Both Haydn and myself are from Perth moving to Melbourne in pursuit of study and work experience. I, Mitch, am studying outdoor recreation full time and Haydn is a qualified chef so both of us are very outdoors and motivated people to stay with. We are very respectful towards our other house mates and easy to live with as our schedules allow only to be home night hours as our days will be filled with work or studying.
Hey there! I'm from Canada, and moving to Melbourne in January for exchange. Easy going, super social and looking for a short OR long term stay. For February, or February-June, depending on the place. Would prefer more than 2 roommates just to meet more people, in a good area to access ACU campus (or Uni of Melb) and CBD by tram fairly easily. I love animals, am LGBT + friendly and prefer house over an apartment. My lifestyle is mostly fun and healthy, but will still make time for my studies. Quite clean, but am easy going depending on roommates preferences. Might consider looking at places outside the neighbourhoods listed... Give me a shout with anything you have, or want to meet up for exploring or a beer when I'm in the city! Cheers Rach
Hey I'm Ali, I'm from the UK and i've been living and working in London for the past couple of years. I've just touched down in Melbourne and I'm on a working holiday but looking to get settled as quickly as possible. I'm an easy going, sociable guy who's up for a laugh and after one week here I'm loving the brunch, gin and the sun vibe this city has going on... keen to meet some new likeminded people :) Peace.
I'm moving to Melbourne to start university next year at VCA in Southbank, and am looking for any nice place to live. I'm somewhat introverted and quiet but easygoing and up for socialising, and I'm also easy to get along with. I am a photographer and love art, music, films, games, and pretty much anything creative. I'm also vegan and an animal lover, and great with pets.
Hi, we are two girls from Germany who just arrived in Melbourne one week ago. Right now we are staying at the nomads hostel but it is getting too expensive and we would like to move into a shareflat for the next weeks, especially for christmas and NYE! We want to share a flat as well as experiences, evenings or some drinks with you! We are both outgoing persons and hope to find something soon! 🤗🤗🤗🤗
I'm a relatively new person to Melbourne as I hail from WA originally. I've got a part time job with Coles to at least have money coming through the door, but ultimately I would like to start my career in IT as I've graduated from uni - back in WA - not too long ago and want to see something come out for it. I'm a very friendly guy, and believe that making a house a sanctuary is important for our health. Speaking of which I'm very dedicated to, going to the gym and eating right, I don't smoke, social drinker and I'm very open about mental health. I am a bit of a night owl but I understand fully well how important it is to have silence in the night to sleep. I am looking for a large room to fit a double bed, bedside tables, computer station, and preferrable BIR. Looking for a room that has both heating and cooling facilities available
HI! I'm leaving in Melbourne and I work in hospitality. My sweet boyfriend is coming to visit me for a month and we are looking a nice room to rent from the end of December to the 3rd of February 2017. We are coming from Rome and we do videos for commercials and cinema. We are nice and clean people! we like to socialize and we respect the privacy of all the flatmates :)
I'm going to be studying Health Sciences and Naturopathy, I am also a yoga instructor and a very laid back kind of person. I love all animals and get along with most people. I also love to cook and I think I'm pretty good at it. I have tattoos, I ride a motorcycle on nice days and I enjoy things like hiking, reading, card games. Of course I love getting together with mates to have a drink and hang out but I'll be in full on study mode all year so gatherings wont be frequent at home. I prefer to keep my home peaceful and am considerate of others personal space and privacy.
I will be starting my Master of Urban Planning and Environment and ideally I'm looking to live with like minded people. I prefer living in share houses with a social environment that involves communitarianism either routinely or from time to time. Ideally I would like to live with people who know how to enjoy themselves and take full advantage of living in Melbourne, but who also balance this with their studies/work. I'm a very relaxed guy, social and outgoing, my interests include, basketball, traveling, languages, skiing, going to gigs, cooking.

Hi, I'll be moving to Melbourne from sunny Singapore in Feb 2017, to pursue grad school at the University of Melbourne. I'm looking for a place to call home. Preferably a private room in a share house @ $250pw, min 6 months lease. Generally quite a private person who respects people's spaces, but also enjoys the occasional hang out with a good movie and a glass of wine~ Responsible, clean and tidy. Happy to pitch in with household chores to keep the place tidy :) Ok with dogs too :) I'm planning to move in 1 February 2017, send me message or email me if interested! Cheers, Ashley
Helllooo, Born in QLD, raised in VIC and lived in NSW. I have been everywhere man! I have literally just moved back to Melbourne from Sydney and am looking for fun and friendly place to live with people who enjoy to talk but also like their own space. Will be working in hospitality, with previous history working in 5 star function venues. I also love children, thus why I will be completing my Diploma in Early Child Education for the next 6 months. I am usually a busy bee, as there is always something to do. You would hear me talk about my (attempts at the) gym life, my love of coffee, books, movies and TV series. I have been told I am a very bubbly person who loves a good chat, laugh and sharing my food, but I also appreciate my own quiet time to read or study. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi there, I'm a 32 year old professional looking for a new place to stay! I work long hours but when I'm home I enjoy socialising but also enjoy the quiet times too. I like to hang out with friends, bars and pubs with some tunes, AFL (massive hawks fan) and go to the gym, cycle etc. I am a respectful, clean and considerate person and come from a 3 bedroom home, so have all furniture to utilise! I'm looking for someone who is similar in having a chat and a laugh, but also likes their downtime too. I have children, but they don't live with me. They generally stay one weekend per fortnight/month. Most of the time we aren't home and really come home to sleep and then up and about the next day. Can make alternate arrangements if required, but this has generally not been a problem in the past with housemates If you'd like to know any more, then let me know and I'll be happy to share!
Hey guys! I originally from from Adelaide but im moving to Melbourne to study in early Feb. I'm looking for a great bunch of people to set up with when I arrive. I'm a pretty relaxed guy and spend most of my time at uni, reading and catching up with mates for a few drinks. I'm keen to team up with an awesome group to create new sharehouse with plenty of laughs, great chats and dinners! I've lived out of home before so I'm pretty handy around the house and can be relied on. Message me if you're keen for a chat!
Hi I'm Adam, 27 enjoying a year long break from my career. I enjoy cooking and eating out and anything to do with food! I'm clean and tidy, I can't stand miserable moaners, I love to exercise and I try do that each day and I hope to see as much of Melbourne as I can inside of my year here! Hopefully, I can forge a sponsored career and stay beyond my 12 months. p.s. I'm the guy on the left :)
A little bit about me....so I'm 31 and arrived in Melbourne at the start of November. I visited here last year and totally fell in love with the city so wanted to live here longterm. I'm working as a Studio Manager for a design agency which is working out really well and just generally loving settling in! I'm looking to make friends as well as housemates so it's hugely important to me that I find the right fit. I'm pretty sociable yet sensible Monday to Friday and love quiet nights in, dinners, running and a casual glass of wine. On the weekend I like to let my hair down a little and go out for drinks and the odd night out or exploring the outdoors. Saying that though, I'm 31 and the nights out are becoming less and less so I definitely don't want to live in a party house. I'm chatty and sociable but also pretty independent. I'm incredibly tidy so living with non-likeminded people would be pretty stressful for me. I'd say the most important requirements of my new pad are good people, relaxed vibes, tidiness and a good location. I'd love to meet you and see if I'm the right fit for your home :)
Hello potential roommate! My name is Kyran, I've lived in Geelong for the last four years. I finished my bachelor in Architectural Technology this week and I'm looking to move back up to Melbourne now that I am done. Though I loathe the term, I am best defined as an entrepreneur. I'm starting up a retail power company. Other than that I fancy myself a bit of a chef. I'm into eating and living healthy. I practise martial arts, meditate and read. Comes fully house trained. I enjoy living in a clean house. That translates to things like; washing dishes nightly, packing up after finished, and general organisation. Other than that I've run a share house for the past 3 years. I am looking for a room big enough for a queen sized bed. I also use a fair bit of freezer space. I've got a few goodies that I would be bringing, all of which I'm happy to be communal. Things like a push button coffee machine, sous vide cooker, Olympic weights, fitness gear, and other bits and bobs. My ideal house mates are future friends. That tends to be people who are ambitious, enjoy a healthy lifestyle, and love a deep conversation.
Full-time, responsible dude who cleans after himself and takes pride in his home. I also value spending time with my family in the suburbs as well as with friends in the city, so you won't find a couch potato here. Like to get out and about in the city when possible, also happy to stay at home for a relaxing night after work. I want to build relationships with my future housemate/s, and find those things in common.

Hey , I am from California, 31 years young, and been living in Melbourne for 4 years. Looking for a friendly warm home with chilled wonderful people. I am into the outdoors, music, rock climbing, surfing and camping and the odd festival. The following would be some good indicators we would be a good match: - Flatmates that hang out a bit at home or outside on occasion - Kitchen is full of delicious smells and occasional dinner gatherings (I once opened an Outback Steakhouse in the middle of the desert, opened from 4am-7am serving sous-vide roo sliders) - House is not full of couch potatoes in front of the TV - Clean house with uncluttered common areas I design user experiences in health technology and have no problems paying rent on time and helping with any tech needs. In my free time I practice acupuncture/massage and design brass jewelry. Warm Regards Eric
Hey there! my name's Bianca. I'm a Tassie gal who is a uni graduate and I'm moving to the big smoke in late December/early January to do legal prac and then work as a baby lawyer. I have lived in share houses for 2 years now, and as a housemate I'm very chill, social, like to share the odd meal and have some banter in the house. At the same time, I'm good at respecting everyone's space and down time. I am clean, reliable, and always pay rent/bills on time. I'm not too keen on throwing ragers in the house every weekend but wouldn't say no to heading out for a few bevs. Other interests include wine and netflix, fashion and styling, pretending I'm on an episode of MasterChef and cooking up a storm in the kitchen, and keeping fit (or at least attempting to do so). As I will be new to the city I'll also be out exploring a lot when I'm not working. If I'm the type of housemate you're looking for, feel free to hit me up! x
I would describe myself as friendly, calm, patient, clean and organised. I moved from France a bit more than a year ago and have been working as a software engineer in Collingwood since. My weekends are usually spent wandering in the wild doing photography or scuba-diving. I also recently got into skydiving, which means you might have a chance to suddenly inherit all my belongings!
Hi my names Reid I have recently moved from Brisbane to work in Melbourne. I'm great to live with because I am a very respectful and clean person. I also like to think I'm very friendly and communicative. The past 2 years I have been living in the Inner city of Brisbane paying 1000 dollars a month rent so I am very capable of paying my share. I also work full time.
I'm a student that has recently moved to Melbourne as I have just found a new exciting permanent job in hospitality within the CBD and want to explore all that Melbourne has to offer. Also, I am reliable with payments of expenses and will be someone to count on in regards to the rent!

JUST MADE THE MOVE TO MELBOURNE ON NOVEMBER 4TH! I'm a 31-year-old female from the beautiful town of Telluride, Colorado! I am here on a Working Holiday Visa because I want to learn all about coffee, the Australian way. I work as a head barista and ran a couple of my own small businesses back in Colorado. I am extremely fun to be around (very sociable), but I also am very understanding and considerate. My friends call me "Mom" because I take care of everyone. I am clean and dependable (I always pay rent way before it's due). I like to go out, have quieter nights in, but don't mind the occasional dinner parties (I love to cook heaps)! I love traveling and getting to know others from different cultures, so I am very excited to meet more Aussies! I used to live in Wellington, New Zealand, so it makes sense that I should make Melbourne my next home! I am open to any housing situation, including subletting, but I prefer to have my own room.
What makes me great? I'm from the UK? No, it's definitely not that. I am a chef, maybe? I am very into all sports from football, rugby, tennis, even Neil Robertson is my favourite snooker player. I am coming over on a working holiday visa and looking start a new life in Melbourne. Looking to find a chef job and get a permanent visa to extend my stay. I am a sociable person, I like going to games, gigs, cinema, a bit a shopping every now and again. Despite my age, I like to go out for cocktails every now and again too. I also like to bake for people, surprisingly. So there will always be cake around. I am quite OCD but not to the point where I clean the toilet a certain way haha. A tidy room is a tidy mind in my eyes. Another questions, please ask.

I'm studying Media and Communications at Latrobe University and working around 4 times a week at a restaurant/bar in Preston. I'm looking for a queer friendly place, I have a girlfriend that you will see very often! I'm looking for not only a house but a family home. I would like to live with lovely people who are social and keen to hang out/cook dinners/drink beers, however respectful of privacy and downtime. In my spare time I'll be out in the sunshine, riding my bike, hanging out with friends, etc etc. I'm tidy but not a freak. I like plants, listening to records, drinking coffee, reading and watching occasional shitty reality TV. I would either be keen on starting up a shade house or moving into one. I'd love to meet you! Love, Jacinta. X
