Hi, I'm Quentin, 23 years old from France. I arrived in Melbourne on Monday night and I just started an internship to validate my Master's degree at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research near the Royal Melbourne Hospital. I am looking for an accommodation available ASAP for a period of 6-7 months. I am paid and I also received a French scholarship for my internship, so I will have no problem paying my rent on time. Since my 18 years I do house/flatsharing, so I am more than accustomed. During this period, I crossed many people from different countries not any Australian yet ! Sociable by nature, I know how to adapt to the characters of my roommates, I do my share of household tasks and I am a real cordon bleu ! Even if we separate our food, I often cook or do pastries to pass the time. You could have your share ! I will also be delighted to start a discussion about a beer or a glass of wine either outside or at home. I think I'm never short of discussion, this is surely my French side! Cheers, Quentin.
Hi i'm currently looking to move into a place with someone or happy to team up with someone. I'm neat and tidy and a non smoker. I'm social but also like my own time. Looking for a place preferably furnished with my own bathroom :)

Moving to Melbourne from Canberra in the next two weeks for a career change. Full time professional working in the CBD. Would love to find a place as close to the CBD within my price range as possible. Am easy going, fairly quiet but also enjoy conversation over dinner. Ideally looking for two bedroom two bathroom apartment share.
I'm from the UK and have been travelling in Australia on a working holiday visa since January. I'm now looking to work in Melbourne for 2-4 months. My field of work is in education administration and I am looking to get an administration job in Melbourne. My main interests are sport, in particular tennis, and going to see live music. I'd describe myself as a very tidy and laid back person and I'm looking to find a nice private room somewhere fairly central in Melbourne.

A young guy who ran off to Melbourne on a gap year. Just trying to find a relaxed, social house to explore the city from and meet some awesome people. About myself, originally from New Zealand but grew up in 3 different countries. I sketch, cook and write as hobbies, enjoy a good gig and night out, but also appreciate some quiet times in the house. Oh, and I don't have a phone right now, so either email or message me.Thanks
Hi guys! My name’s Amanda and I’m transferring to the University of Melbourne to complete a bachelors in Media & Communications. I used to study in Montreal, Canada, and before that, grew up in Washington, DC., USA. I'm looking for a place in North Melbourne or close to the CBD. I've lived in a couple places already and have been always good with paying rent/bills on time. I’m 20 years old, and would like roommates around their early-to-mid 20’s. My maximum is around $250 p/w, some more if I really love the place. My interests include social justice, high fashion, foreign film, and all kinds of music. I'm extroverted and not much of a homebody, so I'm usually out of the house. I love going to art showcases and night clubs. I'm a really sociable person who talks quite a bit, but also good with understanding personal space.
I am a 28 year old guy from Amsterdam who quit his job after working 8 years full time as a young professional in Telecommunications. I did this because I realized my current life situation was not going to make me happy in the end. I've recently arrived in Melbourne and I noticed I really love it here. That's why I'm looking for a place to call home for a longer period. I'm also looking for work so I probably will be working full time or at least as much as possible. People appreciate me because of my positive, outgoing and happy attitude. I would describe myself as the 'just trying to be happy kinda guy'. I don't take life too seriously, I just try to make the best out of every moment. I'm sociable, reliable, friendly, considerate and trustworthy. I'm a vegetarian and a smoker (but can smoke outside), I love beers and I am a music lover in general (would love to learn to play any instrument!). Other things I appreciate: food & cooking, traveling, sustainable living, serious conversations, coffee, yoga, spirituality and the smell of washing powder. Ideally I'm seeking for a chilled out, homely and cosy place with a 'small-community' feeling to call home in area's like Fitzroy, Coburg, Brunswick, Northcote, Richmond, Collingwood, St. Kilda, Windsor or surrounding area's. BUT, I'm really flexible so if you have a room somewhere else, please let me know as well! At the moment I don't have a place to live so I would rather move in yesterday then tomorrow :) So if you are looking for an awesome housemate, don't hesitate to contact me right away so we could arrange a chat in real life soon (that probably gives a way better impression of myself then this story)
I am a student at Unimelb, major in Linguistics and Philosophy. I am usually very busy with my assignments but I still try my best to have some fun hahaha and I'd love to chat with my roommates : ) A little more about me : ) • vegetarian • don't drink / smoke (but I'm ok with it even if you do) • I enjoy cleaning👻 • Maximum 6 months (going on an exchange from September) Move date : before March/10 Looking forward to hearing from you so we can organise a time☺️
I work full time at Melbourne uni (and study part time there too). I can be bubbly and social, but not in an annoying overbearing way and know when to give people their space. I'm respectful and quiet, chill and I reckon I'm pretty easy to get along with. I look forward to hearing from you!
Looking to move ASAP! Heeyy my name is Melissa, 21, English but has lived in Australia half of my life. Been living in Noosa Queensland but looking for a new experience in the city! Very down to earth and friendly, I'm very adaptable and get along with everyone! Im pretty social and love to have drink dates and lunch dates, or going out to gigs. Enjoy my own alone time too to and I've been told im the easiest person to live with hahah. Love nothing more than chilling and listening to good music with even better people. Im very clean and I love beach chills and cooking; Will happily make dinner for my housemates a couple of nights a week if you're into that ha. Been working in hospitality in Noosa for a few years now and I will be doing similar work in Melbourne.
Hi, my name is Jay. I currently reside in Canberra but I am hoping to make the move to Melbourne in the coming months. A bit about myself: 28, single. I am a great person to share with! This is because I've house shared before and I've been through the usual trials and tribulations that present themselves in all house sharing situations. With that experience, I have come out on the other side unscathed and with a respect for others and their personal space. I work full-time Mon - Fri and usually spend my weekends exploring, attempting to get fit at the gym, countering the gym with greasy takeaway food, naps, PlayStation and bar and event hopping in hopes of meeting new and interesting people. What I am looking for: I am looking for a private room in a share house with 1 to 2 other housemates. However, if you would like to consider me for a team-up I'm open to that! I am hoping to find others who are respectful, clean and great to live with. Age, sexual orientation, gender and the like are no concerns for me. Just be yourself and we will probably get along! So with that said if you are seeking somebody who pays their share of the rent and bills on time, who isn't argumentive and loves escalating a joke beyond its limits then I'm your guy!
Nina & Kate met in Guatemala back in November and were planning to conquer this exotic side of the world anyway, so re-joined forces a few weeks ago and decided they wanted to try the Melbourne thing for a bit (while it's still hot-ish!) Nina is a plant lover, chef & yogini from The Netherlands, but has spent the last 8 years living in the UK/London. She has spent much time bouncing around different countries, but always returning to London; not any more, as she got rid of all her belongings and headed for South America last October, trying all the food and documenting everything through photos and writing. Kate is an aspiring writer, 40s fiend & rap lover from Toronto and has previously lived in Australia, but wants to live out her dream of working in a bookshop as a temporary (possibly permanent!) Melbournite. She also needed that extra push and sold all her beloved furniture to journey in to the unknown. Both ladies agree that - No plan is the best plan Wine is always an option Whatever you manifest internally is exuded externally Ned Kelly was a babe & both aren't a huge fan of - Techno Eating badly Self absorbed humans Negative vibes
My name is Ben Gunn and I am a 22 y/o recent graduate from the University of Canterbury in NZ. I'm moving to Melbourne on March 8 for a change of scenery, work and to meet new people. I have been flatting for the past 4 years while at uni so I know how to keep a place spotless, respect other peoples boundaries, while also having a good time! I love sports (rugby, cricket, basketball etc) and play a bit of cricket and basketball when possible. I do a bit of gaming on ps4, but don't spend countless hours on it! I enjoy a beer or six every now and then, and always like exploring new places. I am also into learning about the world around me, as I think it is important in today's day and age to have an open mind! You will have to excuse my facebook link, I was using my girlfriends computer and it linked her profile, not mine sorry!
I am French and 30 years old, clean and tidy. I like to practice meditation, enjoying finer things of life, having a glass of wine... and sharing my favorite chocolate cake! I like to have a balance between my own space and sharing sometimes diner. I play guitar and like reading and photography. I would love to have a sewing machine at home! I am very open-minded and flexible and like to meet new people.
Hi there! I'm Rieneke, dutch girl from Amsterdam who just moved here for a PhD at the University of Melbourne, so I'm looking for a nice place to live in Melbourne! About me..I studied geology in Amsterdam and Innsbruck (Austria), now ready to start a PhD in climate research, which luckily enough it became a passion. I also love outdoor, music, salsa dancing, reading, dogs, photography and of course the social stuff. Love to cook, also for roommates. ;) I'm looking for a roommate (or two or three) to share a place with, I'm also open to teamups. I'm easygoing, in for a chat or a drink, I'm clean (although there's nothing wrong with a stain of life happening) and I pay my bills. ;) Cheers, Rieneke
We are couple from Hong Kong and Taiwan, both of us are students now. We have been in Australia for at least 3 years. After finishing our 2-year Working Holiday visa, we decided to stay here to learn English and more about Australia. We are both easy-going and love to make new friends. We also love sports, camping and cooking.
Friendly, cheerful guy who is respectful of people's privacy and will contribute to the house. Studying for a year at Melbourne University. I'm happy to kick back with a few beers on weekends, I play tennis and soccer at uni, and enjoy jamming on the guitar and piano.
Hello. I am currently living in a shared household but the lease is finishing and flat mate's moving on. I am a manager in corporate catering, working long hours during weekdays. I occasionally work on weekend but when not working I enjoy hiking, rock climbing, movie or hanging out with friends. I wish to live in a friendly and peaceful environment with sharemate. I am easy going, have love for eminals ( sorry but no raptiles or insect ), happy to have a drink and a chat. I would like to live in a clean and tidy home and share with somebody who is mature and offers mutual respect. Thanks and look forward to meeting you.
**Not available to move until the beginning of April** Im 30, just moved to Melbourne from London. Working full time in hospitality, on the Southbank. I'm looking for a forever home as I will be getting sponsored to work and live here. I'm very respectful, clean and tidy. I love to cook and my main passion is baking, so if you love cakes I'm your girl! Subletting until April 7th, so looking for something permenant from then!
We are a married couple who'll be moving to Melbourne towards the end of March 2017. We have a 4 year old daughter who goes to school. I am a chartered accountant, my husband is an ex-army officer and currently a musician. We like to party and live life to the fullest. We go kayaking, mountaineering and hiking together which makes us an adventurous and fun-loving couple. Other than that, we are a young; very easy-going couple who gel in with people quite easily. We like to lead a routine life that starts with a 5 a.m. jog/ gym and ends at 10 pm except for weekends.

Hi, I'm Lucy and I've just moved from Far North Queensland to Melbourne for a new job, so I need somewhere to live! I'm happy staying in and watching movies or going out on an adventure. I'm happy to hang out, but also respectful of space. I'd like to be friends with my housemates so I'd be keen to catch up over dinner. If you have pets that's okay with me because I love animals. Please feel free to message me if you think you might have a place for me!
Hello! I'm Stefani, i'm 30. I grew up in Sydney. Recently moved back to Australia after three years living in Europe. I'm about to start full-time work for the Vic government in the city so i'm principally looking for a house or flat in the north melbs area but also very open to other areas for the right house. I'm looking for an established share house, with friendly and respectful flatmates. I enjoy having a beer or fortnightly house dinner with my flatmates if that's what everyone is into, i'm usually a fairly busy person so probably won't be spending too much time at home. I'm pretty easy going on the whole but I do prefer to live in a clean space. On more of a personal note, I love swimming, politics, french cinema and reading the classics. Also absolutely adore dogs so very open to a pup in the house if you've already got one. I've been living in sharehouses on and off for the past twelve years so I'm very respectful of property/neighbours, and i'm a reliable, considerate and respectful person who likes the calmer side of life. I'm free to come by to meet you and see the room whenever it suits so please feel free to get in touch by email. Cheers, Stefani
I love brunching, watching live music, cheese and wine nights, and travelling! I have all furniture, appliances etc. required to start a new place (and an extra queen bed if needed) Ideally need to find a place before 15 March when I will be moving out of my current apartment. I work full time in the city so would be great to find somewhere to live either walking distance or close to public transport - open to suggestions for different areas. I'm originally from Queensland so would prefer housemates who also want to be friends!
Hi there! I have spent last two years travelling in Australia and few Asian countries, I decided to go back to study (nursing), so I'm a full time student and part-time worker (health). I'm very easygoing and tidy Italian guy looking for decent place (6 to 12 months..) and great people to have a chat with if wanted, but mindful of others space. I lived with a vast variety of different people from different countries, I like to respect others beliefs and lifestyles as I like to be respected for what I am. I shared houses for quite long time, I love music (I love buy my records), cinema and cooking, I eat everything, but I'm practically vegetarian, I lived with vegetarians and we often eat and cook together, I generally cook my stuff though. I like wines and try new beers, I find Australian handcrafted one pretty good! At moment I don't have a tremendous budget for living (but I'm always in time with bills) and finding a place cheap or with expenses included would be awesome! If you feel like, say Hi;))
Hey! I'm looking for a comfy place for long term stay. 24 from İstanbul. I will study master of engineering at Rmit. I'm easygoing and friendly, always up for sharing a dinner or drink. Heyhey 🙂 I previously lived in Melbourne for a year and am now moving back on the 8th of march to study here after about a year and a half of traveling. I'm swedish, almost 22 and I'll be working in hospitality(barista) as well as studying. On my free time I play guitar, sketch and paint, make crystal pendants and a bunch of good stuff. I like to laugh and I also make jokes sometimes. I'm a very social person and am also used to living with other people, meaning I love a good chat and bev but also respect other peoples space and will of course be respectful of shared living areas. I enjoy going out for drinks and a boogie but can also spend a full night watching stupid shows in bed. I'm pet free, neat and will be staying in Melbourne for at least two years. I'm looking for a place to call home, meaning I'd love to live with like minded people who don't mind hanging out now and then. Please feel free to shoot me a message if I sound like a person you'd like to live with. ✌
Israeli with aussie citizinship, currently living with my brother, working in editing in TV, I am very chill and adaptable, just trying to slowly build a life here in melbourne. would like to find a place where I can have my privacy but also have people around to talk to which could be nice. yeah that sounds about right :)
Very tidy and self sufficient. I'm used to living alone and taking care of myself, and don't need to be reminded to clean up. I'm mostly pretty quiet and introverted, but enjoy a casual, friendly vibe at home. I'm not currently working, as on disability. I have 2 young indoor-only cats that are very friendly. I don't entertain much, my ideal night is relaxing at home with my cats, eating a pizza and watching a movie.
Hey I'm Dan, 22, full time employed in financial services, laid back, gay, pretty extraverted. I'm relatively new to Melbourne and looking to move near the CBD. Would love to find one or more cool housmates. I like Great food, beer, wine & whisky and I'm told I'm excellent company to binge watch nextflix and drink cheap wine with. If your a fan of Doctor Who, Game of Thrones or South Park that's already a great start. I'm pretty chilled out, like to keep a clean place. I don't have any gender or cultural preferences on who I live with, as long as your friendly and good company I'm we will get along great. Also somewhere with a car park would be great.
Im a barista and graphic designer. I'm respectful, easy going, clean and tidy. I always pick up after myself and I cook some mean food! I'm a pretty chilled vegan and can cook wicked meat dishes too! I enjoy my own space but don't mind a beer and a boogie here and there :)
My name is Teresa, I am from Germany originally and have been living in Australia since March last year. I`m looking for some lovely people to live with who don`t mind doing things together occasionally as a household, and would enjoy going out for a beer or watching a movie together. That being said I love to have time to myself, watching a movie or reading. So having some alone time is important as well. I`m house trained and have lots of share house experience. I`m Vegetarian (trying to be as vegan as possible), but I don`t wave flags about it. LGBT friendly, pet friendly. I`m big into movies, coffee and art as well as road trips and exploring. Please feel free to contact me!
Hi potential future-flatmates!! I'm from Hobart, Tasmania, and I've just moved to Melbourne for university (UniMelb), so I'm hoping to find a place in that area somewhere. I play hockey and I also do a bit of orienteering (bonus points if you don't have to google 'what is orienteering'), and I've got a bike to get from A to B. That makes me sound quite a bit more energetic than I am, but I do have my lazy moments (trust me). Also, if you want a pub-buddy, then look no further! Say 'beer' or 'wine' or 'alcohol' and I'll be there with bells on. Same goes for coffee. I hope that I'm easy to live with, I do chores and I generally clean up after myself. I listen to music a lot, especially when I'm studying, but if you don't like that then thats why I've got headphones. I don't mind moving into a non-furnished place, but if its furnished, then, well, what a bonus. I don't smoke, I love animals, I'm not a morning person, and I eat almost continuously (but don't worry, I wont eat your food). I like sitting down for a Netflix marathon, and also occasionally having house dinners. I've ticked 'working part-time' because hopefully I will have a casual hospo job by then (anyone know of one going..?) but I am currently unemployed, unfortunately. Also flexible with moving in dates and preferred length of stay. Hopefully my rambling has convinced you that I'd be a cool person to live with! If you think so just give me a yell and we can meet up!!
Hi! My name is Patrick and I'm a 27 year german from Berlin. I arrived in Melbourne at the beginning of Feb and working since then full time (weekdays 9 to 6ish) for Foodora (this pink food delivery company) as a Key Account Manager. I’m social, active, respectful and an all round great guy :) I like to spend my free time going to events around the city, in the gym, hanging out with friends, watching movies and etc. But I´m always ready to try new activities! For example, spotting weird animals has been my new hobby in Australia. I have plenty of experience sharing apartments and can appreciate a nice community as well as privacy. I'm also responsible, clean and reliable - just a classic german ;) I'm happy to do my bit around the house and will take care of the rent and bills without a hassle. Not too interested in a party house, but a friendly and easy-going share-house environment. Feel free to contact me if you have a spare room that I might be interested :)
Hi there :) I'm a 21 year old medical student who would love to find a female flat mate to share a house with. I'm a super friendly one who u could not get bored with in spare times. Hello! I am a 24-year-old female from San Francisco, CA studying Communications and Media Studies at Swinburne for a semester. I also work part-time and am extremely responsible financially! I am often inspired and a lover of all things creative: dancing, music, graphic design, fine arts, and food! Whether it's a mom and pop shop, hole-in-the-wall eatery, cafe or bar, I love to explore new places (which is why I'm here in Melbourne!). I'm a friendly and considerate roommate and always prefer clean environments where I stay. I would love to discuss further details about a space to stay at during my time in the beautiful city of Melbourne!
My name is Rachel, I'm 28 years old and from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I just finished my PhD on leukemia research in Amsterdam and I will continue working on that topic at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute as a Postdoctoral fellow. I'm a social person, and when I'm not working, I have dinner parties with friends, go to nice restaurants/bars/gigs or other nice things Amsterdam has to offer. I really love doing yoga to relax or spend a night at home just watching Netflix.
Hello fellow housemates. I'm a happy, positive and easy going sort, I enjoy living a healthy lifestyle, I LOVE cooking with fresh produce and exercising whenever I get the chance. I'm working full-time in childcare and studying my Diploma of Early childhood by distance, so during the week I'm quite busy and tired and will most likely spend time on my computer studying ( although I am easily distracted). On the weekends I try not to take life too seriously, I like to meet new people/experience new things, love the outdoors and adventuring, eating out, eating in, enjoy meeting with friends/family, love live music and although rarely drink enjoy a night out and a cheeky bev. In terms of living I am very clean and would benefit housing with similar minded/mature people who respect each other's privacy but all get along well and are generally happy people (:
I'm a mid-twenties happyfat queer girl working in early childhood, with a BSc and the occasional open mic or gig at Hares & Hyenas and the like. I love singing, baths, netflix, independent theatre, great food, referencing memes in real life, reading, and basically having a lot of feelings about everything. Not a party animal usually, but a late-night rambling chat is my jam! I may come with a lizard, mostly confined to her tank, but TBC. Pet friendly, especially if they're snuggly! I'm not a neat freak, but I'm house trained and a decent cook! Communal meals are very highly rated and while I need my recharge time, I like enjoying the company of the people I live with! You can always share my chips. I like scrubbing showers but haven't got the hang of gardening, and maybe I talk too much about the cool stuff the babies do at work, but all over I am made of love and I'm keen to find some new people.
Hellooo I have just moved to Melbourne last week from Byron Bay, I'm originally from Perth, Western Australia. I've come over here on a whim, I've scored some waitressing work and I'm planning on studying herbal medicine 💚💚 I enjoy creating a harmonious environment within the home. I pride myself on keeping a nice and clean space that always feels fresh. I love having lots of plants in and around the house. I love cooking and sharing meals socially. I am very open, approachable and naturally caring.
3 friends; sociable, friendly, reliable. Looking for a place to rent together. Happy to team up with others but ideally maximum 4 people in total.
Zest for life, can also teach you some sweet as Latin dance moves! I work 5 days a week but free on weekends and in the evenings for social events and you guessed it, salsa dancing. Looking for good company and open minded people to share some fun experiences with!

G'day! I am Bram (25 yo) from The Netherlands. My story in short: After finishing my Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering followed by a working year, I found it too obvious and not adventurous enough to continue my working career in The Netherlands. Let's try 17,000 kilometers beyond: Straya! During my studies the past 7 years I have always lived in social shared student houses in both The Netherlands and the US (did a part of my degree in the US). I really like the social thing about living together: hanging around, have some beers, nonsense talking, sharing your irritations of that day with dinner, etc. Hence, I would prefer to live in a social vibrant shared house. I am entering Australia on a working holiday visa, however my goal is to stay here for a couple years and find a sponsorship for an engineering job. Although I know everyone is describing themselves with the same keywords I am still gonna do it ;). I am easy going, I feel myself most comfortable in social surroundings, I have a work to live mentality and I have a lot of diverse interests. About my interests: I am a football addict, the round ball version to be clear. Furthermore, I like music. I play saxophone myself and I often go to music festivals. Hooroo!
Friendly, healthy living. Likes to keep things clean and looking nice. Respect others space and privacy. I have goals I'm working toward so I'll be very active and focused on my activities. Things i like; Yoga Aerial Silks Fire Dancing Contemporary Dance Hula Hooping Gardening Nature Sewing Creating Costumes / acts / performances Dancing Healthy food Having meaningful conversations Making good connections and friends
François and I are clean, fun, we love talking and meeting new people, but we can be very quiet if you need some "space". We love reading, François loves writing, learning new languages, I love cooking and baking!! We are in Australia since 5 months and we want to come in Melbourne to discover this city , meeting new nice people and working to save some money and continue our trip!!
Hi, my names Keogh. I am easy going, respectful of other peoples space, yet sociable & like to be around other people when at home. I am tidy, will ensure my rent is paid on time and am happy to cook together as a house if thats something you would be interested in. I am starting this week at Melbourne UNI doing Commerce & need somewhere ASAP to move in. I enjoy skating, diving (snorkelling), work on weekends at a local cafe, am just starting to get into photography, and of course enjoy spending time with friends. I am available anytime on my mobile if you have any questions. Thanks.
Hello potential housemates. My name is Jacqui, I am 27 years old and I'm a nurse at St Vincent's Hospital. I work a variety of shifts each week, which means i am sometimes not home a lot. In my free time, i enjoy keeping active which sees me at the gym or walking regularly, i like spending time with friends, going away on weekend trips or snow skiing in Winter. I also love to chill out at home with a book or Netflix and i enjoy cooking too. Looking to find a nice home with friendly housemate/s who socialise at times but also do their own thing too.
