Experienced with using flatmates and living with new people, I work full time so mainly only home at nights, don’t really talk, would like to be social with flatmates but very much like being able to come home and do my own things in my room aswell
Hi there! My name is Rik, 26 and from The Netherlands. I am social, active, open-minded and clean. I arrived here 2 months ago on my second year working holiday visa. As I found a full time job close to central, I am seeking a room to share where I can move in immediately. Things I survived: - A skydive; - Half a marathon; - A visit to Pablo's brother, Roberto Escobar in Medellín, Colombia; - Summiting a mountain of 6.088 meters; - A bungee jump; - The amazon jungle; - Round trip Oz & NZ in a campervan; - 10 days of silent meditation; - 200 km airport - home hike, to train for: - Four day marches Nijmegen (4 days x 50 km); - 8 months solo traveling throughout South America. Love coffee, running and the sun! Here for a good time, not for a long time. Happy to share a beer, or two. I don't smoke, even though I'm Dutch. Cheers, Rik
Hello :) :) :) I am great to live with as I have lived all over the globe, literally, since I was a kid! I was a Diplomat Brat and have been to school in places such as Singapore..Indonesia & NZ.. The list goes onnnnn and onnnnnn. As an adult, I caught the travel bug and am an online coach and travel the world with my son, aged 3. He's a pretty chill dude, and very respectful of furnishings and space, as he has been to 11+ countries since 6 weeks of age, and more airbnbs than we can count! :) I am currently in Glasgow, UK. Returning to Sydney and wish to stay LONG TERM , ideally 6-12 months in a house, (hopefully longer if we get the right dynamic). I work from a co-working space (The Hub) during the week, and my son attends a preschool 4 days, with a view to 5 in January 2019. We are out and about A LOT (coworking space events...parks..playgrounds...all the free events Sydney has to offer etcetcetc). I have to say that I can afford our own place, and I did this pre moving to the UK, but honestly, after living with people again, I can see my son and I thrive on it and it gets pretty isolating as a solo parent! I'm a pretty chill person. In saying that, I like to tidy up, clean, and cook a lot! (Don't worry, I don't care if you do or not, I just like to ;-). ) *SUPER OPEN MINDED *RESPECTFUL *RELAXED *LOVE COOKING *FINANCIALLY STABLE *SOCIAL *SUSTAINABLE *DIRECT & AMAZING COMMUNICATOR (no passive-aggressive post-it notes or txts, ugh) *LGBT friendly *Great music collection, particularly DRUM AND BASS! I get that living with a 3 year old (***HE'S THREE, THE THING WOULDNT LET ME ADD HIM UNLESS HE WAS 16 YRS OR OLDER-HAHAHA) is not everyone's idea of an ideal housemate, and yet I encourage you to meet us, and then judge for yourselves! I come with good references and referees, as does my little dude, just ask :). *I also have a fair bit of furniture (dining table/butcher's bench/couch, artwork) which is in storage in Sydney at the moment, from our last home. I guess I'll tell you about my favourite living arrangements that seemed to work best for us: BERLIN WAREHOUSE *We had a massive room and ensuite *The house was full of DJs and artists (perfect for my son to enjoy company and they were always making noise themselves, so didn't mind much what he was up to) *we got to be social and have company, but also enough space to retreat when we wanted GLASGOW HOUSE *This was a small space with one other gay woman and her cat. She worked a lot at a bar. When she was home, we were social and shared a vino or three while my son played. Will miss this place!! My son loves all animals and loves giving the dog a walk if you have one ! Spaces that DIDNT work: * People who are allergic to kids (they exist) *Toxic people who are low vibe and negative *If you communicate passive-aggresively via sms or post it notes and have no communication skills *Uptight/super anal people *If you are a light-sleeper (sometimes he wakes up at 5am, that's kids for you) ---Haaaa! That's what earplugs and wine are for riiiight? Looking forward to hearing from all the high-vibe lovers who'd be keen to setup a great space together or already established a space for us to add to! I'll be commencing my Masters degree at The University of Sydney in February 2019. I love hiking and the outdoors and I get along well with active people. I am quite particular about cleanliness and I'll probably cook for you if we get along well :) I have travelled to 25+ countries I am very open-minded and accepting of different cultures and people. I don't smoke or party, but I'm always up for a glass of wine. Or two. Or three. If you think I'd make a good flatmate, message me!
Hey! I'm 23 years old, I work as a full-time mechanical engineer in product development, so I'm always working on cool stuff. I'm quite neat and tidy and can keep to myself. Although I am a sucker for some top banter and a few snags on the BBQ. I don't mind some trashy tv or reading a few books inside, but I do live a pretty active and healthy lifestyle too. Looking for a room to occupy or some people to find and rent a place with :)
Hey, I'm a 24-year-old Music Producer moving to Sydney from England on a Working Holiday Visa 21st November. Staying in a hostel for two weeks, so will be able to move in somewhere 6th December! I'm a Clean, Tidy & Easy-going guy. I like to have fun and socialize, but also enjoy my own space as well. Looking forward to meeting new people, and the right people to start my Australian journey with!
I moved to Sydney from San Francisco about a year ago, and excited to get the chance to experience Summer in Sydney again! I'm pretty friendly and enjoy chatting over a glass of wine or shared meal every so often, though I sometimes work hectic hours. Looking forward to meeting you :) Other important details: * I was transferred here through a large international tech company, so paying rent won't be an issue, rest assured. * I'm a nonsmoker now, but I used to, so it's important to me to live with other nonsmokers * I do like to enjoy an adult beverage every so often though, so hope you do too lol * Very LGBT friendly / generally accepting of all lifestyles * Very clean in common areas * I welcome homes with pets! * Looking to build a home rather than a crash pad 💛
Hi, I’m Alex and I’m a 27yo finance professional working in the CBD. I’m looking for a relaxed but social place to live, where people are happy to hang out but also fine with the fact I may just come home and crash after work. I always clean up after myself and take care to keep shared spaces neat. I hope I fit the bill and look forward to chatting with you.
On top of being a domestic goddess and exquisite hot beverage-making skills, I come with close to a decade of share-housing experience! Originally from Southwest Victoria, formerly of Sydney’s Inner West and currently residing jn Geelong, I’m a 25-year-old freelance creative looking to relocate back to the Harbour City to pick up my career where I left it after an extended sabbatical. I like getting outdoors to do a lot of photography and sometimes staying in to sketch in my spare time - but I’m never against the odd meal, chat, drink and/or Netflix binge with housemates. Besides creative pursuits and being outdoorsy, I enjoy the odd video game (I come bonus with a PS4), quietly reading in the sun and come with enough general knowledge to make starting a house pub trivia team a practical benefit. If you think that’d I would be a welcome addition to your home, send me a message!
I'm a simple, fun loving, traveler, always up for experiments. By profession, I'm a software engineer moving to Sydney this December. My family will join me in the month of June, so I would probably in a shared accomodation till May of 2019. Please note that I'm a father, but my kid won't be accompanying me for the stay.
We are a Scottish couple coming to Sydney in a WHV and to see some of Australia’s famous landmarks. We are quiet, clean and friendly. We like to socialise but respect personal space too. We like to have a drink and a nice meal out.
Hello, I am a french architect from Paris and i am 29 years old. I will arrive to Sydney after finishing my farmwork for 2nd working holiday visa extension, the 20th of November. I am planning to search for a job and stay in Sydney until my second visa runs out, in August 2020, and maybe more if i can ! I am looking for a shared flat near Central Station. I am tidy, quiet and respectful, i also enjoy talking to people when i come back home or on my days off :) . Regards, Erwan
I am quiet, respectful, polite and I like to keep things neat and tidy. I’m a nutritionist so I’m pretty busy most days mon-fri and usually like to chill on the weekends or catch up with friends. I’m studying part time at Sydney Uni and saving for my home deposit and would like to share with other like minded people. I’m into sustainability, saving money, kirribilli markets, and like pets dogs and cats do not bother me as long as they are toilet trained! I’ve lived in shared accomodation mostly in London when I lived there. Whilst I do lead a busy life I am not opposed to having a chat or the occasional flat mates dinner. Look forward to hearing from you.
*thx for searching me out but plz don’t call me Hi, i wish to find a seperate place like studio or granny flat with suit-in kitchen and bathroom, or a master room with suitable price with separate bath. Chilled and down to earth 33yr Female and a max chilled little doggo named Zula. I work full time in Bush Regen, early morning starts Mon-Fri. Shes well clipped and groomed so doesnt leave hair or nor is she a stinky dog, she wins the hearts of everyone she meets. And also gets on with other dogs and cats. Look forward to hearing from you 🌞

I am a very accommodating person and love interacting with different kinds of people. I am a full time student who is currently looking for a part time job. In my spare time I love reading, watching movies and the enjoying the occasional nightlife. I am obsessed with exploring the world, meeting new people and trying new things. Life is all about the experiences right?! As a foodie I love to dabble in cooking although I may not be great at it. Hey guys, I'm Sherry! I am 23 years old and will be moving to Sydney fairly soon for a job offer at GTA Consultants. I'll be working fulltime Monday through Friday. I'm looking for a place to call home that is within 30 minutes from the CBD via public transport. I'm from Brisbane so I wouldn't mind having flatmates who'd be up for an adventure once in while. I am easy-going, very clean, tidy and reliable when it comes to bills and so on. This is not my first time in a share house. I enjoy a good laugh and have a huge appreciation for travelling, different foods, nature, live music and meeting new people. I would really like to live with other like-minded people and young working professionals. When I'm not working I like to relax with a good book and sometimes a Netflix binge is necessary. I like to socialise, whether it's a night in, chill drink or a night out, but I also respect others downtime. I am looking for a place to move in to from 25th January (however, this date is flexible as my starting date is on the 11th February). I will be coming down to Sydney on the 17th January through to 21st for viewings and meetups. Please, if you want to know more just send me a message! :)
Hi! I am a future international (Canadian) student at USyd and have decided I've aged out of student accommodation. I'm very active and really love to be social, but maintain a deep appreciation for quiet, lazy Sundays. I would like to live with people who are open to hanging out but who also understand that everyone needs their alone time. I like my living space clean and tidy and well-presented. I've done a decent amount of solo-travelling, so I've gotten very good at making quick friends with all different kinds of people! I'm pretty chill and I'm hoping for the same in a flatmate. I keep a healthy work-fun balance and I think I make an easy, considerate flatmate! :)
Hey my name is Stephen, I’m a 23 year old musician/teacher/bartender born and raised in Sydney. When im not working at my part time job at a live music venue in the city i enjoy catching up with mates for a boogie, exploring new hiking trails and watching the world go by at cafes. I also do the occasional singing or teaching gig here or there. I'm currently looking to find place back in the inner west a place i love so dearly and have spent many a time exploring. Although a 'muso' I’m very considerate of noise and tend to not make to much of it as I use headphones a lot when writing. Hoping to find housemates who up for a yarn over a coffee/wine and a good sense of community.
Hello there, I'm open-minded, friendly, clean and tidy. I am doing a master's degree and work a few different jobs which makes up a full-time load. No two days are ever really the same for me. I thrive on travel and excellent films and books. I keep myself healthy in every way, so I'm very easy to live with. I look forward to meeting you. Cheers, Keira
