Hey, I'm Chloe and I'm 25. I'm moving to Sydney in April with my work and will be working in financial services. After living in London for nearly 3 years, I'm super excited to live by the beach and spend my weekends on the beach, surfing and exploring Sydney! I enjoy keeping active and running, cooking (especially with wine!), socialising & finding cool places to explore. Hoping to live with other young professionals who want to be friends and not just flatmates so please get in touch if you have a room or are interested in a teamup. I'm moving over mid-April so keen to do viewings from then and move in at the end of April. :-)
I'am positive guy who likes to live well in a clean and organized environment, I'am a easy going person who likes to keep the things simple as they are, travel a lot, know different cultures and socialize with people, exchanging experiences. I like to study, and work during the week and go out on the weekend. My hobbies are study, read, surfing, hangout with friends and gym This is my second time in Aus, I lived there in 2006/07.
Dan and myself are extremely friendly individuals who are very organised and trustworthy. we are tidy and very organised as we love a routine. In our spare time we love to keep fit and work out and we also love to cook. We are from the United Kingdom and are both English speaking. Dan and I respect peoples privacy and love making new friends.
I am a male 24 years old that recently got out of defence. I work full time and study part time at tafe.I am an easy-going person. Friendly, love a good laugh and open-minded so there will never be short of fun conversations. I like my quiet times but also try to socialise on the weekend; love the beaches and great Sydney night scenes. I love to cook but questions will be asked on why i cook the same food =)
I'm currently a teacher living in Adelaide, SA moving to Sydney for a crazy career change mid May to start as a firefighter. Nothing like chasing your dream. I am passionate about my fitness - CrossFit being my drug of choice. I'm pretty easy to get along with, enjoy some down time with a good book but also love a good games night and banter over a few vinos. Coffee lover who enjoys eating out and trying new places. I have a little Jack Russell whos name is Dexter. He turns 9 this year so is getting on a little but is so cute and well behaved. I would love to have him with me but I understand he might have to have a holiday at my parents while I get things sorted in Sydney. If you think we might be well suited send me a message and we can get house hunting!!
Hello there, my name is Sachi and I’m a 30 year old professional working as a Business Analyst in St Leonards. I LOVE to travel [in fact I think I’m addicted to it :)], dance, and discovering new genres of music. I’m also involved in community work and volunteer 1 day a week. The Beach is my happy place (a lover of Snorkeling) and I love beautiful sunny days :) Other than that, I’m a clean, tidy and very easy going person. You’ll always hear me playing my jazz/ bossa nova/ soul music (not loud though) and enjoying the simple things in life such as travelling!! :)
I am an easy-going person. Friendly, love a good laugh and open-minded so there will never be short of fun conversations. I like my quiet times but also try to socialise on the weekend; love the beaches and great Sydney night scenes. I am multilingual; I speak fluent English, Bahasa Indonesia, Malay and very poor Dutch as my mother is Indonesian and my father is Dutch. Although, I am an Australian citizen now. Before Australia, I've lived around a few countries in my whole 20 years of life, in cities such as Jakarta, Bali and Singapore. So if you come from or have lived in any of those places too, we'll have great fun relating through them! I have one year experience living in a share house with seven other girls when I was up in Newcastle, so I understand the aspects of living together, sharing a home under mutual respect. At home, I am undoubtedly very neat and tidy with my personal spaces; I take very good care of my belongings and their surroundings. You wouldn't have to worry about mess or dirty dishes hanging around the house because I cannot stand them let alone live with them! If you have pets, I'll love them to bits. My parents are keeping my two dogs; Snowy is a Japoodle and Bruno is a pug. If you have a dog too, maybe we can bring them on nice beach walks on sunny days as mine loves it! I study Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Laws in University of Newcastle, although I am taking a gap year just to work full time and build up my savings. In addition, at the moment I am working full-time as a barista in a French cafe, needless to say, your daily bread need is sorted. White, wholemeal, rye, sourdough, you name it. I usually bring home hot pies and cakes too! Although I always try to keep up a healthy lifestyle five days a week. The other two days I eat yummy sugars watching Netflix. So if you are up for a gym and Netflix buddy, I'm your gal :) Cheers! X Hana
I'm Alex from Los Angeles. I work in Merrickville in TV/Film. Always down to head to the beach, grab a coffee or make a family meal. Definitely a seeker of cheap fun: nature, festivals, exhibits, parties, etc. Love to surf, run, travel, watch movies and go see live music. I'm here for a good time not for a long time as I'm here on a Working Holiday Visa, so 3 to 4 months is my commitment. I'm very respectful of my flatmates and I clean up after myself. Really I'm looking for some nice, fun people who can have a drink/chat with me and explore Sydney outside the 9-5. Cheers!
Hi, I am Natalie. A german girl in her late 20s looking for a room to stay in until 17th of April. I am very tidy and easygoing. I respect everyones privacy but I am still very communicative if wished :) Cheers, Natalie
Just arrived in Sydney after 9 months of backpacking Asia. After living in NYC for the past 8 years, I'm excited to check out a new city. I'm currently looking for work (digital media) and won't be able to commit to a long term stay until I know the job will be in Sydney. That said, I'm also in the market for short term while I figure out this whole work thing. Either way, priority will be given to furnished rooms. So you probably want to know a bit about me...I'm the type of person who works out so I don't feel guilty eating the entire bag of chips. I'm equality content with being outside riding a bike or hiking or maybe rock climbing (new hobby?) as I am reading a book on the couch with a glass of wine. Balance is key. While I was living alone back in NY, I've been surrounded by people 24/7 for 9 months so having roommates again seems like it'll be an easy adjustment. While I'm ok with us having our own lives, as I'm new to town, I'd much prefer roommates that doubled as friends. Oh.. And I love dogs (just in case you have or were thinking of getting one)
I have recently moved to Sydney and am planning on staying in Sydney until September the 4th where I will then be going back to the UK. I am currently on a working holiday visa and looking for work. However, I do have enough funds for the duration of my stay should I decide not to work and therefore rent payments will not be a problem. I am an respectful, active and social person who enjoys meeting new people. I hold a professional job back in England but have taken a sabbatical to explore what Sydney has to offer.
Hi there, I'm Hilary. I've just turned 31 and back in Sydney are living overseas in the UK and US for the past 4 years. I absolutely love Manly and grew up in the area. I'll be working full time in the city doing project finance for infrastructure projects from the start of April. I'll have the regular Monday to Friday schedule, leaving early on some mornings to exercise and occasionally out with friends after work. On the weekends you will likely find me swimming or surfing in the ocean and brunching with friends. I'm a non smoker, single and aside from a few wines on the weekend, live a healthy lifestyle. M I like to keep things clean and tidy and very aware of what it means to be a good house mate. I'm hoping to live with someone of a similar age, work schedule and keeps crazy parties elsewhere. If we can hang out once in a while and enjoy some trashy TV that would also be great (but obvs not in a needy way) Hope that sounds like a fit for you Hilary
I was born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico where I lived for the first 18 years of my life. I just moved to Sydney 1 month ago from San Francisco CA. I am currently on the Working Holiday visa for a year but I am looking to get sponsored so I can stay longer :) I am starting with a part time job but that should grow into full time in the next few months. In my free time I enjoy cooking, hiking, surfing, running, walking, pilates, reading, traveling and pretty much any other type of activity that is outdoors. Since I arrived in Manly I have been going to the beach every day, rain or shine :). I am never really in the house during the day and when I come home I am pretty quite. I love to have a good time on the weekends but on weekdays I am pretty relaxed and usually just read and/ or watch netflix. I am very clean and respectful of any place that I am living, especially when it comes to the shared spaces in the house. Please reach out if you have any other questions and/ or want to know anything else about me!
Hi, I'm Giulia, I'm from Sicily and I just moved in Australia. I'm looking for a nice place where I can live. I'm a pianist, anthropologist, choir singer and a cello student. I work as piano teacher. I'm very tolerant, not noisy and respectful. I like diversity and people doing different stuff around me. I have a very happy personality...
Hi guys, Having lived in shared houses for a good number of years, I know what I'm looking for: a (fairly) tidy house where I can kick back & relax after work, hopefully with flatmates who wanna join me for a glass of wine or a gig. I like to think that I have a laidback attitude towards shared bills and friends stopping by for drinks. Likewise, I hope that you don't mind me inviting friends over for the occasional dinner, and that you are as keen on binging shows (Stranger Things anyone?) when hungover. I've lived in Melbourne for the past 1.5 years and loved it, but now it's time to get a taste of the Sydney lifestyle. Although I already know a good few people in Sydney, I'd love to get to meet new folks and see where you hang out. About myself: I love sports and great food, and try to let the one not exclude the other (aka no dieting). Sports: running (training for the Great Ocean half marathon), indoor soccer, Hit training. Other: brunch, movies, occasional museum, festivals.
Post grad at ANU and visual Artist... fitness and good food... good cooking... and clever living. mature age 30+something student.. lived in sharehouses before.. pretty chill at home.. into occasional communal activities and very tidy ;->.
Hi, I like to think I'm very active, I work 6 days, I am a carpenter. I'm always up for doing things. Easy to get along with and love music and cooking. Just moved to Sydney from years abroad. Single. Love dogs, indifferent to cats. Terrible at punctuation.

I am moving the Sydney with my partner in April and we are looking for a room to help us get on our feet before we decided the best location for us to live more prementantly. I am a Kiwi currently living in the UK with my British partner. We are looking forward to having an Australian lifestyle, especially some sunny weather. My partner plays rugby (will be for Drummoyne) so I spend most Saturday's watching him play. I am looking forward to enjoying cafe culture again and maybe even taking up surfing! We are social but also respectful and enjoy a night in with a bottle of wine and a movie! I am a Sensory and Consumer Scientist and work in the food industry. I love cooking and being in the kitchen when I find the time. I also like to paint, I sell some of my work but also like to decorate the house with it as well. My partner Oli loves rugby, all day everyday, any day. He is a keen sportsman, likes to gym, loves hanging out with dogs going to the beach and sunbathing! He is very relaxed and easy going. We both grew up with dogs and would love to have one in the house but obviously this is not a must! We would like to make friends and settle in to our new life in Sydney. We are arriving until the 16th of April.
Hey Guys, I am Dana. I am the creative type. Graphic designer working full time also freelancing in graphic design, signage and websites. I love to travel. In saying this I do also enjoy my own down time and respect others like to have theirs. Currently living on the central coast sharing with 8 people looking at moving to Sydney (preferably Manly or somewhere nearby) to be closer to family. If you are looking for someone easy going, enjoys a good meal, good conversation, enjoys music and is neat and clean who dislikes dirty dishes sitting in the sink I wash as I go. Then send me a msg. Create a great week to live in! Dana
Hi everyone, Looking for a home for my puppy and I. She is actually 3 years old, so not really a puppy but the size of a golden lab-super cute and wants nothing more then cuddles and attention. Fully house trained, lives outside when I'm at work and will have a dog walker a couple of times per week. Would be great if there is another dog in the house so she has company during the day. I'm looking for a shared house within commutable distance to the city, as I work full time in HR and recruitment for a large engineering and building company. Preferrably an unfurnished room but this negotiable. I'm a keen cook (so expect to be fed from time to time), enjoy going to the gym, socialising with friends and when the weather premits going to the beach. Keen next summer to get more into sailing and paddle boarding. Let me know if you have a possible room or have any questions. Emma
Hi, I'm an Architect moving to Sydney with a Working holiday visa. I intend to work full-time in my field. I have already lived in Dee Why for a couple of years (from 2011-2013) and now that I'm returning to Sydney would be great to start again in an area I know. I'm a easy going, tidy and clean person. Also I don't smoke. I will arrive in Sydney by the 18th of May. Also, I'm married, but my husband is not moving to Australia with me in these first 3 to 6 months... So It will be only me during the rent period. If you have any question, please feel free to contact me. Kind regards, Pam.
I'm an easy going, down to earth 41y old guy from Germany who loves to travel and meet new people. I work in digital marketing and enjoy the small things in life. I will be in Australia for the next three months and looking for a nice and quiet place. :-)
Hey everyone! I will play out the scenario for you, if you like the sound of it, hit me up, if not, then that's okay, I think you are pretty cool anyways and I wish you all the best finding a place! If you're still listening here we go. Wine and Beer will be in the fridge and can be enjoyed on weekends and maybe a cheeky one after a hard day at the office (or Zoo, depending where you work of course). The apartment can be shown to our friends, even the clean freaks without them fainting and taking them to hospital (no one wants that to happen). We can mix up our nights from anything between Netflix to a camping trip on weekends and anything in between. If you know another language - great! I will be asking you to teach me this language. If you love travelling as well you are on your way to becoming the champion (not sure of what exactly, it just sounds cool). I am vegan, but you don't have to be - in fact I might just get a little jealous if you are eating chocolate - and you know I won't steal any of it! Overall, I am looking for someone clean, chilled out, can enjoy each others company yet know when we need our private time. If this sounds like you, send me a message and mention your favourite animal, because I like animals :D
