Hey all, 2017 is the big move to Melbourne! Bit about me, I'm a socialable, easy-going, conscious individual, love to keep fit as well as a few casual drinks with mates, play tennis and enjoy most sports. Got my ambitions set on nutritional education and the environment so pretty passionate about themes like integrative health, detox & diet protocols and would like to get into urban farming. Got a pretty wide experience with my previous jobs. Like to live with some flexible guys or girls that share similar values - keep the home safe and like family. If you wanna live with a lad who gets right into his juicing then get in touch. Looking to get a sweet job in my niche around the CBD. Anyways, I'm a Darwin fella too finishing my final two units in my Health Promotion degree and looking to get situated in or around the CBD area. Roadtripping with my own car and will be available to suss out Melbourne from Tuesday 16th. Hope to meet with some great minds while I'm here 😊
I'm 25-year-old Finn who loves traveling the world but is now looking forward to settle down in Melbourne, for at least 3 months. I'll be doing an unpaid teaching practice in North Melbourne, so a room close by that area would be great! I'm a super easy-going and I get along with everyone. I always take others into consideration in all possible ways. I can talk and party a lot but also I need my own time which I usually spend by going to yoga or running. I'm clean and I wish my flatmates to be so as well. Looking forward to share some awesome time with you!! :)
We are looking for a place to call home where we can make some great new friends that we can grab a drink with or just chill out with at home. We are defiantly not looking to just rent a room and then never come out of it! Bailey (my partner) is 19 and is a furniture maker and has just scored his own workshop space in North Melbourne. He’s just a really chill dude who loves a good pun and appreciates a good ol dad joke. I’m 19 turning 20 this year and am a full-time uni student studying Film at SAE. I also work at a cafe on south wharf and I am a pretty short human being (4’11) We’ve been dating for over 3 and half years now so we are a really chilled couple both in creative industries and looking for a chilled place to live. We are are both clean and respectable and just keen to meet some more people and have a roof over our head
I'm a profesional Ballet dancer for Victorian State Ballet, at the same time going to study Business. I'm 23 years old from Spain. I'm an easy going person like to share moments with my flatmates, during the week I'm more quiet, like to grab few drinks with friends on a terrace.
Hey! I'm a relaxed 20 y/o guy looking for a place to share with housemates who like to chill and have a drink every now and again but also like personal space. I'm working part time at the moment, and when I'm not I'm usually out with friends as much as possible so you'll have the place to yourself! Looking to after the 10th of Feb when I'm back from overseas
Hi everybody. I'm a 24 year-old part-time student and wine-selling person. I'm currently doing my Masters in Social Policy at Melbourne Uni. I've lived in sharehouses in Carlton and Fitzroy North in the past and want to live somewhere northside again. I'm keen on basically anywhere north of the city but south of Bell St. Budget is ~$170/week max and on-street parking and a nearby train or tram are musts. I'd be most interested in living with other people around my own age. I'm house trained and am not a dickhead. I have a sick vinyl collection and I play guitar in a joke band in my spare time so it would be cool to live with other people who were musically-inclined.
Hi, I am Kien, 22. I am an Asian guys with awesome characteristic. Friendly, hard-working and tidy. I am also non-smoking and non-drinking.
I'm from Vietnam. A 20 year old Marketing student at RMIT who will finish his last year in Melbourne as an exchange student. An easy going, open minded and friendly ambivert who has a huge passion for meeting new people and setting foot in new lands. I'm also neat and enjoy fitness, swimming and the beach. Every now and then I give the dance floor my 200%.
Hi, I'm Marti, a recent graduate moving to Melbourne from Sydney to start full-time work in HR. I'm very friendly and easy going. I enjoy being social and going out but I also like to stay in and binge watch TV shows on Netflix. I eat all kinds of food and am keen to visit as many restaurants and bars as I can. I love art and culture and I'm interested in seeing what Melbourne has to offer Feel free to send me a message :)
Hi folks :) I'm Avi, a 26 year old student and bartender. I'm friendly, get along with just about anyone, plenty of sharehouse experience, and always up to meet new people. Don't mind having a coupla on the weekend, or going to discover new spots in this wonderful city, but equally happy to kick back at home as well. Reading, tv shows, riding my bike, good conversations, food, discovering new places, all get thumbs up.
I am a full-time Registered Nurse so I can pay my rent on time. I am a laid back person, easygoing, friendly, and best of all, respectful of other's personal space. I am into fitness and music production as a hobby hence I am a very sociable person.
Hi! I'm Norah (SIQI) and I'm looking to house share. I'm 23yr old, doing my Master at Melbourne uni. A bit about me: I'm friendly, clean and tidy, respectful, and love a good laugh.I'd like to pay my rent on time and contribute to house bills, I'm not that person who is difficult about trifle, and I'd like to respect my housemates' habits and ideas. I won't mind if there will be pets in the house because I really like dogs or cats. I’m generally pretty social and often out catching up with friends, but also like my own time to relax. In my spare time, I like to listen to music, cook, go jogging or gym, read about stuff, or spoil myself with movies or concerts. Be great to find housemates (better to be students or professionals )that are tidy and independent, and maybe also interested in getting out and about, traveling somewhere, enjoying a chat over brunch or wine occasionally. Ideally looking for a place with rent up to $230, looking to move in around the 16th January.(before 20th January) I hope to hear from you. Cheers.
Hey guys, my names Jules, I'm from Perth WA and been in Melbourne for around 2 years now. I work in the CBD 9-5, enjoy photography, meeting new people and love street food and beers! I can cook almost anything in a pan and always clean up after myself, I am still saving up for a another big trip to Asia but until then I'm looking for a place near the CBD in a share house with people I can hang out and have a laugh with. I want to secure a private, furnished room long term, so if this fits let me know so we can meet up. Thanks
Hi, I am moving to Melb to further my company, in the drone technology area. I'm 29, male, easy going, house trained, I have owned my own home for 10 years. I clean, i have above average cooking abilities. I will likely be spending most of my time out, but I am pretty sociable :) I will be working a lot, whether it be casual work to supplement the bills or from a laptop. I love cooking, reading, netflix and games. Looking for a place i can somewhat afford as close as possible to our offices in Docklands. Plenty of fun times to be had, and it is likely i will be travelling a fair bit as well. Always prompt with rent, and i keep clean. ** Looking for a place that is walking/bike ride distance from docklands **

I've been a ballet dancer, served in the military for 2 years and am currently an architect. Housekeeping and cleanliness comes as a second nature due to my background, along with a respect of personal privacy and space. If this sounds like someone you'd like to share a place with, do drop me a message! Cheers!
Hi! Moved to Melbourne last year from Byron Bay and currently living in Ascot Vale, but looking for a new place to call home. I'm working two part-time jobs, one in hospitality and the other at a record label based in Byron Bay. I enjoy health and fitness, music, video games, cooking, TV shows, reading and socializing. I cherish my alone time but I'm often up for social events like evening drinks or breakfasts, lunches, etc. I love to chat and casually hang out but I'll always respect people's space and privacy. I would describe myself as clean and tidy but not OCD, friendly and fun but respectful, easy going and adventurous but hard working and focused. Rent and bills paid on time every time and moving date is very flexible. Thanks, Reuben.
I clean! I have average cooking ability. Generally up for fun activities and adventures. Respectful of space and privacy. Probably the greatest thing to happen to you (please help me find a room!). Bonus if you have a dog.
Watcher of movies. Player of piano. Tidy. Capable cook. I'm from Perth moving over to study at the University of Melbourne, so I would like somewhere within range of uni. I'll be doing full-time postgrad, which means a) I'm on a student budget, and conservative with bills etc. b) Although I'm generally friendly, I will probably have my head in a book a lot of the time and would like somewhere quiet. But I definitely enjoy the occasional night out, night in, or weekend activity - particularly movies, games, or outdoor things like hiking.
Hi, my name is Chirag. I am extremely friendly and have lived with many nationalities prior! My current and prior flat mates can vouch for me and will be my referees! I am very social and go out a lot for events and stuff around Melbourne. I also love to swim, ride my bicycle and explore Melbourne and rest - well you will have to chat with me in person - yeah? :) While at home I enjoy watching movies, like to cook, having a chat over meal/drink with flat mates, have my own space to relax and give them their - in short, I am really cool ;) :).... A bit about myself; I work in Software Sales for a IT company in South Yarra. I moved back in early 2015 from overseas after 4 years of living and working and glad to be back in the most livable city in the world - Melbourne!! I am an Australian Citizen and have lived in Melbourne for 10 years (2000- 2010) - I worked at ANZ Bank in various departments for 7 years! Went to study full time for my Masters at Melbourne Uni, graduated and found a job overseas and hence the overseas living and working :)... I would like to live with matured flatmate/s who are "neat & clean" and would take responsibility of themselves and the house - I do not mean clean freak :). I am down to earth and easy to get along with. Would also be great to have chat over a drink, eat together etc. at times. - instead of being a person living in the next room : ). I am most flexible and mindful of others and their privacy. Would be great to meet in person and have a chat please, thank you. I love to cook and buying fresh from the markets and cooking from scratch - it's my thing. Like a glass of red with a nice meal and specially in the winters, to keep myself a bit warm :). I have my own stuff for the room, bed, tall boy and side table etc. and my espresso coffee machine, couple of pans and stuff for kitchen nothing major though and no other furniture, thank you.
An Aussie and a Swede have moved to Melbourne to explore the culture of AFL fanatics and brunch connoisseurs! We met in Canada whilst living abroad and it's been one big adventure, roaming multiple countries and hunting long-lasting memories along the way. Located in Sydney over the last 5 months or so (don't worry, we've seen the light). We both have a degree and are looking for work in our fields. We enjoy exercising (so that we can eat everything) and exploring new ideas. Not massive on the party scene anymore and would much rather a casual drink in a quieter area
Hi future roomate :) We are two easy going guys, in couple, coming in Melbourne in January. We stay here for 2 months (at least), and we are looking for an apartment in Melbourne CBD or close to, starting from Jan 20th. John is the great housekeeper, and Dryss the amazing vegetarian cooker :) Both energic, sympathic, and talkative. We are looking for quiet roomates, absolutely non smoker inside the apartement. We really pay attention on bills, and didn't any problems in other rent about that (even if we don't find job : Dryss continues to earn money with his french job). We will be glad to meet you, with a drink, to discuss about a serious rent :) See you !
Hey, I'm Anna and am looking for a room to rent while studying at the University of Melbourne. I study business and law and currently work part time at a home organization store (so I know how to keep my space tidy). I like to drink coffee, pet stranger's dogs, go on adventures, and occasionally go out with friends or have a few friends over for a drink. However I am also happy to stay at home and read or watch a movie. I have only had female housemates in the past but would be happy to mix it up! I am respectful of common areas and can give others their space when they need it however I would like to find housemates that enjoy hanging out from time to time and get along well. I am American and will be moving to Melbourne from Seattle so it would be a lot easier if there was at least a bed in the room but if its the right fit I'm willing to figure out the furnishing for myself. The earliest I am available for inspections is February 8th, but I would be able to move in right away afterwards. Please let me know if you have any questions!
I'm an exchange student from Copenhagen (Denmark) looking for a place to stay. I'm out-going, social and I'm always in a very good mood. My hobbies are many; I am very interested in life sciences, I like music, I like computer and board games. In Copenhagen I used to do Parkour, and would love to find similar activity in Melbourne. I've never been to Australia before, and it'd also be cool to have someone show me around in Melbourne, tell me about cool stuff to see in Australia and/or to explore the city with.
A full time uni student attending RMIT Fashion school in Brunswick, preferably looking for something long term (6 months - 1 year). I am a laid back and easy going guy with loads of experience living in share houses. I have good social skills and will comfortably get along with almost everyone. Do like to go out from time to time but not huge on partying and much rather go to a pub for a drink or 2. Very clean and well kept when it comes to sharing kitchen and toilet. Will respect the privacy of other housemates and expect the same in return :) Move in date would be the start of February 2017.
My name is Taufan and I am a 22 year old working professional from New Zealand that is seeking a room in or near the CBD, I am working in docklands but anything would be great right now! Hi! I'll arrive in Melbourne on February 12th to begin my master studies in Construction Management at the University of Melbourne. I'm 27 yo & have lived abroad for the past 7 years (mostly in shared houses, so I know well how to live with roomies in peace & enjoy it.;)). I'm clean, tidy, laid back, friendly & my friends say funny too :D. In my free time I'd love to cook (gotta be careful to not eat your fingers :P), share a beer or two (wine is even better), watch movies, go for a walk or hike! I'm ideally looking for a private room in an existing shared house but also willing & excited to team-up with other cool, easy-going people looking for a place to call home. :)
Hi guys ! Me and my friend Amandine are looking for a twin room in a lovely flat, preferably in CBD or St-Kilda. Hello, I'm an international student from Nairobi, Kenya. I am going to move to Melbourne to student a Bachelor in Design (Architecture) as a first year at University of Melbourne. I am easy going, quiet (at first) and tidy - I don't mind sharing out the responsibilities in a shared house. I enjoy some nights out, or days out, and sometimes like to stay in. I enjoy having a laugh and respect everyone's privacy. I would like to live with other students (preferably first year), and would also like to live in an ensuite room. Thank you.
Hi, I'm a full-time philosophy student from Tasmania, relocating to Melbourne this year. I've lived in a couple of share houses over the past few years, and I am a reliable and considerate roommate. My interests are fairly lowkey (my studies, other reading, hiking and running), so I value a clean, quiet, and amicable home environment. Always up for a good conversation or a trip for fresh veg.
Hi there, My name is Wen Hui. Previously I worked at big 4 as a tax specialist and I will be studying master of accounting in Uni Melb on Feb 2017. My hobbies are travel and cooking. While I was a student at university, I was on two exchange programs to study at Vienna (so I know a little bit German) and Stockholm (one semester each) and pretty much explored most of the countries in Europe. After graduating, I backpacked to South East Asia for few months. I'd describe my personality as very open minded, extravert (can be introvert at times), and interesting. While the time I don't travel, I go to cafes, reading or doing my work. I also like to hit the bars and just to chill on weekends. Lastly, as I got international graduate merit scholarship, I guess I will be quite studious to secure the entitlement. Thus, I will need my personal space. If you think we might get along with each other, please contact me and we can find place to stay together :)

I'll be in Melbourne on a working holiday visa starting towards the end of February, but I'm looking to establish a settled life for the time I'll be there (I'm shooting for around 6 months at the moment). I'm from the US, and have been working in the hospitality/tourism industry in California and Colorado since I graduated from university a few years ago. I'm an avid reader and like to run, hike, and generally be active, but I also love a good Netflix binge. Brunch is my favorite past time. I'm ideally looking for a furnished room in a friendly flat, with people who like to hangout together but also respect personal time - I'm sociable but do like to have time to myself sometimes. I like to cook and bake, so as my flatmate(s), expect treats! I'm a generally tidy person, and have no qualms about pitching in to clean. I'm not a huge party person but do enjoy having friends over or going out for dinner and drinks. I plan on spending my weekends exploring and getting to know Melbourne. If you'd like more info, please message me!
Future flatmate/s! I’m Sam: a laid-back, awkwardly funny, kind and respectful young professional from Brisbane, Queensland. I have recently scored a dream job in your great city of Melbourne and will be re-locating at the end of January. For work, I am Merchandise/Marketing professional in retail and specifically pet care. It’s a little complicated to explain so I won’t bore you with the details (for now). I love living an active routine filled with things such as touch footy, gym and powerlifting during the week; to remind me that life isn’t all about work. For fun on the weekends, I enjoy catching up with mates, trying and seeing new things and going to sporting events. To chill, playing guitar is my thing – and I cannot say no to the odd Netflix session and a few whiskeys! I am seeking a medium-large sized room (preferably furnished) and access to parking so I can settle in quickly. I am looking for housemates who respect privacy and cleanliness, but who are also relaxed and aren’t shy of a laugh and a beer/wine every so often, to catch up on life’s dramas! I look forward to meeting you somewhere down the line… Cheers, Sam :)
Hi everyone! We are an easy-going, Mexican couple, moving to Melbourne to study for 2 years (In CBD and Hawthorn) and work in part-time jobs. We also enjoy the casual board-games and a good volleyball match. We're tidy, honest and trustworthy people and very respectful of others and their privacy. Needless to say, we're more than excited for this new stage in our lives!
We're both extremely friendly and outgoing people! Love to make new friends, hard-working, uni students. We love having our down time with friends having some drinks or even just having a quiet one in. We're also very neat and organised people and like to keep things clean! NOTE: - Looking for a place preferably in CBD/Southbank area - MAXIMUM $300pw (per couple) with bills included if possible - PLEASE only couples rooms !!! - Preferably move in between February 16th - February 25th but may be negotiable.
HI there! My husband and I are moving to Melbourne from Texas, USA on 24 January and are looking for a furnished apartment/share. I currently work in architecture designing schools and will be researching with the University of Melbourne for the year. My husband will look for work and/or travel around the country. We are avid travelers (Australia will be continent #7!) who love good food and good coffee - both of which Melbourne is known for! We have both lived in shared houses in the past and love meeting new people. We are flexible with term and would like to stay in one place at least 3 months up to 11 months or a year. We prefer a private bathroom and keep our rent and bills to less than $300pw
Hello guys and girls, Maybe this sounds odd, but I am homeless and I am looking for a place to stay =). My name is Gerhard and I am from Germany. I will start my study at the RMIT in Melbourne on the 27th February 2017. I will arrive already on the 17th February, to have some time to check out the city. In this time, I will be looking for a cool place to stay. For the first two weeks, I will be staying in the "Greenhouse Backpacker Hostel" in Melbourne. Currently I am studying "Systems Engineering and Management" to get my master’s degree at the university of applied sciences in Ulm. This is my last semester, so I decided to go to the nicest city on earth to get to know the Australian people and their culture =). At the RMIT in Melbourne I will take the course “Master of Engineering (International Automotive Engineering)”. During my studies I always lived in flat shared households. If my current flatmates would describe me, they’d say, that I’m entertaining, sporty, well organized and uncomplicated. I like to go out in clubs or bars with my friends and flatmates. I also like to stay at home and have some beer in the kitchen as well. My hobbies are mountain biking, jogging, snowboarding and climbing. I heard, that Melbourne is a paradise to go jogging =), so I am really excited! I think my flatmates describe me as a well organised person, because I like to have a clean and tidy room. In my free time. I also like to chill and hang out in my room on my own. I think that this is important when living together with other people. You will not get on each other’s nerves =). Are you looking for a new flatmate? Then send me a message, so we can get to know each other better. Best wishes Gerhard
Looking to start a new sharehouse teamup! I'm an RMIT Software Engineering student about to commence a full-time paid internship in the CBD. I really love the idea of living walking distance to work, and all the other great things the city holds. I'm a pretty chill guy who enjoys a balance of working hard during the week while still unwinding with a drink or two on the weekend. I definitely want to be living with people of similar age but that's my only strict preference. Apart from that, you do you. I think it's important to hang out and maintain a positive relationship with housemates while also highly respecting their boundaries and personal space. I'd like to live with people that share this opinion. I love video games and nerdy stuff but also enjoy trying out new things and experiences. My move in date is pretty flexible, but preferably sooner rather than later. If you're interested in being part of a teamup then hit me up!
I am a full-time student studying architecture design currently in RMIT as well as having my part-time job. I keep tidy and clean in my space as well as cleaning public area sometimes. I am not after party, smoking and drug. I enjoy having a night in with take out and a DVD, but also enjoy checking out restaurants and bars. I like to live in a clean and tidy home and am looking for people who agree. I am considerable and kind and would like to make new friends and share each other stories and happy time. I took an apartment by myself and manage it, and I lived with more than 6 people in 2 years. Therefore, I think I really know how to get along with my new roommates. I hope my room is furnished and prefer to live with males in house or town house which is less than 3 people, and fast speed internet, if there is a garden or yard, it would be perfect. Nor sharing room. I can move in February.
I am a Sydney based actor and writer. I am moving to Melbourne to audition and build my career and study part time. I am very friendly and respectful of others, and also inclined to a few glasses of wine and good conversation. I am bubbly and easy to get along with but will also give you your space if need be. Hoping to be moving down late January / early February and would love to find some chill people to live with. Would love to have a beer with you!
Hi, I'm Indy I'm going to be doing a Diploma of Music Theatre at Ministry Of Dance so I'm looking for somewhere to stay while doing it :) I LOVE musicals and fitness and I'm energetic sometimes but I also love to relax and watch movies. I'm respectful of other peoples space and opinions and I'm also a tidy person. I'm looking to move into a house/apartment which isn't too far from the dance school and look forward to meeting you
HELLO! I am a 20 year old vego naturopathy student that has lived in sunny Perth since age 5! I made the big move back to Melbourne in Jan '17 after years of telling people 'this is definitely the year I'm moving back.' I'm work full time at Origin Energy in the city and work weekends at Tall Timber in Prahran! (I'm a busy bee). I love my job and am organised financially. I am clean and tidy, and have minor OCD issues about dirty kitchens, so if you need someone that will clean up after themselves in all areas, I'm your gal. I enjoy walking, coffee, eating lots of delicious home cooked food and hanging out with friends (that hopefully I will acquire in the first few months of moving). I am a food blogger so if we go out for any meal you've got to be cool with me taking some aesthetically pleasing photos and making sure we sit at a table with the best lighting ;). I am interested in a private room, preferably in a flat or townhouse but I'm super flexible with whatever works. Looking for something relatively close to the city, but again, flexible with this. I also love animals and children and do heaps of babysitting. Thanks for reading a bit about me!! Ruby
