Hi Everyone I work part time for a youth mental health organisation in Canberra and am also studying counselling. I consider myself easy going, clean and tidy, approachable and sociable but I also welcome down time. I love dancing, spontaneous adventures, a cocktail here and there and spending time outdoors...to name a few things :) I am looking to move into a new space either beginning of December 2018 or January 2019. Would love to hear from anyone who feels we might be a good fit.
Looking for one to two other people to rent whole place- house/appartment Up to moving into a place with one or two others too Looking for somewhere not too far from Red Hill, about 40 min I am a neat and tidy person but not OCD clean Not really a party person. More into junk food and Netflix Usually away every second weekend seeing family and friends I would like a nice relaxed and friendly environment. One where we can talk to each other about any issues that arise Message me if you think this sounds like we would be a good fit :)
I am a 29 yr old vet, who has recently moved to Canberra from Sydney. I love cooking and baking and sharing whatever I've made. I am always happy to sit and have a chat, but also respect the need for space. I clean up after myself and not opposed to doing whatever dishes there are in the sink. :)
I work full time as a lawyer. I'm vegetarian and I like to cook, go to the gym, ride my bicycle and go hiking. I also love to watch live sports games and musicals. I always clean up after myself and have experience living with a wide range of different people (one time I lived with 11 other people in an apartment for six months). Pretty chilled out, always happy to chat, hang out or cook dinner together, but also value individual space and privacy.
Hi I'm a 23 year old full time public servant who moved to Canberra this year. I also study part time at university while working. I'm mainly an indoors type of person who keeps to them self but up for a chat a or meal together with others sometimes. I am very respectful of public spaces and keeping them clean.

I’m originally from Canberra and I love what this capital has to offer. I’m looking to move out of home and into a comfortable place in a great environment/area. I enjoy my solitude but loves socialising and going out and doing fun activities or going to cool events that are on. I’m currrently studying part time and working. Will be starting uni full-time next year @ UC. Happy to just hang out and I’m always down for a good d&m.
I am responsible person who always is reliable, clean and easy. I can cook, and definitely willing to share the chores and other responsibilities. I have my own bed, bedroom furniture, and a small TV. I am originally from Queensland, but I've moved down here for jobs and life in general. I work at Coles in Curtin. I love movies, good food and love to have fun. I also have my own bed, side table for the bed, fridge and I also have a piano and two bookshelfs.
Just another bloke at the pub. I'm a former ANU and UC student and have done several sharehouses over the last 6 years odd, so understand the nature of various households. I'm flexible and able to adapt myself to the requirements of housemates, having lived with men and women of various individual natures. I am a Football (soccer) enthusiast, refereeing football and futsal regularly. I'm also playing local level (social) cricket on Saturdays, enjoy lawn bowls, pub trivia and local gigs. Anything fun, its all an adventure. I'm generally a sociable person, but have days where I'll disappear into a book or tv show in my room, as we all do. I'm Just a regular pleb frankly. I quit my previous job to travel to the World Cup in Russia, so I've been in Port Macquarie with my parents since returning from Europe. Currently on Newstart but I have 5 nights a week refereeing football/futsal lined up in Canberra so I will be able to readily afford essential living expences while looking for more regular work. Geographically flexible in Canberra area, mainly returning to Canberra for the purpose of cricket season. Trying to keep it on the cheaper side. Happy for a furnished or unfurnished room, any size. Any questions just give us a shout! Cheers, Matthew.
HI, I'm Krystel and currently looking at finding a room for the next 3 to 6 months starting end of September. I'm originally from France but have been living in Australia for the past 7 years so it's pretty much home. I am moving from Sydney to Canberra for work, and was hoping to eventually get my own place, but it'll be easier to get a room to start off with. I'm super easy going, very tidy, a vegan but I don't care what you eat (no joke! I'm not one of the crazy vegans), and don't intend on bringing the part home. I usually keep to myself but happy to hang out and have a chat every now and again. I am very busy outside of work, so don't spend much time at home so you'd barely ever see me yet I would pay rent! Win Win! I'm also looking for a place for 6-9 months as I'll then be trying to get my own place. Any questions, please ask :)
Hi! I'm an easy-going, tidy and respectful housemate. I keep pretty busy between studying and working, but in my spare time I like being active, cooking, socialising and visiting family in Victoria. I'm looking for a fairly long term arrangement, and am after a room with a wardrobe and space for a double bed and desk. I am also after one car parking space. Cheers, Felicity
Hi, I’m Phoebe. I’m a primary teacher who works hard during the week and I love to socialise on weekends. I’m moving from a regional area in Northern NSW and will be looking for a place from mid Dec or earlier for the right place. Being from the country, I love fresh air and green space and getting out and about. I would prefer to move into an already established house, but would also be happy to team up and get a place. I am a clean and tidy housemate, who lives an active and healthy lifestyle. I love playing hockey and going to the gym! I also don’t mind a cheeky mid-week wine and quality convos. I have a 2 year old miniature dachshund called Edwina. She’s a legend and if you’re a dog person you won’t be able to help but loving her too! We are super easy going and love going for big walks. I’ll be down that way a few times over the coming term so if I sound like I might be a fit for you, let me know and we can meet up over a coffee and a chat!
Hello, I am a working professional moving to Canberra for a new job in the public sector. As a friendly, clean, respectable and helpful father of 2 who also live in Canberra, I hope to find accommodation alone or with just one other to share. I enjoy visiting art galleries, museums, classical music, wine tasting and walks.
Hey there - I’m a journalist moving to Canberra to cover politics. Looking for somewhere close to Parliament. I’m very clean, very friendly, and possess an adorable Scottish accent. Plus I alway pay bills on time. The only downside is my cooking, but I'm working on it.
I am a health professional currently looking for a property and a suitable housemate to share within close proximity to the Canberra Hopital. I am quiet, clean, friendly and hope to share with someone who is similar. I spend most of my time at work or at the gym and enjoying the simple things in life. Ideally looking for a place to live I can call home and feel safe and secure.
I’m about to be transferred to Canberra and will be working full time. With this being my new home, I’m going to explore try to be out on the weekend exploring all what this city has to offer. Non smoker and have no pets. I’m fairly easy going, non confrontational, and not too loud. Responsible and reliable with rent. I am respectful of my flatmate’s possessions and space. I try to keep fit with cycling and a bit of running. I am clean and tidy, and happy to share the household chores.
G'day, I'm James! I'm originally from Adelaide, but moved to Canberra mid last year. I work full-time as an engineer, but I also study part time as a postgrad at the ANU. I'm pretty sociable and will happily have a chat or a couple drinks after work if thats your speed; otherwise I more than willing to give you your space and keep a low footprint at home. Between work, gym, uni and my partner I keep pretty busy so I like to keep my space at home tidy and try not to be a burden on anyone else. Feel free to get in contact and have a chat, I'm pretty easy going.
I’m an honest, reliable, clean and tidy professional. Pretty relaxed but do prefer a clean home and to share with others who like the common shared spaces to be kept tidy. I’m friendly and quite happy to share a meal or a glass of wine and have a chat on occasion but I like my own space. I’ve shared with 2 girls in their early 20s the past 2 years; it’s been fun to hang out and it’s worked because we respect each other’s privacy and individuality. I am open to sharing with people of any age if they are mature, respectful, trust-worthy, self-aware with a positive, can-do, friendly attitude. Art, hiking, cycling, Pilates, Netflix, great food, coffee and wine, board games, authenticity and honesty are all up there as things I enjoy and value. I’m really looking to live as near to my workplace as possible so Braddon, Reid, Manuka, Kingston, Red Hill, Garran, Griffith are my preferences. $300/week including utilities is my maximum. ** I’m flexible with length of time to house share - between 3-7 months starting early November (I’ll be housesitting from May 2019)
I am moving to Canberra Mid-October to start a new position in the public service. I am friendly, tidy and love a good chat over a glass of wine at the end of the day. I am currently studying externally, so will often be required to lock myself in my room and study, but as soon as those assignments are submitted, I'd be keen to get out and see Canberra! :)
Hi I'm Kyle - Just moved to Canberra for work, from Christchurch (NZ). I work full-time in Fyshwick at a technology/engineering company, and often head to the gym or mountain biking outside of work. I enjoy meeting new people and I enjoy most things fitness/sports. Although being a kiwi I still have know idea what is going on during an AFL game (give me a few months...). I'm tidy, clean, and respectful of people I'm living with. I think I have a pretty good sense of humour and am always up for a laugh. I'm looking at short-term accom from the end of October through to roughly when my partner moves over from NZ (January sometime) and we move on to a 2-bd + place.
I am pretty quiet, enjoy tea, chats and have great taste in TV & poetry. I'm currently working part-time in the community sector and loving it! Canberra has got me hooked on latin partner dancing, yeah I didn't see this hobby coming either :p
Young, single professional. Very quiet housemate, love time to myself but also like to spend nights cooking for others and entertaining on occasion. Very easy going and friendly. Lots of experience living in shared houses, but also looking for potential housing independently.
Hi I’m 19 yo working full time in pipeline renewal. I work 10 hr days and also travel quite often for work so you’ll rarely see me. I’m friendly, pretty easy going and always up for a chat. I’ve been living in share houses for 3 years now so I know how to respectfully live with others and I always pay my rent on time.
Hey guys (and girls). I'm a 27 year old male currently working in the public service. I have been living in sharehouses from the age of 19, so I'm well accustomed to living with others, paying bills on time and cleaning up after myself - I also have no issue with cleaning a bathroom or mowing the lawn on a 40 degree day! I'm well beyond my days as a partier but still enjoy a social beer or a bbq with housemates. I'm pretty quiet during the week and out and about or riding my motorcycle on weekends. As I own a bike storage or garage space would be great! My current lease expires mid Jan, so I would be looking to move any time around then. Look forward to hearing from you!
Hi, I recently started a new engineering job in Canberra and I am currently looking for some fine folk(s) to share a home with in Canberra. I am looking for a place with decent access to public transport, near-ish to shops and with a garage or shed that I can keep a couple of bikes. I also have some furniture from sharehouses past. A bit about me, my hobbies include cycling, games (electronic and tabletop), I enjoy making (and consuming) interesting food and drink. I consider myself to be house trained and I am happy help out around the house with cleaning, etc. Generally, I am pretty chilled out, I am looking for people to live with, not a bunch of strangers to share a house with.
Living in Canberra working full time in Manuka I'm looking for flatmates to share in a nice, friendly house that respect privacy but are also willing to socialise, I am very easy going, clean and am used to living with others. Message me if you're interested!
I’m a quiet, tidy, respectful tenant looking to move in ASAP and I am flexible with my length of stay (6+ months is preferable though). I work full time Monday to Friday and spend most of my free time with my horse, Ellie. I love animals so I’m fine with any pets. I appreciate my time alone at home to binge watch lame tv and nap, but I’m also up for a chat/movie/dinner etc if it’s available. I don’t eat meat but I can cook pretty well so it makes up for it!
I'm working 2 casual jobs and studying to get my business and administration degree at UC. I love meeting new people and am keen to make friends with my housemates. I enjoy sunsets and having a few drinks, but I also value time to myself and a peaceful place to come home to. I LOVE pets and am basically just looking for a clean, relaxed and affordable place to live.
I am studying computer science and maths, and will be doing an internship with the Australian Signals Directorate. I am a really easy going and easy to get along well with. My hobbies include listening to music, gymming and boxing. I'm am a social person so I wouldn't mind finding some flatmates I can hang out with.
Getting in super early to see what's out there, having just been accepted into a Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Secondary Education: * $150ish or less p/w, could pay up to $180 if it includes bills * Close to UC campus or in an area where there are buses that go to campus (I don't drive). * Footy/sport in general/music/TV/cows are my kinda things. * Keen on a household that is social in a ‘can eat and watch TV together sometimes’ kind of way, but isn’t a party house all the time. * This is my 500th attempt at uni so I won’t be going out too much but I’m also not adverse to a drink (or ten, if the situation calls for it). * Wouldn’t be my first time out of home so I’m well house-trained, and would prefer a clean home. * Bonus points if you have pets because I’ll miss my cat. *Female house preferred but not totally essential. Moving from Sydney and will hopefully have Youth Allowance, but will definitely also be looking for work. I have 8 years of experience in fast food/hospo so hopefully shouldn't be too hard in theory.
I'm a young professional moving from Queensland to Canberra for work. I love eating, drinking, socialising and meeting new people. I am a super easygoing housemate who will always be down for a beverage, loves a clean house and doesn't take offence easily. I also understand social cues, which in my experience, save lives. I'm happy to answer any questions, or have a quick phone call/skype/facetime if you would like, so please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Hey all, My name is Fiola and I am an 18 year old girl who has already lived in Canberra for 5 years and also achieved my IB Diploma there. I would pretty much call myself a local however I currently live in Germany with my family but am moving back to Canberra on the 16th of November in order to work and then start uni a little later on. My job is located at the East Hotel in Griffith and I will most likely spend most my time there. However, I am a fun girl looking for an affordable place to stay. I am very tidy and don't need much to be satisfied and would describe myself as the perfect housemate. I am also planning to stay for a longer amount of time rather than short term. I look forward to hearing from you Kind Regards Fiola :)
Hi, I'm Raeychale, I'm from Wagga Wagga, and will be moving to Canberra to start studying full time at ANU, as a science undergraduate. I practice martial arts, love travelling and spending time with friends. I'm friendly and easy going, and clean up after myself. I'd love to find someone who wouldn't mind getting to know each other, and spend some time watching a movie or catching a bite to eat in our free time. But at the same time, I know everyone has busy lives, so i value some quite time too. Looking forward to hearing from you!!
Hi! I'm Nadine, a 24 year old architect looking for a friendly, social home in the inner north/south :) I'm looking for a place that I can call home, with people who are up for hanging out (wine, netflix, food!) but also respectful of each others personal space and down time. I'm friendly, easy going, and tidy. I'm a bit of a home body, and love tea, brunch and baking. In my other spare time, I like to explore Canberra and the greater region - hiking, attending Canberra's many events and markets, craft, pottery.. I'm looking for a friendly, happy household with housemates who are up for a chat / to hang out occasionally.
I am a busy, full time professional. I am friendly, tidy in shared spaces and outgoing. I have a good rental history and pay everything on time. I enjoy hiking and Netflix. I am looking for an easy going person who would enjoy an occasional pizza or brunch.
I have moved to Canberra since May and looking for another ideally fully/semi furnished room initially for a 3x months stay but likely extending. The location of the property preferably walking distance from Gungahlin shopping/town center. I am very clean, into hygiene and ALWAYS clean up afterward. I keep myself busy and active, but love to have a few drink or diner with flatmate(s) every now and then :-). Please sms me with your contact if you have a room and like what you read in my profile.
An easy-going young professional who likes to go on adventures. Very flexible, easy to be around, and clean up after myself. I like to cook but also eat out, and find things to do in my spare time. Happy to share a meal/have a feast and spend time together with others, but can also keep to myself if preferred.
Easy going. Simple. Fun. Sociable. I am super respectful of people, space and belongings. I work full time and will be out quiet a bit. I don't bite, up for chats and dinners, netflix sometimes gets the better of me.
