Hi future flatmate/s, I've just returned to Australia after working in Europe and West Africa for the last 2 years. I speak English and French and like sharing and learning about cultures and peoples from all walks of life. I am looking for a long-term stay (several months to a year or longer) because I've just accepted a full-time job, 9 - 5 type hours. I've been working, volunteering and woofing in many places. Most recently (this year) I was involved in English teaching, art, freelance media and human rights projects in Senegal, Greece and Turkey. Right now I'm in Brisbane on the life modeling and art scene. I'd like to do further study in anthropology, development, and peace and conflict... but for the moment a full-time job, saving some $$, and learning some new skills is the new challenge! I would like to continue being part of a creative community. I play music and recently got myself a soprano uke :D it's not super noisy and I don't intend on bashing out tunes at 1am just in case instruments are an issue haha. I am keen to live with people who are open minded, independent, empathetic and respectful, who value quiet time but are also able to share a meal, drink, or do things together if we want. Basically to feel comfortable in our shared home :) I'm passionate about peaceful activism, nature, arts, food and wine, films, books, helping others and being the best me I can. I love live music, performance, and theatre, and I'm also a strong advocate for mental health 💚 I'm looking forward to making Sydney my new home and living with some fantastic people :) Sophia

Also ideally someone who is an artist or in the theatre industry. Show buddies? Yes please! My schedule is pretty busy so I'm usually out and about or locked away working on a script, but I am definitely looking for a home not just a place to sleep. Also I don't drive so I need a place with excellent public transport options. Cheers, Sam
Hi! My name is Mariah :) I'm 21 years old and I've just recently graduated from tafe in QLD. I will be relocating to Sydney on the 31st of December to take up a full time job as a Beauty Therapist in Parramatta, starting the job on the 8th of January so Ideally looking for a place around the area. I'm not much of a party person however, I love going out and meeting new people and I enjoy hanging out at home as well but I also keep to myself as I respect other people's space and privacy. Hopefully to find a place and some fun loving people to live with and who are interested in becoming friends as I'm new to the City :)

When my roommates are sleeping I will try and be as quiet as possible so I wont wake you and I hope you will do the same. 😄 Likes/Hobbies - Makeup 💅 💄 - Eating 🍗 🍕 🍉 - Watching movies 🎬 - Animals 🐶 🐶 - Socialising 😆 - Music 🎧 🎼 🎤 - Learning about new things/people
Hi, We are visiting Australia on a working holiday visa for 12 months and would be keen to rent a room in Sydney on a more flexible arrangement during this time e.g. being able to give a month's notice to move out or to rent short-term etc. We would be looking to move in on 19th January 2018. We are: Reliable Clean and tidy Professional full time workers (Engineer and HR Manager) Friendly and easy going Happy to be as social or as unsocial as our house/flat mates prefer :-) We are looking for somewhere with parking (can be on street) and either near a beach or fairly central (20-30 mins by public transport ideally), but we are open to other options. We would also need the room to be furnished with a bed but we have our own sheets and towels and kitchen utensils etc.
George from South Wales, UK Rebeca from South Island, NZ Looking for a room in flatshare from Jan 1st We like to travel, cook, get outdoors, get to the beach, watch good movies, watch bad movies, bake on rainy days, cook breakfasts on the weekend, stay healthy and active when motivated and explore museums, galleries and new places where possible. We are both very friendly, personable and easy to get along with. Very clean, tidy and respectful of other flatmates but always happy for a chat.
PLEASE READ MY BIO AND CONSIDER MY BUDGET before messaging me.Please note I'm looking for a PRIVATE ROOM. Hi future flat mate, I'm a fulltime early childhood education student. I absolutely love working with children. This should justify the fact that I am very tolerant, fun and responsible. I love to paint when I have time and cooking. Friendly, chilled out early 20's girl.Wouldn't mind having a drink or two over the weekend and chat.
I live an active and healthy life, im easy to get along with, driven with my goals and looking for a room to rent which is closer to my job within Sydney CBD
I'm an international student from Vietnam and will start studying Business in Western Sydney University Parramatta City campus in Feb 2018. I'm pretty adaptable and easy to get along, but also a bit quiet and timid (mostly at first). I can cook few basic dishes and are responsible with the housework (dw haha). Some interests: crafting, alternative/indie pop/rock (most fav are Marina or Panic! At the Disco), Japanese culture in general, basically a bit obscure. Feel free to ask me for more info :)
Chilled, clean finance professional. I come bundled with a cat called Oliver. Ollie is also chilled & clean. I'm happy keeping him confined to my room (assuming the room is big enough & I have an en suite) I’m cool with most things, but I sleep from 11-7, and would need my potential room mate to respect that. Looking to share with 1 person (max). Apartment must be new and modern with air conditioning and within a 5 min walk to the train station. Oh, and I need my own bathroom :) My work requires me to be quite sociable, so a lot of the time I'm quite drained. Happy to watch a movie together or share a glass of wine, but I also thoroughly enjoy my private space. No raging parties, cheers.
I'm an immigration lawyer from Brisbane who is working full-time in Sydney CBD. I come with my indoor kitten Mimo who is fully toilet-trained (never had an accident with her toilet habits), microchipped, vaccinated, regularly dewormed. My dog-lover friends adore Mimo as she is very much like a dog - she greets people at the door and sniffs them when they come home, and sits outside showers to wait for people to be done. She's also incredibly gentle, although she does have moments when she decides your foot is worth attacking and she'll hug onto it - only if you're a good friend. She has her own cat tree to scratch and a gazillion toys to play with when she's bored, but she likes human cuddles a lot too. I am friendly, considerate, will respect your personal space and expect the same from others. I am a light sleeper, so I definitely prefer a place that is quiet and housemates who work full-time like I do. My move-in date will have to fall on or in the week before 1 January 2017. I am on the lookout for a five-month lease. I will be happy to extend beyond the five months so long as the house is great as Mimo (my cat) does not enjoy moving. I do not drive and am quite lazy with walking so I would like to find a place that is within 10 minutes' walk from the train station. Cheers
My whole life I've been stuck in this country bubble and I'm ready to begin my sitcom life in the city. I'm ready to be your Rachel from Friends. I'm a student about to start uni in Feb, but I'm looking to move in January so I have time to get a job first. I enjoy writing, drawing, gaming, and making entertaining quips that will enrich your life. As a flatmate I'm responsible, quiet, and easygoing. I look forward to hearing from you :)

Hi, I'm Pridhvi. I'm moving to Sydney from India on 1st Dec on a work visa. I'll be working full time in an analytics firm in CBD. A bit about myself: I'm a very laid back person, respectful of boundaries but always up for a chat/drink or two. I'm quite athletic if I say so myself, up for most physical activities although I don't have that much of an experience in exploring the great outdoors. I play/watch football (the English kind), table tennis and a bit of the cricket. I'll be working from 9-7 Monday-Fridays and will be free on the weekends and would like to to explore Sydney and surrounding areas. When I'm not at work, you'll likely find me binging on TV shows/movies etc. I'm quite knowledgeable in all kinds of films and always up for taking/giving suggestions. I keep myself/surroundings tidy and am quite ready to share household chores. I'm looking for a private room in a share house preferably starting from around late December. Looking forward to having a great time down under :)
