Hey 😊 I'm Chris and I'm 26 and work full-time in finance. I'm easy going and outgoing, pretty clean and handy around the house. Some things I love include: coffee, wine, movies, the beach, hiking, sailing, reading, hanging with mates, cooking & eating food - just to name a few.
I will be moving from Wollongong to CBR to study a master of science communication outreach at ANU in 2019 and am looking for a place near the university to reside next year. Beside study and part-time work commitments I enjoy being outside and staying physically active.
I am looking to move to Canberra from NSW Central Coast. I have recently been employed by the National Zoo and Aquarium. I'm tidy and often happy to cook for myself or others. I am independent at times while also enjoying the company of others at times. I am looking for a room, ideally with a separate bathroom but not essential. Parking would be ideal.
Looking for small, simple accommodation or a share house preferably with students. Preferably with good public transport. I'm currently an undergrad student at ANU going in to second year in Visual Art and Science.
I’m pretty easy going... as long as the kitchen is clean 🤣 I like my privacy but I also like to have abit of a chat and occasionally be social, whether it’s with wine or just a movie. Otherwise I am clean, considerate, can cook and have consistent income.
Easy going, out going, clean, hard working dog lover. I work full time APS, however i have taken leave until March 21 2019. I work as a casual therapeutic residential carer in between. I have a 1 year old French Bulldog, friendly, doesn't bark, is fully toilet trained and very calm personality. I enjoy snowboarding and head over to Japan in Feb for 3 weeks. Keen to socialise but also keep to myself. I work, train, walk my dog and repeat. I dont really party but enjoy a glass of red here and there. I go away from time to time traveling. I respect those i live with and expect the same.
Very positive person, friendly, flexible and vibrant and creative edge.I am an Artist and also teach in a school.I am very clean and tidy and keep my surroundings tidy.I am part of an oldies disco group and Saturday night is when we rock and roll in Canberra at different locations. With a Masters in IT I also consult in to various companies in Canberra as a sole trader.
I am a Canberra local, 27, and working full time in public health. I am looking to live with one other person. I am pretty easy going and like to keep my space clean and tidy. In my spare time I usually am having brunch, going for walks, hanging out with friends, or travelling. I am not a party person, but am sociable :)
I grew up in Melbourne and did Civil Eng/Arts at uni. For the last four years I've lived/worked in Cooma for a hydro energy company which I love. I would still be working in Cooma during the week frequently and travel quite a lot to Sydney for work. I'm a very active person and love to trail run, mountain bike and swim. On the weekends I'm often exploring new places. I want to move to Canberra to get back to the city life and meet some new people. I'm clean and tidy, enjoy sharing a meal but also doing my own thing and having a few drinks on the weekend. I am looking at buying a place in Canberra sometime in the future so flexibility on the length of stay is ideal but not 100% needed. Anyway, keen to meet up and check some places out.
My hobbies include roller derby and drag/burlesque performance. I work retail full time. If you have pets I will love them. I’ve lived all over Aus but call Canberra my home. Would love a housing arrangement that’s community based, but flexible on that- will respectfully live in a house of lone wolves.
Howdy future roommate(s) :-). It looks like i'm yet another graduate moving to Canberra in Jan/Feb for work lol. There are so many of us. I was originally looking to rent something for myself... but so expensive right!!! So i'm moving up from Melbourne and hoping to find some awesome, like minding housemate to either move in with or get together and rent a new place with. So a little about me... I'm 31 and starting a Grad position with Department of Defence in early February. I studied International Relations in Melbourne, but did business and science previously as well. I love the outdoors and often go hiking and get to the snow as often as I can. Good thing i'm moving to Canberra right. I'm pretty active, like to keep fit, but otherwise spend my time outside of work catching up with friends for dinner/drinks, reading, cooking, playing a bit of guitar and finding spontaneous adventures to go on. And I love dogs... so if you have any... points to you haha. I've been living with housemates for the past 3 years so i'm well house trained. I'm super chill at home and more than happy to share a wine and cook a yummy dinner with my housemates, or of course, give people their space and alone time when needed :-). What i'm looking for... Looking for somewhere with a bit of character and something that has a homely feel to it. Hoping to find some roommates that I can be friends with and share the same interests as me. I'm not fussy with age or gender. I have an apartment full of furniture in Melbourne that I can either bring with me or sell and start fresh. Hope to find some peeps soon and start organised life's next adventure :-)
Okay so a bit about myself, I have lived in share housing for almost 3 years now, so I definitely know the drill. I’m 19 years old, I work as a dental assistant in Manuka. For fun I like to hang out with friends, eating, movies, drinks all that kinda stuff! I do keep to myself quite a bit when it comes to share houses, just because I’m normally so tired from long hours. So you’ll normally find that I like to be in my room chilling out watching Netflix. I guess what I’m really looking for in a home is just a clean environment and house mates that are okay with me being antisocial sometimes or hiding away watching Netflix haha. Lauren x
I am a person of flexible personality. I would love socialize with people who intract and enjoy the company of someone however some privacy and limitations are always there.
Hello! So I'm moving to Canberra to start a full time job with an animal welfare charity. Initially for six months but all going well the move will become permanent. I'm pretty chilled out but like a few drinks at the weekend. Weekday evenings I prefer to exercise, cook and netflix. My main interests are horse riding, skiing, camping, hiking, camping and off roading. I'm originally from London but moving from Sydney. As I have family in Sydney I will likely be travelling back there some weekends. I'm looking for a sharehouse with outgoing, clean, likeminded people! I have a car so street parking as a minimum would be great. Open to anywhere with pets but sadly cannot live with cats due to allergies. LGBTQI+ friendly.
An IT Professional, starting on new project in canberra. I am easy to get along with, well organised, reliable, clean/tidy and quiet. I am respectful of others and their space. I enjoy cooking, travel, going for walks. I will have my own car. If you feel you might have a room or a place that would be suitable, please do not hesitate to contact me. My preferred locations are with in 10 Km of Deakin and I can be a little flexible on budget if it's the right place.
I have been in Canberra for almost 3 years now after moving from Brisbane for a graduate role as an Electrical / ICT Engineer. I have been working overseas for 6 months and displaced for most of 2018 and am looking for a place to live again. I have previously lived in an apartment in Kingston/Griffith with a housemate and would like to move back to the inner-south. I am in my mid-twenties, friendly, practical, very clean, like to cook and easy to live with. Flexible and happy to chill out and have a chat or do our own thing. I play soccer and cycle to stay active and generally get out on the weekends rather than always staying at home.
I am mature and am very adaptable. I am clean and tidy. I enjoy socialising but respect boundaries. I am quite active and enjoy the outdoors. I am currently living interstate and will not be in Canberra until mid January.
Hey! I'm 23, and work full time for a consulting firm. I'm friendly and easy going, love to have a chat, but also respect others need for space, and expect the same in return. In me, you will find a very kind flat mate who doesn't mind sharing all the good food that I can cook ;) I actually enjoy cleaning so you won't to worry about mess with me! I don't drink or smoke. I am not a "party" person so do not worry about noise with me in the house.
Hi, I’m Phoebe. I’m a primary teacher who works hard during the week and I love to socialise on weekends. I’m moving from a regional area in Northern NSW and will be looking for a place from mid Dec or earlier for the right place. Being from the country, I love fresh air and green space and getting out and about. I would prefer to move into an already established house, but would also be happy to team up and get a place. I am a clean and tidy housemate, who lives an active and healthy lifestyle. I love playing hockey and going to the gym! I also don’t mind a cheeky mid-week wine and quality convos. I have a 2 year old miniature dachshund called Edwina. She’s a legend and if you’re a dog person you won’t be able to help but loving her too! We are super easy going and love going for big walks. I’ll be down that way a few times over the coming term so if I sound like I might be a fit for you, let me know and we can meet up over a coffee and a chat!
Hi! I'm an easy-going, tidy and respectful housemate. I keep pretty busy between studying and working, but in my spare time I like being active, cooking, socialising and visiting family in Victoria. I'm looking for a fairly long term arrangement, and am after a room with a wardrobe and space for a double bed and desk. I am also after one car parking space. Cheers, Felicity
Hi! I'm a new grad RN working at Canberra Hospital in August. I'll be doing shift work (AM, PM, nights) so I'll be seeing you at odd hours of the day. I'm laidback, tidy, and happy to chill out and binge on Netflix. I'm happy to make new friends and also understand the need for self-chill time. I am also looking for a place that's open for my partner to visit until Christmas as he lives up in QLD. Feel free to message me any questions!
I am friendly, considerate, clean, private and flexible. Looking to move at the end of January 2019. I have lived in share houses for a couple of years and love being active. I have a busy schedule so tend to have quiet time at home but I also like taking my dog out for runs, hikes and adventures.
