***ABOUT ME:*** •Hello! My small dog and I are looking for a home. We are looking for housemates who LOVE DOGS! •I'm a 28 years young Sydney-born Full Time 9am-6pm working professional in the photography industry in the CBD. I'm honest, responsible and reliable; I pay all my current existing bills on time and can most definitely pay my future rent/bills on time! •I keep my personal and communal areas clean and tidy e.g. I like to wash my dishes straight away so that I never leave dishes sitting in the sink smelly for days or for others to wash up after me. •I'm friendly, like to hangout/chillout and like to get to know people. At the same time, I'm quiet, shy and like to relax on my own. I'm looking for a place to live where it's quiet, drama-free and not a party house as I love a good night's sleep. •I am respectful of other people and their personal space and property. •During the working week: I like to take my dog for walks, go to the gym and go to bed as early as I can. •On the weekends: I like to treat my dog to the dog beach/park, skateboard and cook my meals for the coming week. •My interests/hobbies: mini outdoor adventures/seaside hikes with my dog, skateboarding, gym, arts and crafts (e.g. film photography, loom knitting, building gundams), going to live music concerts, watching movies/tv shows, boardgames...and so many more! •I'm a non-smoker and am looking to live with other non-smokers only. I don't do drugs and I am not a heavy alcohol drinker. •I am looking to live at a place for longer term (minimum 12 months). •I am looking to live within walking distance to a train station or light rail as I don't drive. •I would organise my own food as I cook fresh meat and vegetables for my dog as well. I would most likely cook my week's worth of food on the weekend then freeze it so I don't have to cook during the working week. ***ABOUT MY DOG:*** •My dog is a 6 years young male Chihuahua. •He is doggy door toilet trained, desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. •He is a clean indoor dog and sleeps on my bed. It would be ideal for him to have access to indoors and outdoors when I'm not home so he can go to the toilet outside and sleep inside. I have a removable doggy door panel which is simply a vertical panel of glass with a doggy door at the bottom which slots in next to a sliding door. •He loves people but needs time to warm up to them, so he is shy and nervous initially. •He is friendly and playful with other small dogs. He hasn't lived with another dog before, but I think a dog friend would be good company for him as he doesn't like to be home alone, so we are looking to live with another small dog. •He does bark when someone leaves or enters the home, but only for about 30 seconds. He also barks if he sees another dog walking outside from the home window. So we are looking to live with people who are understanding and tolerant of these now-and-again barks. I plan to have him professionally trained to manage this here-and-there barking. •He becomes scared easily if treated badly by someone and may nip to defend himself. So please, we are looking to live with DOG LOVERS ONLY who will show him lots of love, and won't grab him or yell at him aggressively. •I'm looking for housemates who wouldn't mind feeding my dog once in a while when I stay out past dinner time if I'm out at a music concert or doing something at night. Of course I'd be more than happy to doggysit my flatmates's pets if they'd wish :) •His interests/hobbies: loves going for walks especially by the ocean, playing catch with tennis balls and following me everywhere around the home. •Sorry, he is not cat friendly. ***ABOUT MY FISH:*** •The only piece of 'furniture' I would be bringing to the communal part of the house is my 17 years young fish and his 90 litre fish tank. •It would be ideal to have the tank in a communal area as he likes to watch people walk past and he swims after them. It would be fantastic to place the fish tank close to a sink for easier changing of water.
I've recently moved back to Sydney after living and working abroad the last few years. I'm a nurse and am studying a masters degree full-time. I'm self funded but also applying for some casual nursing work to fit in around the studies. I'm pretty easy going and like living with people who are happy to share a meal and a drink from time to time, but are also respectful of each others space.
Being a University student, I like to have time to myself to study and what not. I do enjoy going out with friends and be adventurous. I'm a very cleanly person as I like maintaining a clean environment throughout the week. I'm pretty much an allrounder and click with almost anyone who's happy to make new friends. I enjoy learning of other's hobbies and interests whether it be from the arts, to sports, etc.
Helloo! I'm a pretty bubbly outgoing kinda gal who loves spending time with my friends and family. I have a strange kind of love for anything that glitters or sparkles, despite being a fully fledged adult. I work full time in Ashfield and I own and rent out an apartment in Perth (I lived there for a few years). I'm a pretty neat and clean person who loovvessss when people put the empty toilet roll and drain hair in the bin and fills the kettle up after it's been used 🙊 I also spend about 45 billion hours in the bathroom so I'm preferably looking for a place where I'll have my own bathroom.
Hi, My name is Nat, I am 28 and am currently studying Speech Pathology at USYD. I loovvve music, hanging out with my 4 year old Kelpie Loi and prefer to bed outside (if not studying). I work part time and spend alot of my time at either work, uni or at a gig. I am a very clean and considerate housemate. Thanks for your time. Nat
Hi all, I work as a full-time economist at the Reserve Bank of Australia. I've lived in multiple flat shares before and I'm an easy-going and respectful flatmate. I'm mainly looking for somewhere quiet (not a party house), though it would be great to live with people who enjoy a beer or two. And my family run a small winery on the South Coast of NSW, so I'm always well-stocked with wine! I'm looking for a bedroom in a 2 or 3-bedroom property. I've lived in Annandale and Newtown before and loved both those locations, but also happy to give somewhere else a try. I'm hoping to be settled by mid-May at the latest. I would love to hear from you, so please drop me a message! Cheers, James

Moving to Sydney from NZ to take up a job at UTS. I'm a clean, active, easy-going and social person hoping to find some fun people to live with. I will have a full time job so will likely be busy during the week but am always down for exploring the city, binge watching Netflix or having a cheeky wine on the weekends. Looking for a large private room in a share house close to the CBD or close to a bus/train station - less than a 45min commute via public transport. Preferably furnished with a double bed and available late May. My partner is currently looking to move over in 2-4 months so ideally I will have a room that either he could move into or that I could move out of once he comes. He's a super chill earth scientist who loves to surf.
I'm a 24 brazilian girl, living in Sydney to improve my English skills and enjoy this time of my life. I'm friendly and peaceful. I like things clean and tidy but I'm not paranoid! I like cooking and exchanging recipes. I'd love to live where it has pets and plants!
Hi, I'm Nicola. Currently studying - Diploma of Costume at Ultimo TAFE, i'm creative and fairly social, happy to have a glass of wine or a G&T and a chat, yet i definitely like my own downtime, and am happy in my own company. Not a big tv watcher so there'll never be a tussle over the remote! (although if you've a good movie up your sleeve, happy to keep you company!) I pretty much like all types of music except country and western but don't make a habit of turning the volume up, preferring to read a good book (SciFi is my go to - i have Asimov books i have been lugging around with me for the last 20 odd years, to get rid of them would be tandamount to sacrilege) or do a spot of painting/sewing/other creative stuff. I'm a clean up after myself as i go in the kitchen and tend to keep my stuff out of common areas (unless you like books, then i'm happy to add to the bookcase!). Easy going, open minded and like a good laugh. Ideally a room with either a mostly north west or west aspect is what i'm after, for the light - it's all about the light! Even a mostly north with bit of east will make me happy, as long as there's loads of light for my artistic pursuits. High ceilings would be great but not a "must have", prefer an unfurnished room but i can also work with furnished. If you like to have the odd impromptu party - not crazy kinda party (although i DO love a good costume party!), more the dinner party kinda thing, or mates over, that's fine by me - i may join in, invite a friend or two of my own along, or leave you all to it, either way, i have no problem with that sort of stuff if that's what you like to do. I don't have a pet, but if you have one that'd be awesome! Dog/Cat cuddles are the best!
Hi there! My name is Tereza, I come from Czech Republic, I am 27 years old. I have been studying and working in Sydney for one year and half. I´am very friendly and easy going person, study in CBD and looking for some nice room for living. I would really like to live with English speaking people as my English is still not so much good now and I would like to get improve it :-) The place what I am looking for should be clean, furnished, near the town (max 30 min), and the place where is possible to cook as I prepar the meal for every day :-) And I am sorry, but I prefer quite place, I am not a party girl :-) Living in a clean household is important to me, as is being socially adept. Thanks in advance Tereza
Hi we are Cristian and Arianna a really quiet, clean and polite, very silent and we are looking for equally respectful people, bye
We are a portuguese couple that will be arriving in Sydney in mid May, to study and work. We are tidy, easy going and make the best lasagna!
I'm pretty easy going and I am always respectful of others and their stuff. I'm studying my Masters of Pharmacy at UTS, I also work as a lifeguard on the weekends. I am pretty active, I love being outdoors either running, walking or hiking, I also enjoy going to the gym. I love food and eating out a lot especially for burgers. Also enjoy a nice glass of red wine :)
Just looking for a 2 month stay, preferably own bathroom and spacious, lease ended early on my own place so I need something clean with full time workers like me. Message me if you have something along these lines, preferably girls.
I am a friendly person who likes a chat, and an occasional games night. I am studying graphic design in the city, and working part time. I enjoy art, music and surfing. I also don't mind living with animals. I clean up after myself, and will happily contribute to the house cleaning. I am looking for a place that will take couples. Armand is from the USA and he will be in Australia for 12 months working and travelling. Armand is a very warm and friendly guy who loves people. He is very active at the gym and is very respectful and also picks up after himself. We look forward to finding a comfortable room with friendly people.
Two people looking for an unfurnished room that's a reasonable size. We are both looking for a place that is clean, tidy and with respectable house mates; preferably in a professional industry. Auxane is leaving at the end of August and Nick would still like to stay ongoing. We are happy to pay more for rent as a couple but Nick's budget is $300 per week. Auxane is here for only 4 months from France. She is here for her internship at H2Coco in marketing. Nick runs his own business from home in marketing, he is Australian. "We are both pretty chilled and focus on our work, plus each other, but still want to have fun in the breaks. So like minded people looking for trustworthy friends is ideal." There is really only one requirement for Nick, and that's parking. There must be on street parking without "permit" signs, or you can provide a parking permit. We both love cats, so bonus points if the house has a cat. :)
Laid back professional photographer who enjoys quiet nights in as well as socialising with friends at various bars, cafes, diners, live music venues, art events, gym, outdoors when not working. My week various - I'm a freelancer who is either working from home or out shooting on location on weekends / some evenings. I clean up after myself, is social enough to hold a conversation with you and your guests when we see each other around the house but know when to respect your privacy. I'm housetrained :) and is happy to share the chores / bills for common household items. I LOVE animals though have no pets of my own but if you do I'd be more than happy to help with walking or feeding said furry creature when you are too busy etc. If there is space for gardening I'd love to maintain / contribute so we can always have fresh herbs and veggies. In regards to rent / bills, after the initial bond and 1 month rent, I am willing (indeed would prefer) to pay monthly in advance. In terms of contract, I am hoping to settle into my new home for more than 12 months if we are all a good fit. Ideally, it would be great to get along with my flatmates outside of the share housing situation. In the past I've had flatmates who became friends / regularly gone out together in social situations.
I'm a busy medical student at the university of Sydney and my passions include cooking, talking, good wine and great beer. I'm social, love to have a few drinks and a few friends around, but responsible and reliable. Looking for a place to move into whenever as I'm currently staying with a friend.
I am a Retoucher/Fitness photographer. Spent my working career in Advertising. Love the outdoors, beach anything that gets me away from the computer. No 2 weeks are ever the same...I work around Sydney at Agencies and studios alike. I have a small 15yr old dog Belle who does nothing but sleep all day . Very timid but loves people and other dogs. I enjoy fitness, go to gym 4 x p/w, like the occasional social drink to unwind and basically love to have a good laugh at the end of the day. So good sense of humour much appreciated!
Moving over the ditch from Auckland NZ (don't hold that against me) after returning home after a 2 year stint in London. However I am not quite ready to settle in NZ so I have decided to move to Sydney. I work in advertising for a media agency so tend to be busy throughout the week! Looking for a sociable, likeminded and friendly house that will enjoy the odd beer or two from time to time. I am interested in joining a tennis club and also enjoy playing tag rugby so anyone interested in either would be a plus!
Looking for a furnished private room/place to move into ASAP for at least 4-6 months with the possibility of extending. Would prefer my own bathroom (or shared with one other). Non-smoker and would prefer to live with other non-smokers. LGTBQI friendly, animal lover (especially cats) but not bringing any with me. Would prefer an all female flat, or a mix of girls and guys. I'm 27 years old, working in digital advertising full time and just finished my masters last year. I work in Pyrmont so ideally looking for something within walking distance or close to the light rail or a train station. Born in Australia but moved away and having been living abroad in Hong Kong and New Zealand up until 2015. I'm very chilled and sociable, but also like my downtime and respect other's space. I like quiet nights in watching a movie, drawing or learning a new language (I speak six). I also enjoy swimming and trying new cuisines. Traits I appreciate in a flatmate are cleanliness, respectful in regard to noise and privacy and just being generally friendly. I've lived in a variety of situations including on my own, in a penthouse apartment in a hotel, flatting with singles and couples (straight & gay) and in a dormitory. Happy to provide references from previous places if requested.
