I'm a Canadian student who just finished my bachelor's at McGill in Montreal (Canada) and have been working in BC for the summer. I am moving to Aus for a working holiday, and am looking forward to the sunshine, coffee and culture in Melbourne! I have travelled a lot in the past, and have recently lived in Lyon, France for six months on an exchange, and loved being able to travel around Europe and practice my French. I'm easygoing and speak English, French and a bit of Spanish!
Me and my boyfriend are planning on coming out to Australia in November. Myself, Ellie a 21 year old from the U.K and my boyfriend, Thomas, 22 year old also from the U.K. Both looking to stay together in a house/flat share. Both currently working in coffee shops where we live and aim to work in coffee shops when we come to Australia. We are non-smokers, very rarely go out clubbing (just on the odd occasion), love going out for dinner and sophisticated drinking with friends, love animals, meeting new people, healthy diet. We currently know 1 person living in st. kilda, a girl we used to work with here in the UK, she is working in a coffee shop. We will be on a working holiday visa and aim to stay in Australia for around a year maybe longer if we want our 2nd year visa.

Hi everyone, my boyfriend and I are moving to Melbourne on Working Holiday visas this October - looking for a furnished double room in the city/inner suburbs. I am 23, from the UK, and Ricky is 22, from the US. We're not looking for a party house but we're very sociable and would love to get to know you as we don't know many people in Melbourne! We love cooking, going out for dinner/drinks, and doing fun days out. We're planning on working full-time when we arrive (we have enough to support ourselves until we find work). Budget is $300-400 pw for rent and bills. Move in date 4-7 October - staying for about 1 year, though maybe a little less.
I have a background in teaching English, and working with deaf kids. Originally from India, I lived in Adelaide for 10 years and moved here 2 years ago. I will be training and working with a women's support network before going to university next year to study public policy. I love cats, board games, all animals really, american tv, and bollywood, and am a complete foodie. On a regular day at home, you will find me binge watching netflix or reading in mismatched pyjamas. I am clean, respectful, warm, LGBT friendly and lean to the left and would like to live with someone with a similar disposition. I bring with me a medium fridge, a spare heater and an exercise bike, all of which am happy to share. I also have a double bed, which am not willing to share! (cats and dogs are excluded) I don't have any pets but it's a bonus if you do :)
Professional, single female seeking a place to call home when I relocate to Melbourne. Would be great to find somewhere temporary in the Richmond area or the CBD. Whilst I cannot commit to longer term, I am a quiet and respectful individual who would be out at work most days of the week. If anyone is in need of renting one of their rooms, or their apartment, short term in September, I'd love to hear from you.
Hi there! :-) I am a 25 year old Norwegian who just moved to Melbourne to do one semester of my masters in economics and business administration at the University Of Melbourne. I'm really sociable and I would love to find a place to live with like-minded people. I love to travel, explore new things and get to know new people. I'm a tidy person who is used to living with other people and respect my roommates. I'm always up for fun and I would say that I'm an easy going person. I am interested in finding roommates who would like to make dinner together from time to time, go out to grab a beer or a cup of coffee, or just chill out. If you need a new roommate and think that I could fit in I would love to hear from you :-)
Hi, I'm returning home to Australia from Copenhagen at the 19th of September and start a position as Group Sommelier at a famous dining institution in Melbourne. Would the room be available around the 19th of September and if so could we have a skype call interview to see if we would be good for each other. I'm 31 years old, clean, quiet, non smoker who meditates daily. Very best, Kabir
Hi! I´m a Swedish girl that soon is becoming a backpacker in Australia. I'm planning to start I Melbourne and to stay there for one and a half month from middle of September to late October. Hi, I'm Laura, moving to Melbourne for work. I'm easygoing, clean and considerate around the house, sociable but not a party animal. I work full-time, study part time, like to get out and about (hiking, camping, exercise, arts, social events). I also like cooking and would love to share dinner with housemates occasionally. I don't smoke and would be looking for a non-smoking house. I have no children or pets, but am fine with other people's. I'm looking for a long term sharehouse, preferable for 1 year or more, with great people and positive attitudes. People and location are important to me, not fussed if the place is fancy or not. Please let me know if you have any questions or know of something that might suit. Cheers Laura
