I'm a super clean, pretty quiet Aussie girl who's friendly, kind and considerate. I moved last year from Queensland for the cooler life and I'm loving Canberra. I work full-time that includes 2 weekends a month so I'm generally pretty busy and independent. I'm also planning to return to uni part-time next year in the health sciences. I like to live a healthy lifestyle and am outdoorsy. I love cycling, hiking, water sports and snowboarding. I enjoy both sharing dinner in front of a movie or Netflix and time to myself to wind down or study so I generally go with the flow with what others feel like doing at the time. I'm certainly no big party animal and don't smoke. I have a flexible move in date and can adjust stay length for the right place and flatmate/s. I can also supply excellent references from past flatmates and landlords that show I've always paid rent and bills ahead of time and am one of the best flatmates around! :-)
Hey flatmate hunters! I'm looking for a flatmate to team up with to find a place. I'm also open to taking a room in an established place. You would be moving in with me, and a 5 month old Border Collie puppy called Pepper. I've lived in Canberra for the past couple of years, working in international affairs. Before that, I was overseas in the UK and Netherlands for a couple of years working with a human rights NGO. Don't judge me, but I'm originally from Adelaide. Being a proud dad to a Border Collie pup keeps me pretty busy. Otherwise, I'm pretty active and love being outdoors - playing sport, camping, hiking, snowboarding (not always well!). I love watching football (round and oval ball), and binging on netflix. I've just finished season 4 of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, so open to suggestions!! What I'm looking for... Ideally I'm looking to team up with one other person to find a 2 or 3 bed place in the inner north or south. As I've got a Border Collie puppy, so I'm looking for somewhere with a reasonable sized (and fully secure) courtyard/backyard, which allows pets and a housemate who likes dogs. I'm willing to pay up to $300pw. I’d like to live in a house that feels more like a home, with someone who's keen to hang out and socialise, but who wont get offended when I occasionally look to chill on my own! I’ve got most of the necessary furniture - though anyone in possession of a washing machine and/or fridgewill be highly regarded! ☺ Give me a shout if you're interested in teaming up to find a flat, or if you think I'd be suitable for your current place! Cheers, Trystan
My name is olivia who come from China, living in Melbourne right now.I’ve been Australia for five years. I will be study at JP international college in May， so I'm looking for a single room to live. I’m a quiet and friendly person, and I never made one English speaker friend, I always prefer to hang out with Chinese，which makes me feel more comfortable， because I was too shy to talking with English and have no confidence，but I decided to change, I wish to make local friends to share different culture, for example， I can teach you mandarin if you are interested, and you can teach me or correct my English pronounciation，we could shopping together and hang out together, that'll be very cool Please feel free to contact me if you are a friendly person with a room available for me. Please text me with information of your place and price. This file will always be valid until I delete it. Thank you very much!

Hi, I am a 25 year old from the Central Coast. I have recently relocated to work full time for the Southern Local Health District as a Finance Officer. I am in my last year of studying Bachelor of Accounting. I am reliable and easy to live with, happy to do my own thing but also happy to hang out and have a chat. I like to keep my self and my room tidy, and am happy to help out around the house. I am interested in sports, movies, gaming, eating out, travelling and am looking to travel to the snow to learn to snow board. I will be commuting often back to the Central Coast to see family on some weekends.
I am a quiet person. I don't go out much or have many people over. I am a non smoker. I have no pets but I am a pet lover. I am out of the house around 9-6 weekdays. Usually away every second weekend seeing family. I am pretty tidy. I don't leave dishes around the place or random bits and bobs. Would like to find a roommate who is clean but not ocd clean. Looking for a room to rent or another flatmate to find something together.
I am new professional who recently got a job in Parliament. I am very relaxed and easy-going, and love to get to know people as time goes on. But that said, I respect people's privacy and I am also very quiet most times. I love a clean house so I'll endeavour to make sure that is the case.
Hi there, I am Vishal. I am presently living in Greenway and looking to move out by April 15th. I am looking for a 1 room flat or a sharing house, however, having my own bathroom would be a preference. I will be working full time and would be seen in the house during weekends (though I like going away some weekends). I am also happy to share time with flatmate(s), having a couple of beers during weekends. I am a non-vegetarian, non-smoker, tidy, punctual and great at respecting house rules.
Hi, I’ll move to Canberra for three months (06/28/2018 – 09/28/2018) for an internship and am currently looking for a furnished room in a shared flat/house for 200-230$/week incl. utilities. A little about me: I’m a 24-year-old student from Germany. As a flatmate, I am tidy, reliable, considerate and sociable. Due to my internship, I will be working full-time during the week and I hope to travel as much as possible on the weekends but I’m always up for watching a movie or cooking together. If you have a room available during that time or know someone who does, please contact me!
I'm an archaeologist from Sydney, I transferred to my company's Canberra office for 12 months at the beginning of the year. I like cooking, preserving food, ideally growing some as well. I like to cook for people, so am happy to share dinner and a drink with housemates. I also work a lot, so am reasonably quiet during the week, spending most of my free time watching netflix. I also have a small cavoodle, George. He comes to work with me during the day, but we try and get out for walks and to explore the city on weekends.
Luke and I are two high school mates that are looking to move into a share house together. Luke is looking to get some perspective living out of home in a share house, while my current share house is disbanding as the lease has come to an end unfortunately. We both work full time as qualified tradesmen (Carpenter / Painter) giving us good experience respecting other peoples property and space. We both like to socialise over a drink after work, but also enjoy our own personal space. We have a great group of friends we enjoy doing activities with, but are always eager to make more!
TEAMED UP: with a lovely girl called Emma, looking for a three more people to fill a 5 bedroom 3 bathroom house in Curtin. We are looking for a clean housemate who is also chill to hang or have a few drinks with. we want to be able to socialise with friends at home but also have our own space and privacy. Ideally we would like to live with someone friendly and sociable, but respectful of private space when needed. We'd like to have household dinners together, drinks after work with friends, board game nights, movie marathons, and really build friendships within the house. There are three rooms available in the house. The first two are upstairs with a bathroom between them. One is very large with a secret room hidden in the wardrobe. (We call it Narnia) The other is of a good size and also has built in robes. Downstairs there is a decent sized room available as well. We have some furniture already for the house too. Emma and I are both pretty chilled out gals, always down for an adventure or deep talks or meaningless giggles. Anyone in our home will be our friend as well as our housemate.

Hey! I am a young health professional working full time Monday to Friday. I have lived in Canberra for four years. I enjoy some quiet time alone but also love a good chat, glass of wine/beer or cup of tea as well as an adventure. I enjoy keeping active and playing sport, as well as going out for brunch or dinner on the weekend. Ideally, I would like to be able to find an unfurnished room with my own bathroom/ensuite. I am also open to teaming up with someone to find a new home! I am clean, tidy and respectful of others.
I am working part-time(about 30hours/week) as a dietitian and also a trainer in a pharmaceutical company. I am a quiet person, and would be in my room most of the time. but I also like chatting and build a good relationship with people around me. I like to keep my place clean and don't mind to do a little bit cleaning for my roommates in the public area, as I understand people would have their busy times.
I am a 25 year old female public servant looking to (finally) move out of home! I am a social person but also enjoy a balance of privacy and my own time. On the weekends I love to go to the gym and out to brunch with friends rather than out late partying. I am clean, tidy, and respectful of others space and looking for housemates who are similar!

I am looking to make new friends by living with new people, but I respect our own space as well. I’m very clean, organized, tidy and considerate, so I wouldn’t be a bad one to live with :p I like exploring cafes and restaurants, but I am not into much of outdoor activities.. haha I enjoy quiet nights after work Mon to Fri as I talk with babies all day 5 days haha

HI! My name is Brad, i have just moved back to Canberra from Sydney while i put my masters on hold. I have a part time job with good income and might be starting up Uni again in 6 months (at ANU). I am an easy to get a long with persons who understands personal space and keep my thing tidy. I enjoy both keeping to myself around the house and interacting with house mates equally, and can make friends fairly easily. I am fairly nerdy, i like to play role playing games such as Dungeons and dragons, and also play board games with my mates regularly. Though i also love the outdoors and enjoy walks in parks and going to to beach as often as i can.
I'm a 22 year old working with youth in the community sector. I work Monday - Friday and generally catching up with friends over the weekends. Clean, respectful and always up for a chat.
I am a public servant relocating from QLD to Canberra for work. I am clean and considerate. I enjoy my alone time, but I am also sociable and look forward to getting to know my flat mates. I love animals, especially dogs. I’m vegetarian but have no objection to living with non-vegetarians, as I believe this is a personal choice. I enjoy a few drinks, but not too many as I like to make the most of the day and get outdoors bushwalking, jogging and doing yoga.
Me and my 3 year old Brittany Spaniel, Holly, are looking for a dog-friendly place to live for the next year at least. We need to be in by the end of the month. I am currently in my last year of a Bachelor of Arts at UC, focussing on museum studies/digital heritage (which I can talk about for hours if you get me started on it) and working part time as a receptionist at a physiotherapy/pilates practice, and also as a French teacher at a preschool. I'm very friendly and easy-going, and like my own space, but totally happy to share a meal or a glass of wine in the evenings. I also enjoy going to the movies, trivia nights, reading, and obviously museums! Most importantly I have a Netflix account that you would be welcome to use if you don't have your own. I'm very tidy and always ready to do the dishes for you if you cook me dinner! I have a boyfriend who lives in Sydney and only comes to stay every month or so for a few days, or sometimes I'll go up to visit him. If you would be happy to puppy-sit while I was away that would be amazing! As for Holly, she's extremely friendly and loves people. She enjoys being inside if there are people home, but stays outside whenever I'm at work or uni. She sleeps inside at night in my bedroom and is very well-behaved (won't chew furniture or steal/destroy anything) but she does sometimes get a bit excited and jumpy (she just loves everyone too much). Basically if you're looking for a friendly girl and dog to share a house with, who are always up for a chat and a wine, then send me message! And if you're looking to team up, we can look for a place!
My partner and I are responsible young adults looking to move out for the first time. We are both recent graduates from Lake Tuggeranong College. Ben has a full time job and I am currently studying at CIT 4 days a week. We are tidy, non-smokers and we are more than happy to be social with flatmates. I don’t tend to login to this website very much and I don’t pay for it so if you’d like to team up and start a new sharehouse or if you think you have the perfect house for Ben and I, please message me and I'll give you my number. Thanks everyone!
Hello, I am an intern at the Embassy of the Netherlands, so I will be working 5 days a week. I am clean and tidy and I have lived with roommates before, so therefore know how to respect privacy :) I'm the most fun person you'd ever live with. I'm very social, I tell great stories, my specialty is cooking anything with cheese, but I also like to be by myself.
I am an ex professional athlete now living in canberra working with the canadian high commission. I recently moved to canberra from Melbourne but have lived most my adult live in the USA.My name is John, I am 39 years old single, non smoker and have no pets. I work with the Canadian High Commission and am basically ready to move in right away. It might also be worth nothing that I can provide current security checks from 2 governments and a recent police check for any safety concerns. I spend little time in my current apartment as work keeps me fairly busy. When not there I am often at the gym or out in town. I have TVs, washing machine, dryer and many other items that if needed I could bring to the apartment. I am a qualified sommelier having studied in Stuttgart Germany and back in Melbourne.
I am an easy-going 24 year old public servant working full-time in Barton. I'm fairly busy during the week but enjoy hanging out on the weekend. Hoping to find other fun young professionals!
Hi all, Social and considerate 32 y/o with plenty of share housing experience. I don’t smoke, work full time in a science roll for the public service and throw a bit of study in occasionally. In my spare time I enjoy catching up with friends, cooking good food for myself and others, travel, movies, playing sport(professional social sport ring in) and running trails. Can move in anytime.
Mature engaged couple looking for studio, granny flat, 1 bedroom apartment etc We are a public servant and a nurse and both study part time. We are quiet and clean and respectful of other peoples property (I am also a home owner in Tasmania). Moving time is flexible but hopefully within the next month if possible.
I am a senior IT engineer working at Defence for Thales. I am also planning to join the army reserve to get fit. Therefore I either work or get fit on the weekday. I am active (into swimming and cycling), love music (play classical/acoustic guitar). On the weekend, I either drive back to Sydney to see my family or would like to chill out with colleagues / like minded people over a few beers, good dinner with red wine and get to know Canberra. I am clean, and into hygiene. Therefore I do my house chores and chill out for whatever hours I have left on the weekend. I respect the rule and privacy of others. I am looking flatshare ideally within a few kilometres meters from Deakin, or another suburb Dickson but must be close to public transport. Ideally I live with professionals and/or postgrad students. I would consider taking over your lease, if it's 1-2 bedroom apartment or townhouse, after an initial stay if the property is at a great location. Please donot hesitate to contact me if you feel I am a good fit.
Recently moved to Canberra and looking for a nice place to stay and call home. I enjoy meeting new people and making new friends. Outside of work I enjoy cooking, gyming, swimming and hiking. Very active during weeknights and weekends working out, cooking and meeting friends and family. I have previously lived in share houses so know the drill.
Hello hi! First things first, I do have a cat, his name is Oscar he’s orange and super friendly. He comes with references and is fully toilet/scratching tree trained. He’s 15 so he basically does nothing but lay around these days lol Apart from Oscar, I’m pretty easy going friendly. I work full time in retail so would be mostly out of the house during the day and in the weekends. I’d really like housemates that are social and friendly, I love a good chat and a wine or several! (Also happy to have Sunday arvo beers too) I can’t cook very well so Deliveroo tends to be a regular occurrence if that’s ok too. I would prefer own bathroom just because of Oscar and his litter tray and some form of parking is a must! Currently I do have an apartment full of furniture but that’s flexible! Open to suggestions for living arrangements ☺️☺️
