Hi, I'm a student from the Netherlands and I'm going to work at the Dutch embassy for 6 months. Therefor I'm looking for a nice place to stay in Canberra. I'm a social guy who likes to hang out, grab a beer, or do something active together. I myself are an enthousiastic speed skater and cyclist and I love movies!
I am a PhD student from the UK looking for a relaxed, homey and friendly house share. I am returning to Canberra after spending a year in Myanmar as part of my research and am excited to return and find a comfy Canberra home. I am friendly and easy-going and would love somewhere where I have friendly flatmates around while also able to enjoy my own space.
I am a 34 y.o designer who has just been employed by a graphic design agency in Canberra. I am easy going, clean and tidy. Naturally after a long day I enjoy quiet nights in accompanied by a glass of vino. Whilst I am open and value camaraderie amongst roommates, I am also very respectful of other's and their personal space. Being of Italian descent, expect delicious aromas in the kitchen :D At the moment I am from Sydney looking to move to Canberra in the next week. Looking forward to hearing from you!
I work in technology-public sector. I'm a project manager. I'm looking for a furnished apartment. I'm pretty active, enjoy jogging and aerobics. I like reading and enjoy good music. On weekends I like to hangout, drink good coffee and eat good food. I also travel to Sydney regularly on weekends.
Hi there, I'm Kiah, I am living in Sydney at the moment in an awesome apartment, studying and working. I'm relocating to Canberra and would like to find a great new place to call home for the next 6 months to a year. I'm very tidy, clean and organised. I enjoy being social with my housemates and value quiet time at home, also love to have personal space/privacy and completely respect yours. I'd like to move around early-mid July. Please message if you'd like to get in contact.
I am a very clean and tidy person. Willing to care for the home as if it was my own. I make a good stir fry and scrambled eggs, or making toast. Looking for a share house with 2 or 3 people max (Including myself), and which understands the need for space, but up for a meal a few times a week. NBN Internet is a big big positive.
27 year old public servant moving to Canberra for a new job. Looking for a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. Easy going and fun to live with, but looking for my own space. Let me know if you have a room that will suit!
Hey! I'm currently searching for accommodation close to ANU as I am starting study the coming Semester. I'm tidy and pretty easy going. I like hanging out and being social although I also like my private time too and therefore am hoping to find room mates that are similar. If you think you have a room for me please message me!
Hey, looking to move into Canberra from outside yass, loved all over Australia for work and have travelled overseas. Clean up after myself and enjoy cooking, sometimes haha. Like having a few beers on a fri or Saturday afternoon watching sports or even head of for a few cheeky ones. Currently in an carpentry Apprentiship and loving it. Grew up on a farm outside yass. Easy going and love a laugh. If there is anything else don't hesitate to ask. Cheers
I'm a quiet, tidy housemate who will happily join you for a board game, a chat or a Netflix marathon. I am currently studying a Masters of teacher librarianship and working as a casual teacher. I do have a young cat (1 year old) who can be hilarious and I'm sure would enjoy sharing with other pets. I am returning to Canberra, having lived there in 2015, after teaching in Western NSW.
Hey! Here's a bit about me, I'm 18 years old, I work full time as a dental assistant in Manuka. I'm great to live with because I always clean up after myself and I'm respectful towards others. Im originally from Bredbo, NSW, so I pretty much go there every weekend. For fun I like to go out for drinks with friends. I currently have a boyfriend and I am looking for a place where id be able to have him over some nights as well as friends occasionally.
I've just accepted a job in Canberra (start is mid August - date TBC), but it's full time. I'm looking for 1-2 housemates to live with. I'm clean and tidy and respectful of the people I live with. I love music and play guitar (although I haven't done it as much lately). I'm also going to be looking for somewhere to start up martial arts again. I know a few people in Canberra already, but I'm looking to meet new people, and enjoy chats and a wine with my housemates where it suits everyone, but I am also more than happy to keep to myself at home. I'm pretty low key during the week. It's important I get along with those I live with, so I think we'd be able to gauge this when we meet :) Looking for a large room, preferably with en suite (and built- in robes/walk in!) If needed, I could bring a TV, navy 2 seater couch, rustic 2 door cabinet (current with TV on top), colourful coffee table, good quality kitchenware, new iron and ironing board. Also willing to sell/leave behind these things if there isn't space. I want to bring my queen bed, so hoping that even if a room is furnished, that part might be negotiable.. Shoot me a message if you think I might be the kind of housemate you're looking for :) I'm flexible on the move in date, as I'll temporarily be staying with my partner. Last day at my current job around the 4th of August, so could be available any time after that. :)
I'm James 27 working professional in the Kingston area. I'm quite not really into partying but don't mind the occasional drink with friends or dinners. I'm very laid back enjoy me time. I'm quite to live with. I use headphones for everything including watching unless watching with others. So no issues with noise. I'd prefer somewhere in Kingston or as close to the area as possible. Somewhat flexible with the move in date.
Hi! We are Jeanette and Pontus a couple from Sweden, 23y/o, looking for a place to stay from August to mid/end of November. We are coming down to Canberra because Pontus will be studying at the University in Bruce for a couple of months while I will be working as a professional chef. We are both calm, tidy and social, non smokers.
We are a very nice, friendly, clean, tidy, responsible and also respectful of other's privacy. We are in our mid twenties. Thang will be finishing his PhD in Engineering in September and soon to be a full time researcher. I will be a postgrad student at ANU for 2 years. We are moving from Cambridge, UK to Canberra in July and hope to find a room (en suit is ideal or share bathroom with another person is fine) to share in an established apartment/ flat/ house (maximum 2-3 bedrooms). Or maybe we would like to team up with 1 or 2 people to share a 2-3 bedrooms apartment. We love travelling and have lived and been to many countries around the world, therefore we have lots of experience in sharing different cultures and lifestyles. I personally love cooking and doing craft (DIY), reading. We like keeping fit so we often go out for a run or a walk, go to gym and Thang plays soccer. We would love to sometimes share meals with others and have good chat in our spare time. We also consider to share the place with people who are friendly but do respect other's privacy, do not party and maybe someone we can become friends to hang out with rather than just housemates :D. We usually keep and clean our place very tidy and clean and possibly make it a place called home. Thang is from Adelaide and I am from Melbourne. We are very reliable, trustworthy people and make sure we pay rent on time. If you are interested, please imessage me (as I am still in the UK until 11th July) or email me via my email address.
I'm a genuine and down-to-earth person who is easy to get along with and will respect everyone's privacy. I will be starting full-time studying at ANU in July. Love singing, hanging out, watching TV, working out, playing video game, or any other sports activity.
Hey there! Moving out of my sharehouse in Hackett in July and looking for a room with some cool people :) Reasons why I reckon I'm great to live with: 1) Love to have conversations about everything. Seriously, from history/political events to the pineapple pizza debate (pro-pineapple btw), just pick a topic and go. 2) Aires; this month I will find a new beginning, so that's something 3) Banter game strong 4) Own a BBQ and cook some mean burgers (American mother, it's in my blood); can lend it to my friend if there's no space as well, no dramas. 5) Lived overseas (HK and Taiwan) for a collective 10 years before moving back to Australia for uni 6) Play a little bit of bass so any drummers/musicians in the house holla at your boy and lets jam 7) Spag bog is also in the repertoire 8) I'm very tall (can reach high shelves on request) 9) Mediocre at all things video game related 10) Board game fanatic (if you play chess, I'll wanna play all the time) 11) Queenslander I've lived in a few sharehouses before so I'm pretty well versed on the general etiquette (clean/tidy), but also know that each place is different and will go in with an open mind, keen to make some friends out of it cause if you can't be friends with the people you live with then that's just sucky. Send me a message if you think we'd get along and we can have a chat over a coffee/wine! Flexible with move in dates past July 1st
I am a non-smoker who lives an active lifestyle while being very neat and organized. I always clean up after myself and I am quiet most of the times. Added to this, I always follow all the house rules and would only use the necessary areas such as the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Aside from going to work, I'm usually out on training either swimming, cycling, running or working out at the gym so I prefer to be located close to any of these facilities. Also, I would thrive well in a modern establishment with respectful, quiet and tidy housemates. Utilities/Facilities that I'm looking for: -Nearby gym & swimming pool -Indoor aircon & heating -Washing Machine and Dryer for clothes -Super fast internet that can play YouTube videos in HD without delay (I used to live at a flatshare where it takes 5-10 mins to open my e-mails and that was not fun at all) -Garage space (for my car & 2 bikes - 1 bike will be stored inside my bedroom since it will only be used for weekend trainings) -A small yard with garden hose to wash my bikes (optional) If you contact me, please provide photos to your listing as I am currently in Melbourne and would not be able to come over for viewing.
I'd like to think that I'm pretty easy to get along with. I like reading, writing, tabletop roleplaying, board games, movies ... Loads of stuff, really. I'll be cooking a decent amount too, so I'm definitely down for making an extra portion or two for whoever's staying with me. I grew up in a family of women, so if you need someone to carry your shopping bags for you on a Saturday afternoon, I'm your man. Also will take part in skincare routines daily.
