I just finished uni in Canberra and I'm moving to Melbourne at the start of February to start a job at a law firm in the CBD. Love to travel, been to around 40 countries so far. I love to play sport (soccer and futsal) and try to get to the gym (but to be honest it's more of an ambition than a habit). I'm a good cook but awful at planning meals. I'm also a politics junkie and enjoy some good political satire on abc. I've previously leased an apartment in Canberra, stayed in student accommodation in the UK on uni exchange and made my way through countless hostel dorm rooms. I'm looking for housemates that are keen to hang out and chat/eat/drink but also realise I sometimes need my own space too. Regular house/family dinners wouldn't go amiss! Location is important but I'd much rather find the right group of people who have similar values to me. If you like binging tv shows, exploring the city, going on walks and bike rides and want someone who is friendly, clean, low maintenance and easy to live with, then I could be your guy. It's a cliche but I'm looking for a home not a house. "It's the vibe" - The Castle
I'm a 20-year-old girl moving from Perth this year to study Music Theatre at the VCA. I'm looking for a place available at the start of March until the end of October. I sing, dance and act and thus have a pretty bubbly and fun personality! I'm very clean and tidy, organised and practical. I love cooking and hope to do a lot of it in Melbourne. I am very easy going and like to have fun! Moving from Perth, I won't know many people so am looking for flatmates who are willing to look out for me and give me a bit of company if I'm feeling lonely - basically someone who I can call a friend! That being said, I also love having my own space and don't mind peace and quiet. I'll be at uni most weekdays and hope to acquire a casual job once I arrive in Melbourne. Please contact me to find out anything else you would like to know!

Personally I am pretty easy going, am Australian but have lived in the Netherlands, Oman, Scotland, France and Sweden, like music, travel, reading, vegetarian food (I don't care what you eat, though. I mean if it's really weird I might judge, but I promise I'll do it silently), podcasts, trying to keep up my French, running and entertain myself by following the trainwreck that is American politics right now. Professionally I'm an electrical engineer (but one of the ones who talks to people, I swear!) going to be working at Telstra next year - if you've had a terrible experience with them I am so sorry, please don't hold it against me! I've previously house-shared with one other person and 9 other people before so have a decent range of experience, am now looking for either a room in a household where there's some kind of weekly cleaning schedule, or to team up with someone and rent a place nearish the CBD.
Hi there, I am a Software Engineer, working full-time. Have been living in Brisbane for the past 19 years and now relocating to Melbourne for work. I am looking for a furnished place to stay short to medium term, ie anywhere between 2-6 months. I am a vegan and love all animals. I am very friendly, I enjoy having meaningful conversations but also need my own quiet time and respect other people's space. I enjoy running, swimming, cycling, and hiking. Love to travel and explore new places. If you want to learn more about me or have any questions, please feel free to send me a message! :)
I'm a 22 year old insurance professional who loves cooking, quiet nights and a variety of sports/exercise. I'm new to Melbourne (currently staying in a temp place) and am ideally looking to move into a 2/3 bed flatshare in South Yarra, Southbank, Docklands or CBD. Tentative move in date is set for the weekend of Feb 24th/25th. I've stayed in a few flatshares before and consider myself a fairly easygoing flatmate that is both sociable and tidy. Please feel free to get in touch if you have a listing that might be a good fit!
I am a wine bar supervisor in South Wharf. Recent graduate from Deakin uni in business, I am pretty chilled and relaxed at home. I enjoy quiet movie days when I'm at home, but I'm also up to interesting conversations if the occasion is right. :)
Hey everyone! We're a couple who have just moved to melbourne and are on the lookout for the best housemates on offer! We're a pretty social couple who'd love to have a couple of bevs every now and then. Although we are pretty social, we also like our quiet time for study and binge watching netflix.
Hello all!!! I am a 23 year old single male currently residing in Sydney, but moving to Melbourne in mid-January for a 2 year placement in an IT consulting job. I am highly interested in health and fitness, and have a consistent meal structure, boil my own rice/pasta regularly, and have a "clean as you go" mindset in the kitchen so that it can be mostly left in a good state. Personality-wise, I'm a social introvert, meaning I love to go out and meet friends and new people, while also being happy with my own company. Since I am moving to a new city, I am more than happy to get to know new people and have a great time. I'm a punctual person in life, and will always pay rent and bills on time. I am looking forward to talking to potential future housemates.
Recently graduated from bachelor of industrial design RMIT. Working part-time as a barista now while looking for a full-time job as a designer. I am an easy going and open-minded girl who spends most of her downtime reading books, watching films, going to an independent cinema, or local cafe for afternoon coffee/wine and visiting museums/galleries to immerse myself in the latest art curation. I also have an adorable cuddle one-year-old cat. His name is Ascher, I named him after my favourite artist, M.C. Escher! I am clean, organised and easy to live with. Looking to share an awesome home with someone who loves cat, doesn't mind spending time discussing books, films, arts, or life in general while sipping red wine or beers with me on some nights but also appreciate privacy and alone time when needed! :)
I'm a 24 year old professional working in data analytics full time. I'm currently looking for a place to move into by 4 Feb (at the latest) I'm looking for a place (minimum 6 months) in West Footscray, North Melbourne, Fitzroy, Brunswick, Yarraville, etc. (I'm not that concerned with where, as long as closish to the city and public transport is around) I do contract remote book keeping on top of my full time job, so I have no problems with bills. I have 8 years of experience in sharehousing. I'm relatively quiet, although always willing to hang out with housemates. I drink too much coffee and come with a Netflix subscription I'm willing to share. Most weekends I'm off exploring the city or trying something new (like a museum, a gallery or a cooking class).
Hi! My name's Callista and I am 18 years old. I am looking for accommodation to stay at whilst I pursue tertiary education. I will be studying Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne, and I am pretty psyched (and looove science). I am moving from a rural town, and as such have very strong values of team work, sharing and community. I do , however, also appreciate some down time and wouldn't be a hassle as I really am a bookworm (And I can guarentee Biomed is gonna have me basically drowning in books for study). I am also quite mature for my age, having grown up with much older brothers (aged now 26 and 30) Not to say I cant enjoy a party, I certainly am sociable and would really like to enter a household that is lively and chill. I am tidy, generally organised, and can promise that I will do my fair split of the chores. . Also if it makes any difference, I have a new microwave that I will be bringing down (slight bribery happening now). I truly believe that I could fit into almost any household, so please contact me if you are looking for a fellow housemate! Thankyou in advance, Callista
Hi! I am a chilean environmental engineer that just arrived here in Melbourne with a WH visa. I am 26 years old, like sports, doing outdoor activities and I also like to go out on the weekends. I am an easygoing person, with interest in making friends of different nationalities and getting to know different cultures. Right now I am looking for a job so I pretend to be at home in the afternoons. I am a tidy, clean and organized person. I respect personal spaces but also like to share a good coffee (or a beer) occasionally. I can cook for myself but also cook as a group and share a good meal. I am from Chile so I can teach how to cook some chilean meals aswell.
I am a very chatty and excitable girl, I love my jobs working in retail and at a primary school. Neat and tidy but not possessively so. Loves a good chat over some tv shows or a couple of drinks. Slide into my dm's if you're in need of a housemate who is always up for a good time :)
currently studying marketing/economics + working in a jewellery store. I enjoy all things espresso, film photography and occasionally long distance running. I like to think I'm fairly down to earth and tidy, I'm respectful of space and privacy but also won't say no to a friendly chat over a glass of wine/ shared meal etc.
I work full-time as barista in the city and part-time student, looking for a place ASAP, I'm easy going, like doing yoga, swimming some time boxing, and enjoy drink with my books and movies.
Super easy to get along with, respects others and their space, whilst also loving socialising with everyone when people are around and up for it. When I'm not working I enjoy dancing, going to classes at the gym (really want to get into Muay Thai once I find a place to live), creating, baking, chilling watching Netflix and hanging out with friends.
I am Karthik based in Chennai,India. I am on PR visa to Melbourne to look for any suitable opportunities. To tell about myself i am easy going and keen to gain good friends.I am not a talkative person but can be reachable for any help\support if required. I am married and have a 1 year old kid, who will be living in India till i get settled here.
Yet another twenty-something looking for sweet digs north of the city! Currently looking for an unfurnished room in/around the regular Northside areas. Long-term lease is ideal, as I'm looking for something pretty stable. Close to public transport is a must as I'm a slave to our PTV overlords and need them to get to my jobs in the city. Preferably up to $200-230/wk, but can do higher if price includes bills. I work full-time-equivalent in ticketing and other arts/festival admin-y jobs, which means: a) I'm out of the house quite a bit, especially during festival time, b) I have a steady-enough income that means rent/bills get paid on time, and pantry is always in full supply of Blend 43, and c) I can offer you free tickets to things as an apology in the rare event I leave a gross pan in the sink for an unacceptable amount of time! Not a great cook, but can contribute in other ways like taking out bins and spiders, and not being overly-around when you need some space. I'm also clean, reasonably tidy, polite to your visiting mum, and all those good things. Will be in Adelaide for work Feb 10 - March 20, so looking to move in either ASAP or in late March when I'm back in town. Of course, I'm more than happy to sign a lease, pay rent etc. for the time I'm away if I'm able to move in before I ship out to SA.
Hey, I'm Josh and I'll be studying design at Swinburne this year. You'll usually find me playing guitar in my spare time, or scrolling through my Insta looking at design things. I am a friendly, clean and motivated person. I have spent the past few years working and travelling. I consider myself decent enough to impress some mates in the kitchen, and love a good beer and laugh with friends. Let me know if you think we'd get on well in a share house.
Hi! I’m Daniela. I’m 25 years old and I’m from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I’ve finish my studies last December in Buenos Aires. I’ve a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. And now I’m in Melbourne for a Working and Holiday Visa. I’m planning to stay one year here. I’m very responsible and organized. I like to keep the house clean and fresh. I love to cook and I’m always happy to share a meal. In my free time I enjoy being outdoors doing sports or just relaxing with family and friends (I’m in love with Albert Park :D ). Sailing and mountaineering are two of my favourite hobbies. Also enjoy reading and watching a good movie or series (friends, black mirror, got, Sherlock are some of my favourite). I like photography so I spend a lot of time learning about it and of course love traveling and meeting new people and cultures. I'm always looking to hearing stories and learn new things. I like to go out but I’m not an extremely party person. A beer or a glass of wine it's always a great choice during a good chat. I don’t smoke and I prefer that nobody does it inside the house. My native language is Spanish, but my English is fluent and also I can speak some German. I’ve arrived in Melbourne on the 13th January and I’m looking for flatmates. If you believe that we can be good flatmates, please contact me. I'll be happy to meet you :)
