I am a pretty easy going person. I love to have a chat but am also mindful of when people want a bit of space. My ideal household is one where there is a good group dynamic and where you will do the odd thing as a household but also are independent. I am a keen brewer, the only problem being while I love to brew I actually don't drink that much beer (good for those around me). I pursued this at Uni level but haven't taken it professional. I am involved in amateur theatre and that keeps me off the streets. I also love to garden, even if it is just maintaining the garden and have all the tools. I am an experienced renter and housemate and understand the need to get involved in the running of the household otherwise you are essentially asking someone else to carry the load. I have a super friendly staffy which I walk regularly both in the morning and evening. Lets face it, he essentially takes me for the walk. I work full time.
Hi! I am about to move to Canberra from Sydney to start a PhD degree in ANU. I’m very laid back and like to enjoy some alone time. In my free time I like to work out, cook and check out new restaurants. I’m looking for a flatmate/flatmates to share a house or flat that is ideally close to ANU.
I'm a Public Servant and pretty heavy into my work. I play a bit of sport on the side, too, so I'm hardly ever home. When I am, it's early bed time on school nights! I'm looking to team up with someone who is just as busy as myself. If you're independent, a go getter, and career driven, I think we'll be great for eachother! We'll live in a minimum two bedroom, two bathroom place, I'll take the ensuite room and pay the proportionate amount. The other bathroom is yours. We'll support eachother, yet give eachother the right amount of space. Your friends and family are obviously welcome to stay whenever needed (space permitting). And most importantly, if you know any dogs, they can come visit on the weekends.
I’m a pretty down to Earth and considerate person, I’m very social and generally get along with everyone. I work full time in the public service, enjoy a good book and quite the exercise keen bean, particularly running. I currently live in a single apartment, but am keen to downsize and move a little closer to work (24 kilometres a day on the bike is proving a little tough).
Hello, I'm twenty years old I'm looking for a place Ideally close to the city. I work full time Monday to Friday, looking for a pet friendly place as I have a beautiful dog called Echo that would love a place to call home as well. Please contact me if you think we would be a great addition to your home :)
I’m easy to get along with, reliable and as happy to share a meal as to have an evening to myself. I‘m from Austria and will be interning at the Austrian Embassy starting on 8 July for three month. I’m looking for a furnished room for short term rent (3 months) starting July 2019.
Hi, my name's Adam (on the right), 34, I'm relocating back to Canberra (from eastern Victoria) for work. I work in exhibitions / cultural sector. Lifestyle wise, I'm big on yoga, fitness and health. I'm a pilates instructor (mat mainly), a spin/cycle/RPM instructor. I have a design background in exhibitions and interior architecture. I've also done some work in fashion and have been doing post-grad study in graphic design and illustration (on and off ... off for the next six months). So I like to dabble in some drawing when I have some time. I enjoy quiet nights and weekends just as much as social nights (preferably not mid-week) and weekends. I'm an early riser (as group fitness instructors are). I've lived in share houses for many years so I know the drill - like to be clean, tidy, eat well, etc. I will be in Canberra to find a place / inspect: Friday 28th June - after 6PM Saturday 30th June - anytime Sunday 31st June - anytime Monday 1st June - before 10am I aim to move between July 8th and 12th as I start my job on the 15th of July.
Hi, I'm Béla a Hungarian guy, young professional and I just got a job here. Travelled a lot in a last 1,5 year but it looks I'm settleing down and need a place I can call home. First I look for a place for 4-months. I think I'm open-minded, good-tempered, not too introvert but not too extrovert person and like to live a social life. (I'm non smoker) My favourite hobbies are hiking, cycling, occasionally climbing, going out to cinema and I'm keen to catch up with my friends. In my freetime also like to play on my ukulele (I'm not the best musician) or gather around the table to have dinner with my flatmates or watch a movie.:) If you have further questions please contact with me. Cheers, Bela.
I like to cook and to keep things nice. I sew & do some charity work. I write. I come with a 17 year old, year 12 student daughter. (Picture a quiet, non-caffeinated version of 'Gilmore Girls'.) So: I need 2 bedrooms. I'm a sci-fi/fantasy fan, read books as well as watch shows & chatter online with my worldwide group of "imaginary friends". I'm good with animals but don't own any.
Hey! I'm 29 and a full-time IT Consultant and part-time Uni student from Sydney! I made move to Canberra to embark on new journey in working Cyber Security. I've been living in Canberra for almost 7 months now and currently living in Dickson. I love to keep active, whether that would be going to the gym, bouldering or going for a run. I like to snowboard but not really enjoying the Canberra winter (my Sydney bones cannot handle it). I like socialising and enjoying a meal together but also need some time to unwind and focus on studying. Love to grab a coffee or a drink and meet formally! Regards, Dave
