Hi all, Im a 22 year old registered nurse, I'm a shift worker, working a rotating roster. Rarely on nights, very considerate when getting up at odd times and aware the sucky schedule doesn't suit all. So ideally other nurses/healthcare professionals or shift workers may work better :) Outside of work, i love keeping fit and enjoy the gym as a little outlet, always keen for a spontaneous trip away and love cheap adventures. Love travel, so super interested to hear stories if thats what your into as well. I love a social glass of wine occasionally, but I'm not a big drinker and not interested in party house. Im looking for a home where we can be social, but also respect each others personal space. Lover of dogs, allergic to cats :( Happy to answer any questions thrown my way Hola if your interested in a team up. J
A little about me, I moved over from Perth in January and am just working in hospitality while i work out what to do with life. All my current housemates are moving in with their partners so here i am! In need of some new buddies~ Preferably looking for a house with only one or two others. I clean up after myself and generally keep to myself but Id love to make friends with my housemates and watch some quality Netflix junk I occasionally have friends from perth visit, so i hope that won't be a problem Shoot us a message as Im in need of a place within two weeks! preferably long term as i don't want to have to move again!
I am a Patient Transport Officer (non-emergency Ambulance Officer) and am seeking 'granny flat' accommodation. I moved down from Queensland 1 year ago and have been sharing with others up until now. A 57 yo divorced 'gentleman' who has been a home owner in the past and is clean living, quiet and respectful. Dogs seem to love me too as they are true judges of character ;) I also require the Internet.
Hey everyone, my name's Amber. Turned 30 this year and looking for a massive lifestyle and inspirational change - want to get away from Sydney as soon as possible and relocate to Melbourne. A bit of background on me - I've been a multi disciplinary Artist since I was a child, with a main focus on Acting, Singing and Musicianship. Completed my tertiary education in Acting and I'm currently doing distance study in Electronic Sound Production and Indigenous Studies, to help expand my mind and teach me new skills. I love to read and learn, have solid conversations and a good laugh, share knowledge - books and artworks make up 70% of my earthly goods! A few of my interests include Reading, Playing Guitar, Socializing with friends on the weekend, Writing, Dancing, Acting, Cooking, Travel, Theatre, Music Production and Songwriting, Singing, Yoga and Martial Arts, Gaming (Xbox 360 - I have one to bring to the house and a load of games, if that's your thing too), binge watching Netflix or getting into some hardcore SBS on demand / ABC iview when I have free time, Photography and Art of all forms. Social justice, human/civil rights and equality are vital concepts to me. By no means a definitive list, but it gives you a bit of an idea. I'm friendly, respectful, fun, keep things in the house clean and am a weird balance of someone who likes to say hi and be social round the house when it suits people, but can also respect your space/privacy and like to enjoy my own when I'm feeling hermity too - hopefully you won't be the type to take it personally if i need some time out to myself. Not a precious princess about things and am really adverse to passive aggressive types - if you're not the sort of person that can just have a calm, upfront chat and nip it in the bud if I accidentally do anything to annoy you, then we probably won't enjoy living together. I'm a smoker, although more than happy to go outside if you're not, as this is most people's preference, I'm not obnoxious about it and respect people's needs. Constantly burning fragrant oils / candles and incense anyway and am very conscious of mutual space, nothing like coming home to a house that feels welcoming and smells divine. Not a huge party animal, though I do enjoy occasionally having people round sometimes - during the week I'm pretty chill (although, also not boring hey - totally not adverse to cracking some wine or beers while cooking / having a friend round when the mood strikes - I'm a pretty mean cook, double plus bonus!). Weekends are always easier for getting out and about or catching up with people. If this sounds like someone you wouldn't mind sharing space with, let me know. Thanks in advance mates, look forward to meeting some like minds - keen for a long-term place I can make a home, with cool, fuss-free housemate/s who like the sound of my listing. Looking to make the move ASAP soon as I find something. Let me know if you have any questions. Peace and Thanks, Amber
Hi! I am from India and new to the city. I will start my studies at Deakin university this November! I'm friendly, cleanliness freak and an average cook. Looking for a place to share with like minded people!
Hey! My names Manpreet, mostly go by as Mim, I'm a pharmacist by profession and graduate in October this year. I am moving down from NSW to Melbourne for a job offer in the CBD and am looking for a place which is close to work, Modern with good facilities and amazing house mates who are easy to get along with, female (preferably), outgoing and tidy. I'm someone who loves reading novels (have a small growing collection), binge watching Netflix to shows (occasionally), exploring Melbourne, having chilled quite nights, talking and having a great time from time to time. I'm allergic to dust so am used to being in clean and tidy environments, I love cooking and baking (expect some goodies) and am someone who you don't have to worry about being a issue :) I'm a easily approachable person so feel free to contact me if you're interested in sharing a apartment or teaming up to create a new home for us :)
Quiet and independent 29 year old male. Former primary school teacher, and now working in the higher education sector. Moving from Wollongong to start a new job at Monash :) Looking to share with some friendly folks - I arrive in Melbourne 4 November. Pretty laid back, but am clean and tidy. Not too big on parties, but always happy for the odd get together.
Hello, My names Sam and my partners name is Sava. Our cats name is Simba and he is cute and cuddly. We're a young couple expecting a baby. Looking for a place to stay and create a home base. Sava is at uni studying engineering and I am a teacher. Expecting a baby in 5 months so would only be suitable in a house with a lot of privacy. The bubs will obviously cry sometimes.. Don't want to keep the owners up at night by living in the room next door! Granny flats or seperate story living would be ideal. We are generally working, studying or at home cooking up a storm, eating and watching movies. We both love health food and long walks at the park! Sam and Sava
I am fairly quiet and don't like encroaching on other people's space. Although I'm currently unemployed, I will be looking for a job once I relocate (there aren't any job opportunities where I currently live). I'm a bit of a nerd and have a passion for science, the environment, and art. Some of my hobbies are photography, painting, and guerilla floristry. I also really enjoy baking cakes, biscuits, and slices (and can make a mean single serve chocolate souffle). I have been living in a tiny country town with few services or resources for the past few years, so am really looking forward to moving out as soon as I can. I don't drive, so would prefer to live somewhere close to public transport. My ideal home would have a bedroom big enough to fit my vintage queen sized Burgess headboard + bedside tables in, and to have a bathroom with an actual bath in it (hip baths don't count!). I haven't been able to own any pets besides my cockatiel where I've been living, and would dearly love to get another cat to keep me company.
Hey, We are a couple who came from the other side of the globe and have just started our Australian adventure with work and holiday visa. We both working in the advertising industry and intend to stay here in Australia for a few years. Currently, we are looking for permanent job opportunities and we have income from freelance projects. We like cooking and British indie bands, and always keep our space clean and tidy. We don't have great expectations, a nice cosy place would do for the time being :) cheers
Hi! My name is Lauren and I'm looking for a nice room for October onward. I'm a relaxed, fun loving person and very social. I'm respectful of personal space and clean and tidy. I make a mean Sunday roast and piña coladas. Originally from NSW, studying my master in Physiotherapy and working at a pub. I love sports, the outdoors, getting together with friends and a good night out. I look forward to meeting potential housemates and hopefully making life long friends in the process:))) I'm also allergic to cats. So cat free households are a must haha Inspecting a place in Hawthorn East this coming Saturday (23/9) if interested shoot me a message
Hi, I"m Lydia 27.I'm looking for a room in a place. I have been living with my family in Goulburn NSW for the past 2 years but am now looking for something in Melbourne. As I am from interstate I am currently just looking for a temporary/flexible place to stay in, while I look for something more permanent. I"m a quiet sort of person that likes to have their own space but also likes to have a chat. My interest and hobbies include photography, art and reading. I am currently looking for work, so a place with internet would be good but not essential. This will not be the first time that I have lived out of home, so I can provide rental references if needed. I am looking to move in from the 1st November onwards. If you feel that I would make a good housemate feel free to message.
Pretty ace housemate if I don't say so myself. I like to keep things clean and tidy, but am not a cleaning nazi. I'm very respectful, courteous and most importantly fun. I'm not moody, have no allergies, or things I can or cannot eat. I love to share the cooking, and the couch. I play lots of sport, including baseball on a regular basis (also a big NHL and AFL fan). In my spare time I like to catch up with mates, watch tv n movies, play games, and go on adventures. I work regular 9-5 hours in the city. Looking for long term place, with someone who is fun, friendly and respectful. Would like to be walking distance to train station (less than 20 min walk). 2-3 bedroom places preferred. I've got mostly bedroom stuff, but also a few kitchen things. Looking for a big bedroom.
Hi there, My name is Nana. I'm from China, have been studying and working in Melbourne for 2 years. I'm currently at the last trimester of my master degree for accounting, will graduate in late October this year. I work as a part time accountant and got another part time job in the city as well. I will stay in Melbourne after graduation. I'm looking for a place that close to the train station so I have easy access to city. A room in a all female two bedrooms flat will be ideal, but open for other options. Prefer a furnished room, but if the room is unfurnished is OK too. My moving date is flexible. I'm easy going, friendly, generally pretty quiet but also enjoy being social. I like Yoga, swimming, running and enjoy cooking. I’m used to share houses, lived in current place for 2ys and my flatmate and I became very good friends, so I have good understanding of different culture, I'm respectful and responsible. I'm a non-smoker, like to keep the place tidy and clean. Looking after the property, treat it not just as a room but also nice and cosy like home. That's pretty much all I can think of for now. If you have a room or whole property available, please feel free to contact me. Looking forward to hearing from you. Warm regards, Nana
