what makes me great to live with? I'm just a laid back guy. Very respectful of roommates and living spaces. I'm a hardworking polite guy that can fix your computer or phone for you. My mum says I have a good sense of humour ;) like my own space but also enjoy being social. Love meeting new people. very open minded and non judgemental. Don't mind living with males or females and respect all cultures. Working and studying part time. I never miss a rent payment. :D I'm always happy to pitch in and do household duties and can even assist you with handyman jobs and getting spiders out of the shower. I'm concious of how much water and electricty i use (save the planet man) and pride myself on being a good tenant. Just seperated from my partner and need a new place to call home
Hey. I'm looking to share a flat, a single room own bath preferible. I work full time n I'm very easy going.
Hey! My name's Ana, and I'm moving to the Gold Coast in December on a Working Holiday visa! I love to surf and skate! I'm laid back, but still neat and clean :) and efficient on bills and rent. The biggest thing I look for in a roommate is communication. It just makes things a lot easier. I'd prefer to become friends with whoever I'm living with! That will also make living a lot easier :) Going out for a couple beers is cool, just not a huge partier. Just as long as I can surf and skate I'm a happy camper!
Hey! I have recently moved to the Gold Coast from Melbourne. I work full time as a Youth Engagement Officer. In my free time I enjoy going to the beach, getting outdoors, socialising, having a cook up and a wine or two. I am a clean and easy going person who enjoys a bit of down time but equally enjoys a shared meal or a movie night with my housemate/s or going out for a meal and a couple of drinks. I am looking for a new place to call home with fun and easy going housemate/s. Flexible with length of stay whether it be a couple of months or a year. If you think I might be a good fit for your place or you are interested in teaming up please get in contact. Thanks :)
Im currently working 2 jobs and on a break from study at bond uni. Looking for easy going but respectful people to share accom with. I have my own furniture and would prefer to take this into new place. Prefer to live with girls around the same age.
Hi, I'm fairly quiet but enjoy having a laugh and a good conversation now and then. I don't smoke, I like to have a clean house since I currently live alone in Melbourne and I'm also very respectful of other people. I'm moving to the Gold coast to study nursing Full time. I currently work with Telstra Full Time in Melbourne and they are currently organising a work transfer to the Gold Coast for me. I enjoy being social occasionally but since I'm moving I don't have any family or friends in the area so that may be a bit limited. I hoping to live with someone that is kind, trustworthy and down to earth. I guess someone that has the same morals as myself.
Hi :) We are a very laid back couple working and both business owners so we don't have time to party but we do like socializing. We own a female Great Dane and she is amazing. Doesn't dig, doesn't bark (unless someone comes to the door, just to let us know), doesn't jump and gets along with every human and dogs (a little trickier with cats). We are currently living in Coomera but are not enjoying it very much. We miss the beach as we both are surfers so we're hoping to get a little closer :)
Lived in Sydney for 8 years and Taiwan for 3 years. I'm currently studying Aviation, love music, especially acoustic and much more, basically passionate and love music and dancing. I am looking for a place to call home. Not interested in going out every weekend, I do enjoy an occasional drink and meal. Try to keep it healthy :) If I am not at Uni, or aviation training I will most likely be chilling, studying, exercising.
I'm easy going and have a good sense of humour. I don't let the little things bug me - life's too short to worry about petty stuff. I'm a writer so I will move into phases where I immerse myself in my work and pop out the other end, a tad dazed and confused but desperate for sunshine and a decent coffee. Moving into film, which is equally scary and exciting. I am really social and love meeting new people but I'm also an introvert and need my downtime to recharge. Happy to live with a female or male. I don't have pets but am more than happy to have animals around. Feel free to make contact if you think your place is a good fit, even if it's not in the suburbs listed as it may just be the beautiful gem I'm hoping to find.
Hi Everyone, Just a 24 y/o boy and a gal here looking for somewhere rad to live. We are actively looking for places on realestate.com but we are also after an extra person. We both love to exercise, socialise, gettin' salty and cheeky bev on a Friday arv every now and then. We are super chill and would prefer you be the same, hit us up if you'd be interested in finding a place to call home with us :) Cheers! Mitch and Em
Hey, my name is Mark I am currently looking to move out of Brisbane and get as close to the beach as possible. I am a full-time business development management for a new men's retail clothing brand as well as a qualified personal trainer. I am a clean and respectful person to live with and live a healthy & active lifestyle. I have a super-friendly rolly-polly dog (shar-pei) named Hugo who grew up in an apartment so is very good in and outdoors. I'm eager to move as soon as I can find a place viable.
Fun easy going. Recently seperated and my kids are from mid to late teens. Enjoy good movies and music. Also love my sport. English gent been in Australia for 15 years.
I'm Matthew, 29, single, non smoker and I am looking for a room share. I have a full time job and I am studying an MBA part time at Bond. I am not looking to live with someone who's partying 24-7, though I enjoy the odd beer on the weekend. I try to keep healthy, I'm normally in the gym by 6:30am then straight to work, so I'm out the door early. Happy to live with male or female as long as they are clean, tidy and honest. I'm fairly laid back and will be either working or studying. I have a background in film production so I can always recommend a good movie. Keen for walks, hikes and adventures on weekends. I will potentially be on the coast for 3 years whilst I finish my MBA. I can move almost straight away.

I am a fun, easy going and healthy girl looking to find a stable sharehouse to live in! I have lived in multiple share houses and I know how to be very respectful of others space while I also love a chat and some drinks! I love sport and early mornings, currently working full time before university goes back. Please hit me up if you have a room available! Thank you, Hannah
Friendly, clean and tidy I'm a social individual but also like my space and respect others space. Quiet and respectful to shift workers and not a party animal but will have a couple drinks on a weekend. Hard worker and work full time
Hello! I'm looking to move into or start a share house with some like minded people. I am a PT who's very passionate about the health and fitness industry (typical right). My future housemates would preferably be similar to me in that sense. I'm a figure model competitor which makes it very hard to be normal socially :/ strict diets etc etc. I'm tidy and easy going and don't mind pets so really it's a pretty simple situation:)
Hello! My name is Paula and I come from Sweden! I've after many years of waiting finally arrived on the Gold Coast! Now I'm here on a working holiday visa looking for work in hope to settle down here for 2-3 months. Other people describes me as a caring, honest and funny person. I'd say I'm the kind of person who is easy to compromise with so I'm not hard to stay with. I like to keep things clean though to have a good environment around. My interest are animals and animals rights, children, swimming, gymnastics, travels and skiing. In Sweden I just gratuated from school but I've also worked in a hotel reception during the summer holidays and all year around taught gymnastics to children two days per week! I'm looking forward to come and have a look at your accomodation on the Gold Coast. If there are other young people in the property already, that would be great! :) Best regards, Paula
We are a professional working couple and loving owners to Kirra, our 7 year old Labrador. We are looking for a one or two bedroom place/granny flat where all 3 of us can live comfortably. I am Irish and I love to cook.
We are nice people and easy flatmates. Tidy, respectful, not party people (but we like to enjoy a nice cold beer after long day sometimes), we like to cook. We're in our (very) early 30's, Czech/Argentinian, both working and reliable with rent (and in general). We like to surf, be active outdoor.
Registered provisional psychologist, currently finishing my last 3 months of Masters of Clinical Psychology. I'm a clean, tidy, trustworthy, and friendly person looking to find somewhere nice to live where I can relax on weeknights and head to the beach with friends and go out for breaky on the weekends. Current lease is up in early May and am keen to move closer to the beach (on or just a few blocks, walking distance away). Ideally would love own bathroom and garage.
Relocating from UK. Self-employed (I work online in digital marketing) so sometimes need to work from home but tend to prefer to get out to coffee shops. Will be doing a lot of networking and reconnecting with friends for the first few months so hope to be out more than home. Minimum 6months stay while I find my feet. Aim to rent or buy my own place at some point later in the year. Have Aussie passport already so it's an easy move on that front and financially secure to pay deposit etc to get set up with the right place. Would prefer a large ish room or somewhere offering access to some storage eg garage space if possible. I am a clean and tidy grown up... :) Own my place in the UK and have had plenty of flatties so am aware of the kind of things that can be annoying :) More concerned with meeting new people as I get myself settled in! Looking forward to being near the beach, getting active, gym, playing tennis and generally making the most of the lifestyle. Happy to connect/chat on Skype in advance of moving over as will be keen to get sorted in to a routine asap and not impose myself on friends for too long! Arriving on 1st Feb and staying with friends in Coomera to begin with but would ideally like to be around Broadbeach/Burleigh end of the Coast.
Hello future housemate/s! Pleased to meet you! Come in, sit down and let me introduce you to both myself and Mr Domino. I have just sold my house on the Gold Coast and now we're going to chill out until I find the perfect new abode to purchase in either Brisbane or Gold Coast (this must be what it's like for women searching for the perfect pair of shoes - you now have my empathy). Facts about me: - 58% Introvert, 40% Extrovert and 2% Alien. - Fluent Sarcasm is my native tongue, being serious is being boring. - Thrive on daily barbaric and crude banter, if you're not laughing, you may as well be dead. - Often referred to as living like a gypsy in a hospital, few belongings and excessively clean. I all but own shares in Aldi surface wipes and IKEA lint-rollers. - Will avoid pubs, nightclubs, etc. like the plague, there's more to life than being inebriated. - Posess a large collection of colognes. Will not leave the bedroom without smelling like David Jones' cosmetics section. - Partial to flipping pages, not channels. Quite fond of documentaries and thought-provoking movies. - Afficianado of picking weights up and putting them back down on a daily basis - foregoing the ego. Zeph, what do you like to do for fun? - Quite spontaneous in my demeanour, I will find joy in an array of things. Whether it's falling out of a perfectly good plane or reading self-improvement books whilst I apricate on the beach - I'm happy. Facts about Domino: - 8Yrs old and is THE most awesome, placid and sweet natured dog there is - try not to steal him upon meeting him, I challenge you. - Will pull some impressive tricks, especially if the instructing human is offering an irresistible treat, or is an attractive female (my fault, he copied me). - Can play soccer better than any soccer team in the Southern Hemisphere (I can prove it). - Has an IQ that's higher than most humans I've encountered, never misses a trick. - Loves cuddles and lots of affection, I may be the softest Border Collie owner you'll ever meet. He has never been smacked/hit/abused in his life and it will remain that way. - Has barked a grand total of six times in his life, not sure why he even has a voice box. I secretly think he's a cat disguised as a dog. So, I am looking to rent a room, studio, part of a house, a tent, kitchen cupboard, a spare nook or cranny - so long as I can bring my toilet trained, heartthrob, handsome Domino with me. I am open to living anywhere south of Surfers Paradise - send me a message if you think we tick the boxes for you, I'm flexible. With any luck, you're still awake after reading all of that. If so, thank you for your time! Facestalk me, you know you want to ;)
Hey my name is Alex I'm originally from Canada. Been living in Australia 8 yrs. I'm a pretty laid back person i enjoy my outdoors and my hobby would have to be cars. I love my music.. any type really, depending on the mood. Recently moved to the gold coast, working as a European specialist mechanic in Burleigh heads. Looking for reliable and responsible room mates as I've experienced bad ones in the past. I would prefer living with fewer people as i enjoy my space and privacy and just believe it's less complicated. If this suits anybody or is of interest please let me know. Thanks
Hi! I'm Sean, a 25yo Canadian here in Oz on a working holiday visa - though I'm looking for a place on the Gold Coast to call home for at least 4 months. I have a degree in cognitive neuroscience, and worked in research for about 3 years, but have recently decided to follow what actually makes me happy rather than what I thought seemed most impressive or prestigious at the time - and chasing my dream of becoming a wildlife veterinarian :) I spent 6 months at the Adelaide Koala and Wildlife Hospital, and had an amazing time. As much as I loved it there, I'm ready for a change of scenery! I'm just returning to the mainland from a trip around Tasmania, and on my way to the Gold Coast in hopes of finding similar work - though the area is beautiful enough I could be happy doing most anything, especially if there's a dog or two around :) I'm also a performing (when I can!) musician - mainly acoustic guitar and singing, lots of finger picking folk, blues, soul, etc. Love to share music and jam if anyone else plays :) I've lived in multiple share-houses with a variety of people of all different backgrounds, languages, genders, and orientations across their respective spectrums :). I know how to give people their space while at the same time contributing to a fun, relaxed, and functioning household. Ps the site keeps warping all my pictures into creepily close up Sean-circles haha. This is the closest approximation for now!
Hey hey! I'm a Brazilian! Who loves training and healthy life style, I'm working as barista full time and I am looking for my new house to stay as long as possible! Thanks so much! Can't wait to meet you 😊🙏
I'm Lizzie from Tasmania, I'm moving up to the Gold Coast to work/train/compete as a professional surfer! It has been a life long dream of mine and I'm very determined to give it a good shot! I will be competing a bit during the year and I have a training scholarship at the HPC surfing academy, so I will be training there throughout the week also. I'm a very relaxed person, clean and tidy, I'm a social person but respect when people want time to themselves and respect their privacy. I'm active and healthy and love the beach so I'm looking for a room semi close, but I will look at anything. I'm looking for flat mates of similar age or similar interests but I'm not too fussed. I'm moving up soon but have a month of travelling and competing so I don't need anything urgently, but I'm keen to find a place to settle in and call home.
Hi I'm Bree, I'm moving to the Gold Coast very soon and I'm looking for a great place to live with 1 or 2 people who would love to have me and my beautiful dog Luna live with them. She is a Keeshond and is just delightful :)
I am friendly, easy going, genuine, honest, reliable, flexible, adaptable, balanced. I am looking for a furnished separate Granny flat or 1 bedroom UNIT as I have a 16 year old house trained cat. Preferably with a small backyard for her to enjoy. I have a car so must suburbs around Surfers would be fine. I would prefer NO SHARE due to my cat being scared of new people and other animals.
Hi, my name is Nathan, Im looking for a room in a house share located between Broad Beach and Burleigh. I would like to share a place with some people that are easy going, happy to hang out and have a couple of drinks but also respect each other's space. I'm 33 and work full time for a company based in Burleigh Monday to Friday. I'm pretty easy going, clean and tidy. In my spare time I like to cruise to the beach on my push bike, go for a run or a walk, chill with a couple of drinks and sometimes I make myself go the gym. On the weekends I like to go exploring, get away for a night or two and I'm always on the lookout for good band. If u think u might have a spare room in place u might like to share with me please let me know. Thanks!
Hi. I work away on a 14 days on/7days off roster and am ultimately looking for a cheap place to live as I am only home one week out of three. I am happy to live in a small room as I will not be there much. I am an environmental advisor (but I'm not a tree huggin hippie lol). I am great to get along with and looking for the same. I don't do drugs, I do smoke occasionally but only outside. I am not a party animal, but enjoy a few beers/wines. I respect other peoples space and am very tidy. I keep fit and am pet friendly if you have pets :) Cheers, Garth

I am a clean, tidy and considerate housemate. I love going to the beach and socialising outside with friends... it's hard not to living in Kingscliff! I work part time as a PA. I'm usually pretty quiet when I'm at home. I don't watch much TV but I do love watching Vikings!
We are both Australian and work full time at the Gold Coast with a steady weekly income. We are clean and tidy and respectful people. We love to meet new people and hope to make great friends with our house mates.
Moving from Sydney to the Gold Coast to study Psychology at Bond University Looking for somewhere close to the uni I'm laid back, but I like keeping myself busy I like keeping a tidy space
Hey! My name is Pavel and I’m a 19 year old Russian/Irish guy moving to Gold Coast for a working holiday. I love travelling, meeting new people and socialising. Fitness is my passion and I love going to the gym, jogging, swimming, you name it! I currently don't have a job lined up when I arrive but I hate being a couch potato and will definitely find a job! I get on well with everyone but I prefer a social household! I'm young, lively and am always up for a few drinks and a chat so it would be great to find someone with the same qualities. With that being said I am very respectful of both people and the property. I'm tidy and enjoy cooking healthy as I live (or try to anyway lol) a healthy lifestyle.
I'm a secondary teacher. I'm friendly, quiet and clean. I am at work during the day and spend most of my evenings relaxing, as I talk a lot for my job. I'm respectful and approachable :) I'm looking for another professional to team up with myself, and another teacher to get a house in the south end if the Gold Coast. We are both hard workers and easy to get along with. We have found a lovely place in Burleigh Waters that we love but need another person! Looking forward to hearing from you!
I am super friendly and clean. Social but give people space. Always happy to help out. I have a dog who is always with me, she is 15 and extremely lazy and friendly. I will be studying full time. I enjoy road rides trips with my dog and relaxing anywhere.
I am a chef, enjoy a healthy lifestyle, like to keep a very tidy home, prefer to socialise out with friends (specially on sundays), pretty quiet at home, enjoy meditating, gym and walks along the beach everyday. I have been in australia for 2 years and I love so much this place! Always open to having a chat but very respectful of peoples privacy and personal space! I work to much so I'm looking for a place with lovely people and environment ❤
I'm 27 and from Stradbroke island. Love surfing, skating and anything outdoors but love kicking back to a movie and having some downtime. I'm a landscaper and horticulturist by trade so moving to the goldy to do more of that closer to my friends and also work at festivals building tepees for a company. I'm currently developing my own clothing label so spend quite a bit of time working on that. I know what it means to be a good housemate because I've had a lot of bad ones myself, it has made me very conscious about keeping the place tidy and making sure I keep a comfortable household. I put everyone before myself and always keep the peace to avoid drama and conflict. I'm very socially active, always meeting new people and my friends are the same so lots of fun times to be had. I don't mind a few drinks but never the person to bring it home with me. I love a good chat and helping people, I treat my room mates like family because at the end of the day they are the people that see you at your best and worst. Any more questions just ask :-) I'm a very open person. Cheers
Hey Hey! I currently live on the south side of the Gold Coast and I'm now looking for an awesome room around Burleigh, ideally beach side. I work two jobs, doing beauty and event work so this keeps me very busy throughout the week. I love a clean and tidy house and is a respectful, chilled out female whose looking for people who are similiar. I like to have a chat/laugh with my housemates and head out occasionally to socialise but I also enjoy time to myself and being able to come home to relax. I don't smoke or drink so I'm not looking for a party house. I'm looking to spend up to $200pw including bills with preferably a large private bedroom with own bathroom as I have a bit of furniture and somewhere to park my car. If I sound like a good fit, send me a message. I look forward to hearing from you! :)
Future flatmates! I'm Jess, I work for the brand RVCA & I have my own business, designing and drawing artwork on surfboards (I've got some cool art to help decorate a place haha!) I'm currently living in Palm Beach but looking for a new place as the apartment I'm in has just been sold by the owners. I love living in Palmy so ideally that's where I'd like to find a place but anywhere from Miami/ Burleigh down to Currumbin would suit too. I work in Byron fulltime managing the RVCA store, and on my days off I work on my own business drawing on surfboards for clients and any other art orders I have on. Spare times also spent at the beach, going on walks, at the gym, I just basically like being active and fit. Somewhere close to the beach would be perfect. I'm clean, tidy & always pay rent on time. I love a good red wine night with good company, so if you have a room available, or you're looking for someone to go onto a lease for a 2 bedroom place with send me a message Id love to hear from you!
I am a remedial massage therapist studying acupuncture. I'm easy going, love the ocean and outdoors activities. Originally from Sweden but lived in France for a while too, this is my 3rd year in Australia.
About me, In to a healthy happy lifestyle non smoker/drinker, that's not to say I don't enjoy the occasional social drink and chat. As a foodie you'll find me in the kitchen creating something to delight my tastebuds (cleaning as I go), when I'm not I'll either be out & about training or enjoying water sports. Down time will see me gardening, reading or watching the box in my room. Being a semi retired contractor the incursion work obligations will rear up from time to time to dent the "happy" part of the first statement. I like to live in a clean tidy non party style environment, you'll find me to be a quiet, honest, considerate person who pays the rent on time.
I'm a happy french girl who has been working in Australia for the past few years. I have a pretty busy schedule with gym and work so I'm hardly home. Wake up early and go to bed pretty early. Enjoy living healthy lifestyle and enjoy good conversations
