My situation is that i have to move out from my current place within approx. 3wks (30Oct)because the landlord is changing to a real-estate agreement and therefore everyone has to be out! i am a mature 38yr, I work in the community health sector, and am a quiet friendly /social person and also a clean and relatively tidy person(not over the top) and respect peoples space. I also have a small old and friendly dog.
I am a Patient Transport Officer (non-emergency Ambulance Officer) and am seeking 'granny flat' accommodation. I moved down from Queensland 1 year ago and have been sharing with others up until now. A 57 yo divorced 'gentleman' who has been a home owner in the past and is clean living, quiet and respectful. Dogs seem to love me too as they are true judges of character ;) I also require the Internet.
I'm a full-time graphic design student from Belgium/UK doing an exchange year at Deakin University. I'm looking for a room for my remaining time here in Australia (end of November - July 2018). I am pretty open for new things. I can be a quiet flatmate at times but am always up for fun adventures (even if it's just going for a food shop) and I won't say no to beer. I'd say I'm pretty neat and I like to clean, especially if I have uni work to do. Besides that, I love to listen to music, explore places, chill with friends or go out. I enjoy long chats and I also absolutely love animals.
We are a laid back couple from Sweden who just moved to Melbourne and have start working. We like to stay healthy and active but we also like to go out for a beer on weekends.
Hi everyone, I am a 25 year old laid back guy from Colombia and I’ve come here to study architecture at RMIT but I’m looking for a place to call home and to find some awesome housemates to be like my family away from home 😊 As a housemate, I am tidy (I clean up after myself), I enjoy cooking and love the occasional drinks outside and inside of home but I don’t randomly bring people over. I respect your privacy, and your possessions and I understand personal space etc. I’ an independent and a very busy person so you won’t see my much but when I am at home but when In am at home, I like to have a chat, or a meal or drink together. I spend most of my days either working, studying or exercising. I work at Red Spice Road so on the odd occasion, I try to sneak food home to share with you.
Hi There, I've studied construction management and architecture at Deakin in Geelong the past 5 years so now im making the move to Melbourne to start a graduate position with a construction company operating in the CBD. I will be working standard weekly office hours mon - fri. I love the outdoors including surfing, golf and camping and also love all things music including the occasional festival and gig. I will definitely be making the most of being in Melbourne to check out many music venues around. As I will be based in the CBD ideally i would prefer somewhere close by or with easy access into the city to reduce the commute as much as possible to spend more time doing things Id prefer to be doing including going the gym or spending time with friends. Also open to weekly rent from $100 to ~$250. Hopefully I seem like someone you like to live with and i hear from you soon !
Hey I'm Chase. I'm 19yo and I'm studying aviation atm. I like to focus on my study (just kidding) and I usually spend my spare time on video games and netflix. I'd consider myself as an introvert, the reason I point it out is because I personally feel like people on here are always seeking people who are very social and I'm just being honest about who I am. It doesn't mean that I always lock myself in my room even though I'm a considerate and quiet person which means I'm still very interested in making friends and extending my social circle. =)
Hi, I'm from France and I m coming back for a 2nd year in Melbourne and for this year I would like to find a nice place to stay around this beautiful city. I m working in filmmaking industry and I also have other jobs in hospitality. I m easy going, I like to talk about everything, having a coffee or a beer, share a meal... I love cooking, watching movies and do some sport. I also like to have my own time to relax... Anyway I'll be more than happy to meet you in person to talk everything. See you soon, Solène
Hey everyone, my name's Amber. Turned 30 this year and looking for a massive lifestyle and inspirational change - want to get away from Sydney as soon as possible and relocate to Melbourne. A bit of background on me - I've been a multi disciplinary Artist since I was a child, with a main focus on Acting, Singing and Musicianship. Completed my tertiary education in Acting and I'm currently doing distance study in Electronic Sound Production and Indigenous Studies, to help expand my mind and teach me new skills. I love to read and learn, have solid conversations and a good laugh, share knowledge - books and artworks make up 70% of my earthly goods! A few of my interests include Reading, Playing Guitar, Socializing with friends on the weekend, Writing, Dancing, Acting, Cooking, Travel, Theatre, Music Production and Songwriting, Singing, Yoga and Martial Arts, Gaming (Xbox 360 - I have one to bring to the house and a load of games, if that's your thing too), binge watching Netflix or getting into some hardcore SBS on demand / ABC iview when I have free time, Photography and Art of all forms. Social justice, human/civil rights and equality are vital concepts to me. By no means a definitive list, but it gives you a bit of an idea. I'm friendly, respectful, fun, keep things in the house clean and am a weird balance of someone who likes to say hi and be social round the house when it suits people, but can also respect your space/privacy and like to enjoy my own when I'm feeling hermity too - hopefully you won't be the type to take it personally if i need some time out to myself. Not a precious princess about things and am really adverse to passive aggressive types - if you're not the sort of person that can just have a calm, upfront chat and nip it in the bud if I accidentally do anything to annoy you, then we probably won't enjoy living together. I'm a smoker, although more than happy to go outside if you're not, as this is most people's preference, I'm not obnoxious about it and respect people's needs. Constantly burning fragrant oils / candles and incense anyway and am very conscious of mutual space, nothing like coming home to a house that feels welcoming and smells divine. Not a huge party animal, though I do enjoy occasionally having people round sometimes - during the week I'm pretty chill (although, also not boring hey - totally not adverse to cracking some wine or beers while cooking / having a friend round when the mood strikes - I'm a pretty mean cook, double plus bonus!). Weekends are always easier for getting out and about or catching up with people. If this sounds like someone you wouldn't mind sharing space with, let me know. Thanks in advance mates, look forward to meeting some like minds - keen for a long-term place I can make a home, with cool, fuss-free housemate/s who like the sound of my listing. Looking to make the move ASAP soon as I find something. Let me know if you have any questions. Peace and Thanks, Amber
What's going on... I'm Mick, 30, I'm a social worker for northern health and like to keep fit and healthy. Vegan, all natural, no nasties! need a big backyard to grow my own food which ill happily share and might tryn make a few extra coins too! I enjoy footy, play locally for a team and enjoy going away and other fun stuff. I am into lots of music and enjoy listening to conscious vibes. I am clean and tidy and respectful. I am sociable and enjoy chit chat now and then on the contrary I also enjoy my privacy sometimes just in silence reading and studying. Clean, tidy, responsible, reliable, easy-going, warm company, intelligent and respectful. What more do you want? ;)
I'm a laid back Perth-born guy studying advertising at RMIT, and i'm looking (ideally) to get together with a few people and start a new share house, or possibly just a room in an existing house if the people are cool. I'm still pretty new to Melbourne and so i'd love to be living with people that will be down for beers or a good 2K/FIFA wager, and I'd be totally cool with you having mates over for drinks/small parties as long as you're not weird about me meeting them. So basically hit me up if you're a social guy/gal that isn't going to hide in their room all the time. I'm just going to dot-point stuff from here on out: - I'm a clean guy, but definitely not a neat freak, so your room can be a total pig-sty if you want, so long as common areas are kept presentable. - Couples okay - I don't own a car so Flemington and Kensington are appealing as they both have stores nearby and are also close to the CBD, but if you know of any other areas that are similar I'm definitely flexible. - I am a really sarcastic guy and constantly making jokes, but also love to have a lengthy debate over serious and interesting topics, so if those things don't appeal to you then i'm not your best option because they are the main pillars of my personality. - My cooking skills are seriously minimal (toast and spaghetti) - I'm on time with rent, and happy to split bills on anything extra in order to keep costs down. - Possibly okay if you have pets, but I would have to make sure my throat doesn't close up around them. (i'm a serious dog lover so being allergic is depressing as fkkkkk) - I'm not fussed about you bringing people home from bars/clubs so long as you flick me a text first so I have a chance to get out of your way. - I go to the gym, but i'm no bodybuilder, so I don't want you judging me when I pound down 2 pizzas alone. - I'm a diehard Crows fan, and a big follower of the NBA and Premier League, but I love to watch just about any sport. - I like to watch House of Cards, Game of Thrones, Suits, The Office, Friends re-runs, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and probably a bunch of other stuff I can't remember. - Oh and my favourite movie has been Titanic since i was 5 years old, I feel like that might be relevant somehow. - Other interests include; US Politics, Standup Comedy, Writing, Reading, Gaming (just basic stuff like sports games and the occasional shooter), Golf (i'm terrible at it but i enjoy a sunny day on the course), and drinking too much. That's pretty much it, I'm a good bloke to have around the house if you're not a super serious person, and i do my fair share to ensure harmonious living. If you're interested or if you have any questions please message me!
Born in Aus but grew up in England and backpacked around Aus the past 2 years. Now I'm looking for stability and routine for the next 6 months before uni starts (and potentially during uni as well). I'm a social and easy-going guy, but I'm not messy and don't rely on others for things when avoidable. I am big on music: love festivals, gigs and I play acoustic guitar. Also an avid cook, I'm a bit of a scientist so I like to experiment with flavours and see what mixes well with each other. Love geeking out to a board game or video. Considering getting into a martial art and/or ballroom or salsa dancing!
Hey! My names Manpreet, mostly go by as Mim, I'm a pharmacist by profession and graduate in October this year. I am moving down from NSW to Melbourne for a job offer in the CBD and am looking for a place which is close to work, Modern with good facilities and amazing house mates who are easy to get along with, female (preferably), outgoing and tidy. I'm someone who loves reading novels (have a small growing collection), binge watching Netflix to shows (occasionally), exploring Melbourne, having chilled quite nights, talking and having a great time from time to time. I'm allergic to dust so am used to being in clean and tidy environments, I love cooking and baking (expect some goodies) and am someone who you don't have to worry about being a issue :) I'm a easily approachable person so feel free to contact me if you're interested in sharing a apartment or teaming up to create a new home for us :)
Hi Everyone! A bit about myself: My name's Alexandra (Ali for short). I am 24 years old and I was born in America but raised in Birmingham, UK. I have recently moved to Melbourne for work as a business analyst at ANZ. I'm a very bubbly person, trustworthy, easy to get along with and tidy. I love to socialise whether it's going out for a drink or staying in to watch game of thrones. I'm a complete foodie and have been taught to cook from my amazing mum. Ideally I'm looking for people of a similar age or older, that enjoy occasionally hanging out after work with a bev or even sharing the odd meal. I'm flexible on contract durations, but nothing too short-term; I live in Melbourne permanently. Me: Easy going guy that laughs at pretty much everything and fancies himself a bit of a (wannabe), comedian. I work full-time in the city during the week and can usually be found in Brunswick, Fitzroy or the city in the evenings/weekend. I play the guitar, like to the socialise, train at the gym and watch a lot of movies. Get in touch if you're interested in buddying up or have a room going! Danke, Jed
