What makes me great to live with... Well I'm quiet, easy going and independent, can fix things around the house and wont shy away from changing a light bulb. I'm always up for a chat and I do enjoy a good conversation over those interesting topics... Like, what way the toilet paper should go or is pineapple on pizza acceptable. I'm in to hiking, mountain biking, music, cars and computer games. You won't see a lot of me through the summer because of work. When I am around I usually I spend my spare time out and about adventuring or socialising but I gotta say I'm really starting to dig those quiet nights in now days. Over the years I have picked up this great habit where I clean up after myself...pretty cool! I am a tidy dude but I definitely don't consider myself a neat freak. You can leave the tissue box off square to the table if you're wild like that and I won't be fussed. Like most people in this town - I'm a public servant.
I'm a student studying hard, mainly interested in biology. I'll be working weekends at my part time job as a chef so I'll be away most of the day and studying the rest. I absolutely love to cook, so if you're every keen for a nice roast dinner or pasta, I'm your guy! My father is moving inter-state for a new job so I need to find a place to stay. I'm generally studying hard so I'm quiet and organised. I was an exchange student last year and lived in Denmark for 10 months, and from that I have learned how to get along with a wide range of people and how to live with them too. It's also made me tidy and mature. I've never been big on parties, but I enjoy small gatherings and time spent with good people (or as the Danes would say, Hygge).
I’m a full time public servant living in Canberra. I enjoy hanging out with friends, being active and eating delicious food. My boyfriend and I are looking for somewhere to live for 6-9 months.
I’m incredibly clean, will do whatever chores needed, I work nights so will stay out of your way but I’m always down for a good chat and a good beer! I also will be bringing a beautiful well mannered Great Dane X called Mishka!
I'm an early school leaver, recently arrived from Sydney. I'm currently working as a chef at Vapiano Canberra, and have decent savings. I'm mildly anxious, so more than happy to do my share and more and I'm very friendly. I spend a lot of time in my room, but i enjoy cooking and cleaning and playing video games, and have a long history in sport. I'm looking for anywhere with a friendly atmosphere, where I can have decent alone time and contribute in all areas of household upkeep. Thanks!
Working full time in my own business. I spend most of my time at work or at the gym. I am a quiet person who prioritizes my health and sleep. Forsee spending a lot of time during 2020 in Sydney, where my girlfriend will be living. Living with tidy housemates is important to me.
Hello! My name is Zina. Ideally, I'm looking to share a place with one other roommate or two if I can have my own ensuite. I am clean and tidy and respect other peoples belongings and space, but also sociable and friendly. I'm looking to share a place with people who share my values in maintaining a tidy environment and who are conscious of not making loud noise at night (for example, throwing parties all the time or playing loud music).
Not looking for a place until October Hey I have escaped Canberra for the winter but will be looking for a place to live when I return. I am a youth worker but usually work a few different jobs to keep me entertained. (at a bit of a career cross road atm actually) I am pretty arty I have a background in photography and I'm starting to learn how to paint. I am at that age where I still wana be social but also enjoy my own space/ alone time. I am a bit of a neat freak not guna lie! I like a clean non cluttered house with lots of plants! And matching furniture and nice decor matter so much more than it did in my 20s haha. I'm vegetarian, prefer to live with other vegetarians/vegans but not essential. Bit of a hippy but the kind that showers. Meaning I am environmentally conscious but not perfect ( I drive a car) Love music and drinking tea ( I come with a large tea collection!) Don't smoke and rarely drink these days but don't care if you do (as long as smoking isn't inside) I've said a 9 month stay but it would most likely be longer, I usually get out of Canberra for some of winter and travel but if I was happy in the place I was living then I wouldn't move out while I traveled. Racists and homophobes need not apply. I'm an open book so ask anything : )
Hi! My name is John, I'm a 24 year old professional from Melbourne who has recently accepted a role with a government department in Canberra. The contract is for 12-18 months (extendable to 3 years), so I'm looking to stay at a place for around that duration. The tentative start date is mid to late October. A little bit about myself, I'm a clean and considerate housemate that respects privacy but is also friendly and good for a chat. I'll be in Canberra over September 12-13 for inductions, but will have time for inspections and whatnot.
Hi, I'm a 24 year old recent university graduate looking for a place in Canberra. I've just landed a job as a journalist working in Parliament House, and will need to find a place by October 1st. I'm clean, polite and a non-smoker - and very sociable!
