Hello, I'm Ben. I consider myself to be a fairly regular 26 year old male. Love getting along with people and open minded. Canberra born and bred. Bit of a Jack of all trades. Trying to get back into keeping active after joining the public service. Do a bit of gaming (Won't chew up too much bandwidth though). I also enjoy a drink and being social, although I'm usually the quiet one in a group. Clean and tidy around the house especially in shared areas. More of a 'clean up after myself' type rather than 'everyone has their turn' but I'm flexible and will fit in with established practices. Not much of a cook but willing to learn. Will do my fair share of housework. Would love to find a place with flat mates that appreciate a really friendly vibe. Would prefer to have a 'trial period' but would love to find the right place to stay at for longer. Cheers,
Easy going friendly kind professional who is quite but doesn't mind a yarn or two over a drink. Looking for up to 6 months accommodation due to the contract role I have. It may extend but not sure at this stage. I work long hours but can sleep through almost anything. Also don't mind a glass of wine at the end of a long day or week. Allergic to cats but ok with dogs if you have any.
Hi, I'm Hannah and I am on the search for a great share house or group of people to move in with. Ill be making the move to Canberra in 2020 to start a graduate program with the federal government. Originally from Tassie, I moved to Melbourne for uni over 5 years ago and I am excited to start this next chapter in Canberra. In my free time you will often catch me out and about with friends sharing good food and a few wines or at the odd festival. I also enjoy going for walks and the odd Netflix/reality TV binge. I'm easy going and love a chat at the end of the day, but also understand and respect the need for privacy and personal space. I have lived within both share houses and apartments for the last 5 years, so I understand the need to be clean, tidy and to respect our home. I Ideally I would love to find something by the end of the year/first two weeks of Jan. I'm flexible on location as long as I'm near transport and not to far from the city. I'm more looking for great company so if I sound like someone that might fit into your current home, or someone that you might like to join up with send me a message. PS only looking for a unfurnished room :)
Hi folks, I'm Eddy and having lived in Melbourne all my life, I'm finally branching out a bit! I'll be working full time as a public servant but also be studying at the same time at Canberra Institute of Tech. I'd say I'm an agreeable person who makes sure to keep a clean space. I love to meet new people and am always down for a nice hang out, but I also make sure everyone has their own time, space and privacy as that is something I value as well. As for things I like to do, I'm a fan of fast cars, motorcycles and stretching that cardio on some great runs while some of my more sedate hobbies are writing stories and going stargazing. I will be in Canberra for inspections from the 20th Jan and targeting a move between 27th to 31st Jan.
Hey! I've finished studying and am just working full time now. Enjoy doing activities, gym, having a few drinks and hanging out with friends. Looking to get some more hobbies and meet some different people now that I've got more spare time. I'm a clean person who likes to have a chat, cook dinner together or have a few drinks but is also respectful of personal space. Looking for a room in an existing share house. Looking to move in December.
Hi! I am moving to Canberra from Melbourne in February to start an APS grad job. I love to travel, enjoy hanging out with friends, am an avid follower of the AFL and live entirely off coffee. I am friendly, clean and believe I am pretty easy going and down to earth :) As I am moving to a new city, I would really love a place where I can feel right at home and become friends with the people I live with! It would be great to go out for drinks/food together, or even just binge some netflix. I do also enjoy my alone time, and am entirely respectful of other peoples privacy.
Hi there! My name is Alex and I'm a full time public servant working in Woden. Im originally from West Australia. I'm a quiet, tidy type who doesn't object to noise an activity around me. I have many hobbies but my main ones are cooking, art, gem cutting and horse riding. I own my own horse so I'm generally out from sunrise to sunset most weeknights - I am very respectful of keeping the noise down for those non-early risers! I'm looking to move to a new place before Christmas and I have based my search on places close to work (Woden Valley) or close to my horse (Bruce/Belconnen area). While I don't mind street parking, if it's all that's available I would like to have parking that isn't time limited throughout the day as I walk or commute to work. Hope to hear from you soon! Edit: apologies for my terrible profile photo, I'm not good with them at the best of times.
Hi I'm Lachlan. I am a university student due to move from uni accommodation. I have lived in a few different shared living places and found lasting friends in my roommates over that time. I would love to socialise with the people I am living with but also appreciate the need personal space. For the larger part of my spare time I am a gamer. What I am generally looking for in my roommates are some chilled out people who would also be keen to build a great relationship with their new roomie and can keep a cool head when the thermostat changes ;) If the bio's only got you halfway there or you just want to meet me, please feel free to contact me; I'd be happy to come introduce myself!
I'm currently studying IR at ANU and am looking into moving off-campus into an already established sharehouse. I would prefer a smaller place, maybe only 1 or 2 other people if possible. I love to just chill out and read (I'm a giant bookworm and spend 90% of my time reading) or watch Netflix (aka I'm a huge homebody). I'm fairly quiet and not the most social person, so the chances of me ever having more than one person over at a time is slim to none, but I love a good chat and movie/trashy TV marathon. I'm very tidy and will always keep up my end of the cleaning deal. Pretty flexible with move-in dates and can do any time between the first of December to the 30th of Jan :)
looking for someone who can communicate- is interested just as much in listening as in talking; is in late 40's, early to mid 50's; is open-minded with respect to alternative healing modalities such as kinesiology and reiki, and is also open-minded to life being lived on a more spiritual level- meditation, energetic work. I enjoy swimming and pilates. I love dancing, history, making historical costumes, arts and crafts. I am starting to learn about opals and gemstones-where to find them and then how to cut and polish them. I am a tutor for literacy and numeracy- helping people who learn in different ways. I am generally quiet, love music, learning about different cultures, and want to explore Australia in a year or two. I am trustworthy, reliable and expect the same in a house mate, especially regarding rent and bills.
I am moving from Perth in January to start a graduate program in the public sector. I am an easy going person who is tidy, respectful, and used to living in share housing. I ideally would like to live with some people who are keen to share their favourite spots around Canberra, or willing to go exploring. I enjoy going to the gym, swimming, trying new food places, dancing and being outdoors.
