I'm looking for a share house in the inner south. I'm a non-smoker looking for a friendly house. I respect other people's personal space and always pull my weight when it comes to housework. I work full time in the public service. I don't have any pets but love animals, especially dogs!
I'm 23 years old and am about to finish studying my bachelor of social work and social planning. I'm moving to Canberra for a minimum of 6 months and will be looking at working in hospitality while I'm there so want something close to the civic as I don't currently drive. I'm generally quite neat and tidy, have a bubbly personality, live a (mostly) vegan lifestyle and am an avid beer enthusiast. I'd prefer to live with like-minded individuals (students, young professionals or hospo etc.) and am looking at a rough budget of $150-$175 (preferably furnished) a week.
CIT environment graduate looking for long-term accommodation. I like to keep my place clean and tidy, and I get along with just about anyone. I enjoy art, photography, gaming and the outdoors.
Hi, I'm Alex, a PhD student at ANU. My landlady has decided to renovate my current lovely apartment and so I need a new home! I'm quite chatty and outgoing, but work long hours at the uni and go away frequently. I'm very neat, don't smoke, and am mostly vegetarian. Trying to live as sustainably as possible, so am looking for like-minded housemate(s). I'm looking for a home, not a soulless dormitory, so it'd be great to find a place where we hang out and chat from time to time. If I sound like someone who would fit in to your house, drop me a line! Cheers.
Ayden & I are both active individuals who enjoy our down time when at home. When we're not training or traveling for competition (we're cyclists) we're usually watching netflix or down the road at a cafe. Other than cycling, I have just recently completed my undergraduate architecture degree in Sydney and plan on starting my masters degree in March at the University of Canberra. I love to cook & bake and appreciate a clean living environment. Ayden is super easy going & can get along with just about anyone (and he knows how to make a good cup of tea)! In between training he works with a catering company. We're looking for a new place as my lease in Sydney ends in November & Ayden's current Canberran flatmates are moving on in February. Ideally looking for a master bedroom with ensuite & also the capacity to store a few bikes. Minimum stay 6 months.
Hi I'm a nursing director and recently have a contract near canberra. Im very quiet. Working hours are usually 7am-7pm. I'm looking for a quiet furnished room preferably with air conditioning and bathroom. Need a secure park for my Harley. Need asap as my contract starts next week.
Hi! I am easy going, enjoy meeting new people and have a lovely 2 year old Beagle X staffy who loves attention and cuddles. I am active and work full time as a vet nurse. I am moving to Canberra for a new job opportunity and need a suitable place for my dog and I to live.
i am a 22years old student from China, pretty friendly and easy-going. i'm really into playing sports, like ping-pong,billards etc, even though i am not good at any of them,lol..... I will study language courses for almost 3 months in ANU at first.
Hi All, I am moving to Canberra from Brisbane in January 2018 to work as a full time teacher. My partner will be working on the Army base and will be living on base for 12 months. I am looking for a modern apartment or townhouse with space to park my car. Furnished or unfurnished - does not bother me (as long as I can bring my bed), I am happy to purchase the essentials. I will be spending most of my spare time playing sport. As I won't know anyone in Canberra I would love to live with someone who would like to hang out for dinners, drinks, shopping etc. I am very neat, today and love cooking dinners. I like to keep bathrooms immaculate and have a strong dislike for old bathrooms with shower curtains!
Heyya :) my name is Philipp and I am a German student. I grew up close to Frankfurt but moved south, close to the Swiss border for my studies. I spent my last seven months in Wellington as an exchange student and intern and I'm coming to Canberra in January for another 3-month full-time internship, so I'm looking for a place to stay for that time! :) I am fairly outgoing and really easy to live with, I've been told. :) I'm a rather sportive guy, my favourite sports being Tennis, Soccer, Basketball and a few others. I also really like to go for a beer or two at a pub ;) I would say about myself that I am quite tidy, although my Mom would probably disagree... I don't mind how many people I would be living with or how big the room/apartment is, like I said I'm quite easy-going, Anyway, if I sound like someone that you would like to live and have a yarn with, I would really love to hear from you and maybe we'll be flatmates soon! Cheers, Phil
I am moving down from Brisbane in mid-December to begin a new graduate position in the health care sector. I am a friendly, kind and tidy non-smoking housemate who is more than happy to sit and chat or share a meal (I love to cook!) but also respect another's privacy. I enjoy fitness and sport and am interested in exploring and getting to know Canberra.
Hi! I've recently moved to Canberra to start a role in the APS, and I'm looking for a place to move into by mid-December I'm very chilled out, enjoy sharing a meal or a beer with friends, but also appreciate quiet time at home. I'm looking forward to getting stuck into Canberra life including joining sports teams, whatever else I can do to build myself a social life in a new city! I'll be back and forth between Sydney every couple of weekends, as well as potentially for work. I'm tidy without being obsessive about it, and take really seriously how important it is for myself and others to feel comfortable at home. I'm looking for either an existing house, or perhaps starting a new sharehouse with other people. Let's meet!
Hi everyone! Herald here (aka Frankie), working part-time and studying, and I am currently looking for a share-house around Gungahlin area that is pet friendly as I am having to leave the current house that I have lived in for 3 years with many other university students and professionals throughout those years. I am really easy going and friendly and I believe in maintaining a friendly, peaceful, clean and respectful house environment. I love to chat but can respect when people need downtime. I also clean and tidy up after myself as well as participate in all shared household chores without a problem. Love listening to Metal (don't worry I use my headsets :) ) and all the geeky/pop culture stuff like computer hardwares, Marvel/DC universe, Movies, TV shows and Video games (PC). I have a 2 year old cat (Pixel), who is well trained and well behaved and stays indoors (mostly in my bedroom). My budget is $180 - $200 per week with utilities and internet. If you are looking for a housemate and don't mind my cat, please message me :)
I am a postgraduate student at ANU. Generally laid back, clean person. I like to cook, watch indie films, take photos, and do some yoga. I am generally happy and cheerful but would most likely spend most of the time studying once the school starts. Next semester I am planning to take master's thesis, so more studying for me. I am not a party person, but enjoy drinking every now and then.
Hi I am a recent graduate now working full time looking for a room in a sharehouse. I am clean, social and friendly. I love cooking and meeting new people. I am also a sporting person, I play ultimate frisbee competitively and love exploring the outdoors.
