Hi, I am currently studying at Canberra Makeup Academy. I am from Batlow NSW and work there packing apples. I also bar-tend part time. I like being social and going out on the weekends but stay pretty quiet during the week. I am friendly and easy to get along with so would like to live with people the same. I really love travelling, going on adventures and doing new things. :) I am new to Canberra so would love to make some new friends.
I'm a very easy going student currently studying at ANU and working a retail job. I'm easy to get along with, and looking forward to living in a nice relaxed group environment. I tend to keep to myself most of the time, but I enjoy socialising as well. Always keen to play video games, board games, and I love horror movies, but I'm always happy to just chill.
We are a young couple studying and working part time jobs, looking to move out of our parents' houses and save to move to Melbourne when we finish study in 2019. We tend to keep to ourselves as we work, both day and night shifts however we are social on the rare occasion our schedules line up. We would prefer somewhere with our own kitchen/kitchenette as we are vegan and nut free. We both work in Kambah and go to school in the city so, we are looking for something around those areas.
Hello! My names charlotte. I'm Moving to Canberra to start my studies in beauty therapy and work part time. I'm a easy good gal who loves company of others but can respect having alone time. I'm very active with my time, I'm either working, hanging with friends, going out, gym, cleaning! As I'm really into beauty and makeup I like to spend a lot of time in the bathroom doing girly things, if you're happy to share you're space I'm happy to share mine. I'm happy to live with anyone (female, male, couples) but as I'm new to Canberra I'd love some new friends I could get along with and have a bit of fun along the way! Looking to move the 1st of May. Looking forward to meeting my new roomies x
We are an easygoing, respectful and open minded couple moving from the Netherlands to Canberra, to do a fulltime internship at CSIRO for 6 months. During the week we will be working and in the weekends we would like to explore the area and meet new people:) We have both been living in a housesharing situation for 5-6 years in Amsterdam. We both like sports and being outdoors. Send me a message if you can help us out or want to know more about us!
I'm arriving Canberra early June from the US to begin my physics post graduate degree at ANU. I'm a shy nerd who's quiet and keep to myself most of the time. I will spend a lot of time in a cafe during weekends (if one's available nearby). I like to draw, watch Netflix, read manga, and play video games when I have time. I'm down for outdoor adventures if the weather permits. I enjoy trips to pubs every once in a while. Not a heavy drinker, not a smoker, not a party creature. Looking for a quiet place somewhere that's within half an hour bus ride to ANU. A bedroom with private bathroom, an ensuite, a granny flat, or a studio is preferred. I'm a cat lady so if you have a cat I'm totally cool with that.
Hey There! 26, easy going female. Currently working full time in media marketing. I enjoy a social household and spending time w my housemates but enjoy having my own space. When I'm not working I like spending time outside and love dogs. Currently saving to travel so looking for somewhere affordable. Open to length of stay (hoping for more than 3 months). Any questions, let me know.
laid back and up for pretty much anything, not big drinkers or partiers but doesn't mean we won't dance and chat the night away with you. We enjoy outdoor activities like camping fishing and anything adventurous but we also like a good Netflix sesh. Board and card game nights also make for a good social night. We have three beautiful well behaved dogs and a very friendly cat all house trained and dogs are outside when no one is home. There is a horse if you like horses who is kept at park wood. Look forward to possibily being your house mate Kim and Freja
I am a very clean and tidy person. Willing to care for the home as if it was my own. I make a good stir fry and scrambled eggs, or making toast. Looking to join a share house which understands the need for space, but up for a meal a few times a week. NBN Internet is a big big positive.
Hello I am a lot younger than my age may indecate via most people's perception of chronolocal age. I have actually Youthed instead of Aged especially in the last 18 months. Photos to prove it too! I am passionate about life especially interacting with anyone who I meet. At present that is mainly on the airport shuttle bus giving ultimate customer service. I am gregaroius and layed back with integrity and a good sense of humour. Also have a wide list of interests. Team work in a shared accomodation is a must and of course respect of others in the house. Been sharing for 6 years now. Do not drink much at all and never smoke. Love Live music at Smith's Alternative. Ride my biscyle and go for walks. Love Bushwalking and the gym when possible too. Travel to Melbourne a bit as it is my Home City to visit friends. Family - son (London) and daughter (Perth) - divorced since 2002. Into agi-aging and very healthy diet, lifestyle and cutting edge supplements so I am sharing my answer to superior health and wellbeing to people interested. Love helping people out. I get along with and respect people of any age any gender! More? May I introduce myself face to face so you can get a sense of who I am? Cheers from David
Hi people, I'm a very relaxed person who likes sport and playing golf. I work pretty long hours (8-8) during the week as an Investment Analyst but I also enjoy having a beer or two on the weekend. More than happy to give people their space or be more social if that's what they're up for! When living with people I believe in good communication and being considerate to others. Cheers
Hey! I'm Cat. I'm currently in the hospitality industrie, i'm clean and tidy, super relaxed and friendly. I'm respectful of others space, but i always have time for a chat, and the occasional shared dinner and a glass of wine.
I've been sharing forever so have a fair idea how things work, fairly well house-trained (without being obsessive), working full-time and studying part-time, I have stuff if needed but can put things in storage, pretty chilled in general but enjoy the occasional chat. A large room (or access to a second room) would definitely be preferred as I'd like to be able to set up a study space, in addition to a large bed. cheers
Hey, I'm Steve! I am a project engineer from Bungendore originally, having moved back to Canberra after graduating from Wollongong uni with civil/marketing degrees last year. Looking at moving in with some other young 20-26 yo who are in a similar situation, working during the week but keen to have a few beers on the weekend! Also happy to live with uni students, however I won't be getting around any mid week pissups. I'm into live music, mostly triple j stuff as well as hardcore and like playing music around the house. I'm reasonably clean but i don't get annoyed if the dishes are left in the sink for a day. Looking at moving in sooner rather than later, currently staying with my folks out of town. Check out my videos Serendipitous Transcendence 1, 2 and 3 on YouTube to get an idea of the stuff I get up to. Look forward to potentially becoming your roommate. Steve
My partner and I are looking for a household close to ANU. I study Environmental sciences, and my partner studies mathematics and physics, both in our final year. We plan to stay around in Canberra after we finish up uni to pursue jobs in the public service and academia. Previously, we have been living in a shared Unilodge apartment. We aren't fussy about size as we have lived in small areas before without issues.
I have just returned from doing a short research course in Vietnam, and I am looking for a place to live while I complete my last year of my bachelor of development studies at ANU. I'm looking for a place close enough to uni so I can start riding again. I don’t want to live in a place where I am just renting the room. I'd prefer a place where I can have chats with my housemates but also who respect my space. I like doing yoga and hiking up mountains. Always keen for a beer or a chill netflix night.
Having signed my life away for the next 3-4 years to do a PhD at the ANU I am looking for a place closer to uni and work. I am easy going and always up for a bit of a laugh, I also like to keep busy and do fitness (which is lucky as I am a big fan of cheese and wine). Having spent long periods of time living in Cambodian and Malagasy jungles (yes jungles) I am pretty easy to please when I comes to living but I really don't enjoy shivering my way through Canberra winters. Perks of living with me include: 1) Having access to an impressive activewear collection. 2) Visits from an adorable dog. 3) No longer having to worry about being the most embarrassing housemate. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hello! My name's Hanna and I'm turning 20 in April. I've been living in sharehouses since I was 17 and as such paying rent and bills on time is a passion of mine :p I'm in the hospo game, being a bit of an all-rounder. Currently I bartend and work in catering/events. I don't have any pets, but in saying that, any animals you would have would be a huge plus! I enjoy cooking, camping, art, trying to skateboard and would love to be a part of a socially conscious sharehouse.
Hi, Im a young graduate that's work has moved him to Canberra. Can move in any time from April 30th to May 27th. Been share housing since 1st yr uni so civil edict is on point. Im pretty bloody laid back and love to share a few beers after work, obviously turning it up on the occasional weekend. Would prefer a social house hold!! I wont eat your coriander. I hate that shlt. Moving from Brisbane to Canberra to start studying a masters at ANU this February. Ideally would like to have a place to live sorted by the end of January. I like to keep busy with study (well procrastinating), working and volunteering most of the time but I also like to unwind with a beer at home and hanging out with housemates from time to time. Mostly keep to myself but always willing to pitch in around the house/do my fair share of the work. Can usually be found reading, bushwalking, going to gigs or seeing stand up, or binge watching things on Netflix. Interested in team ups with other people looking around North Canberra so get in touch if you're interested as well.
I'm from canberra. I like making music and skateboarding. I have some cool household additions like a projector and a small home music studio. I like to keep clean but i'm not too fussy, and i'm pretty laid back. Looking for a house with sociable roommates. I don't mind if people like to keep to themselves, as i do to sometimes but i would also like to hangout occasionally.
I'm originally from the NSW Central Coast, but I have lived in Canberra before and wish to move back. I can be flexible in regards to hanging out and chatting or keeping to myself which ever suits. I can cook, clean and I am generally tidy. I'm also currently studying to get my Master's degree
I'm a student studying nursing and paramedicine, I also play AFL for queanbeyan. I'm super laid back and easy to get along with, I clean up after myself and enjoy cooking dinners. I love baking when I get time off studying. I'm just looking to move out of home and become independent. I don't mind sharing house with anyone, love making new friends!
what makes me great to live with? I don't have a secret talent that makes me exceptional but I suppose what makes me great is that fact that I just do the basic things well and consistently. I clean up after myself, I respect my flatmates spaces and moods, not confining myself to my room and ignoring the people I live with but engaging them and enjoying a few moments that comes with living in a house with people the same age as you. I also can recommend some pretty good movies to watch on Netflix
Full time baker looking to move into Canberra to shorten the drive to work. Have a beautiful 1 year old staffy that needs a home as well (preferably a back yard). Am a generally tidy and quiet person, and very open to making new friends.
Hi. I'm Sarah. I'm 21 years old, and I'm looking for like-minded people to live with. I am a chill, friendly, easy-going person to live with. I am tidy, respectful and I enjoy a good household hang out. I am a musician (flute, piano, guitar and vocals), and I love attending live gigs wherever possible. I also really enjoy cooking (for myself and for others). I love films, pop culture and reading. I spend a lot of my free time reading, or watching Netflix. I am a newly converted (wannabe) gym nut. I am focusing on getting healthy and being active. I have an 8 year old White Russian cat named Milo who I would absolutely love to bring along.
Hi, I am moving to Canberra in April 2017 after living in Dubai for 14 years - very excited about settling in a new place! I love to have meaningful conversations, reading, learning new things, practicing Yoga and exploring nature. I am respectful of personal space, clean and organised. Professionally, I am a Training and Development specialist, on the look out for job opportunities. Looking for friendly and responsible housemates.
Looking at moving to Canberra/Queanbeyan in the next couple of weeks and have begun applying for appropriate houses. Would like to meet someone that is willing to go on the lease when we find a place and move in with us! About us - 21yo female 24yo male in a super stable relationship. Both working in hospitality but I'm looking to study at CMA next year. We have one beautiful female cat that is indoors 90% of the time and a gorgeous jack Russell x Foxie boy that is indoors at night (or if it's cold or raining or I want to cuddle, I'm a sucker for puppy eyes). We're both really easy going people that enjoy good company, music, cooking/eating and the occasional drink or 4. While we are very social people we are also quite private people that do enjoy solidarity. About you - ideally a female (or couple) early to mid twenties, respectful, clean, loves animals and loves a chat! Rent would be split equally among tenants and we would like someone willing to go on the lease. Currently looking at houses in the $450 price range so $150 each or less for a couple. We have all furniture for a house and your room can be furnished or unfurnished 😊 Please don't hesitate to send me a message if you think you'd be a fun addition to our quirky home!

I'm very easygoing, clean and quiet. I do shift work full time and I try to get out and about on my days off.
I am a new PhD here, working full-time. Before moving to Canberra, I have several-year's experience living with roommates. We respected each other and kept the house/apartment clean together. I am not a vegetarian, so I hope you're not either, or at least it won't bother you. I would prefer somewhere I could cook my dinner. I am busy in work but I'm always keen for a chat. I watch soccer & basketball occasionally. Would be good if you share similar interests.
I'm a student currently studying education at UC. I work Wednesday and Thursday afternoons as a nanny in the Gungahlin area. I'm friendly and tidy and have lived in share houses before. Looking to team-up with someone who will do their share of house work and is easy to get along with, preferably around the same age. I spend my spare time going to the gym, playing videogames, working on little craft projects and getting way to invested in cartoons. I can't cook for shit but I'd love to socialise over takeout and a few drinks.
Moving to Canberra to start Full time employment with Geoscience Australia. I am very social but enjoy and respect personal time and space, also very clean in kitchen and shared areas and expect the same from other housemates, Personal rooms are yours to do with as you want. I am quite active, usually training one sport or another (mostly Judo and Ultimate Frisbee), and enjoy getting out of the house on weekends and traveling, my girlfriend would visit for weekends from time to time I am looking for somewhere reasonably quiet, but do enjoy a drink on a social night every now and then, I am starting to amass a collection of board games. Have lived with and get along with both male and female housemates, and age is not an issue, also LGBT friendly. If I sound like you could live with me let me know, Cheers, James
I'm clean and easy to get alongn with. I'm a happy person who loves to socialise but respect people's space. I have a good job in a community organisation working with children and I love what I do. I have a labrador who loves people and is very well trained. I walk him every morning so he sleeps all day. I love the gym and getting out and about but also love some quite time at home as I read a lot and enjoy watching movies. I'm originally from Brazil but consider myself an Aussie.
I am an international student who is studying social work and works in the welfare sector. I like outdoor activities, cook and read. Easy going person who enjoys a glass of wine or watch a movie.
We all are interns at Australian National University and are here for ten weeks. We all are from India. We all would be working the entire day and would be out and be back in the evening.
I work full time in the city and also teach at UC. I have spent over 7 years in share houses and I am looking to move into something pretty quickly due to my current apartment being sold. I am not a clean freak but enjoy living in a tidy home where everyone's space is respected. I enjoy sharing the occasional meal and glass of wine with house mates.
Heya! My name's Jess, I'm currently an ANU student studying Psychology and Visual Arts, working part-time. I've recently found myself having a huge Sultana bran phase, having picked up a box at half price, so if you don't find sultana bran too obnoxious I think we might get along. (My last one was weet-bix). I'm generally quite easygoing and enjoy reading/listening to music in my spare time. Will also respect your space, help you make poor/wise life choices and feed you chocolate. I'm not too fussed about anything in particular, so it'd be lovely to hear from you - thanks for stopping by. :)
Looking for a place in Canberra's inner north. I just moved from Melbourne for a job in public service. I enjoy cooking together with housemates, yoga, bush walks, trips to the coast and the snow, and good discussions over wine and cheese but also time to myself.
Hi Im 19years old female live in Sydney. Im going to move to Canberra on 2nd April and work at NCCC. so I'm looking for an available accommodation near the cityI would describe me as easy-going and kind person. It would be great to be your flatmate. Please contact me
I am a government IT contractor from Sydney. I don't smoke. I am a quiet and clean person. I won't be available most weekends as I will be traveling to Sydney. I enjoy a glass of wine and good conversation. I am looking for a place close to work (Civic). I like eating out, yoga, gym, bike riding, Netflix and movies. I am also looking for housemate with whom I can be good friends with and hang out.
Heya! I am a veteran sharehouser who is after a quieter 2 bedroom 2 person set up. I have a stable job working for a private engineering and consulting firm so my work hours aren't extreme and I am generally free weekends and evenings. I am studying librarianship and am in my 3rd year of a 5 year study plan. I am after just one other to live with in a non-party, but super friendly set up. I want to become good friends with my housemate. I would prefer to team up with someone and tackle the rental market together so we can start a new home. I have an old lazy cat named Molly, so the tenancy would have to be agreeable to her. She is however very docile and kind, strictly indoors and only meows when I'm getting her meals ready, so she is the perfect addition to any household! I am a quiet and kind housemate who has been around the block renting in Canberra (I also have references etc) and enjoy relaxing with housemates chatting, have a few drinks and Netflix binging. Of course I enjoy my personal space too and could only live with someone who appreciates the same values. My move in dates are very flexible, I have all my own bedroom furniture and have some basic furnishings for the rest of the house if needed (couch, side tables, artwork, cookware, rugs etc) I enjoy a good book, movies and discussion, cuddling with animals and going on adventures. Let me know if you think we might be a good fit!
Hi! I'm friendly, easy going, clean, respectful, Looking for a room for about 9 months. I'm working and studying as well , so I won't spend too much time at home!
I've just moved from Sydney to Canberra to study at ANU this year, and am currently staying with family while I look for accommodation. I'm ready to move now but am flexible with my moving date. I'm a pretty mature individual, and I keep everything (but my sock drawer) tidy. I'm easy to get along with and I'm always up for a chat/being social, but am happy to keep to myself in the house if that's the go. I love sports, particularly netball, and am always up to attend live games/watch matches on telly. I'm open to different locations, though as a Sydneysider who has spent her life traveling and commuting to everything - I'd love to take advantage of the size of Canberra and live somewhere central.
Hello! My name is Emma I work full time in the public service. I enjoy relaxing with a drink with my friends on weekends, I love music, art and good food but am a fairly terrible cook myself. I'm an outgoing person and am looking for a house with a considerate, kind and easy going vibe.
That's a hard question as there are always going to be advantages and disadvantages with living with anyone! So I'll list my advantages for you ! I am extremely easy going, I'm never violent or angry in any way shape or form! I like to Netflix as much as possible that can involve the odd binge or documentary which can take up almost half a life time. In that sense I don't mind relaxing with others! I like food! Whether it's takeaway or something made at home! I used to work in restaurants with Italian cooks and also some eccentric cooks as well so I guess I've learnt abit in that sense. I do enjoy have a beer or two on the weekends so I'm sure if you like that we would be just fine been roommates ! I don't mind noise either so if you are a mid week party animal be my guest! This isn't to say I make a lot of noise. I just can sleep through anything to be honest. Since I'm new to Canberra would be awesome if someone could show me around or if someone is from overseas for you to enrich me with your culture ! As I have many French and Chinese friends ! I do work full time Monday to Friday! So I guess don't expect me to me partying mid week either but as I said before I don't mind if you guys do it a second I can sleep trough anything. I like to try new things and would really like to meet new people as I don't know many people here. If you like message me and I'll send you my full name if it's not already up so you can stalk me on Facebook!
I am an international student currently studying at the University of Canberra. I am friendly, clean, fairly neat and tidy. Loves to play and watch sports (mainly soccer and basketball). In my spare time, i usually go for a jog or to the cinema to watch movies.
Im an honest, genuine, hard-working person who is easy to get along with and very respectful of personal space and the need to sometimes just chill out on your own. But im also looking for a roommate who is friendly and wouldn't mind a bit of a chat every now and then and maybe watch a movie or have a drink or two on the weekend :)
Move date flexible. Research scientist with a past as a pastry chef. Working for a while before beginning postgrad study. I'm friendly, considerate, a great cook and love a good impromptu kitchen dance party. Like hanging out of an evening but also enjoy good old alone time. Tidy but not obsessive. Won't tag you in memes unless you're into that.
