I am very friendly, compassionate, caring, sympathetic, practising Christian and tolerant. I am from Mackay in Queensland. I am an African originally from Sierra Leone in West Africa. I moved to Australia as a contract teacher since 2005. I am an Australian citizen.
We are an easy going couple from England, Holly (21) & Levi (26) We are currently living in Sydney and moving up to Darwin tomorrow. We love meeting new people and travelling and looking at taking trips to Asia whilst we are up there. We plan to stay here in Darwin for a 4-5+ months and will be working full time. We like to gym, listen to music and socialise when I have time off, go to waterfalls and explore the city. I also enjoy cooking and listening to music. We are tidy and clean and always respectful and polite. If you think you have a place in your home for us then we look forward to hearing from you.
Hi :) I'm 26, working full time as a nurse at RDH. I've lived in Darwin since April last year and I'm looking for somewhere semi-long term, ideally 6 months to a year. I love cooking, baking and curling up with a good book - but I'm definitely not opposed to having a couple drinks with housemates. I'm relatively neat and tidy, a non-smoker and pretty easy to get on with. Look forward to hearing from you!
Hi! My name is Paula and I come from Chile. I'm a very easy going person, who loves music, spending time with friends but I also love some quiet time by myself. I'm organized, vegetarian and a lover of good food :) I'm looking for a place with friendly people, with whom I could cook and have a chat about life from time to time. Xx
Hi! I'm moving up to Darwin from Adelaide soon (I fly in on May-31) to start a job as a Government groundwater scientist. I'm a fairly typical late-20's guy - I enjoy all the usual things (the outdoors, travel, convos over drinks) plus less usual things like baseball, old books and old movies (B&W old). I've lived in Darwin before so I also have a pretty good existing friendship group up there. I'm looking to either move into an existing sharehouse or start one up. I've lived in sharehouses all over Australia so I know how to pull my weight and respect other's lives. A big part of my work is going to be doing fieldwork in the outback for periods of up to six weeks - so you'll have some extra space sometimes, too! Send me a message if you're keen or want to know anything else.
Currently living in Geraldton and looking to move up to Darwin by the end of June. I'll be working full time once I get there because I was lucky enough to get a transfer in my job. I'm a super chill girl and respect others' space, I'm very tidy and don't mind having a casual drink on weekends.
Karwai and I are living in Australia long term on my sponsorship visa, having done our first and second working holiday previously. We've just finished the final leg of our self drive trip around Australia, and love to take the 4WD to National Parks on the weekend. A sociable couple (together 5+ years) who love to have some drinks and eat good food.
Looking for a accommodation close to Darwin city，which is no more than 30 minute drive to Darwin city. I am a post-student just graduated from university of Melbourne, work part-time. i am a little talktive, like movies and animation.I come from China，besides English，can speak chinese and a little japinese.
I’m an easygoing person that works well with everyone. To share a accommodation with I hope to find someone clean though. I will clean after myself as well. I love animals, so pets in the house would be awesome. I’m from Belgium and my mother tongue is dutch. Like every Belgian, I like having a beer during the weekend ;) But I also like having some me time every now and then.
I have an awesome motorhome and I'm heading back to Darwin this dry season! This says alot. It says I'm well travelled, fun, independent, open-minded and have an awesome sense of humour. That said, I'm totally didactic because I'm also very responsible, mature, non-partyer (unless you count dancing around my bedroom haha), somewhat introverted and easy going. I'm into exploring (obviously), markets (attending as well as running stalls), photography, hiking, watching movies and chillaxing. I'm looking for a fully furnished room (with a desk would be a bonus) for myself and a place where Max the Motorhome can be plugged in occasionally (it has a trickle charger that sometimes needs minimal power). However, if the right place is unfurnished, I can furnish it. I prefer non-smoking homes with positive, easy going flatmates. Dogs, fish and birds are awesome but cats trigger my allergies. A pool or spa would be lovely, as would a location near a gym or outdoor park. A bath (a real sized one, not a tiny one for children and midgets) would be heaven with lots of greenery. Preferred location: within 30 mins drive of Darwin CBD. Date: at this stage, it will be around 3 June with lots of flexibility.
I’ve just moved up from Melbourne and looking for somewhere short/long term, but ideally long term. Furnished/unfurnished. I keep pretty busy - swimming, cooking, camping, music. Looking for like-minded people who enjoy a casual drink and a laugh at times, but who also appreciate a clean and chilled house. I’ll be away for work a couple of weeknights most weeks. :)
I am an easy going girl from Germany that loves meeting new people and travelling. I plan to stay here in Darwin for a few months and am working full time. I like to do sport, listen to music and socialise when I have time off. I also enjoy cooking and listening to music. Tidy and clean.
We're both clean and tidy, and respect people's privacy but also enjoy hanging out with other house-mates. We both like to cook delicious food that looks super fancy and hipster, but is actually quick and easy to make, e.g., last week I made eggplant and zucchini stacks with chilli brie and pepperoni, while Greg made a shredded sweet potato and kale salad with pomegranate seeds. And yes, we're THOSE people who brew our own kombucha / make saurkraut / make our own wooden spice rack, that sort of thing :P We both love animals and the outdoors - Greg is doing his PhD in evolutionary biology and I'm working for Conservation Volunteers. We spend every few weekends out exploring Kakadu, as my parents live out there too. We are moving in a few months, so looking for a place from now until mid-July.
