Hi! I'm a pretty quiet person - but I'm more fun when I manage to chill! I like to keep busy and I value a tidy space. I've got something of a green thumb (only for cactuses though!) and an eye for good lighting. I'm originally from NSW but I've been in the ACT for over two years now. I'm a law student at the ANU but I'm expecting to graduate at the end of the year (all fingers crossed). I've worked in the legal profession for the past few years and I'm currently employed at a law firm! I really enjoy watching movies and reading books. I'm really into sci-fi but I enjoy any movie that might seem a little weird!
I'm starting a grad position with the Dep of Infrastructure. Have share housed, ran share houses and truly enjoy the company of others. Especially over a home cooked meal and some wine. I'm an avid gardener, forager, pickler and fermenter. Having recently mourned the loss of my sourdough starter due to my extensive travels overseas. I enjoy clean public spaces, dirty jokes and a good contagious laughing fit. I have plenty of furniture, cookware and can get a fridge and washing machine from Melbourne if required. Oh, that's where I'm from but I'm rather well travelled also. If you're keen to start a place or have a room spare let's catch up for a coffee and see how we get along.
I am a student at ANU studying Psychology and Philosophy. I consider myself a very chilled out and open-minded person. I enjoy spending my free time chilling in the sun reading, being in nature, cooking and eating food, playing games. I would enjoy living with people who are open-minded thinkers who i can have fun and interesting discussions with, whilst also giving each other our own space.
My name is David and I’m 25 years old and from Sweden. I’m a person that likes all kinds of technical things! Other than that I’m an active person that likes to exercise. So, technical things, solutions and Sports, those are my two main interests. I don’t smoke, and I'm not traveling with a pet.
Hi there! I am a student moving to Canberra for 1 year to work while completing a postgraduate degree. I love animals but sadly will be leaving my dog at home. I am typically a quiet person when at home who prefers to relax by going outside or watching videos/movies. I clean up after myself and enjoy gardening and adding some green touches! I prefer to cook my own meals at home most of the time but do enjoy going out to try new places to eat. I will have a busy schedule so wish to find a place that is calm and quiet. Hope to be in touch soon!
I'm in my early 20s and a 2nd year student of policy studies at ANU. I work two paid jobs and have my next two volunteer positions lined up for 2018. For a long time now I've been living in a unilodge room. I decided not to apply for a new residential because I've had enough of hotel style accommodation and I'm looking for a home. I'm a student of French and Arabic. I'm very handy when things need doing. I'm not a very knowledgeable gardener but I grew up with a veggie garden and I'm a pretty good cook with fresh ingredients (thanks parents). I'm a hard worker but I love a drink and a chat when I can squeeze it in. As a nature lover, I can I try to head down to the snowys or out to the Shoalhaven area whenever I can. I'm very clean and I'm especially respectful of shared spaces. I grew up driving around Melbourne so I love Canberra 'traffic' :). I'm staying with a family in Pattaya for the next few days but ill be back in Aus mobile reception in a few days.
I'm moving from Melbourne to Canberra in Feb 2018 for a Grad Program. I'm looking for shared accommodation in Belconnen or surrounding suburbs (within close proximity of public transport) in Feb. I enjoy binge watching tv shows and exploring new brunch spots! I’m a tidy person by nature, respectful of personal space and privacy but happy to socialise too!
I work full time for Federal Government, I've been told I'm a pretty chilled, and clean housemate. I'm a musician and a gamer, however I won't play music loudly unless you're not home. I am a Vegan (but I won't judge your lifestyle). I have the most beautiful, gentle and sweet adult cat, who is impeccably trained and thus is easy to live with. I love coffee and do enjoy a drink, but I don't host any parties. I'm serious about having a place with good internet, air conditioning and heating. Importantly, I'm willing to do all the ground work to find a pet friendly house that isn't too far from Civic.
Hi, I'm passionate about recycling, helping out, great at fixing things, and have a very sociable Jack Russell who loves attention and a ball. Currently renting in Gungahlin (last 14 months), I work full time in Civic (I.T.), and want to be closer to work so I can ride my bike ($16.70 for parking is ridiculous). I spend some weekends at coast or camping/visiting friends/kids interstate. Looking for a place that has a secure outside yard and a space to park the car.
Hi! I'm moving from Brisbane to Canberra and the beginning of February for a full time engineering graduate position. As I don't know anyone in Canberra (yet!), I am hoping to find a share house with people I can be friends with. I am fairly flexible with length of stay, with ideally a minimum of 6 months. I'm a very easy going, sociable and friendly person who likes living in a tidy, happy place. I love getting out of the house, especially on weekends (pretty excited to try skiing...), but also love spending nights in binging Netflix, reading a good book or just chilling out. I respect people's privacy, the home and will always help out with cleaning. Look forward to meeting you! Cassie
Hi there! I’m an IT professional working for a city based law firm. I am friendly, approachable and easy to get along with. I like to cook and always like to keep things clean, neat and tidy. I like to socialise and meet new people, but value "me time" and relaxation. I'd prefer a night in over a night out, though I enjoy the occasional fun night out with good people. I'm a bit of a gamer and tech head, but also love to get outside in the sun and be active. Having my own car makes getting around easy and I bus to and from work. Location and moving in dates are flexible as is the length of stay. Ideally looking for somewhere longer term.
Hi there My name is Danielle, I’m a 33yo single lady relocating from the far south coast of NSW for work. I am very interested in a room with either an ensuite or my own bathroom. I have excellent rental references, secure full time employment, always pay bills on time, very clean, no fuss, respectful of privacy, friendly and easy to get along with. I have lived in share houses before & know the drill :) Keen to make some new friends and explore all Canberra has to offer! I am fairly quiet by nature, enjoy brunch with friends, quiet drinks occasionally (not the type to bring the party home though), grabbing a bargain or two at local markets, watching Netflix, reading a good book with a cuppa. I am also keen to improve my overall health, so would be looking to spend some time at the gym. I am looking to move to Canberra around 10-15th of February and initially seeking a 6month contract. If you have a room available and you would like to meet with me, Saturday’s would work best as I am 3hrs south at the moment and still currently working full time hours - but happy to work out another day if that would suit you better :) Hope to hear from you soon, take care Dani
Melbournian-turned-Canberran working full time in government legal team and studying full time. Suffice it to say I'm not home very often, but when I am, I'm tidy, easy-going and am always keen for a bit of banter and to share meal with housemates. On top of being able to whip up some fairly yummy nibbles to share, my hobbies don't infringe on common spaces or contribute to noise pollution (reading, casual gaming, being generally boring and inoffensive). I'm also very aware of personal space, and like to have mine from time to time to unwind, and good at respecting that of my housemates. I'm also keen on teaming up on a lease, so if our price points/areas of interest/actual interests/anything else's line up, please feel free to send me a message and we can go from there!
Hey, I'm Karina, I have too many nicknames to list here! Been in Canberra for about 4 years now, which I've heard basically makes me a local. I'm a young professional working full time, who enjoys getting outside for a hike as much as I love curling up and reading the internet for hours. I am very self sufficient but enjoy sharing a glass of wine with a friendly housemate at the end of the day. I'm looking for somewhere long term - 2 years is a good start! Yes, that's a quokka selfie!
Hey all, I'm 22 and a recent graduate moving to Canberra in 2018 for a full time job. I'm fun, respectful, and happy to hang out but also enjoy my own space. I am looking to move in somewhere for at least 12 months with people who are social, relaxed, and fun to be around. Send me a message if you have any questions :)
I am a 32 year old Public Servant who is originally from Sydney but moved to Canberra 5 years ago for work. I have previously lived in shared houses and am well-trained :) I am really easygoing and in my spare time like to go to the Gym, locate new venues for weekend brunch, go hiking or play board games. I am also a bit of a history buff :) Looking to move closer to work in the city—ideally looking for inner north suburbs of Canberra and a 6-12 month lease
Hi! I recently finished my undergraduate degree in Speech Pathology at the University of Newcastle and have been offered a full-time job in Canberra. Since I will be moving to a new place, I am keen to explore Canberra and meet new people. Although I like some alone time, I am keen to live with others who will be up for a chat, exploring Canberra and being friends as well as housemates. I have lived with numerous housemates before and haven't had any problems. I am clean, friendly and and respectful of others and am looking for housemates with these same qualities.

Would love to chat with you further, And will be happy to provide references of my past housemates, along with my rental history. Hey there! I'm a full time physics student at ANU about to start my fourth year, and part time aerial silks teacher and performer. Having lived in a share house for the past 2 years I think I've pretty much got the hang of the housemate etiquette - I'm clean and tidy, pay my bills on time and tend to cook a bit more food than necessary in case there's hungry housemates wandering around. Love having housemate drinks and family time, but personal space and quiet time are also vital. Sound interesting? Maybe I'm the housemate for you!
Easy going young couple looking to team up and find a place in Canberra's Inner North starting from early March. We are both sociable and enjoy making new friends. About Rachael: - full time APS employee - binge watches the Crown - likes cooking, scuba diving, and travel About Henry: - studies architecture at UC - regularly quotes Lord of the Rings - likes going out for beers and is an avid bike rider We have a fair bit of furniture, and have both been in sharehouses for several years so we know how to be considerate roommates. We will start looking for an apartment ASAP.
I'm a 25yo moving across to Canberra for the APS and am looking to find housemates who enjoy to socialise, but are also respectful of one another's personal space and down time. I'm an easy going individual who loves to cook, watch sport and go out for dinner and drinks.
