry Hills. Easy walking distance to CBD or short trip on public transport. North Sydney areas: Milsons Point, North Sydney, Kirribilli, Cremorne, Crows Nest, St Leonards, Cammeray, Wollstonecraft and Mosman as a my preferred locations. I don't have any furniture, so I prefer a furnished place. Just me, my clothes, a couple of bags, my car and my charming cheeky humour, lol. Happy to chat and share a wine after work. Drop me a line if you have a room for a fair price. I do have a budget which I am trying to stick to. Talk soon. Regards Eddie
