We're 3 backpackers all from different countries around Europe. A couple consisting of a German girl (21) and Swedish boy (25) and an Italien friend (24). We're all working full time, around 6 days a week so we're searching for a place to stay. Our plan is to stay until the end of August before we need to go back home. Looking forward hearing from you. Greets, Jacqueline
Originally from Victoria, we have traveled to Darwin in a campervan and have now been living here for just over a month. Our housemates are now moving out and we will be looking for a new place to live! We have both managed to find temporary work but are on the look out for more permanent and ongoing positions and plan on staying long-term if we can find the right jobs. We are friendly and easy going people who enjoy camping, fishing, cards/games and love to cook. We enjoy going out to eat and drink on weekends and share a love of food. We are clean, tidy and respectable and are open to most arrangements. We would be looking to move in the next week if possible! We would ideally like a furnished room however this is not a deal breaker. Currently in Wagaman but open to most locations, ideally we would like to be closer to the city. Please do not hesitate to contact us for more information. Best Regards, Amanda and Rhys
Im from Estonia and here doing my second year of WHV. I will be working in hospitality in Darwin. Im a really clean person as my friends always call me a neat freak. Im a fun person but enjoy time alone aswell going for walks or reading books.
We are Suzie and Michael, From England! This is our 2nd time in Darwin and we're looking for a sociable house where we can mix work and fun! We don't party every night at all, but we do like to chill out and have a few beers some evenings! We love meeting new people! Weekday evenings are pretty chilled and weekends usually consist of camping or generally going out and about! We like to keep busy but we enjoy down time as well. We have been travelling together for 3 years and we pretty much get along with everyone - we're really easy going. Both love music, snowboarding, travelling, camping, beer, wine, cheese, food, and our little Mitsubishi campervan, Mollie. We have lived in a few share houses on our travels so we're used to living with others. We are not messy and we respect peoples personal space. We're looking to make new friends, have a good time and just enjoy the NT :)
I'm from Brisbane but have been living in Darwin for the past 6 months. I'm in my early 20's and work full time as an oral health therapist. I'm fairly quiet but enjoy a good Friday afternoon drink. I'm pretty clean and tidy and lead a fairly busy life. If you want to know anything more about me just ask :).
Just finished a road trip in my van from Sydney to Darwin and am working full time in the city for the next 9 months:) Previously worked full time in Sydney and lived in sharehouses for the last few years. I'm pretty easy going and am still very new to Darwin. Love keeping fit and going to the gym/beach etc in my spare time but also occasionally go out on weekends. I also have a cat! Her name is Queenie and she's lived in a few different sharehouses with me:)
Hi we're currently traveling Australia and are looking to be located in Darwin for the next few months! We are both respectful housemates and love the great outdoors, cooking and social drinking! We hope to find some cool flatmates to share with. :)
Hey guys, I'm moving to Darwin this weekend for a physio job. I have short term accomodation for the first 2-3 weeks with a colleague from work so aren't in a big rush to find something but also am able to move in ASAP if needed. A little bit about me: I'm a lover of the outdoors, camping, hiking, sports, getting together for dinners with friends, love a good cook up, and chilling out. I'm in my late 20's and have a partner but he is currently doing some work in central QLD. My plan at the mo is to be in Darwin until the end of the year but I may also stay on longer depending on the work. I make an effort to keep a clean and tidy house and am super respectful of others space but am also up for a good chat if others are up for it. If I sound like someone that might fit into your house let me know. Thanks, Missy
My name is Kayla, I am a nurse up at RDH currently and doing post graduate studies, originally from outside Melbourne. I am an easy, laid back person, who enjoys living in a tidy enviroment. I am not OCD clean but do like being able to move around shared spaces without the fear of standing on something. I love getting outdoors and as such, when I have a few days off work am rarely at home, which is quiet often during the dry. As a shift worker, I am not a huge party person but I do enjoy a quiet drink or two on the weekend. I am well known for having music on and can often be found dancing around the house as I do things. I love cooking and baking and find it a fantastic way to unwind and relax after a busy day. My budget is flexible as well as my move in and length of stay date. Prefence would be for something until at least the end of the dry/Christmas. Preference for room would be unfurnished as I own a bed, bedside tables, lamps etc up here.
Hey! My name is Liv. Just moved to Darwin from Sydney for work. I am looking for a housemate to find a place with! Preferably one or 2 people as there are some really great places with 2 or 3 bedrooms. I have a cat which I will be getting flown up once I find somewhere to live. She's 15 years old and v chilled. I am a paramedic and will be doing shift work - on 4, off 4. I like to make a house a home and would prefer to find someone who I will be able to hang out with on my days off! I am very respectful of people's space and also great company. 😄 If you think you could live with me, hit me up! P.s. The move date is a rough estimate, early to mid august is when I'd be looking to move into somewhere.
Hi Guys and Girls, I've been living and working full-time in Darwin for 18months and I'm looking for somewhere with a little more space for my dog and I! I have at least one of my friends ready to move and we're looking for potential housemates that are happy to live in house anywhere from the city to the Northern Suburbs in Darwin for at least a period of the next 12 months with weekly rent only budgets roughly $140-$190. Open to others having their pets provided they get along, my dog is fine with other dogs cats and other small animals. Happy to catch up if we tick the right boxes.
My name's Holly, my friend and I are moving to Darwin for a bit of fun, change of location, the work and the scenery. Looking forward to meeting new people! :) We're searching for a place where each tenant pays no more than $160 a week. However this is based on current circumstance and our jobs in Victoria and this maximum could increase. (In Melbourne I have one part time job but in Darwin I am looking for full time work, or two part time jobs so maximum rent per week could increase) Looking for another 1 or 2 housemates, any gender is cool, that means we'd be looking for rental properties listed as $480p/week or $640p/week respectively ($480p/week = 3 bedroom. $640p/week = 4 bedroom). We're not looking to share a room (one room each), furnished is preferred but not a necessity. About Me: I currently work in hospitality but hoping for a call centre job when I get to Darwin, if that doesn't work out - more hospitality, haha. I'm 23 and enjoy gaming, TV, and having a few bevs with friends. I'm trying to eat healthier and eat less halal snack packs and maccas, I've recently finished studying two bachelors majoring in Enviro Science and International Relations. I am a consistent person, which means I don't fail on the rent and I don't flake on plans with other tenants (if any) I'm clean and tidy, I especially love a clean kitchen and like to keep my stuff neat to avoid undue stress in a household as the kitchen is the most shared place in a house. I love talking to people and hanging out but I also understand the need for space, and I myself enjoy my privacy and quiet time. I believe I'm a responsible housemate and encourage open communication between all tenants to make sure everybody is happy with living arrangements. And that's me! I'm open to more of a chat to see if I'm a good fit for you so hit me up :) About Teagan: - has well-behaved and friendly if a bit socially awkward dog. - two cats that mostly keep to themselves but one that is up for a hug most of the time - currently lives with hoarder mother so would love to live someplace with no clutter - very reliable with bills and rent, pays on time and never misses a payment - communication is key with all things and would love to live in a relaxed environment but still have boundaries -currently work in retail and has done for the past six years and looking to transfer up to darwin from eastern victoria before looking for a more permanent full-time position She owns a dog and two cats but is happy to look for places that don't accept pets and then will relocate the dog for inspections to make it easier. She's obviously going to be taking full responsibility for her pets. However her dog isn't suitable to be around other dogs.
I'm Nicole, work will bring me to Darwin in August for six months. Clean, easy to get along with and respectable, I would love to get a place with NBN and/or covered parking. Super keen to explore the top end while the dry lasts, so willing to adventure companions would be great! Down for beers, walking dogs and board games when im not on the pc (is there frisbee in Darwin?)
I’m a 27 year old accounting professional who is friendly, quiet, easy going and enjoys keeping active. I'm new to Darwin from NSW. I'm quiet during the week and enjoy getting out and keeping active on weekends. I am also tidy and respectful of others space. I cycle and play golf and tennis for fun. Also enjoy a quiet drink on the weekends.

Hey all, Easy going American here looking for a place to stay while I'm in Darwin. I'm a great respectful roommate who gets along with most. I keep clean and tidy and I enjoy living with people who have a good sense of humor. I'm full-time employed as a receptionist at Chilli's and Youth Shack in the CBD, so I would like to live somewhere nearby if possible. Other than that I love the outdoors and try to fill my time with exercise, rock climbing, swimming, biking, or anything else I can find. I enjoy having drinks with my friends here and there but I don't go out to bars very often.
I am a friendly, honest and reliable professional lady at the beginning of her career at Royal Darwin Hospital. I aim to find a room in a quiet setting where I can sleep and recover after my shifts. I will spend the rest of my time studying and getting ready for work. I am happy to socialise and chit-chat from time to time :) I don't smoke and I am tidy and clean.
Hey sportsfans, heading up to Darwin to work the festival. Will be working long hours and just looking for a quiet place to chill and sleep. I've lived in many a statehouse so I don't mind if you're space is practically a backpackers. There's potentially some crew mates who I could live with if you've got a whole pad.
I am 20 from the uk and my boyfriend is 26 from France. We both work full time so will be out of the house a lot, however we do like to socialise and have a few drinks on the weekend. We love to cook and go for walks in the evenings.
Spent time in plenty of sharehouses so am house trained haha. Happy to pitch in and help out to keep a tidy place. Travelled a little but always love hearing others stories around a round of beers with dinner, what could be better. Enjoy a craft - a - noon or heading out to a new spot for an adventure, on the day to day I keep to myself mostly, winding down from work.
