Hi there! I am a student moving to Canberra for 1 year to work while completing a postgraduate degree. I love animals but sadly will be leaving my dog at home. I am typically a quiet person when at home who prefers to relax by going outside or watching videos/movies. I clean up after myself and enjoy gardening and adding some green touches! I prefer to cook my own meals at home most of the time but do enjoy going out to try new places to eat. I will have a busy schedule so wish to find a place that is calm and quiet. Hope to be in touch soon!
Hi, I'm passionate about recycling, helping out, great at fixing things, and have a very sociable Jack Russell who loves attention and a ball. Currently renting in Gungahlin (last 14 months), I work full time in Civic (I.T.), and want to be closer to work so I can ride my bike ($16.70 for parking is ridiculous). I spend some weekends at coast or camping/visiting friends/kids interstate. Looking for a place that has a secure outside yard and a space to park the car.
Hi! I recently finished my undergraduate degree in Speech Pathology at the University of Newcastle and have been offered a full-time job in Canberra. Since I will be moving to a new place, I am keen to explore Canberra and meet new people. Although I like some alone time, I am keen to live with others who will be up for a chat, exploring Canberra and being friends as well as housemates. I have lived with numerous housemates before and haven't had any problems. I am clean, friendly and and respectful of others and am looking for housemates with these same qualities.
Hey there! I'm a full time physics student at ANU about to start my fourth year, and part time aerial silks teacher and performer. Having lived in a share house for the past 2 years I think I've pretty much got the hang of the housemate etiquette - I'm clean and tidy, pay my bills on time and tend to cook a bit more food than necessary in case there's hungry housemates wandering around. Love having housemate drinks and family time, but personal space and quiet time are also vital. Sound interesting? Maybe I'm the housemate for you!
Hi I'm Petra! I'm a 20 year old female UC student. I'm very friendly and easy going, clean and independent, and love exercising and doing outdoor activities! I'm looking for a room to stay from Feburary until December 2018 :)
I am a 21 year old full time student studying social work at ACU. I work casually at a residential drug and alcohol rehab, and I would consider myself social but am understanding that everyone needs down time.
I'm looking for somewhere short-term and preferably furnished. I'm currently working in Deakin - I've worked here in a marketing role for 2 and a half years. I enjoy living in a busy house as I'm quite social. On weekends I'll be out and about or travelling to visit friends. Essential - walking distance to decent coffee :) Would prefer Inner North so I'm close to friends. I also work a couple of nights a week in a bar in Braddon so would be great to walk to and from work if I can. I love animals so a pet would be amazing!
I’m a quiet, clean and respectful girl who is looking for somewhere to live. I work two jobs as a bartender so work odd hours but am respectful of others when coming home late. I enjoy personal space and time but also love socialising with others and am keen to make new friends.
I've recently relocated to Canberra for a role in the public service. I'm looking for a decent sized room in an established share house in the city or inner northern suburbs. I'm very tidy and friendly, and I like to run and cook. I have bedroom furniture in storage and am ready to move in in late Jan or early Feb.
Hi everyone! I'm Alex, a recent graduate fortunate enough to be offered a graduate position in the APS. I'll be moving to Canberra from Brisbane in late January and am currently on the lookout for a furnished room. I like to think of myself to be an easy-going person with a passion for exploring new things. I have never lived in Canberra before so I am excited to get out and have a look at the national parks around ACT & NSW. I am also that person who loves Netflix and I do value my personal space along with others'. But I love being able to sit down with my housemates every so often, share a couple of drinks and have a little chat. I have had six years experience living in shared accomodation in which my most recent location I was at for two and a half years (reference available if requested). Please feel free to contact me if you would like to hear more from me.
Hi there! I'm Luke, a friendly, happy, clean & tidy potential housemate. I work full time in the public service with a background in Design as well as elite sport -Athletics. I'm either looking to move or looking for two new housemates to move into my current home -a townhouse in Watson. I enjoy nice wine, food -cooking and eating and music and am pretty social but also respectful of others personal time. I stay very active outside work and enjoy many interests. If I sound like someone you might live with drop me a line, text or send me an email. Look forward to hearing from you.
Hi, I'm an easygoing, clean potential housemate who enjoys having a chat and a laugh. I'm from Melbourne but have been studying in Canberra for the past two years. I'll be starting a job in Canberra at the beginning of March. I enjoy trivia nights, British comedy, racquet sports and reading.
I'm stating a grad position with the Dep of Infrastructure. Have share housed, ran share houses and truly enjoy the company of others. Especially over a home cooked meal and some wine. I'm an avid gardener, forager, pickler and fermenter. Having recently mourned the loss of my sourdough starter due to my extensive travels overseas. I enjoy clean public spaces, dirty jokes and a good contagious laughing fit. I have plenty of furniture, cookware and can get a fridge and washing machine from Melbourne if required. Oh, that's where I'm from but I'm rather well travelled also. If you're keen to start a place or have a room spare let's catch up for a coffee and see how we get along.
Public servant moving from Sydney role to position in the ACT. Looking for initial short stay around 6 months while establishing myself in the new role
Hey all - I'm a PhD student at ANU, currently living in a great place in Turner, but my housemate / landlord is moving interstate at the end of January, so I'm looking for places in the inner North within cycle commute range of uni! I'm super diligent about household upkeep, generally pretty chill, have a few pieces of whitegoods should they be needed - anything else, please just ask!
Two easy going guys who are both really friendly and easy to get along with. We're keen to get to know our housemates but will also respect your personal space. Keen to make the most of our time in Canberra. Will be home in the evenings and most weekends. Both of us start training pretty early mornings and get home quite late in the afternoon. One of us is a great chef.
I'm a student moving down from Brisbane this year to study part of my engineering degree at the ANU. I have a part time job in Gungahlin which I will commute to either by public transport or my own car. I live clutter free and strive to live in a hygienic and very clean environment. Socially I enjoy craft beer (drinking), music (listening, playing) and sport (playing, watching and match-attending), however given I know few people in the ACT I would enjoy spending time with other flatmates. Love light-hearted fun like stories and boardgames and will bring my guitar out for a jam if you want to hear a song. This said, I am open minded to all views and perspectives and I respect personal space among the household. Looking for a like-minded, fun loving and relaxed household to meet a bunch of mates. I enjoy spending time in the kitchen and would love the opportunity to cook for everyone and given my degree in electronics I would be very willing to also provide you free IT help. Moving down mid-Feb yet I have casual arrangements to stay with family until the end of the month. I would like to use this time to familiarize myself with the city and to shake a few hands.
Easy going, clean and tidy. I am from Melbourne and I have moved to Canberra last month for a full time position in IT. I am normally in Canberra on weekdays and return to Melbourne on the weekends.Besides when I am not working, I like spending time at the gym, watching TV, listening to music, cooking and studies.
I'm a 25yr old Canberran and am looking for a group of like-minded people to share a home/apartment/anything with. I work full-time as a consultant and recently finished the last of my studies. A bit about me..I'm easy-going and tidy, like to socialise but I do enjoy a bit of downtime to myself. Also a big fan of wine, big cookups & keeping active. Don't have a specific date, but I guess the sooner the better! I'm also keeping an eye out for rentals around the city/inner north area so if you're interested in teaming up, then send me a message!
My name is Michael. I'm 19 and have recently finished high school. I mostly do self study online with casual work at Kmart and Deliveroo. I'm pretty quiet and tend to keep to myself but I do enjoy good company and like going out on occasion. Most times you will find my at my computer either studying, working or playing games. My cooking skill is unfortunately limited to eggs, toast and instant/ canned food but I am willing to help around the kitchen.
