I'm a 46 year old professional from Sydney working for a company in Braddon. I'm planning to stay only 4 nights as I will be travelling to back to Sydney for the weekend.
25 year-old recent graduate working fulltime at in marketin. Looking for a place for myself and my very friendly indoor cat Cairo, preferably within the inner-north or Belconnen areas. I like to get out of the house on weekends and keep pretty quiet during the week. I like living with housemates that want to get to know each other, but am conscious of the need for downtime. Always on time with bills/rent etc.
Looking to join a sharehouse or team up and start a new one.. About me : Fully employed, financially independent. Creative soul. I'm an experienced house-sharer, considerate of others, clean, respectful, social / independent. Looking for a large room, or seperate space to setup my studio desk. Enjoy travelling, going on walks / hikes, photography, nature, reading, seeing live music, catching up with friends, music festivals, or wherever the day takes me. Home Life : I enjoy social time when living with others but also value my own space. I like to keep things fairly clean, but i'm not a clean freak. Ideally : i'd be sharing with some awesome, creative type people, who enjoy a meal / get together, but who also respect each others space. The usual really. Have a small bunch of furniture - couch, fridge, microwave, bed, desks, bookshelves, etc... If you think we'd be a good fit get in touch! Anthony.
I'm a recent graduate moving from Melbourne for work. I don't really know anyone in Canberra so I would like to be able to get to know the people I'm living with as friends as well as roommates. I'm pretty chill and easy going person, I like to keep my space pretty tidy, enjoy having a chat after work and respect the need for personal space.
Late twenties, work full-time as an engineer in renewable energy. Recently moved to Canberra from NZ. Love cooking, and sharing a beer or glass of wine in the evening. Always keen to get outdoors in the weekend and see somewhere new. Want to know more... just ask :)
Hi! Your Filipina's girl name is Dianne. I am about to take my 2nd bachelor degree at University of Canberra starting this August 2018. I am very organized and easy to get along with. I also know how to cook and do some household chores. I respect privacy but if you want someone to talk with, my time's yours!
I have pretty simple needs and I keep things pretty straightforward. I usually manage all my priorities by my self like cooking, cleaning etc and sticking to the household necessities. I like occasional amiable chit chats with flatmates as long as everybody is in their comfort zone. I'll be graduating from ANU in mid-July so I need an accommodation somewhere around that time. ** If it sounds like we can work out things, drop me a message and I'll respond**
My name is Ahmed and I'm 32 years old. I work as an assistant lecturer/research assistant. At the same time I'm a 3rd year PhD student at ANU, studying molecular biology at JCSMR. I'm a very respectful, quiet, clean, responsible, non-smoking and tidy person. At the weekend, I like to enjoy cooking and sharing my food with my housemates. I have been living in Dickson for the past year. Looking for a room reasonably close to ANU. I'm flexible with the duration of the lease and ready to move as soon as possible.
Hi! I'm an APS graduate looking for a new place since my lovely current housemates are both coupling up. I'm originally from Melbourne, living in Lyneham and would love to stay in north Canberra, within ~30 minute cycling distance of work in NewActon. As a housemate I'm very friendly, considerate and reasonably tidy. I keep very busy, but I love a friendly housemate debrief at the end of the day. I'm vego but I don't care what other people cook or eat. I've lived in sharehouses for many years with great friendly/respectful vibes and I'd love to find that again in my next place. I come with a very cute and well behaved 9 year old Maltese x Cavalier doggo. She gets walks every day so she doesn't need much space, and mostly keeps to herself but will be your best friend once she gets to know you. I know some landlords are reluctant to accept pets, but she is a wonderful tenant, doesn't shed and comes with great references from my current and previous properties. I'm hoping to move somewhere by the 12th of July. Hoping to hear from anyone who thinks their place might be a good fit!
I'm a student at the ANU studying Politics, Philosophy and Economics and will be coming back from exchange in July. Prior to exchange, I lived with my girlfriend in Lyneham and absolutely loved it there. She will be going on exchange herself during the second-half of the year so looking for a room of my own. I'm interested in most things, but I'm an avid reader and love to walk/ride through the Canberra scenery! I'm neat and tidy, relaxed and have a few years of rental/sharehouse experience.
I am easy going, tidy, pretty quiet and love to read but am always up for a chat or just to hang out and watch a movie. I work part time at a local cinema and can bribe you with free trips to the movies. I really like music and going out to gigs and concerts. I also quite like a chill beer and bit of pool in a pub.
Hi! I love socialising but also enjoy me-time. Pretty chill, a commerce student at ANU, graduating at the end of this year. Defs a dog person, but cats are cool too. Im a really outdoorsy kinda guy, my favourite memes on facebook are Yes/No? and spicy designer memes.
I recently moved to Canberra from Adelaide to start as a grad in the APS. I’m friendly, easy going and keep things neat and tidy. I appreciate the need for personal space but I’m always up for a chat. In my free time you’ll find me cooking/eating, rewatching Parks and Rec, hanging out with friends and road tripping to the coast at every opportunity. Send me a message if you've got a room in the inner north and I sound like someone you could live with.
I am 34 and originally from Cyprus. I am a physical oceanographer and just moved in to Canberra. I work at the ANU. I consider myself being on the social-side of the spectrum. I enjoy the outdoors, e.g., road biking and hiking. During the past two years at Scripps I also got the surfing-worm inside me. I also enjoy cooking. A room in a house with another 2-3 other people would be great. I’m looking for a place within biking distance from ANU. A ~20min bike ride would be ideal.
Hi! I'm Roshen from Sri Lanka. I'll be studying at ANU mid-June 2018 onwards and I intend to work on a part-time basis. I have attended few international conferences and have worked with people from different nationalities and cultures, I have been able to move along with them easily. Therefore, I have no trouble in mingling with people from different backgrounds and I am sociable and friendly. I am the sort who won't trouble anyone and prefer helping whenever needed. I value peace of mind and hence, am neat and organized. I love listening to classical music and a fan of swimming.
Hello! I'm a 35 yr old female moving to Canberra for work. I'm easy to live with: clean, respectful and friendly. I'm sociable and love to chat, but I also understand if you need some quiet time. I don't smoke and have no pets. I would need a furnished room with my own bathroom if possible. I'm also happy to share the bathroom with another female. Off street parking would be preferred.
Hi, I am Aishwarya and I'm moving to Canberra to study at ANU. I am ambivert so I love doing outdoorsy stuff, but I also enjoy to spend some time alone. I am sucker for comedy series and always in to do quirky stuff. I am here looking for flatmate and also a friend as I come in this city to start afresh. :)
Hi, I'm 25, moving up to Canberra in July to study. I generally like to keep busy between studying and working but when I'm not doing either of those I like to relax with some TV or go out for coffee/food/drinks. I'm a bit of a foodie and I like to cook a fair bit. I like to keep clean and I respect others' privacy whilst also being friendly and chill.
Hey Guys I'm a Melburnian taking my shots here in the APS. I'm an easy going person who wants to make the best out of this Canberra experience and know that having a great home and roommate is key. I’m looking for a place I can be comfortable in and I’d love to share a home with people I can vibe with. I’m very clean and also big on personal space and respect. I need a place that can reciprocate that. Please reach out if you’ve got a suitable place going. Cheers,
