I am a youngish 50 year old who works in retail at Kilburn. Quietly spoken but sociable and have a quirky sense of humor. Some of my interests include walking, cycling, dining out, reading, movies, and Science Fiction/Fantasy. I'm also an active participant in 'Meetup'. Although I will consider anywhere in the metropolitan area, ideally I would like a place which is reasonably close to my work. Also, I am moving out of a large complex of units and would like something a little more private. I can be flexible on length of stay. I have several years' experience in share house living.
I'm a very decent well educated individual. Friendly and great to chat with. I respect individuality and space. I am very neat and tidy. I am working as a full time manager in the retail industry. I love animals, gardening, trekking, cooking, watching TV
Hi, I am an easy going and adaptable person, meanwhile respects the values and cultures of other housemates in the accommodation. Am working for a Hotel in the city, currently with PM shifts. Looking for a fun place with either front/ backyard attached and a air condition in the room to bear this summer heat.
I work full time so rarely home during the weekdays. I am in stable, full time employment of 6 years . I spend a lot of weekends out of the house surfing, running or riding. I love keeping fit. I am clean and keep to myself (will of course say hello and how was your day etc etc) , not into parties, and I don't smoke. I have no kids. I have owned my previous place so I understand about respecting personal items and space etc. I would like a room to myself where I can store a small amount of furniture and would prefer my own bathroom. I would like to rent a room in the Modbury area as it's convenient being close to my work or alternatively near the western beaches as I love the sea.. I would like bills and Internet included so hassle free. I have a car so would prefer a safe neighbourhood or driveway to park in. I have also lived in Adelaide for 30 years...gone to school and Uni here, so not your typical Sri Lankan...very Aussie.
Hello. I am in my early 40's and am a professional who works full time within the Regency Park area. I have been with the same employer for 20+ years and love my job. I have recently separated so would like to move into the area. I have my own car and would prefer off street parking if this was possible. I can supply my own furnishings. I am fully independent. I have a small dog but have other arrangements for him so it is not essential, but would be nice to see him occasionally ...but again not crucial as I have other opportunities to see him. I am very neat and tidy, and keep to myself. I am getting back into fitness and healthy eating. I don't smoke but would occasionally have a social drink. I am completely respectful and respect one's privacy. I am initially looking for approx. 2-3 months but maybe longer.
I'm Tannia from India, I've completed my Masters and looking to start my career, love making new friends, fun loving. I've been in Adelaide for 3months and loved it ..
I am a 18 year old student from the country seeking accommodation whilst studying in Adelaide CBD, I will also be studying part-time. I am easy to get along with, and fairly flexible in terms of the structure of living arrangements.
I'm a 34 y/o female currently working for family. I am very quiet and keep to myself. I have an OCD (obcessive cleaniness disorder). I am a clean freak so therefore there's no mess trails left behind me.
I am a tourism student from the Netherlands. I am living now in Sevilla, Spain for half a year, and after this my new adventure begins: Adelaide! I will have my internship here for about 5 months. Since I have never left Europe before, and Australia always have been a dream for me, I am very excited to go. I am an open minded, fun and life enjoying person and I hope to find some nice people to live with!
26, employed, non smoker. Work as a therapy assistant and a tutor. Studying sociology/gender studies at adelaide uni. I don't mind being a quiet housemate who keeps to myself or more friendly and social. Just looking for nice, respectful housemates who treat their place like a home.
Hi all! I'm Ash and I currently work full time in logistics for a mining company. I'm pretty social and always enjoy going out and hope to find people that also like to have fun but still can respect each other and the house we share. I have worked as a chef so I can cook pretty well. I'm always happy to cook for others and I'm also rather tidy and always clean up after myself. I also have a cat that I'd like to bring with me, he usually just spends most of the day/night outside.
I am a 32 years old physician from Egypt and in February 2017 i will start working at The Queen Elizabeth hospital in Adelaide. I am searching for a place to stay at for 2-3 months. I am a calm comfortable person to live with. I enjoy quiet nights with good company as well as respecting people's privacy. i do not smoke.
I am very friendly and outgoing and would like to team up with someone who has flexibility to move into a nice new share house property during the first week of February. Preferring to share with someone who is reliable in every sense and also someone who is clean and organised. If you are interested in sharing with me I need you to contact me as soon as possible so we can plan the move.
Hey There! Im Rachael, 24 years old and have been living in share houses 2 - 3 years so i know the drill by now. I work full time, and enjoy going to the gym after work. I think i'm pretty easy to live with and wont hide away in my room when i'm home. I'm clean and will respect others space and items (no need to put your name on your food :P) My lease is ending on the 20th of Feb and am needing to find a place before hand. Happy to team up or move in. I do have an indoor cat, she is no nuisance. She literally just sleeps all day and greets you at the door when you walk in the door and rolls over for a tummy rub like a dog. She doesn't scratch or bite like normal cats, shes very mellow and has been known to turn previous housemates who are dog only lovers in cat lovers by the time they leave, ive even had one request daily snapchats haha :) I am a great lover of coffee, cider and wine. Anything that involves those things, i will more than happily join in :). I love going out for brunch on weekends and having some drinks in the afternoon. I would love to find some housemates who would also turn into friends :) So please send me a message, would love to chat and get something sorted before i become homeless! :)
Hey! My name is Jack and I'm moving from Brisbane to Adelaide to start a new job working in the financial sector! I am a fun guy who likes to have a nice glass of red after work, along with a home cooked meal (and the occasional UberEats for the lazy days). I am not a party person at all, but I do enjoy having a good drink with some friends. I am moving down with my best friend, Taco - who is a 2 year old black pug. She loves people and is pretty much the embodiment of a lazy cat... She's still fun though! I am looking for either a room in an existing house or to start up a new share house. I don't know anything about Adelaide so I am very open to all locations! Please feel free to message me if you want to live together :)
Friendly Young Couple, Quiet and Easy Going seeking a room to rent. We are looking at moving asap or next week - mid week. Looking for a place close to the city or in the city. One of us works full time and one of us is studying part-time and job-seeking. Happy to meet and get to know each other first so we can see if we will get along...Which I'm sure we will! If you are a couple and want another couple to move in, then we might be the perfect housemates for you!! We are looking for short-term e.g. a couple of months maybe but if it works out great then we could stay longer, as ideally we want long-term accommodation. We aren't noisy and prefer to chill out and watch movies and not to party and make noise. But if you have parties we do not mind. We are clean and tidy but not OCD and just want a peaceful place to live where we can relax. We prefer not to live with anyone that is OCD and has crazy, unreasonable rules because we've done that already and it didn't work out. Saying that, we will definetly respect your home and the way you like it to be. One of us loves to cook and doesn't mind cooking for other people. We are not nosey or annoying - just a cool couple that need a room to rent! Hoping to get something around $200/per week or less but we're open to all options within reason for the right housemates and place. We are pretty much ready to go-can move in pretty much straight away or next week sometime. We don't require furniture but if you include furniture that is cool too. If you have wifi that'd be a bonus and we definetly prefer to use minimal electricity to keep the power bills low!! So housemates that like to keep the bills minimal would be preferable. We will always pay rent on time so you can rest assured!! We have a tiny cat which doesn't make noise, is very small and will stay in our room if need be. She pretty much sleeps all day on our bed. You won't even know she exists! She has a very small voice-box, so she can't "meow" above a quiet whisper. She is pretty much mute. Very clean too! But if you can't accept pets we will have to find something else I guess but please have a chat with us first! Thanks for reading my essay!! Hope to hear from you soon!! Kind regards, Zak and Valerie.
Planning to relocate to Adelaide. Quiet, clean and easy going, enjoys the outdoors. Respect every religion and gender orientation. Not exactly a neat person, but you will not find my socks lying around the house. A simple kitchen or kitchenette suffice as I may cook simple meals occasionally.
My name is Jonathon and I'm currently entering my third year at uni studying Journalism and International relations at UniSA. I have had 18 months experience living in share houses so I am clean and considerate. I work in a busy cafe in the city and will always pay my rent on time. I enjoy being social and will love having chats with my housemates and meeting new people over a drink or two or some good food! :D I also enjoy my down time and am looking for housemates who won't get offended if I want to spend a lot of time in my room. Let me know if you have a room available! :D
Hey there, I am Urja from India, I am a very friendly, a kind person and specially a clean and a responsible person. I would be studying at The University of South Australia. I am looking forward to stay with clean and friendly people. Hope to see you soon! :)
Looking for a place in a share house, less than a half hours bike ride from Adelaide's CBD (<10km). I'd love to move into a fairly social and easygoing place, but I also understand the need for a bit of quiet time. I'm clean and tidy, and more than happy to chip in with jobs around the house. I work part time at the Adelaide Central Markets, and I study medicine at UofA. If you've got a place available let me know; ready to move in whenever you are.
I'm a 19 year old trans boy looking for a place to live with my dog (medium mixed breed, has anxiety but other than that he's well-behaved) and my bird (he can live outside most of the time). I can pay pet bond or provide references for my dog if that helps. I have lived in a share house before, and am a moderately tidy person.
easy going extremely considerate clean very reliable housemate. i work full time in wingfield. during the week im out the house from 4:30am till 5:00pm. gym before work so im in bed early but not a light sleeper so no problems if someone is watching tv in the room next to me. i have a 1 year old house trained mini foxie he hardly makes any noise and loves people. we like to keep active.
I am respectful, tidy and pay bills on time. I love a good convo but also like to spend time chilling alone. I am Vegan and live a fairly minimalist lifestyle so I don't have much "stuff". I love heading to markets, getting into nature, dancing and learning new info about anything 😊 I don't party much these days and when I do, I go out. Non smoker/drug user.
I'm an easy going human. :) Yoga Teacher, Florist, Retail worker & Science student at Flinders. Looking for a nice little home with great people to spend some of my down time.
Hi, I'm a Kenyan Engineering and finance student at Adelaide uni, it's not as bad as it sounds. I'm outgoing, love a bit of traveling, reading and Netflix but my usual routine is work and uni. I've lived in a house share and know how to do my share of housework, I'm tidy and respect people's privacy. I'd love to be friends with my housemate and enjoy occasional dinners but if you're not about that, I'm happy to just share the space. I'm happy to answer any more questions :) x.
I am a photographer moving to Adelaide in June. Super chilled, friendly and epic-ly clean. I'm looking for a place close to the city and some happy roommates to live with. I'll be doing my scuba course while I am there and working part-time as well. I love the outdoors, cycling, swimming and occasionally drinking a glass of wine at the end of a hard day over some good conversations. I am looking to live with nice people who live with the same ideologies like me - Good Vibes Only!
I study exercise and sports science (3rd year) I love sports and health but also love to relax. I work whenever I'm not uni (weekends) in the Barossa Valley where I also play netball. I am very tidy and easy to get along with.
I am very friendly, fun and most importantly clean and very tidy. I work Monday-Friday on a rotating roster on the afternoon shift at a pharmaceutical warehouse in Thebarton so I am looking for a place nearby work, I also work saturday nights at a club and generally go out during the day on weekends. I keep to myself and do my own thing, I enjoy my private space and will not annoy anyone. I also have a car and motorbike so will require 1 space off street parking ( my car and bike usually fit in one space) I would require a private bathroom or ensuite as I have way too many beauty products and appliances.
hello,i'm looking for a place which may share with locals or international students as i love different cultures. I'm clean, social and have a sense of humour,I'm keen to live with like-minded people and have fun in our spare time. Actually, i prefer to live somewhere close to city as i study in the university of adelaide, but it really depends as long as the traffic is convenient
Greetings! So I’ve just finished a Bachelor of Software Engineering at UniSA and am looking to move out. I’ve been offered a PhD but have deferred it to the end of the year as I’m working on some of my own projects at the moment, as well as applying for the Royal Military College. I’ll be working at UniSA as a researcher and am financially secure. I’m a pretty non-dramatic person and will happily compromise and calmly discuss any issues to find solutions. I like to be hygienic and organised, but am not pedantic about it. I’m introspective but outgoing and hence conscientious of others; socially progressive but non-confrontational, so accepting of other viewpoints. I enjoy time alone to recharge, and understand when others need that too; always up for chats about interesting topics though! At heart I'm a geek who loves puzzles and over-analysing books and films, and I train in martial arts. While it’s always fun to meet new people, if you’re just looking for someone to split the rent with who won’t bother you, I can be that person. Short version: Looking for the perfect housemate? Choose dis guy! *Thumbs pointed at self* :)
Hey I am a busy student and part time worker and when I am not studying/working I am at the gym, doing muay thai, reading, playing guitar, learning spanish, eating or bombing out on the couch. I am pretty independent and mellow and am not looking for a party house.. Would be keen to live with chilled out and friendly housemates that are clean and respectful. I don't mind a beer and banter every now and then.. I love smashing the beach in summer and intend to be there often so if you are the west side is a plus in my eyes. I'm after a fairly large room as I'll need a study space. Cheers !
I am an easy going, fun guy looking for a new place that is close to work in the north and western suburbs. I am kept pretty busy with work but still enjoy a good social drink on the weekends. Also, I don't mind a quiet night in watching Netflix or a couple games of FIFA. I would like to bring my own bedroom furniture.
I'm honest, a good communicator and social but not a party animal (anymore). I'm a travel addict, love good food and wine, and even more so when I can share it with friends and family. I'm moving back to Adelaide temporarily (somewhere between 3-6 months depending on the circumstances) and will unfortunately have to start searching for work while I'm there. Don't worry though as I will be using the rent I get for leasing my own apartment out to pay you ;) I'm very respectful, clean and considerate - and I won't mind if you want to keep to yourself or socialise - both are fine for me - just looking to share a place with like-minded people. I'll keep this short seeing as it's not a dating profile lol, but if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
I'm laid back, approachable, friendly, clean, low maintenance, and always pay bills/rent on time. I'm from the United States and going to be working in Adelaide starting in April. For the past three years I've been living with friends and working in Atlanta, Georgia. I enjoy going out for drinks, live music, hitting the beach, traveling and meeting new people.
Originally from Melbourne, I moved to Adelaide to start work full-time in a research scientist position. This keeps me fairly busy during the week but outside of work I enjoy cycling, cooking, reading and music. I mostly cook stir-fries and pastas during the week but will happily experiment with anything involving chillies. I'm a tidy, friendly and respectful housemate, with plenty of previous sharehouse experience. I enjoy living in a social and independent sharehouse with housemates who enjoy cooking up the occasional meal together and having a chat at the end of the day. I'm looking to move in with one or two other people, either a house or a flat, preferably within the city or close by. The timing is fairly flexible but I am hoping to move by mid to late February. Let me know if you think I might be a good fit for your place.
I am sociable, friendly and respectful. I work 4 days a week and like to get out and about on the weekend, though need my down time at home too. Travelling is my passion. I also enjoy bushwalking, gardening, reading, music and yoga. If possible, I'd like to find somewhere that's within a half an hour walk of the city, have my own bathroom and a spot to park my car. Ideally I would like to share with people who are a similar age to me and don't mind a chat over a drink or 2 :) Thanks!
Hi I've lived in shared and private accomodation for many years and am very clean and respectful. I'm also social without being a party animal. Most of my housemates and landlords are still friends with me. I'm originally from Singapore but have lived in the States, parts of South east Asia and other states in Australia. I'm currently moving to Adelaide from Melbourne for a new job.
Tily (my cat) and I are looking for a new home! We both like to sleep and watch Netflix in our spare time. Tily likes fetching marbles like a dog and I like cycling. We are looking to share with someone who keeps their home clean and tidy, is friendly, and can openly discuss anything, including concerns, with their housemates. Send me a message if you are interested in getting to know me a little bit more :)

Hey there! My name is Elise. I am an international student on exchange in Adelaide for a year. I am Canadian but Kenya is my home. I am 21 and very fun but can get serious when the time comes. You know, work hard play hard sort of thing. I am a musician but i'm studying environmental science. I hope to do both in the future. I've been told several times that i am a super awesome house mate because i respect boundaries, i 'm super clean and nice to have a conversation with after a long day of work. Cheers, Elise
My name's Simon, I'm 27 and work in IT in the CBD. I'm a somewhat active guy (gym/kickboxing), into cars and PC gaming. Generally pretty private, but have zero issues being sociable (perhaps over a beer or wine) :). I tend to bulk make my weekly meals on a Sunday/Monday if that matters (cleanup included). I've lived by myself for the last few years and am over dropping boatloads of money on it. I'm pretty cruisy, tidy, and approachable; definitely one to pull my weight to make things work. I have most furnishings needed if required (only thing missing is a drier). No issue with pets, and while I don't have one myself my plan is to get a dog in the very near future - so a place that will accommodate that is a must. My car is also currently my most prized possession (typical!), so I can't do on-street or visible parking :( (garage preferred). Feel free to message me if you want to know more!
Hi :-) I am coming back into Australia to complete my study and work as well, and am looking for a place to stay and also call home. I'm a chef by profession and love too cook and drink :-P I am a pretty social person, and can easily engage in a conversation.
Hi everyone, my name is Jack and I'm looking to leave the nest and live with some great, likeminded flat mates. I am from Adelaide and am currently an International Business and International Relations student at Uni SA and work part-time in aged care. I like to keep my spaces tidy and organised, absolutely love animals and appreciate the peace and quiet when I am studying or relaxing. In my spare you'll find me either trying to get in some exercise or watching the basketball or soccer. I am an easy to get a long with and friendly person. Please get in contact with me if I sound like the flatmate you're looking for!
Howdy all, 22yo male seeking a room for rent until june in the regency park area. I work 5 days a week. Generally neat and tidy having lived out of home for the last 4 years but don't mind letting my hair down on the weekend. Half the time ill be staying at my girlfriends so ill be out of your hair most of the time. Any further queries feel free to message me. Cheers
I am a law student finishing my qualifications this year and employed full time. I have lived in Adelaide all my life. I enjoy music, running and swimming and I am a clean and generally fun person to live with!
I am a fairly quiet guy. I don't drink or party very often. I like a good laugh, movies and having a chat. I respect other people's privacy.
Hello! I am a full-timer at Flight Centre who is easy-going clean and respectful. I am looking for my first share house after renting for 3 years. I work 9-5, other than that, you'll find me on the couch with a good movie and a glass of wine, or down the road at the gym (socialising, not actually doing anything! :) ). I would love the opportunity to come and meet some new people / pre-existing roommates or a new property looking to start a share-house.
Are you looking for a social housemate with a good sense of humour & good taste in wine? She should be clean and organised but also relaxed and chilled out? And you think it would be an advantage if she is one of those slightly crazy creatives deep down in her heart? Well, I guess you found the right person! ...check out my profile for more information. :)
Hi guys, Im currently living on the North Coast of NSW near Byron Bay and i have just completed a course in nursing for a complete career change. I have a 3 year old Rotti x dog and she is my best mate. So i need a good sized fenced backyard for her also. I enjoy gaming, so im a bit of a nerd at times:) I enjoy the odd beer but my party days are over. I consider myself to be quiet and respectful towards others, but don't mind a social chat. I clean up after myself and i pull my weight around the house with house cleaning and yard maintenance. This move for me is a big one and i see it as a new season of life. Its kind of like an adventure to explore a whole new area of Australia. If you have a room and a pet friendly backyard please dont hesitate to call. The removalist is booked for the 9th of December, but i might be able to arrange to come down earlier. Thanks for taking the time to read my message. Cheers
hello my name is tofiq and i was uni Student but now searching for full time job. i deffer my uni because of financial problem. i am soccer player and i don't drink or take alcohol at all.
Hi there, my name's Sarah and I am a full-time young professional working in town. I enjoy hitting the gym most mornings, listening to metal music, eating good food, and having lazy movie nights with a tub of ice cream in hand (Ben & Jerry's preferably). I'm not much of a party animal and I enjoy my own space. Despite that, I do love a good chat and I would like to live with someone who I can hang out with on occasion; maybe even become friends with - who knows :) I am an extremely clean person but I am not OCD. I'm not too keen on living with couples, and preferably am looking to share with only one other person or two people max :) PS. I need my sleep as I have a health condition which causes me to feel quite fatigued so would appreciate living with someone who is respectful of that. If you think I'm your gal then hit me up :)
I am phd student at uni Adelaide waiting to graduate so looking for an accomodation for like 6 months or so. I am an easy going and fun individual who spends most of her time at uni or gym. At home, i usually chill and binge watch tv series. Love having a good chat and a few drinks but also like my down time.
I don't really know how to describe myself, so here it goes. I'm 24, a uni student studying creative arts. I'm a non smoker and I very rarely drink. I mostly keep to myself. At the moment, most of my time is spent studying and during some free time, I enjoy playing games and watching series on netflix.
I'm looking for an affordable pet friendly rental for me and my indoor feline companion. Somewhere close to the CBD. 1-2 bedroom unit or apartment would be ideal (NO SHARE HOUSES). I'm quiet, clean, tidy, considerate and respectful of others, their property and privacy, and always pay bills and rent on time. The room has to be big enough to fit a queen-sized bed, desk, vanity, 2 wardrobes and a tallboy comfortably. I have excellent references, Police Criminal History Check and DCSI Clearance.
I'm a law/psych student and also working 3 full days a week. I'm a respectful but relaxed housemate. Ideally I'd like to be living within 5 km of the city as both my uni and work are there. I love being with my friends, netflix, and tending to a few little indoor plants I have (I could even bring a bunch of indoor/outdoor plants with me if you wanted ;)).
