I get along with everyone, easy to talk to, friendly and enjoy a good chat. I am in Australia for work purposes and getting to know the local culture. I never stopped learning since I started travelling and loving my stay in Australia. I am looking for a room for a couple as I will be moving in with my partner, Sue. She is sunny and very good fun to have around, currently looking for volunteer work in care. We come from London and are currently living in Central Coast but moving to Sydney to minimize commuting time (I work as a soccer coach for children in Sydney) and make new friends.
Originally from the south coast, been living in Bondi for over 15 years now. Surfer in the arvo and horticulturist in the morning. Often down the coast surfing on the weekends and just looking for accommodation while I am working during the week in Sydney. Looking for a low key, easy going & clean place.
We are two students from Malaysia, one on the way pursuing second degree, another taking diploma course, and are both working part time. We are two quiet girls who value the comfort of the places we live in, and that makes us clean. When the both of us have time we would cook or make dessert, and what makes it better is we love sharing our creation! We are mature adults so we won't turn the house into a party house and make our flatmates uncomfortable. The two of us are looking for like-minded people who would share the house chores and are responsible for the house. We look forward to hear from you! Thanks, Stephy and Belle
Hey! I'm a British guy looking for a room with like minded people. Love board sports, music, festivals/doofs 😉and a bit of a foodie. Just moved to Sydney after completing my agricultural work and plan on staying in Sydney to pursue sponsorship aspirations. Overall I'm a hoot to live with, clean, tidy respectful and I make a great cup of tea 😉
Hey everyone, I'm Arty! I’m 23, Aussie, employed, well travelled and well rounded 👋🏻 I'm currently looking for a share house "preferably a share home" to join this week. It can be immediate or later if necessary, i've just let my lease ending creep up on me out of nowhere haha. I work full time in Oxford street as a bartender and occasional drag host, I usually walk / night bus / uber home and would love to find somewhere accessible by transport or close by :] Id consider myself a very sociable and loyal guy, Equally introvert and extrovert, i respect peoples privacy and space, and also like spending free time with my friends and housemates at home when i can <3 I spend a lot of time out of the house and when i’m home its usually just cheeky drinks with friends before going out, or working on my blog <3 I do come home late some nights bartending, something to consider if you’re a painfully light sleeper or you find people showering / watching netflix quietly at 2am problematic. I’m openly gay and a proud pineapple-on-pizza fan. I bring that up only because I'm quite a kind and respectful guy, not a douche that you'd have to worry about screwing up the house vibes haha. And "apparently pineapple on pizza’s controversial haha” I’m chill as, feel free to consider me in a share house if you’re looking specifically for safe / respectful housemates! I am very that! I'm tidy “in communal spaces more than my room hahaha” that goes through weekly phases of mess to sparkling haha. I’m an almost-vegan, so I guess a pro of having me is one less housemate to hide your late night beef snack pack from in the fridge haha . I do need a little bit of space in a room, a double size room minimum probably, or even just somewhere like a garage / cupboard i can store a few non-essential things like a sewing machine and couple boxes of like Linen / winter stuff / crafty garbage haha. I’m not gonna lie, probably your dream housemate :P I’ve lived out of home 5 years, so no BS. Have had my fair share of being responsible for managing bills and rent in share houses. Am able to pay bond immediately if required, and any advanced rent too. Am free all day, before 4pm from Wednesday - saturday to visit the place and introduce myself :) Thanks everyone 💖❤️ Happy house hunting <3
UPDATE Hi Guys, I'm Gianluca, I'm 35 and I'm Italian. Finally I got my Visa!! I'll move to Sydney the 8th of February and I will stay in hotel until the 12th of February. I have a permanent job in Sydney near the Central Business District, so I'm looking for a room/flat in some suburb near there or that could give me the ability to reach the offices easily. I don't smoke and I'm very interested in every type of sport. I would like a room in a flat with no more than 3 rooms and even if I still look like a 25 maybe it's better to stay in the apartment with people that are working rather than students. Moreover, welcome some room with private bathroom. Feel free to ask whatever you want. Bye!
Hey, 2 guys (British and Hungarian) from Manchester looking for a double room close to the city centre. We are a friendly easygoing couple.
I'm from the United States and came to Australia to learn more about the culture and myself. I like to keep my living space clean and tidy. I also keep quiet during the evenings.
Hey! My names Sam and I'm a final year engineering student at UNSW. I'm originally from Wollongong but I've lived in Sydney for 4 years around Kensington and Maroubra. However I have just returned from a summer of travelling and need a place to live! Currently I'm completing uni part time and working part time for a promotions company in the city. I'm working on my honours thesis at the moment so will be quite busy for the foreseeable future. I'm an avid surfer and basketballer so when I'm not at uni or work I'm always keen to hang out with mates, head to the beach or go shoot some hoops. During the week I keep things pretty quiet, playing basketball and other social sports most week nights, and on weekends I enjoy heading out on the town or going on roadtrips down/up the coast. Generally as a housemate I'm friendly and outgoing, only keeping to myself when uni work needs doing. I like to keep my room and the house clean, I always cook for myself but always like to cook with my housemates aswell. I have lived in share houses for over 4 years and understand the importance of keeping areas tidy and the dishes done. I also have a fridge and 3 leather couches that I could bring to a share house if that sweetens the deal
I'm Greer, 30 I just moved to Sydney for an approx 6 month contract initially (at least October), and then will re-assess the permanent move or not. Not usually out mid-week too much but keen on weekend fraternising as much as chill! Will be working in the cbd 5 days 8:30 - 5:30pm in the property industry involved in Events and BD. I've got some side hustle I'm trying to spend time on so always keen on being around people who are on that personal grind too!
Hi, my name is Axel I m 24 i am from Paris(Fr), and i m in Sydney for working ! I m easy to live, i don't smoke, i m discret, calm, funny, i like talling with différent peoples, painting, art, reading, kickboxing, and food !
My name is Josef, 21 years old and i am born and raised in the nature of Iceland. I live in the Mountains in Australia but i am moving to Sydney within 2 weeks. Before coming to Australia, i was a soccer player in Iceland and waiter. I needed a new challenge in my life and i decided to come to Australia to study. I study International Hotel and Resort Management and i recently got a job at Westin Hotel in Sydney. My passion is coffee, red wine and healthy lifestyle.
Hi, I'm Laurent. I'm French and, after having happily lived in Oz for 7 years, Aussie also. I have a Chinese - Cambodian background as well and I'll leave the end result with your imagination (hint: it's not too bad) I have been off Australia for a year traveling and doing volunteering work and I'm finally back to continue my "normal" life. I'm pretty chilled out spending my time catching up with friends, watching movies and TV shows, doing sport (mainly soccer and squash) reading life hacks to make me feel smarter. I'm an IT professional and will be job hunting at the beginning of our common life. It doesn't mean I will have financial issues soon as I still have confortable savings. Like 100% of Flatmates users, I'm tidy. Well, that's partially true because my bedroom is more likely to get messy. I'll definitely keep the common area clean and I expect the same from my fellow flatmates. I'm social and independent. It means I'm happy to have a good chat over a drink or share activities, and I also need to spend time by myself. It's important to keep a good balance between social and personal spaces. Since I settled in Sydney, I always lived in a shared accommodation and I am fully house trained. Bonus: most of my previous housemates left me to move in with their partner and are now married... Regarding visits, I will occasionally have some friends over for drinks or dinner. I'm looking for an accommodation in inner Sydney area, preferably Surry Hills, Redfern, Newtown or surrounding suburbs.
Hi! I recently moved back to Sydney after working in London for a couple of years and am looking to rent a room within ~30 mins commute of the CBD. I currently work full time for a fund manager, so it would be great to find a place that is easy to get a full night's sleep without too much disruption during the work week...but weekend parties are fine!
Hi there! I'm heading over to Sydney to work a festival for 2 months and I need a place to live! I'm super friendly, tidy and nice. I'm usually at work A LOT but when I'm at home I like to chill out watching Netflix, reading or writing.
We are a couple both working full time in Sydney and we are looking for a place to stay for our last 6 weeks in Sydney. We've lived in lots of house shares before and we are clean, sociable and friendly.
Hello! My name is Chloe and I am 23 years old. I am originally from Brisbane, have been living in Sydney for 1.5 years and work in PR as a television publicist. Monday to Friday I keep pretty busy with work and pilates/the gym, on the weekend I like to be pretty social and catch up with friends, go out for a few drinks, head to the beach, brunch or just enjoy a few wines at home over pizza! I am quite a social housemate and am looking to join a friendly, clean, social house, but not a party house. Ideally, I am looking for other housemates who are in the mid twenties, working full time and like to hang out rather than just use the house as a place to sleep. I like to have a chat after work and/or someone to binge watch the latest trashy reality TV show with. I am moving out of my current apartment as I am hoping to live closer to the beach. I am clean, respectful of personal space and understand the key to house sharing is compromise and consideration. Let me know if I sound like a good fit and I'd love to come and inspect the house sometime soon. Thanks!
I'm an Australian girl working as an international flight attendant for Qantas and as a recent journalism graduate I also intern at Channel 9 here and there on my days off. I'm not home a lot therefore definitely looking for respectful and trustworthy housemates. When I am home and not just sleeping off jet lag, I live a healthy lifestyle, I like cooking, going to the gym/yoga, the beach or visiting my parents on the central coast. I'm not into the party scene but enjoy a red wine with a good chat or going out for dinner or afternoon drinks in the sun. I'm looking for a home not just a room so would love a house mate that is social but also likes their own space : )
Hi, my name is Juan and I´m a 35 years old Engineer from Argentina currently studying a MBA in Sydney CBD. I’m clean, respectful and like animals. I would like to find a room in a shared flat or house with down to earth flatmates who likes to have good conversations . Moving date is negotiable as I'm staying in a friend's house at the moment.
Hi there! My name is Bec and I currently work full time in Human Resources on a large infrastructure project located in Sydney. I'm looking for new home for myself and my (part time) 10 year old rescue terrier - Nahla I am quiet, respectful, mature and easy going. I currently live in a lovely share house in Stanmore and need to look for a new place as the lease is sadly coming to an end! Overall, I'm looking for a home around the inner west where I can be close to a few nice cafes and parks. I'm clean and tidy and overall a very considerate person. I'm pretty chill on the weekend which usually consist of catching up with friends out and about and trying out some new places to eat (I should also be upfront about my Messina addiction). A little more info on Nahla is that she is toilet trained and a quiet dog. I currently share her with my former partner and have her three weeks on and three weeks off. She has lived her life and is at a point where she spends her days doing rotations from lying in the sun to the shade. She is to her hearts content sitting on the lounge with some cuddles to keep her happy!

I've been living in Sydney for a bit more than 3 yrs, and consider myself a very sociable and respectful person. I enjoy doing climbing and being outdoors when I have the chance. Hey! Michelle is an actor from NZ and currently doing freelance/temp work. Loves cooking, watching movies, exploring new outdoors and swimming. David is from Sydney and is a delivery driver for a plumbing company and has been organising DJ nights called Swarm Takeover for the past few months. We also have heaps of house plants and they will happily green up the place. We're currently living in a temporary room in Haberfield which is awfully small for two people but have plans to move early April to a more permanent place. We were living on our own in a studio apartment but I was working nights in hospo and the opposite timetables meant that being at home on our own got really boring. I'd love to live with people who are social, creative, engaging and ambitious. We are free from early evening most days and would love to check out the place and meet you! Michelle & David

I am very polite and respectful, love super tidy apartment (everything in order, clean kitchen/dishes, things in the right place is super important). I am also cheerful, very easy to get along with, and able to talk about a wide range of topics if time and moment allows. I am a professional, female design engineer aged 42 and seeking a modern room preferably with own bathroom or one shared with another female. I am mature minded, humorous, warm hearted and respectful of others. I prefer to share with other mature-minded people, probably between 30 and 65 years old. I am a AAA rated engineer and take construction design contracts from agencies. Most of my work can be done on my own computer. I tend to rise at 7am, breakfast, make lunch sandwiches and then go to work. My workplace varies - sometimes a clients office, a library, a coffee shop or other social work space and sometimes from home. Contracts may be anywhere between a week and 2 years in length. I have confirmed work in Sydney until 8th May; thereafter my contracts may enable me to stay in Sydney or may require me to move. Its not predictable but I can say that my physical location does not matter for most of the work I do and that I shall endeavor to stay in Sydney. I am flexible on location - any suburb within the region roughly bounded by the north and east coasts of Sydney, Ashfield in the west and the airport in the south. I would be very pleased to talk with you about sharing. Kind regards, Kellie
Hello there! I'm Seb and I moved to Sydney 6 months ago. I started off like a proper noob and lived in Bondi Junction like a tourist - the idea being to learn to surf. Of course, in that time, I managed to go down to the beach once and didn't set foot in the water. So now, I've become a sensible chap and am looking for somewhere cheaper in the Inner West, as that's where it's at (I think). I've just got a job (woohoo!) as a solar PV engineer at a company in Camperdown - if none of that means anything to you, fear not, I'm sure I will tell you whether you like it or not. I'm generally a very outdoorsy person, and love to cycle and hike. During my first 6 months here, I worked as a sort of part-time trainee mechanic in a few bike shops as I wanted to figure out how to fix something I use a lot! Pretty passionate about the environment, in all senses - energy, transport, water, waste, etc., so I may start an impromptu rant on Sydney's hopeless cycling infrastructure, or plastic bags, or disposable coffee cups or...you get the idea. Also a pretty geeky person and am pretty much always reading some fantasy novel. Also like to play chess, so if you can play, that would be bloody excellent. So yeh, if you like the sound of that, it'd be great to share with you, whoever you are!
Hi, I am from Amsterdam and moved to Sydney to work full time at a startup in chippendale. During the week I'll be busy at work, but during the weekends I would like to go out to explore Sydney. Always lived with many kinds of people which I always enjoyed and can easily adjust. I like to cook a good diner, drink some wine and have a good chat but of course also respect each other's privacy. I just like to hang out with nice people, live in a house to call a home and enjoy life in Sydney.
Hi everyone! I am Stefano from Italy, I have lived four years in London and I want to try a new experience here. I like to stay in a clean house, i'm respectful, easy going, I like to cook, doing my best:), and making drinks. I'm always up for a chat or for going out and share time with flatmates. "LIve and let live" is my motto!
I am used to lived in shared flates, I keep everything tidy and clean I also like to experiment and cook something for everybody. I also like to just watch a movie, in company or by myself. I enjoy going out for dinner or a drink. I am very talkative but love to listen to all the stories that you have to tell. I am a kind warm person who always is ready to have a good time, having fun.
Hi there, i will be moving to sydney and will be working around darlinghurst, not too fussy on the suburb i live just somwhere not too far away! I am 23 and work in health, I like to be social and so am looking for someone of a similar age to be a friend not just a housemate! No shared rooms and would prefer my own bathroom and car park! :)
Hey guys I’m on the lookout to shift houses, and am keen to hear from anyone that is looking. I’m interested in both already established share houses, or teaming up for a new one. My main reason for looking to shift is to try and find somewhere a bit more affordable, so I’m looking around the $220 - $280 (inc. bills) category. I’m a 27-year-old working professional; an easy-going guy, and love to be social with my housemates but also like to have time to myself and kick-back (as most people do when they’ve had a long day and want to take it easy). I’m keen on fitness, surfing, reading, film, and think I’m an all-round easy person to get along with. And I mean that genuinely, not in the sense where you meet someone and they turn out to be next-level crazy. But I digress. I work in Marketing, and don’t know a heap of people in Sydney so would love to meet housemates that are cool people and easy to get along with. Ideally, looking to move in with 2 to 3 others. Anyway, if you think you’d like to have a call and see if we’d work as housemates, give me a shout! Cheers, Callum
Hello, This is Kamer, an Export-Import Executive working in the Manufacturing Industry and looking for a quite and clean room around Enmore, Newtown, Marrickvile. Being a very respectful, easy-going, considerate and calm person, I have been very well-adjusted with professionals and students to share a place. Cleaning, taking care of the place, behaving positively and always fixing problems with a calm attitude is about my characteristics. I am looking a single/private room. My move-in date is flexible as I can also move in asap. Please do not hesitate to contact me or ask questions. Please feel free to text or send a message. Kind Regards and Thanks, K.

Please get in touch as i'm currently residing in 2047 area, so won't be an issue to visit available rooms or know of people who like to team up.* I'm Berto from Gold Coast of Macauese descent , wishing to find a room/place or team up within Sydney vicinity. I'm friendly, clean, tidy guy who likes travelling, food and more. I'm happy to cook for myself or others on odd days and up for occasional night out or just stay in and chill on sofa with others watching movies/tv shows. Not only will i be your housemate but also want to know all well so we be comfortable around each other from the get go. Indeed I also respect others personal space and privacy. I embrace diversity and up for making new friends as I am new to Sydney surroundings. I've studied and worked in U.K. since teens but recently back Oz to settle. I'm a self employed mixed media guru although open to many other interest as i like to learn new things. Cheers! :)
