We are Kostas and Elena, a young, friendly couple from Greece. Both of us are 27 years old, and we are working at Melbourne the last 9 months. We like to meet new people and cultures, and both of us have experience living with other people and respecting their privacy, while at the same time like to socialise and have interesting discussions. Elena is an accountant and likes music, dance, exercising and travelling. Kostas is an IT engineer and likes music, reading books and exercising too. We have already lived in a shared house in Melbourne and the experience was great. If you have anything that fits our criteria please do not hesitate to send us a message!
URGENT! I'm from Japan, half Australian and a first-year student at Monash:) Love music, animals, outdoor, cooking. Quiet and Clean (would prefer to live with female students) Close to bus/train/tram stop preferred Thank you!
Hi there, my name is Nilusha Lakshan but you can call me Neal originally from Sri Lanka and currently study Masters in Accounting at Victoria Uni. Interested in hanging out with people, doing fun stuff, making new friends. I'm looking for a nice place to stay. Please feel free to contact
We are easygoing, talkative and tidy couple from Poland looking for a place to stay near Monash University. We both love to cook, play sports and live a healthy lifestyle (we are both vegans). Karolina has a postdoc fellowship on Monash Univeristy and Bartosz is looking for a part-time job. We're arriving in Melbourne on May 20th and will stay here for at least 6 months.
I'm a quiet person who mostly likes to keep to herself. I study Master of Counselling at Monash University Clayton. I have a low tolerance for noise, so want just one housemate other than myself. I am not a party person. I'm a studious person who likes to do yoga and other forms of exercise when not studying. I spend quite a lot of time every day in the library doing my work. Looking for a clean, respectable, understanding, quiet housemate who is not into partying and has a set routine. I will most probably get part time work, though I'm not working presently. I cook a lot and I enjoy it. I'm basically from India, 26 years old. Thanks. :)
We are a couple looking for a nice quiet place. One uni student and I am just moving down to Melbourne from Cairns. I will be moving in about 4 weeks from now ( now being 24/04/2017) We are a quiet couple and mostly keep to ourselves. We'll mingle occasionally. To contact me please leave a text or call and I'll get back to you asap My partner is a full time Uni student and I will be working
Hello, my name's Josh! I've been couch surfing in Melbourne for a month after moving interstate from NSW and would really like to settle down and find a permanent home. I'm a first year science student studying full time at Monash Uni. I'm a friendly, easygoing, sociable guy but am also respectful of others' privacy and while I'm up for a chat I also enjoy some downtime like anyone else. I realise the responsibilities involved in living with others and am a very clean, tidy and reliable person, contributing my fair share to ensuring the place is in good condition and rent is paid on time. Lover of all animals and would be totally down to live with pets of any kind. Am open to living with any and all kinds of people but would prefer to live with other students or people around my age. As I'll have uni nearly everyday it's quite important that public transport is nearby, and it would be especially amazing if I could find a place close to the Clayton campus. Also open to start/join a group of others looking for housing - send me a message if you'd like to know more about me or if you have a room available and thanks!
Hi, I'm Kien. I'm a friendly laid back person, a bit introverted but also usually up for a good chat. Currently I'm doing a bachelor degree. Besides studying, I like reading and listening to books, and learning new things. Fun facts: I'm not proud of my cooking skills. I mean I can make fire and all, but these days everybody can do that. Recently I learned how to distinguish between things that get questionably burned and things that get reasonably burned. Made some significant progress before switching to a frozen microwaveable diet. I ride an unicycle for short-distance traveling. The reason I learned unicycling in the first place was that walking is mundane and inefficient on certain surfaces. I like cats. An ideal place I'm looking for would be nice, tidy and reasonably quiet, with friendly, sociable & fun housemates so we can make it a cozy home. I'm also interested in teaming up.
I'm 19 years old, currently a student at RMIT studying Business. I go to Uni twice a week which gives me more hours to work part time at IKEA. I may even be able to give you discounted furniture! I am a clean person, very bubbly and easy to get along with. I was born here but my family background is Filipino. I love music, I sing and can play piano and guitar.
Hi, I'm Aidz, turning 30 this May, from the Philippines! I'll be taking Masters in Design full-time at Monash (Caulfield) this coming July and I'm hoping to arrive in Melbourne either June 26 or 27. I'm a photographer and a graphic designer so that makes me an artistic person, I'm very much into music as well, I play the guitar (but I'm not bringing one, unfortunately) and can sing decently, I like searching and listening to new indie artists/bands, but the majority on my playlist are very old school. I also love playing video games, NBA 2K or FIFA anyone?? I'm a bit of a geek and I quite know my way around techy stuff. I also love to cook so I can make some meals whenever I have time. I'm usually content being a homebody, but I sure love to go outside once in a while! So, show me around when I get there? Since it's my first time to live alone and in a different country, I'm not just looking for roommates but also (hopefully) lifelong friends that I can treat and also treat me as "family". My mom is an OC when it comes to cleanliness, hygiene and keeping things in their proper place, so somehow I picked that up from her, but don't worry, I'm not very imposing like her haha! I highly value my privacy and takes care very well of my possessions, so you can expect me to do the same for you. I drink, but not too much (those days are over haha!) I'm fun to be around and can get loud and crazy at times, but I intend to do very well on my studies so I can assure you that I'll be quiet most of the time. Anyway, if you think we get along very well, I'd really appreciate to hear from you!
Hey! i'm Kayley, a 22 yo working full time M-F as a food technologist. I usually spend my week nights at home, I love to cook whether it be dinner or a yummy cake and I usually go to the gym a few nights a week. My weekends are spent going for brunch, catching up with friends and shopping, mixed in with doing the household chores and having some creative down-time. I've been living out of home for a couple of years and sharing houses so I know that a happy house is one where everyone does their bit to keep it clean and tidy. I respect other peoples space and independence but I don't want to be strangers to those I live with and would even love to make friends with them. Always happy for a chat over a glass of wine at the end of the day or week!
Im a fairly easy going person and would say respectful and honest also. I've lived in share accomodation with several different types of people previously and haven't had any issues...or complaints so far lol. I've also lived by myself in the past and must admit I did enjoy the privacy and space but in saying that I also don't mind company sometimes or having the odd chit chat when living with others. I always pull my weight when it comes to cleaning and stuff. Current flat mate loves my random OCD cleanups cos he reckons he can now see thru the glass in the shower and didn't realise his tiles are actually the shiny ones!! Lol.
I'm a kind, easy going person, with two well behaved 6 year old cats. I've shared with one other person as a general rule. It's nice to have some alone space, with the ability to chat and socialise sometimes. I would be happy living with a retiree or someone my own age. Would prefer another lady but have shared comfortably with men too. I'm a reliable, responsible person, who will never take advantage of kindness. I'm a giver, so I know how it feels. I'm currently working in Pakenham but will travel up to an hour if necessary.
I'm a 35 years old spanish guy. I'm a postdoctoral researcher (sociologist) of the University of the Basque Country and on May I'll start a research stay at the RMIT. Never been in Australia before and I would love to know as much as I can about the country and Melbourne. Generally I am cheerful, talkative and curious. Quite sociable, a little bit unpunctual but committed. And I would say that hard worker. In recent years I have noticed that I am a little maniac with things like order and cleanliness. I am a smoker, but I respect and fulfil the rules that are assigned to me in this regard. I enjoy a lot cooking and eating, swimming, and riding bike. Love reading, music and concerts too. Compared with those of my generation I have not travelled much but I have lived with many different people. I would say that I'm used to share and being flexible.
