Hey, I'm Christina, 26 years old, coming from Germany. I love to explore and travel different countries and cities, which is why I decided to come to Sydney to spend a semester abroad at the University of Sydney for 4 months (postgraduate programme in psychology). I'm very open minded and outgoing. I'm into techno music and all kinds of festivals (music, art, food etc.). I also like to go for a run, do yoga or just hang out with friends with a glass of wine or a good movie. Since I've been living in shared flats for the last 6 years, I'm used to this kind of living already and have no problems with keeping a place clean. I like to spend time with my flatmates, for example while cooking or going out together. But closing the door behind you and having some time to yourself when you feel like it is absolutely fine as well. I'm looking for a lively flat with interesting flatmates so that I can get to know Australia and Sydney not only as a visitor but be part of this city! Hope to hear from you soon!
Hi there, I am Ash a 27yo, single, professional female. I work in Events and Marketing. I have a consistent routine Monday - Friday and you can expect I am gone 7am - 9pm, sometimes later. Weekends I can be a bit more exciting as I endure a miscellaneous cocktail of: Travel, adventure, exercise & music events. I am available to move in on Sat the 11th August, two weeks bond & two weeks in advance I am looking for: -a home, as opposed to a short term space -a furnished uncluttered room (just a bed is perfect - minimalist) -wifi and all bills inclusive -budget: $350max (firm & needs to be all bills inclusive) -walking distance to a train station In or around: -Darling Harbour -Surry Hills -Potentially, Newtown Sorry no: -team ups -shared rooms I do not require: -a carpark Bonus points to Griffindor if: -you have a dog, or many -you like wine -you have books -you have a sense of humor And a love for music. What am I like to live with? Social, super clean and organised. I pay my bills & communicate well if something in our home agreement isn't working. I exercise a bunch and enjoy the outdoors. When I am home I like to binge Harry Potter, read a book or engage in some form of artistic expression; dance, singing or cooking... none of which I am any good at, though, what I lack in art I make up for in humour. Overall, I have good energy and a good soul. Please send me a message if you have something that may suit, jokes are always appreciated - as is punctuation, spelling & grammar ;)
Hi, my name is Maude, I’m a 30 year old french Canadian and been living in Sydney for nearly 6 years. Very easygoing, social, respectful and tidy. Work in finance Monday to Friday and have a pretty social life but also like to chill! Love good food, cooking, eating out, wine, sports, traveling, hiking, abit of everthing really.. Looking to live with like minded people in a spacious, light-filled and very clean place. Cheers, Maude
I'm about to make the move to Sydney for an awesome new role - I'm always up for a chat but respect others privacy. I'm a tidy person, not super concerned with things being spotless but don't want to live in a constant mess either. I enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the week and would like to build a home rather than have everyone hide in their rooms. Please don't contact me with places that aren't walkable to the CBD!
I am an easy-going flatmate, clean and tidy. Not obsessed though. I am always up for having a drink with the roomies, watching a movie or just chilling on a cafe nearby. I also like and respect our own private space and time. I like talkative and genuine friendly people.
My name is Jonathan and I come from Denmark. My friend Rasmus and I are looking for a place to stay in Sydney while studying a semester at universities in the city. Rasmus is 23 and I am 22 years old. We are going to study sports sciences at Macquarie and Sydney University. Though we are very interested in sports we still enjoy a night out. We are responsible adults and that take care of our surroundings, we would love to socialize with roommates but also respect others private life.
I'm a software engineer living in Auckland as of the moment and moving to Australia in August 2018. I am flexible and can easily adjust to different environment. When I'm not working, I play volleyball and try different sport as much as I can. What I really prefer in a house is a clean common areas especially the bathroom :) I'm originally from Philippines but decided to settle abroad to explore what the world has to offer.. I'm looking for a room in a house/apartment where I can call my second home, and wouldn't mind a visitor once a month. Preferrably near or easy commute to George street CBD :)
Hey I'm Rhi, I'm from the UK, and I work in TV Production out here on a working holiday visa. Sometimes work long hours and odd weekends but will very rarely say no to anything - serious FOMO'er! Always down for a family night in, a cheeky few down the pub, any novelty class/event or comedy night and even, sometimes, a run or gym class. Genuinely love cleaning -like to keep a place tidy. I'm after the right balance of home comfort and hangouts but not into a 24/7 party house. Previously living in Manly which has been a DREAM but my upcoming job will be based inner west so looking at Newtown area or central. I am currently in Indonesia having taken a month out so I fly back on the 25th and start my new job on the 30th. Ideally looking to move straight in on the 25th! Happy for either a bridging short let whilst I find something until end of November (when my visa expires) or the full period. Obviously will just have to communicate over FaceTime! Oh and I come with a cute little pet fish! A hangover purchase, so you could be in with a lucky inheritance! Joking (not joking)
I am polite, respectful, friendly, open-minded, and always happy for a chat. I love sports (all kinds but specific interest in futsal and badminton), and music. Also, I am into game nights and Netflix binging, but also need and understand the need for some space and alone time.
Hey, I'm Tom and I'm 23 from the Sunshine State, looking for a room to rent from the 13th of August to mid Feb. I'm a big sports fan, loving all things rugby, cricket, basketball and in between. I'll be working full time in the CBD at Suncorp from 8 - 5:30 Mon - Fri. Then out exploring Sydney for most of the weekend with my girlfriend, who is working in Australia and living in the Northern Beaches. I'm a very friendly and approachable person, who loves to have a chat over meals as well as lounging out with room mates watching telly or spending time together over the weekend. But I also love time to myself, reading or binging tv shows and watching basketball. I'm tidy, both common areas and my room, organised and easy going. I'm a pretty average cook so it all evens out in the end!
Graduated from Uni a bit over a year ago and proceeded to explore the world. But alas, it's time to start my professional career. I'm coming from Perth to start full-time work in Sydney. My favourite things are traveling, Ultimate Frisbee, and casual snacking. I'm a pretty social guy, I love making friends from around the world. I'm new to the city and hoping to meet some fun people. I'll be working during the week but like to go out on weekends. Always up for a drink and/or a chat, or a cheeky Frisbee toss, if you don't have one I've got you covered, I've got three ;) I'm not OCD or anything but I like to keep things neat and clean :) Some other GOOD things about me: Impeccable hygiene: Daily showers; range of deodorants/colognes Adaptable to preferences of leaving toilet seat up or down Good at making nicknames Some NOT SO GOOD things about me: Cooking experience currently limited to cheese toasties Occasionally sing in the shower (but I do take requests) If you think I'd be a good addition to your flat, of if you'd like to teamup and start a new flatshare I'd love to hear from you :)
Hey all, I’m Stacey, I’m 24 and from the UK. I work full time in HR in a not for profit organisation in Kings Cross. I’m out a lot of the time but when I’m home, I love a chat over a cup of tea/glass of wine. Tad of a neat freak but also want a place to feel homely and lived in. Currently attempting to be healthy, although it’s not really going to plan with the amount of good bars/restaurants in Sydney. I’m looking for a place from the middle of August from 2-4 weeks. Sublet would be ideal. Look forward to hearing from you. :)
I'm moving into the area from the Northern Beaches to manage a gorgeous bookshop in Westfield Bondi Junction. I'm hoping to find somewhere either within walking distance of there or walking distance to a train line. I'm after a private, unfurnished, queensized room in a share house with great people and hopefully some kind of parking option. Would prefer somewhere with 2+ people. A bit about me - naturally, I love books and reading, but am by no means an introvert. I love MMA - both training and watching - and all the usual stuff you'd put on a dating profile - 'adventures' 'music and movies' 'going to the gym' 'wine and coffee' 'watching sport' etc. I love a social house - whether it's to share a wine and chat, play a board game, head to the beach or binge watch a tv series together. I'm keen to check out the local area and would love to know where to get the best coffee, great food and places to explore! :) I currently live with six other housemates so I know what it means to be considerate of others, both with cleaning and respecting privacy etc. I'd say I'm a fairly normal human! Easy to live with and looking to meet people who prefer their house to be more of a home. I'm looking to move in August but would consider earlier for the right place and people, and would prefer something around $300 pw. Looking forward to meeting you!
I’m a very friendly, easy going person who is a working professional in Sydney CBD. During the week I like to keep busy with work, the gym and tennis. I do tend to work late most nights but love the occasional chat if I’m home. I love a good laugh and very much enjoy meeting new people, I usually go out in the weekends or like to go out for dinner etc with friends
Dutch 24 years old girl who’s coming back to Sydney to study and work in marketing. Love it to go to the beaches, have dinner and wines but also a relax Netflix evening or a run. Looking for a private room for long term.
My name is Andrea, 30yo Italian. I’m a professional hospitality worker (restaurant manager) and I’m leaving my apartment in Newtown after 2 years. I have always really wanted to get closer to the ocean but I am in love with the inner west. I like reading, running, ride my bicycle, my motorbike and, of course, wine. I’m looking for a place that I can call home, with someone who I can get along and share a glass of wine. Or two. Working full time in a restaurant I have mainly mornings and Sundays off, so that I can relax and enjoy the beach and the outdoor.
Hi! I'm Harriet. A 24 year old working full time in finance in the CBD. I'm easy going, but also respectful of people's space and home. Work keeps me fairly busy, so when I'm not in the office I like to chill out with friends over a wine, hit the beach, or watch one too many episodes of Netflix. Please give me a shout if you have a place!
My name is Greta, I'm a 22 year old student from Germany. I'm going to study at the University of Sydney for one semester from August on. I am an easy going, friendly and organized person. I don't smoke and I like to keep my flat clean and tidy.
I am in my early 30s and am looking for a private room in a sharehouse. I'm from Argentina but have been living in Australia for the past three years. Right now I'm living in a share house in Canberra but I'm moving to Sydney on the 22nd of July to begin studying a PhD in Economics at UTS. I like playing soccer, getting outdoors and drinking red wine. I cook great "asados" (Argentinian barbeques). I ride my bike a lot to get around and am flexible about whether I bring my car with me to Sydney. I'm easy-going, tidy and handy with a toolbox. I'm social and like sharing a meal with friends (especially "asados") but respect privacy and personal space.
Hello everyone. My name is Dylan an I am 36. I am considerate, pretty quiet, clean and social. I like health and well being, design, interiors, nature and learning. I like a chilled home life that is looked after by everyone and the common spaces respectfully shared. I have a good job in Account Mangement for an Aus Tech company, or though I'm not very techy. Oh well... I have stayed in past flats for a long time so that must be saying something positive? I am really quite a good flatmate I think. I just want to find a cool place with relaxed people who are respectful and good company.
Hi everyone, I'm Alex - a 25-year-old postgrad law student at Sydney University. I'm quiet, tidy and considerate, looking to share a similar household. I usually study pretty hard during the semester while working part-time as a language teacher and at a law firm. But that doesn't mean I don't relax and enjoy a good chat during the week as well as a night out at the weekend. I'm sociable, I like reading and being outdoors e.g. hiking, and I love to cook yummy meals when I have the time. If I sound like the ideal housemate, send me a message. I'm flexible with move-in dates.
I am a Filipina who just got a job at an Auditing firm in Sydney beginning August. I am looking for a temporary private room or room to share for two to six weeks (negotiable) starting August 3, preferably around Sydney CBD (up to 30 mins of travel). If you have an offer, please message me here Thank you.
Melbournian making the shift to Sydney for a new job. I lead an active lifestyle - I enjoy going to the gym and playing several sports. In my down time I enjoy reading, music and drinking with friends. I try to keep myself busy, but I am keen to share the occasional meal or drink with my future housemates.
