We are two funky friends looking to team up with some new pals to form a share house, hopefully in January ! Georgie has been living on campus at Monash for the past three years studying Physiotherapy (gives good massages), and Austin is making the move up to the big smoke from Tassie in 2017 and hopefully going to start studying at uni here too. Georgie also works a few different jobs, and Austin be finding part time employment too. Georgie and Austin are a couple so would be sharing a room ($$$ off rent!!). We are all really fun and easy going people, love to have a boogie but (especially Georgie) love to buckle down and get some work done. We are all super clean and have good rental histories and references. We love going on nights out, hanging out at home with some bevs, watching tv and doing all the usual stuff you'd expect. We hope to find some like-minded folks to hang out with, cook family dinners and have an excellent year together!!
**Single room only, no bedroom share!** I am respectful of others' space and I like things on the tidy side! I currently live in Chicago but am moving to Melbourne on a work & holiday visa on Jan 6th. I'd prefer the bedroom be furnished!
I'm a full-time student at University of Melbourne, pretty easygoing, open-minded and always up for new things! I love music, art, culture, travel, hiking and all kinds of adventure! I'm also a passionate couchsurfer who loves to meet friends from different cultural background. so if you are interested to be friends or flatmates, don't hesitate to message me! ^ ^
My name is Luke, and I'm a Canadian that fits that laid back, polite stereotype. Step on my shoe and I'll apologise. I'm a coffee guy. I work at a cafe and love to make and share coffee. I'll shoot the breeze now and again and do some communal cooking over a glass of wine. I like books, coffee, films, hikes, and, if you have them, video games. Living with me: I respect privacy, personal boundaries, and time to oneself. Yeah, we can have a good chat and catch up; I can read the air and know when to talk (or not). I like a clean kitchen and I always make sure the dishes are clean for whoever wants to use them next. My visa is up mid-February, so I'm in for a good time, not a long time. Hope to hear from you!
I am easy going, sociable but independent teacher originally from NZ. Have been flatting for 10 years now, so rest assured I know the drill, i.e. I'm clean, friendly and can pay bills on time. I love to travel, explore Melbourne, meet new people, watch sport, (sometimes play) and read a good book on the beach while drinking a fabulous New Zealand wine.
I'm a 19 year old student from a country town just outside of Canberra. I'm moving to Melbourne early next year to study and work part time which means I will be kept fairly busy. I'm looking for someone of similar age to share a trendy, high rise apartment in the CBD (I've been doing some research and have found some nice places already - however open to suggestion). I love to cook, workout, binge watch Criminal Minds and just chill with friends.
I am an academic looking for a furnished studio or my own flat, but could also imagine living with in a shared house (preferably ensuite room - with an own bathroom). I am from Europe and in Melbourne for my sabbatical as a Visiting Researcher at RMIT. I love sports, cooking and am responsible, clean and quiet. Non-smoker.
Hi , I'm Duygu cheerful girl , from Turkey. I will come to Melbourne as a student for 2 months maybe 3. I am tidied up and neat. I always clean things after me, so that's not gonna be a problem. Not a neat freak. Pets are ok for me, if you have. I love any kind of animal especially cats and dogs ! I can take the dog out for a walk and feed the cat all the time <3 no prob. I am friendly, outgoing, open-minded, cheerful. I like partying (outside of course) , movie nights, watching tv series, grabbing a glass of wine sometimes..Not a 24 hours party animal but I like meeting with new people, chatting, sharing thoughts, funny stories.. I do respect other's life and spaces. I'm quiet at home but if you call me for PS,movie, chatting, dinner I'm always in ^^ Probably my English school will be between 9ish and 14o'clock, Mon-Fri. I'm looking for a place as a private room. Yard would be fine to chill and BBQ(I'd never complain about something if you'd do it everyday haha). I might be a student in Melbourne, but no worries about the bills cuz I'm already employed in my country. I'll be landed on 8th so it's a bit urgent !
I'm moving to Melbourne to start university next year at VCA in Southbank, and am looking for any nice place to live. I'm somewhat introverted and quiet but easygoing and up for socialising, and I'm easy to get along with. I am a photographer and love art, music, films, games, and pretty much anything creative. I'm also vegan and an animal lover, and great with pets.
I am a 23 year old Biomedical Science graduate relocating from Noosa to Melbourne to start a Masters degree in Epidemiology at the University of Melbourne. I am a reliable, quiet, tidy and respectful individual who enjoys an active social lifestyle, with a balance of quiet nights in. I love to cook and indulge in all things food and wine related. Ideally I'm looking for longer term accommodation so I'd be happy to sign onto a 6 or 12 month lease. I am open to either furnished, or unfurnished accommodation as I have some pieces that can be transferred down from Queensland/I am able to provide or chip in for new furnishings. I can relocate down to Melbourne as soon as a place is available.
We are both really easy going and fun individuals. I have just graduated university in England having lived there with people for three years, so know exactly what it is like to share accommodation with people. Looking to find some more permanent accommodation so hope to hear back from anyone !
Hi there! I'm Alex and I'm a 21 year old full time retail worker. I love going out and experiencing new things but I also love my time to chill out and relax. I'm looking for a flat relatively close to the city, as I currently spend an hour getting to work each way, it's starting to wear thin. I'd love to live with a person (or persons) who like to hang out every now and again, but also are okay to want some time on their own. Thanks!
We are reliable and trustworthy. We are very easy to get along with. Will always make the environment we live in is clean. Would you like to contact me on Thank you.
Hi there, I´m a 25 year old girl from Sweden who is looking for an accommodation from now until the end of February 2017. I have moved down temporarly to Melbourne for work and will go back to the Sunshine Coast when uni starts. I am used to sharing and as a person I´m friendly and very respectful to others and the house I´m living in. Please note that I´m only looking for an accommodation where there is a LUG or undercover parking space available. If you have something you think might fit, then I would be really glad to hear from you :) Cheers
Hi there, I'm passionate bartender, who love sports, party and chill out. From Italy, English and Spanish speaking. I'm tidy, clean and respectful of own space. I would find a good atmosphere to share some meal/drink/movie and laughs. My friend Rita comes from Europe in Holiday, enjoying for few months this amazing land...and travelling!
Hi! I'm an easygoing and social girl from Finland. I'm coming to Melbourne in January and searching for a furnished room to rent in a lively neighborhood. I'm ready to move in the beginning of February. Although I'm excited to share the place with other cool people, I'd like to have my personal space too, own room. I'm willing to check the places before making any contracts. As I'm not sure yet how long I'm going to stay in the city, I can't make leases longer than 4-6 months :) How am I as a flatmate then? I always clean after myself and I hope you do as well. I follow the house rules and keep my promises. I appreciate everyones own space. I like going out and be active, so I probably will be out of the house often. Also I won't mind dining and hanging out with my new nice flat mates! Overall I'm a fun and trustworthy person to live with :)
I'm a uni student going into my 2nd year at the Victorian College of the Arts. I study Stage Management and I love going to see shows in my spare time. I work long hours at uni, and I'm a fairly independent person so I'll be an unobtrusive flatmate but I enjoy socialising in my downtime.
Hey guys! I'm moving up from Sydney on a new work contract, never lived in Melbourne and really excited! I'm a 27yr old social male who loves traveling but also relaxing at home after a hard day at work. I work in management for hospitality which I love. Looking for somewhere to live around the Richmond area. Look forwards to hearing from you! Michael
We are 2 girls from the North of England. We are looking to rent a 2 bedroomed fully furnished property from the 3rd January or 2 bedrooms (not shared) in a shared house! We are looking to be working full time We are super friendly, fun, laid back and tidy. We enjoy socializing, being active and having fun which makes us easy to get along with. Although we plan to work full time and therefore wont be the house all day everyday, we enjoy cooking and would love a house share that respects each others space but also enjoys social activities together. If there is anything you would like to know please message us! Thank you and look forward to hearing from you, Kind Regards Abigail and Briony
I'm a 20 year old medical student looking for a place near the city. I'm generally kept pretty busy with study, but I like touristing around Melbourne or going out for lunch, and try to drag myself to the gym at least once a week. Next year I'm more likely to stay in for some Netflix and tea, but I do enjoy going out to bars or having a couple of friends over for drinks. Looking for a small sharehouse or unit to call home for at least a year. Ideal flatmates are easy going people around the same age, happy to share meals (I hope you like spaghetti!), and will keep up their half of the housework.
I'm 26, British and currently on a working holiday visa in Aus. I'm in Brisbane ATM but hoping to find a cool place to live in Melbourne from January as I've just got a job there, and love the place! Would love to live with some friendly chilled out people who can show me round and hang out round the house on the evenings. If you have pets that's a bonus cause I'm an animal lover. Also I'm a beer, wine and coffee lover ;) I'm quite flexible on length of stay but it wouldn't be more than 6 months. Hoping to pay no more than $200 per week bills included. Also flexible on location... My job is in Richmond but I don't know Melbourne too well. Anywhere near public transport is good. If you think you have something suitable please drop me a message! Thanks
I'm a mature 20 yrs old recent uni grad. Moving to Melbourne for some career opportunities. I have job where I would work 30-40 hours per week ranging over all 7 days. I intend to play sport most evenings so I'll hardly be home! I am quite, respectful and career orientated person. I will always pay rent in full and in advance! Im a non smoker, non drinker, non partier. If your place has off street parking and furnished would be a massive bonus! I'm flexible about move in date, ideally early to mid Jan would suit me best. I'm also flexible about the suburbs and would prefer an all female household. Please contact me if your interested :)
I grew up living in rural Victoria, currently at boarding school in Ballarat. Wanting to move to Melbourne for 6-7 months before my Uni course in Adelaide starts in July 2017. Living in a boarding house has allowed me to grow respect for other's belongings, space and needs, so I feel I would be a valuable asset in a prospective share house. I enjoy cooking, reading, watching movies, hockey, netball and swimming.
Hello. :) I'm Tanvi, am 22 year-old student completing a Masters of Counselling course from Monash University. I'm looking for a place (not a shared room; I'm looking for an own furnished room, preferably with an ensuite bathroom) that's preferably somewhere in between uni and the city, and hoping to stay for a minimum of 4 months, starting end of December. I'm friendly, fairly easy-going and absolutely love to travel. Although I generally love to socialise, I also appreciate some time to myself occasionally. I intend to keep the apartment very neat and tidy, and would like to team up with someone similar in that respect. I enjoy reading, dancing (I do some Latin :)), and cooking (I tend to eat healthy as often as possible, but indulge from time to time). I'm also a big fan of good conversations, about almost anything, and am therefore looking not only for house-mates but for potential friends. :) Lastly, I'm a huge dog-lover, and although I don't have any, I'd love to share an apartment with someone who does! Feel feel to send me a message if you know of anything that's suitable. Cheers!

Bonjour, I'm a French traveler and I'm coming back to Melbourne to settle down a little until my next trip. I'm a freelance interior designer, so I work where / when ever I want, but I know how to keep a budget and always pay the rent on time. It is my second time in Melbourne (I stayed 6 months in an amazing sharehouse the first time) I love cooking for everybody (french cuisine mostly) I'm pretty quiet but always ready to grab a beer or something. And I still don't know how long I want to stay in Melbourne...but 6 months is a minimum. à bientôt ;) Annabelle

I'm a social, fun, easy going and very laid back guy. i like to go out and have a few casual drinks and try out new food and travel to new places. i play rugby union during the winter and cricket in summer. after work i just like to relax and watch tv shows or movies. **Just wanted to point out before anyone msgs me I'm not looking to share a room with someone** I'm originally from Byron Bay but have called Melbourne my home for almost 3 years now. I'm searching for a tidy and quiet-ish share house with people in their early-mid 20's, flexible with the move in date slightly - could wait until early/mid Jan - really just looking for the right place. I am working part time at ANZ head office, as well as studying International relations at Deakin, Burwood, which keeps me pretty busy. Aside from all the usual stuff, like can pay rent and bills on time, housetrained, clean and respectful... I like to get to the beach the rare times the weather is just right, adventure to unknown places, attempt to care for my few plants, yoga, embarrassingly spend way too much time wondering the homeware isles of kmart and love a BYO dinner with friends. Also I'm the girl on the left. Thanks x
I am openmined and accepting and can adapt easily to people and lifestyle. I am a creative thinker with motivation and really enjoy others company, Melbourne is exciting new place for me to live in and I can't wait to share this experience!
Hi guys! Manami is from Japan and I am originally from France. We used to live in Tokyo and work there as a financial accountant (her) and a public high school teacher (me) but we decided to take a break away from Japan and to move to Melbourne to live and work there for about a year. We are very clean, tidy, always eager to help if you need anything and we are a very friendly and sociable couple. We have no problem living in our own space and doing our own things but we are always more than happy to spend some time chatting, sharing beers or a bottle of wine or going out for dinner. We love to cook (especially French and Japanese food), watch TV shows (if you're looking for people to watch the next season of Game of Thrones with, you just found them!), go out to try new restaurants, bike around the city or just relax. If possible, we would like to leave in a central area of Melbourne so we can ride our bicycles anywhere from there. Our ideal budget would be 300 AUD but if your place is really nice and well located, we are ready to go up to 350 AUD. We would like to move in this month but we are flexible with dates. If you would like us to be your new roommates or if you have any question, please feel free to contact us. Cheers! Manami and Vince

My name is Sol, I'm 26 years old and work hospo. I work a lot, and go out a fair bit but I would love to find a home where I can spend time with my flatmates cooking, drinking of binging a show on Netflix. I'm pretty laid back and easy to get along with. Age is only a number but I would like to live with mature people that can take care of themselves and the house. A part from that, I'll be happy with anyone. I'm pretty tidy, clean and quiet. I've been living in Melbourne since 2012 and intend to stay, I'm after a long term accommodation and would rather not changing flatmate every month. I'm not really good at describing myself but message me if you want to know more.
I'm Kabir, a 26 year old working as a full time landscape architect, currently share housing in Richmond. I moved to Melbourne from Christchurch, New Zealand, a year and a half ago and I am loving it. I have regular office hours Monday to Friday with weekends off. I keep a pretty low profile during the week and head out to socialise with mates on weekends. Big on having a good vibe in a flat. Being respectful of other people's space and self sufficiency are important traits to have. I'm a pretty easy going guy so am looking for people who like to go with the flow. I'm happy socialising with flatmates, be it over cooking dinner, just hanging out or heading out - but am equally as happy just doing our own thing.
