We are a very friendly, quiet American couple who are neat and tidy and like to keep our door open during the day. We do not smoke and don't really drink unless it is offered. We like to get out of the house as much as we can if we are not working. One of us is working but both looking for full time jobs so that we can save more and keep traveling! We are looking for something asap so don't hesitate to send us a message!
I'm a pretty chilled guy, love a good chat at all times but I'm also known to enjoy my alone time. Give me a beer though and I'll talk your ear off! I'm always keeping pretty active with the Gym and sports. If im not working, gyming or sleeping im usually watching a movie of some sort (I see it as study since i'm a working Actor) Mostly looking for Melbourne and the burbs around it, I will go over $150 a week for a sick good house though!
3 friends; sociable, friendly, reliable. Looking for a place to rent together. Happy to team up with others but ideally maximum 4 people in total.
Im Valeriya. I came to Melbourne for an exchange semester at the VU .I just love studying abroad (Originally I'm from Siberia, but moved to Germany also for studying). Im looking for a room from Middle of March to the end of June/July. Short about me: I am a person who doesn’t stay at home. I like always being on the move, exploring the city, travelling, going to the gym, combining study and work. I don’t have any pernicious habits; I’m clean and tidy and I have an experience living in a shared apartment. ☺ Thank you! x
Hi I'm Victoria from Argentina, I´m thirty years old and I'm a student. I'm cheerful, communicative and respectful. Will be living in Melbourne for the next 8 months. I'm looking for a private room in a share house.
Hi I am looking for a sharehouse within or not too far from the CBD. I am also open to the idea of house hunting together with the right person. There are a couple of reasonable apartments around Brunswick West area for no more than $190pw. I just need someone to team up with. I'm a full time fashion student in the city. Love to have a good time, laugh, music, photography and so on. I'm clean, neat, tidy and very respectable of others Feel free to ask any questions.
I am working full time in Windsor with guaranteed employment and I am hoping to find somewhere to stay nearby or potentially slightly more towards the North Eastern Suburbs. I've spent the last 5 years living with one of my friends who has recently moved out to begin studying music. I spend most weekends away from home and play D and D every Sunday and I live largely on microwave meals for convenience and diet, not to say that I can’t cook but my ex-housemate was a bodybuilder and we had different diets. I'm an easy going person who spends a fair amount of time on my computer, surprisingly not playing many games anymore. Either way I'm happy to meet up and have a look whenever you’re available.
Hello! We are an active and outdoorsy couple looking for a home during our working/holiday stay in Melbourne. We moved from Colorado USA where we rock climbed and snowboarded quite often. Now we are looking for our next hobby to enjoy the outdoors in Australia! We are easy roomies keeping it clean and being respectful for sure. The biggest things we are looking for are fun roomies who want to share time together even if its just beers on the porch. We certainly like our reading times as well. Public transport biking and access to fun neighborhoods is essential! Cant wait to meet everyone! Oli and J
Hi, my name is Eddie. I am currently studying Marketing and International Relations at Monash University, this is my last year. I am clean and tidy, like to eat healthy, gym and play sports. Quite sociable and enjoy travelling and meeting different people and love animals. I also like some space and time to myself. I prefer reading over television, and prefer intelligent conversation over gossip. Previously served in the Australian Army, overseas operation was in East Timor. Work part-time I look forward to hearing from you. Warm Regards, Eddie
Originally from Venezuela, I moved to Melbourne 5 years ago. Melbourne has become my new home. I am 36 years old, electrical engineer. I work in the CBD at the moment. I like to ride my bicycle to commute to work. I like outdoor activities, at the moment golf is my favourite one, but I am always open to try new ones. I am not a netflix addict, but I do like movies, and documentaries. I like to read literature, Roberto Bolano by far is my favourite author. I am a big fan of architecture, and I am trying to get into sustainable design, from the electrical point of view. I am an easy going person, respectful, transparent, tidy, who is looking a new home.
Girl geek / tech freak by day, occasional DJ by night. I am finding my independence in creative technical opportunities whist streaming through the many sights and cafes Melbourne has to offer. I am looking for chill people to live with who like pets and music, look after themselves and have a life outside of the house but also like to chill and share a drink. I don't smoke but I don't mind if you do, not fussed on what others eat or sexuality as its all relative, each to their own. Mutual respect is the way forward. Flexible with move dates, ideally early to mid March. Ideally looking for somewhere animal friendly where the people have a pet as I dont have any of my own and it keeps the good vibes going. Not a dealbreaker though. If you have a garden, that would be awesome. Again, not a deal breaker though. I am open to a sublet although 4- 6 months minimum is preferred.
I'm a Canadian teacher here on a working holiday visa. I keep a clean apartment, i love to socialize, and I enjoy a few beers on the weekend. I play ice hockey and head down to torquay to surf on most weekends and I work full time during the week. My lease is up on April 3. Any questions just feel free to ask!
Just moving to Melbourne for work from New Zealand. Working between two Offices - Glen Waverley and Richmond. Prefer a furnished room as have moved with no furniture! Would prefer own bathroom but not essential. Work Mon-Fri 9-5 work, weekends evening will either be quiet ones in, or going out and exploring this new city I am in.
We are a Chilean couple traveling to Melbourne with a working holiday visa, and we are looking for a quiet place to live in. Both of us are very clean and tidy, as well as polite, respectful, calm and easygoing. We are non-smokers.
Hi. My name is Bowen. Currently studying architecture at the University of Melbourne. Uni hours are fairly standard with a few late nights during due dates. With my free time, i prefer to read, game and exercise. I call myself a good cook and always keeps the kitchen tidy. I can be quiet but would love to have a friendly conversation with my roommate time to time. Looking forward to your reply.

Hello there future housemate(s), I’m Sanjit, a 22-year-old student who’s looking to move to Melbourne from Brisbane in order to pursue my Master’s degree in Food science at the University of Melbourne. I’m very reliable with rent and other bills (can provide references of previous housemates). I’ve lived in many share houses before so I know the drill! I’m hygienic, clean and tidy! I’m very chilled out and laid-back (so much so that I’m almost horizontal) and hope to find similar easy going and open minded housemates. Looking to rent a place for a minimum of 4-6 months and can extend it if it works out fine. I’m a very sociable person, love going out for food, drinks, movies and would love to find a chilled out place to call home. I also respect everyone’s privacy and will not be constantly pestering you haha. Since I’ll be starting with my Master’s degree, I’ll be pretty busy during the weekdays at Uni but I’m always keen to chill on the weekends. I love watching and playing soccer! (GO Manchester united!) I enjoy scuba diving, longboarding and am now looking into indoor/outdoor rock climbing. Also enthusiastic about patting dogs and watching funny dog compilation videos. I’m an avid music listener! Love rap, hip hop (artists such as Kendrick lamar, Eminem, 2pac, Biggie, The underachievers, Joey badass, J cole etc), classic rock (Pink Floyd, Guns n roses, Aerosmith, The beatles, Jefferson airplane, Creedence Clearwater revival, The rolling stones, Eric Clapton, Queen etc), Electronic (Flume, Nicholas jaar, Odesza, Pretty lights, Eric prydz, Bassnectar etc) and sometimes when I’m feeling classy, I’ll hit up some Wolfgang Mozart (what a ridiculously cool name) or Bach. So if you love music, I’m sure we will get along!! Also, I have a pair of headphones so you don’t have to worry about me blasting loud music. Also down to binge watch movies and tv shows. So, if you think we’d get along and would like to team up or you have a room available in your house, hit me up! I’m currently travelling overseas and will be arriving in Melbourne around the 25th of February. Send me a message if you're interested. Hope to hear from you soon :)

I'm social and great at meeting new people. I'm keen for quiet nights in or group nights out, I've lived in a shared house for the last 5 years so I know whats the go when it comes to everyone getting along and pulling there weight. Ideally looking for my own room in a shared house but will consider other options, and I've decided to settle Melbourne as its close to a lot of the friends I've made when they visited the UK. Hey I'm Dan, 22, full time employed in financial services, pretty extraverted. I'm relatively new to Melbourne and looking to move near the CBD. Would love to find one or more cool housmates. I like Great food, beer, wine & whisky and I'm told I'm excellent company to binge watch nextflix and drink cheap wine with. If your a fan of Doctor Who, Game of Thrones or South Park that's already a great start. I'm pretty chilled out, like to keep a clean place. I don't have any gender or cultural preferences on who I live with, as long as your friendly and good company I'm we will get along great. Also somewhere with a car park would be great.
I'm studying fashion and work in medical auditing and coordinating. Im a very easy-going person and very sociable. Im very neat and tidy. I am also very respectful of other people's space and expectations. Furthermore, I do not cook so therefore there will hardly be any mess in the kitchen. I enjoy a wine during the nights to unwind after a long day, or a glass of scotch/whiskey neat to ease some stress. I also enjoy the occasional beer during hot days and Sunday seshs. I work the same amount of heading out and catching up with friends for brunches or for drinks. I occasionally smoke with company. Im definitely a caring and considerate housemate, and I believe I will a great addition to your household :)
Hello my name is Enya! ((I'm the girl on the right)) I'm currently living in a remote community in northern Queensland and I'm hoping to relocate into the city within the next couple of months. I'm recently graduated high school and I'm very keen to move out of home and into a share-house environment. I'm a very cruisy, laid back gal, keen to be welcomed into a friendly and safe environment. I'm a hard worker and I'm very tidy when it comes to shared spaces as I take a lot of pride in my living environments. The idea of experiencing new and different personalities through share housing is something that I'm really excited for; I would love to share and experience as many different social situations and cultures as possible!!!
Hiya I'm a gal from England currently on exchange for a year studying at Monash university. I've been here for one semester where I stayed at halls but am looking to move into the city to be closer to shops and bars. I'm really sociable and love going out for drinks and meals but my days will mostly be spent at uni and studying. I'm clean and am more then happy to share cleaning responsibilities around the place :)
I consider myself to be a peaceful, friendly individual with an open mind. I enjoy spontaneous adventures, treks, Music festivals, fitness/MMA. I'm someone who enjoys the company of others and enjoys time by myself equally. I tend to keep things tidy as I have mild ocd. Un-winding with a drink/smoke or some meditation is something I tend to engage in. Im from Bombay, India and currently doing my Masters in Monash. Will be spending most of my time studying or working part-time. Looking forward to meet my new flatmates.
I'm a a full-time student studying Communication Design and working part time in the city for a call centre. I'm 21 years old. I grew up in a rural area and my interests include watching movies, painting, drawing, eating and experimenting with food (I now know how to make dumplings). I am friendly and sociable, and enjoy having people over for quiet drinks, food nights, and sleepovers. I'm going to be either working or at uni most of the week. I'm up for almost anything, and you can rely on me to be respectful, caring, contribute to the household, and be around to have some fun and a laugh if need be.
Hi, I'm Jing. I'm looking for a place (a private room or a studio) to stay before March 17th. I will live with my boyfriend Chris (from march 17th for two months) when he visits Melbourne. So we want to find a place suits couples. I come from Mainland China originally and have lived in Thailand for 3-4 years. I have a part time job in Melbourne and I study a program here. I can move in anytime between Feb 25th to March 16th. I'm an easy-going and open-minded girl. And I like to make my place clean and cozy. Most of time I will be outside working or explore the city or just reading in my our room. I'm a professional translator, so we can communicate easily. My partner Chris is a computer engineer from America. He lived in Thailand for many years and can speak good Thai. He is very quite and tidy too. Both of us neither drunk or smoke. He will be exploring Melbourne and coding in our room most of the time. If you are looking for a quiet, tidy and respectful couple to stay in your place , you may want to contact me right now:) Because my main job is located in CBD, so prefer to find a pace very close to CBD or a place with super easy access to public transportation with 30 minutes maximum travel to CBD. Best Jing
Hello! We are an international couple (American and Kiwi) looking for a room in a flat of fun loving, friendly, and respectful people. We've been living in Melbourne for a little while now, but are looking to move somewhere more affordable and maybe a little more fun. We don't smoke, we do enjoy a beer or three every now and then, and we're always out and about, seeing what this amazing city has to offer. We are looking to make the most of the rest of our time in Melbourne!

Are you in need of a housemate? A friend? Maybe just some random who will offer to make you tea each night? Hi, you might remember me from, 'has Cameron got his wallet?' 'Where's his phone?' 'Yep, he missed his flight again.' ... I cook the worlds best spag bol. theres no joke there. I like beer, wine and tea -but never at once. Im clean and dream of a minialist lifestyle, but then, Im always fighting the inner voice of "you can't throw that out. Mum gave you this ugly and utterly useless ornamental pot with no function from Vietnam and one day she might come by -even though she hasn't in two years- and know that its gone!" I work and study like most average joes. Easy going, out going, clean. (Mum was also the type who made us meticulously scrub the toilets before the cleaner came.. rubber gloves and all) ..Please don't let me become my mother. My sublets ending and looking for a permanent home north of the river, collingwood, fitzroy, carlton, clifton hill even richmond ect ect. 170-230p/w. I'd stay south for the right house down here. House or terrace though, not so keen on an apartment. But who knows
G'day! I'm Olly, halfway through my bachelor in Architecture. Just moved down from Brisbane looking for cheap rent haha, I'm pretty social/easy-going. I consider myself pretty tidy (from what others have said) and enjoy the occasional old trash talking. I don't expect to be home all the time; during the week I'll be working/studying and enjoy surfing so expect to be pretty busy on the weekends too!
I'm an 18 year old female who will be starting my first year of Nursing at RMIT city campus. This is my first time moving out but don't be put off! The reason why I'm moving out of home is because my guardians are moving overseas. I currently have a job so I'm financially stable. I'm a very independent, mature and easy-going person. I'm respectful as well as clean and organised. I do have a boyfriend so I would need you to be okay with him coming over quite often! There's so much more about me but I'll leave it at that!
Hello, My name is Sandhya. You can call me Sandy. I am 23, moving to Melbourne in March on a work holiday of sorts. I am a Mechanical Engineer by profession and I grew up within India, England and Malaysia. When I am not working I am generally learning a new programming language, working on my music (singing) or reading a book. I cook decent pasta and Indian food but only when I am in the mood for it. And I tend to keep my room, kitchen (if i do cook) and bathrooms clean.
Hello, I will be moving to Melbourne from New Jersey USA to spend a semester abroad at Victoria University. I am hopeful that a flat will be the better option for me instead of Uni Accomodations and would like to find others that think likewise. I am 23, female and originally from Brazil. I speak portuguese spanish english fluently and study marketing communications (PR). I wouldn't mind having male, female or any other identifiable gender or sexual orientation as roommates. My biggest concern about living in a flat instead of uni living is that I wont make friends and enjoy myself so I would love to find people that are fun spirited, like to travel, exercise, and party. I am currently seeking a furnished room for myself (house/apt/townhouse) close to Victoria University in Footscray or West Melbourne area.
Hi guys, I am King. I am 32 years old. I have over 10 years to work. Now I back to university to study master. I am friendly, clean, and communicate well person. I am looking for the room in share house. Hopefully see you soon. Thank you Friendly, Clean, Communicate well
G'day! My name is Hans, and I'm 21 year-old viking from Denmark who's very interested in finding a place. I've been having fun in Melbourne for about 3 months now and I'm loving it here! I work as a waiter/bartender at Riverland Bar. I'm very open to meeting new people and love going out to see awesome stuff, everything from hiking and biking to concerts or festivals. Additionally, i speak fluent banter. I've lived abroad in Singapore for 8 months and stayed in hostels around Asia for another 9 months, so I definitely know the importance of respecting privacy and cleanliness. These trips abroad have made me quite mature for my age as well. Anyway, I'd love to meet up for a chat or go for an inspection, i'm sure it'll be great! See you soon Hans
Hi everyone, I'm Shelly :) I'm a 25 year old backpacker from England who really needs somewhere to live. I'm friendly and really chilled. I love to have a drink and socialise, but also could just lock myself in my room and watch an entire series on Netflix in one day, oops. I clean up after myself and am fairly tidy, can't stand house arguments about the washing up haha. I can cook a mean spag bol, but apart from that I'm really not much of a chef so don't expect gourmet meals to be prepared from me, more like chicken nuggets & chips. Just looking for some easy going housemates that I can enjoy my time in Australia living with :)
My name is Michael, I am a 23 year old coffee professional from Perth and moving to Melbourne at the beginning of March. I am starting a job as a coffee trainer for an awesome company in Collingwood and will be working 5-6 days per week. I enjoy coming home to relax with a tasty beer or wine, some good conversation and a movie. On my nights and days off I enjoy exploring the city for new places to eat and drink and spend my holidays snowboarding as much as possible! I have been renting for the last 6 years including in Melbourne, Perth and Switzerland and have never been late with any payments. I am trustworthy, clean and considerate and excited to find my new home!
Just moved back to Melbourne for uni and am looking for somewhere to call home for the next 6 months! Am originally from London and would love to live somewhere with chilled people up for a laugh! Am open to different areas, just would really prefer a private room even if it's basically a cupboard :)
Hello, we are a very nice french couple and we have just arrived in melbourne on 02 february. My name is Charlene and my boyfriend Roman. Roman is a pastry cook on a full-time basis and I myself work at home for a French-speaking Australian family. We are looking forward to meeting you and sharing good times and French pastry. see you soon
Hi I'm Aric, 23 year old Filipino Chef working in South Wharf, Melbourne, on a full time training visa. I'll be at work from 10 am to 10 pm, and I get 2 days off usually on weekdays, so you will rarely see me in the house. I've been in Melbourne for 3 months now and looking for a place much closer to work to save time and money for travel. I am fairly laid back and I mind my own business. I do enjoy socializing on my days off and going around the city to get some fresh air. I am neat (well, if I do make a mess, it's usually just one area in my room) and usually clean my room once a week when I get the time. I'm usually just playing games or watching series if I'm not outside. I barely cook at home, but enjoy preparing meals once in a while. I also enjoy some beer or wine after my work, if I haven't had my drinks near my work area. I'm looking for a private room in the city (preferably Southbank or Docklands) but I'm open to other places as well that are by the free tram zone. My move in date is really as soon as I can because I'll need to move out of my current apartment before the first week of April. For the length of stay, I can stay long term, although it depends on the location and the flatmates, but again, I'm very easy to get alone with. I am flexible when it comes to paying my bills, although I prefer to pay weekly (every Sunday). I will rarely check this page because of my work, but if you do have an offer, send me an sms or e-mail Cheers! P.S. My girlfriend will be visiting Melbourne in a few months, so I need a place that's flexible enough to let her stay with us! :D
