Hi potential flatmates! We're an American-Australian couple that's just moved to Melbourne, looking for some place to live, house or apartment. One of us is a primary school teacher and the other is about to start a master's in urban planning at Melbourne Uni. We like wine and foods and Netflix, and now that I've said that I realize we're actually quite basic. Yay! But seriously, one of us really likes to cook and has dreams of starting a vegetable garden that will mean no more trips to fucking Coles for their surprisingly cheap produce. We're hoping for somewhere with good access to public transport, maybe some outdoor space, character, lighting, possibly a car space. Hit us up if you'd like to look at some places together and navigate this shitty maze that is nailing down a residence in Melbs.
Hi! I'm Fredrika, coming in from Lund in Sweden. I'm here for an exchange semester on University of Melbourne and I'm looking for someplace to live in Melbourne. I'm an amazing flatmate (according to previous ones, please contact me for references), who is a decent cook and amazing cleaning lady. I've been told I'm quite fun to hang with. I like to watch and discuss Netflix series, music and I do enjoy a beer or few from time to time.
I recently moved to melbourne six months ago for a change of scenery and to start a new job. I'm originally from New Zealand but have been living in this beautiful country for the past 12 years. I work in the Insurance industry as a relationship manager, servicing insurance brokers in VIC, TAS, SA. I do travel interstate for work a few times a year and am often out entertaining clients or being entertained. You'd be surprised the Insurance industry isn't that boring. My week days are fairly busy, I work Monday to Friday and sometimes work late if necessary. I love yoga and am looking forward to doing a 30 day yoga challenge at Move Yoga in the city next month, lets hope I succeed! I also enjoy going for walks, exploring, sightseeing, enjoying Melbourne's culture and heading down the coast for road trips if your keen. I call also surf a little bit and look forward to getting back into the water. I LOVE music and often have music playing in the background rather than watch TV. I'm not a party animal anymore but do love a wine every now and enjoy getting out and checking out Melbourne's new hot spots for a drink. In saying this I need my downtime (typical balanced libra) and love to chill, whether thats with a book, movie, hanging out at home. I consider myself a clean, respectful, considerate and friendly housemate.
Moving from Mildura to study law at Victoria Uni. In my spare time I like to play a little music, and have a good chat and a nice beer. I'll be rowing for Footscray Rowing club and I have a casual job lined up already. I am looking for nice housemates that are easy to get along with, otherwise I am fairly easy-going.
Easy going, clean and fun 31 years old who works too much on the weekdays and weekends are to recharge with as much fun as an old over 30's man can have ;-) Looking for a matured, easy going and dun housemate to who appreciates a drink or 2 sometimes and understands space and share housing basics!!
Hi, I'm Llewellyn - Lewy ("Louie") for short. Australian, currently living in Carlton, but have a feeling I'll probably be moving in a couple months. Still wanting to be very close to the CBD for work. Mainly looking within the 1st ring of suburbs surrounding the CBD. I work in Audio/Visual for the events industry - most often in Docklands and do some freelance work as a Sound Recordist with projects for TV, Film or the Web. My down time, when I find it, is usually spent catching up on all the awesome TV shows I watch, going out for food and drink with friends or getting them together for card games/board games. I enjoy cooking at home, listening to music, walking everywhere (and combinations of these, though usually not cooking and walking). Would love to be living with other creatives (for shared passion reasons), events/hospitality/shift workers (for similarity of work lifestyle) and/or fans of relaxing at home with some good TV. I'd say mainly looking for teamups, so we're sharing the adventure of a new place, but happy to come across a good offer from someone already situated.
I am 25 years old, have just moved back to Australia after living in France for a little while, and am looking for a quiet home where I can relax after work and study. I am warm, mature, close to my family and enjoy exercise. I am clean and tidy, and love to cook.
Hello,I am Sky,sociable and considerate, looking for a room or a bed in Melbourne CBD,near tram or train station. I work fulltime, love laughing and outdoor sports, would love to find a comfortable home where after one day work or study we can relax and enjoy life itself! Good reference:)
We are a young couple who are moving to Melbourne from Sydney at the end of January 2017. We are a working couple, following our careers in Engineering and Entrepreneurship. We are both happy, friendly people who have lived in plenty of share houses for the past 6 years. We are social, tidy people who are very interested in making new friends in a new city. We cook a lot at home and love some good banter with the occasional drink.
This is MO looking to find either furnished or unfurnished room around Carlton, Parkville, Brunswick, Fitzroy or any other suburb close to Melbourne uni. Currently I'm doing my master of architecture at the Melbourne university and spend most of my time at uni otherwise at work and when it comes to home, I'm looking to spend my relaxing moment there. I enjoy cooking, and share a good conversation over a glass of wine. I do reading in my spare time, as well as watching movies, hiking in the woods, long walk in city and neighborhood, and sniffing out good coffee and wine. I like to live in a creative environment where people share their lives together and eventually own the place with their creative minds not to nod along on the way of bathroom, and do my best for others to have the same vibe from me. feel free to contact. MO
Hi! I'm currently living in Malaysia and will be moving to Melbourne for research in Unimelb. Arriving on 7th of February (or few days later) and my research will last 7 months, through August. I am a very outgoing person and love to socialize so am always up for a drink or two cause well, duh. During my free time I also love to hang out with some friends or do some activities together and am down for pretty much *anything*! Throw me a bone I'll even play fetch with you (not literally but you get the idea). Oh Netflix can be fun too. I've lived abroad before when I was an exchange student in the US and have done backpacking a fair bit so I've lived with many others from different backgrounds and cultures and would like to consider myself a pretty tolerant and respectful person. Respect all boundaries and stuff a sock in my mouth to shut me up if need be though I don't prefer such extremities. I'm absolutely fine with any location that is convenient and that I can easily travel to campus. Hit me up if you think I can be a good fit for your place and I'm sure we can get along fine!
Hi, I'm Ethan and I'm a 21 year old student from Amsterdam. I'm moving to Melbourne in Feb for an exchange semester at the Uni of Melbourne. I will be searching for a house close to the Parkville Campus with 2+ roommates. I'm social and easy going and love music, sports, going out and hanging out with friends. Please contact me if you're interested to team up or if you have a room available!
Hello ! We are couple coming from San Francisco and Paris. I (Ethel) will be studying in Swinburne University and Kimo will be working. We will be in Australia for around 6 months. We are familiar with Australia as we were both living in Sydney but we are new to Melbourne. We want to make the most of Melbourne and ideally want to find flatmates who we can enjoy with and not just live in the same place. We are clean and tidy and lots of fun on the evening and week-ends but we also like to chill. We enjoy seeing live music, travelling, Kimo likes to cook and we are respectful of the place. Now let's answer the question in everybody's mind : we do not fight :), we've been together for 3 years and we are not one of those annoying couples, we are fun to be around together of separately.
Hello! I'm Katie, 22, just moved to Melbourne from the UK and I'm looking for somewhere to live for 6 - 12 months with a great location and lovely flatmates. I've recently graduated in the UK with a degree in English and Classics. I've moved to Melbourne to live and work somewhere new and to experience all the art and culture the city has to offer - and of course the weather too! I'm sociable, easy going and always respectful of others. I also make a great cup of tea.
Hey there! I'm a training doctor completing a research year at the Alfred Hospital, after which I will complete my final year of my studies. I also work part time in hospitality. As such, I lead a pretty busy lifestyle, but you can rest assured that I'm a very caring, organised and responsible housemate to have. :) I'd say I'm easy going and respectful. I love spending time with others, having a meal, chat and a laugh together, as well as spending time on my own. I would love to get to know my housemates - going on adventures, brunching, or just kicking back with some Netflix. :) Other than studying, I do aerial silks and hoop (as a form of dance and exercise), go to the gym, catch up with friends, explore Melbourne's best brunches and coffee, cook and sleep. I like to live a healthy lifestyle, so most of what I cook will be only good, healthy stuff. I do love to whip up a delicious cheesecake every now and then though! I'm not a party animal - especially not during the week! - but don't mind a social gathering. I am a delicate blend of outgoing and quiet. :3 I have lived out of home since 18, so I can confirm, I am trained in housemate rules. Would love someone who likes being active to go to the gym/ yoga/ be exercise-y with! Won't lie, I tend to be a morning person!
Hey guys! I'm a Kiwi looking to move over to Melbourne end of Jan/early Feb. I like fitness, theater, the occasional cheeky drink or two and even cooking! I'm nice and tidy, get along with pretty much anyone and I always pay bills on time :)
Hello I'm Arturo originally from Mexico. I've been living in Australia for more than two years now and have travelled around the world. Recently graduated from The University of Queensland where studied my masters degree. Somehow new to Melbourne and in love with the city, I work full time in the digital industry as UX Developer from 9 am to 5:30 pm. I must admit I'm a geek, unfortunately I don't know how to fix computers. When not at work, I enjoy reading, watching interesting shows and movies, long walks, good excuses to travel, concerts of my fave bands, techno music and peaceful and lazy Sundays. I'm looking for a place (preferably furnished) with no more than 3 people living in it and that I can call home. Besides all the common trades a good flatmate should have, like, cleanliness, friendliness, calmness, pay on time and be respectful, I've also mastered to keep the bathroom floor dry after showering :) same goes with the toilet seat. I am an introvert, which means that sometimes you'll find me in my inner world even with people around me. I like to live in balanced places where we are not strangers and we can share a meal, drinks or a night out from time to time, but where I can also have my own space and privacy when I'm tired. If you like to keep things to yourself it's ok too I won't bother you at all. If I sound like someone you'd like so share a place to live in, get back to me! Cheers!
I'm an apprentice hairdresser at a salon/record store on Sydney Rd. I work full time during the week and like to go out on weekends. I play music and am very passionate about the Melbourne music scene. I'm friendly, easy-going and respectful of people's personal space. I'm also clean and tidy but not uptight. Looking to move in ASAP :)
Easygoing and able to get along with everyone, wanting a warm and friendly share house. INFJ that would love to hang out with housemates but also values alone time. Love to cook and happy to share it with my housemates too!
Hi i'm Andrea, I'm from Italy and I'm 26. I've a full-time job in a restaurant and I'm looking for a room nearby the CBD. I wanna stay just for 4 mounths becouse in May I want to leave Melbourne and travel. Cheers. Andrea
Hi! My name is Mia, I'm 24 years old, looking to move out of home for the first time. I am tidy, friendly and respectful. I don't party hard, but I am sociable and always happy for a chat or a glass of wine. I'm studying psychology and a cert IV in Mental Health, I volunteer at a telephone crisis line for women, and I work 4-5 shifts a week at a part-time hospitality job. When I'm not working I love to write, read, watch movies, visit museums/art galleries, and hiking/going to the beach. I also love to travel, if only I had more money for it! :'( If you are LGBT+ friendly, smoke-free, and looking for a female housemate in the areas of Hawthorn, Toorak, South Yarra, Richmond etc., then I would love to get to know you!
I am Sara from Italy, 35 yo (but feeling and looking younger!), Psychologist, Nutritional therapist and PhD Candidate at Deakin University from around the first week of / mid March 2017. Respectful, quiet and tidy person, sociable, reliable, nice to live with! Looking for: spacious single room in a comfortable modern house or flat, and great flatmates (possibly professionals around their 30s) in Seddon or Yarraville or nearby, close to the train stations (on the V-line, I will commute every day to Geelong and Melb). Looking forward to meeting you!
I'm Caitlyn I am a 21 year old Canadian, yogi traveller and I'm looking for accommodation in Melbourne, VIC. I'm very clean and organized and I exert positive energy. I'm interested in a solo place but very open to houseshare to meet some friendly humans!
I'm a sociable guy with experience living in share houses. I'm up for a laugh and a beer after work and I'm always keen to try new things. When it come to shared responsibilities I always pull my weight and I'm pretty relaxed about most things.
I am a bright and charismatic 25 year old, music and movie nerd, working as a cleaner for myself and for a company so rent and bills will not be a problem. What I like to do outside of work, I enjoy listening to some Pink Floyd, Bowie or Zepp (yes this is all stoner music but I am not a stoner I can assure you), playing keyboards and sketching and because it's now that time of the year you will find me going for crazy walks or runs just in time for summer. I like to read, sing, play music, cook, draw and paint and learn about almost anything and very passionate about life. Weekends I enjoy a night outs at gigs or bars generally in Fitzroy and Brunswick, where else? I am very respectable of people's privacy/me time and I am not a loud nor a messy person. My occupation is a cleaner so I like to keep my areas neat and tidy. I do enjoy spending time by myself when I've has a big day at work but I can assure you I'd be one fun housemate! I do like to play music a lot but will happily respect the household if they do not wish for me to play music all the time. I am looking for a mix gender or males, warm, clean home with kind people and vibrant personalities and who's up to have a drink at the end of the week and a hang out. In terms of kind, friendly, neat and everyday motivated and outgoing, I am that person. I hope my description of myself is promising. Many regards :D

We appreciate good food, great company, nice wine, all sorts of beautiful culture and arts. Ideally, the place should have a closet / double size bed / and maybe a working desk. Staying for a longer period would be preferred. We are only looking in Collingwood / Fitzroy area! Much love :)
hi I'm Skyler I am a 23 years old Chinese girl who study in Rmit in master of IT. I have a positive attitude to life and easy to be impressed, love trying new things and make new friends. I'm also clean, tidy and quiet. I have shared with others in one room (4 ppl)for 4 years in my university, my roommates all became my close friends. I have traveled alone around China, so I am pretty independent. I also have been to Europe through couch surfing and host some couch surfers from all over the world in my house in China, I am really open minded and respectful. I've been sharing for a house with an old lady in the past 5 months, we had great time together. I have to go back to China for Chinese new year. Hopefully there are someone who rent their room around 21st February 2017. My interests are video games, traveling, painting, music, fitness, cooking, self-improving, and anything interesting. It would be great to team up with a nice roommate who has some same interests :D
Hey guys, we're 2 backpackers looking for a place to stay for a month or two. The best would be melbourne cbd obviously. :) We're young, open minded and kind. We like to have all our things sorted, tidy and clean. So don't worry about the flat being a mess. We have a lot of hobbies and we can't wait to talk about them with a roomie. Obviously we could talk a lot about ourselves here, but it's funnier to talk and exchange information when we have someone in front of us! We hope to find and meet someone with a flat soon. 😊 Cheers!
hey guysss, i am currently enrolling in monash parkville campus and would like to look for a lovely home in beautiful melbourne. I look after myself very well, love making new friends but im a bit shy most of the time if i do not know you well yet. im pretty outgoing if time allows and please do not hesitate to ask me for a good walk. not a fan of cooking but enjoys tasting people's cooking. looking forward to meeting my future housemates!
Hey! My name is Melita, I'm 22 years old and about to move down to study composing at the University of Melbourne. I am essentially the aloe vera plant of housemates - zero drama. So if you're looking for someone who pays the bills on time but is also a good ear and a solid friend, swing me a message. I love: writing music for film, going to gigs, steamed pork buns, playing guitar, getting lost in books, cheeky beers, new stationary, earl grey tea, midnight maccas runs, people who are unapologetically themselves. (Don't worry I write music electronically, so you won't have to listen to my B grade piano playing haha). Not too fussed about: country music. I'm looking for a homely, relaxed place to live and make some quality friends, so if you think I'd suit your vibe, please let me know ;)
Hi, I'm Isaac. I have completed a certificate of Hospitality so can chef up a really good meal. I have completed a diploma of theatre arts, and have a really great work ethic, as well as a great sense of humour. I'm not one to party, but really enjoy having a laugh and good friendships. I am 6'10, yes, that's right. I play basketball and have a great job.
I'm going to be a full-time psych student at Melbourne Uni this year, so I'm looking for a share house close to the uni/on a public transport line. It would be great if I could share with some other students, but it's no necessity! Ideally I'd love a place where we can hangout as a house every now and then (just sharing a beer in the evening would be swell) but also like to chill a bit. I'm a super easy-going, social and tidy person, with a knack for squeezing in a nap whenever and wherever necessary. I play soccer, like going to concerts/theatre/comedy shows etc, enjoy a wine or 20 and love exploring and trying new things! Love a good boogie from time to time, but also appreciate my down time for (aforementioned) naps and watching The Office. I like plants (so am happy to help keep alive any kind of garden or house plants if necessary), LOVE dogs (but also like cats), am not strictly a vegetarian but don't tend to eat much meat, and I don't smoke but don't mind if others do! I'm entirely house trained, so am no stranger to cleaning - actually love it when I'm stressed and/or procrastinating - and I'm no Nigella but I can whip up a mean toastie on the odd occasion.
Friendly, Social and love just relaxing for a few with friends! Moving to Melbourne with one of my best friends from New Zealand, lived in Aus before and now back to earn money and have a good time! If you are a person looking for a single room ask for a team up! easier to get a three bedroom house then a two!
I'm an architecture student from the University of Melbourne currently taking time away from study to work full time in an architectural practice. I'm a social, friendly and open guy as well as clean and considerate and hope to live with like-minded people. I'm passionate about what I do but couldn't do it without coffee, wine, movies and good laughs.
My name is Kahleal and I am 19 years old. I am a New Zealander but have lived in Melbourne for 5 years to better my education. I am a family orientated guy. I am preparing to study at RMIT University (City campus) starting Feb 7th. I would prefer a private room but open to a room share. I am hoping to be located around Melboune CBD near Uni Latrobe St. Due to my studies I need internet access. My price limit for rent is $160 per week with all bills and internet included. I am easy going and a quiet tenant. I keep my living spaces clean at all times. I am always able to help out around the house when needed. I can pay a months rent in advance additional to the bond. You would not regret having me as a flatmate.
Hey guys, I'm Mark and been living in Australia now for 3 years and love Melbourne as a city. Work as a full time teacher and like to work on my art in my spare time. I'm chilled and like a social house but also my own time. Clean and tidy guy and well house trained. Love music, weekends away, out doors, house dinners, beers and just kicking back. Never good at writing these things but get in touch if it sounds like I could fit. Looking forward to hearing from you guys and looking asap.
I am domesticated, like to do my own chores and cleaning. I give people their personal space. I am not very noisy, not a party goer. I've never done drugs, drink moderately. Never been in trouble with the police. I can be witty, easy going, calm. I am looking for a new change from my Home town (Portland, VIC) and prefer to stay in the city of Melbourne because of future opportunities.
21 year old beauty student, who's shy and quiet at first but opens up to be a fun, loving, down to earth, easy going, friendly person. That loves music, hanging out with friends, seeker of knowledge and skills, and has a massive passion of beauty.
We're a very easy-going, respectful couple who are looking for housemates with the same values! We're generally pretty relaxed at home since we both work full-time, but that doesn't mean we don't enjoy a beer now and then. In terms of our schedules, I work mornings working at a cafe, while James works nights bartending. We're looking for a place for about 3 months, since we plan to go travel for a bit in May. I've been out of my home country for a year and a half, so James will be joining me on my adventures! If you have any questions please feel free to ask! Thanks
24 and working full-time in finance. I'm easygoing and enjoy spinning a few records or frisbee in the park. Typically spend weekends out and about with friends and having a boogie, but also enjoy some downtime on the couch watching sport or Netflix. I have plenty of rental history, am considerate of others and always do my bit to keep the home clean and tidy. I'd like to move in late January and would prefer a longer term arrangement of around a year (or more), but this is all flexible. Looking for like-minded, respectful and fun-loving housemates who won’t pass up the odd drink together. Get in touch if we seem like a good fit!
I really like very useless facts but I’m not good in memorizing them. I just graduated Media Psychology and I play the drums in an Electronic New Wave band back in Amsterdam. My ideal day is going out to flea markets, eat a good brekky, take a swim, see a concert and afterwards have a drink near a campfire. My cooking skills are average so I can’t impress future roommates with a masterchef dish, but I’m willing to work on that.
I am a 25 y.o. accountant working in South Melbourne. I tend to keep to myself but I am always up for a bit of banter over beers. I do enjoy my night life but did someone say games night? I cook and clean and I am pretty handy around the house (usually fix technological issues around the house). I love to binge on TV shows whilst smashing my dinner and sitting there until I realise I have achieved nothing tonight. I attempt to be active regularly by playing basketball once a week and trying to get into the gym a few times a week. Although I am shy at first, I am very easy to get along with. I am quite chilled and usually up for whatever. Looking for flat mates that are sociable but don't intrude. Looking for a place preferably with a parking spot. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
- Moved to Melbourne from Dubai 4 months back - Doing my masters degree from RMIT - City - Working part time as a business systems coordinator - Enjoyable to be around, but also respect people's privacy - Always up for a friendly chat and share a meal Rent budget: In CBD: 220 if shared bathroom 250 if ensuite/own bathroom Around CBD: 200 if shared bathroom 230 if ensuite/own bathroom
I'm a 22 year old, full-time gal who enjoys outdoor activities, reading and cooking. Always up for a cup of tea/glass of wine and a chat. I'm both outgoing and easygoing, and have lived in sharehouses before (so know the drill).
I love animals, gardening, sleeping in, reading and garlic bread. I am currently a uni student majoring in psychology but not one of those annoying ones who think they can psychoanalyse everything you do just because they've taken a class on cognitive psychology before.
23 year old, new to Melbourne. Recently graduated from University on the Gold Coast and spent a good chunk of 2016 traveling the USA and working at a Summer Camp. Vegetarian (but happy to cook for my meat eating friends) and massive animal lover aka crazy dog lady. I have family and friends in Melbourne already, but look forward to making some new pals. I will be working full time in the city, Tuesday-Saturday, and will spend a fair bit of time away from the house. During the week I'm a bit of a nanna and will go to the gym most days and love to watch movies or cringe reality TV and cozy up on the couch. I also love a glass of red, a cheese board and a dance. I hate mess, love natural lights and plants :)
Canadian gal on my second working holiday visa. Looking for a private room for the next few months in a house or apartment. I've just arrived in Melbourne but lived here for 4 months last summer and fell in love with the city. I'll be looking for full-time work and enjoy cooking, a nice glass of wine, being active and a good laugh! I'm a clean, respectful and quiet person who enjoys socializing but also my own space. I love animals so would be a bonus if you have fur babies!
I love music, metaphysics, parties, vivid interactions, dogs, exploring new places, always up for trying new things. Recently completed finance degree and am working full time in an event management company. Message me anytime, anyday ;)
Hello, i'm giorgia, i'm 20 and i'm an italian girl. Me and my friend francesco are looking for a room as soon as possible. I'm a waitress in an italian restaurant and he's a kitchen hand. thank you, cheers
Hi I'm Chelsea I'm interested in the room you have available. A bit about myself; im 20 and working full time in the city as a chef. I'm very organised so bills and rent won't be a problem at all. I'm hoping to move into somewhere asap and I'm looking to stay 6 months +. I've had experience in share houses before so I understand the responsibilities of cleaning up after myself, my room and the rest of the house. My hours are a bit all over the place so I'm in and out of the house at different times during the week but I'm not loud and very respectful of others at night and early in the morning. I'm very easy going and easy to get along with, I like to socialize and chat away about how the day has gone but also like my alone time to chill out. Hope I fit the part and hear back from you, thanks!
Hi, Bradley here. Im studying an arts degree at RMIT. I like to produce music on small studio speakers/headphones, read philosophy, psychology, and other cool stuff. I'm from up North NSW and fly up near Fraser Island QLD during semester breaks. I have experience in hospitality so I like to keep clean and tidy, (inc kitchen). Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hey! We've just moved down to Melbourne from North Queensland and are looking to find a friendly home to settle down. We're both open minded, relaxed, fun loving people. Would love like minded people to hang out with, play a board game or have a couple of drinks, but can live with anyone and are respectful of space and downtime. We love cooking, playing games (PS4 or board games), exercising and going out and about exploring. We are clean and tidy, respect communal spaces and have lived in great share-houses before. :) Our ultimate place would have a gym and swimming pool to save on memberships and have the freedom to exercise whenever we need. Please let us know if you've got somewhere to suit or would like to team-up! Would love to hear from you. Cheers!
