Hey! I'm Zac and have recently relocated to Sydney from NZ at very short notice for work! I work in TV so work long hours most of the time but I am outgoing and fun to be around. I'm a pretty laid back character but don't mind a beer and a good yarn from time to time. Also like my own space. I'm clean and tidy and tend to operate a minimalist lifestyle (the hangover from constantly working overseas!) Would be great to land a place with some cool cats to ease my transition to Aussie life!
Hi, I am Will. I'm currently looking to join a share house with people in their 20's or 30's. I have a stable full time job for a company I have been with for a number of years. I'm very reliable and you will have no problems when it comes to paying bills/rent or keeping the place tidy. I'm a relaxed guy who is happy socializing or giving people their privacy. I enjoy skateboarding, reading, binge watching a good TV series, live music and going out for a beer every now and then.
Hi, I'm Anna, a 24-year-old student doing my masters in Digital Communication & Culture at Sydney Uni. I am looking for a sharehouse to live in, but more importantly for nice people to share a home and everyday life with - I'm always up for good food, board games, movie nights, the occasional night out, or just a good conversation while doing laundry. I'm optimistic, easy-going, creative, calm and a good listener. In my free time, I'm also a passionate musician, so if you enjoy some mellow ukulele music and singing (can be quiet not to disturb anyone of course), I'm your girl. I'm originally from Austria, (though I was raised practically bilingually) and I've been in Sydney for 7 months now and will stay for about another year! Other than that, I'm happy to come to viewings and chat and I hope to meet you soon! :)
Hello - originally from Brisbane, I've just moved to Sydney for work and am looking for a private room in a sharehouse. I'll be working full time weekdays 8:30 - 5:30 so will be mostly out of the way during the week. I'm very easy going and can get along with pretty much everyone suiting whatever the vibe of the house, if it's just a chill place I'm happy or if it's more social I can hang - either are good with me. I'm quite a tidy person and make a habit of picking up after myself, overall I'm just a reasonable person who gets that the lived dynamics of a shared place call for flexibility by way of mess and noise.
I'm a student from the UK working full time in Sydney as a biochemistry researcher at USYD. I'd love to meet new people and get to know the city! I love to cook and hang out but completely respect people need their personal space. While in Sydney I want to visit galleries, try out some new sports and travel to see some more of Australia! I wouldn't describe myself as a party animal but I do love a good bar with good beer.
*Young professional Australian couple looking for clean house with nice, considerate housemates in the Surry Hills area and surrounds* Laura and I are a couple moving to Sydney after I have accepted a full-time professional role working for an engineering services company in the CBD. Laura is a law graduate and hospitality professional having worked at some of the best bars and restaurants in Australia. We're kind and genuine people who are quiet but like to have fun too. We're in our mid 20's and are a polite, clean and respectful couple who like to live a somewhat healthy lifestyle, we are non-smokers, like to cook (well, Laura likes to cook) and go to the gym, but like going out and enjoying good food (cheese especially), coffee, wine and whisky occasionally. We pay our rent on time and take great pride in our home and it's presentation. We're not after a party house, but are up for occasional casual hanging out with our housemates. Send us a message for more info. Rohan and Laura :D
Hi! I have year-long working holiday visa. I’m from America. I have a job here that keeps me busy. I want to look into doing volunteer work here as well. I don’t smoke, have children, cars or pets and am very easy going and keen to meet new people as I’m brand new to Sydney! I am active and am always keen for a trip to the beach or an adventure anywhere I haven't seen! I’m a very open-minded traveler searching for new experiences and faces in new places. I have completed university as well. The place would need to be completely furnished with working internet (my phone might not work if not!). The length of time I am allowed to stay as well as the move-in-day are flexible. I would be a very social person to live with :) I would want my own room (bathroom sharing is flexible). You can background check me on social media as well at the bottom of the page!!
Having an Italian background, but raised in Aus I love to cook, I am very neat and tidy around the house. I work full time in construction and like to train 4-5 times per week and eat fairly healthy. I love a good chat and a beer or 2 on the wknd. I'm looking for some easy going flat mates male or female, who are easy to get along with.
Hello future housemates! I'm a 27 year old teacher working in the eastern suburbs. I'm from the shire originally but wanting to live somewhere closer to work. I'm usually out the door pretty early in the morning and I like to get some exercise in the afternoon but I'm generally around in the evenings or on weekends for chat and a meal/beverage. I like my house and my things neat. I also cook, clean and do the gardening but I'm pretty relaxed about about things and won't bite your head off over a plate in the sink. I like to socialise and I'm always up for an adventure but I'm also respectful of privacy and can take the energy elsewhere if you're in need of peace and quiet. Looking forward to meeting some new people and making some new friends!
Hi, how's it going! My names Joe, I'm 24 and born and raised in a small town near Toronto, Canada. I just moved to Sydney, and I'm excited to immerse myself here. During the week I work at a software company as an engineer in the CBD, but on weekends I'll be all over. I love surfing, camping, personal development, being active, and I'd love to experience as much of Australia as I can. Personally, I'm a pretty laid back guy. I'm conscientious, professional, orderly, and clean. I love to socialize, but also like time to myself. I like to cook and eat healthy, and I'm into fitness - can you recommend me a good gym? As for a place, I'm looking for somewhere close enough to the beach for a surf before work :)
I am a 23-year-old student studying social science and currently in my second year. I have a big passion for animals and do a lot of volunteer work for a multitude of organisations. I have a beautiful rescue kitty who I love to cuddle in my spare time. I love exploring new places, travelling and having a good time. Positive and happy vibes are what I live by (: I love socialising, having a drink, cooking great food. I like to balance my time with socialising but also enjoy reading and my quiet time, especially during busier times at uni! Living with me, I can promise fun, respect, laughter, a clean place, privacy and drama free living.
I'm a mum to a wonderful four year old boy named Noah and a beautiful 12 year old fur baby (cat) named Rocco. I work from home and am a mum most of the time (but share custody with Noah's dad, so I have Noah about 70% of the time). Noah goes to school in the mornings Monday - Friday and then we're usually at home for a little bit in the early afternoon, then out doing extra curricular activities, scootering around the block, playing at the park or swimming at the pool. We're an active duo. I do Energy Healing, Kinesiology & Craniosacral. We are a healthy household, as organic as possible, as environmental as possible and no TV in the house. My passions are music, spirituality, healthy living, games (cards, board games, trivia, etc), the beach, traveling, spending quality time with family & friends, yoga/pilates, going to concerts, baking paleo/raw treats. I'm actually quite the baker lately & usually have something fresh baked every day or two, which I'm happy to share with you. I'm easy going, a non-smoker, occasional drinker (enjoy Friday drinks with my friends), very clean (not to the point of OCD, but I like to keep the house clean & zen), friendly & social gal who is originally from Canada. Sydney is my home now - I became a citizen two years ago. :-) We're looking for a 3 bedroom house in the inner west (moving from the North Shore) and to have a conscious, healthy, non-smoker, clean, kind, easy going and fun flatmate join our household. You must love kids and cats! Don't be surprised if Noah becomes your best friend. He's an amazing soul who is extremely social and develops deep bonds with people easily. Rocco is another amazing soul who loves to cuddle. His favourite thing is cuddles and pats on the sofa in the evening. If you feel like we would be a good match for each other, please get in touch and we can take it from there. :-)
Hey everyone :) Just arrived in Sydney last week and am looking for accomodation starting as soon as possible. Please also let me know if you have any short-term options ( 1 - 3 weeks). I am currently doing my masters in Business administation/Marketing at the University of Hamburg in Germany and will be spending a semester at Macquarie University in the Masters of Research program. Having lived in a variety of shared appartements during my time at uni in Hamburg and while spending a couple of months in Spain after high School, I like to claim that I am easy to live with and get along with most people. :) I would prefer a private & furnished room in a location which is not toooo Long (less than 1,5 h) of a commute to Macquarie Uni (though preferably more central or closer to the beach than right next to the university). I love to travel, try to go the gym (sometimes more, sometimes less motivated), meet up with friends .....just pretty usual stuff. My Student visa expires July 31st, so I will either head back around that time or try to stay a little longer with a tourist or working holiday visa. Feel free to contact me with any questions or if you think you might have an acommodation option that could fit. :) Sandra
Hey I'm James. Im currently living in Newtown on King Street. I love the location but as with a lot of things in Newtown im paying a lot for what im getting at the moment so I'm seeking something cheaper in the new year. I'm 25 and I hail from Christchurch, New Zealand (please dont hold that against me). I've been in Sydney about six months and I work an admin job in the CBD. Ideally I'm looking for a place in the inner west because I have a few good friends there but would be happy to commute further out for the right place. The place I'm looking for is a pretty mellow sort of a house. I'd love to live with some chilled out folks who are keen to hang out and do flat activities. Im very open minded and I count some former flatmates who are very different to me amongst my closest friends. I love music and art and and anything else you would like to teach me about. I'm openly gay and very left leaning so if thats an issue I might no be your guy. I drink on weekends and smoke when I'm drinking but I'm a very non confrontational guy and respectful of house rules. Looking to move late Feb/early March as I'd like to give my current flatmates at least a little notice (this is flexible). Preferred rent would be around $200 a week but I'd pay more for the right spot. Let me know :)
Missy, 26years old full-time Barista and Matt 31years old Software Development student. We are currently living and working in Canberra but looking to move to Sydney next Sunday (Feb 25th) as Matt's study going to start very soon. We have been living in sharehouses before in Brisbane also Canberra. We tend to keep things to ourselves after working hours but would love weekend drinks to unwind. We both love playing games. We are looking for a non-crowded, clean and with minimum noise private room in a sharehouse, or another person/couple who would do a teamups. As we are both gonna be studying and/or working professionally in Sydney, we would love to, if we find the right place, to stay there long term (at least 1 year) as we don't like moving in and out of a house. Please send us a message if you have suitable listing. Thank you
We're a welsh couple that come with a sense of humour! Very clean but love a lazy Sunday.. I'm a great cook too which is ALWAYS a bonus! We're not a boring couple too, we do enjoy a beer or two but can also respect other people's lifestyles and way of living. Major dog lovers but don't have any of our own. Biggest hobbie is eating out, soooooo many good places to eat in Sydney!
I'm Jon 24 from England. Been living in Australia for a year and a half, in Sydney for a year of that. I'm chilled out clean but not a neat freak. Really social guy 100% not a hermit who lives in their room. Looking for a sociable house. Pretty quite in the week as I work in finance in the city but like to chill out with a beer and good food at night. Into my footy, cricket, music etc. Any other questions shoot me a message. Cheers, Jon
Hi My girlfriend and I just moved here as I got a job as a software developer. We are both super chilled people looking for somewhere to call home. We love cooking a good meal, a good glass of wine, and relaxing. We are bot sociable, respectful and clean. Thanks
I'm Ash (short for Ashton) a full time professional looking for my next home. Friends would call me easy going, mature and sociable. Self proclaimed foodie and amateur guitarist. I enjoy playing basketball and footy to keep fit. I'm someone who is always up for a good laugh/chat and also respects personal space and privacy. I'm clean and organised (not to the point it's OCD haha) so looking for like minded people in that respect. Not looking for a party house but I do enjoy a couple drinks on occasion. I work night shift from 7pm-7am on a 4day on 4day off roster so I'll be in and out of home at different times. Some nights you'll get the place to yourself, other nights I'll be home getting some R&R. I'm open to living with people of different genders and sexualities. As long as you pay your rent on time and clean up after yourself we're going to get along quite well. I'm flexible with pets and if you have a dog that would be awesome! *Flexible with the move in date- Mid/late March to early April* If you have questions shoot me a message and I'll get back to you. Cheers.
