Hi there, My name's Avnee, and i'm looking for a private room in the inner city suburbs. Dates: Mid July — Early Dec 2017 (dates are flexible). I'll be travelling Dec-Jan, but will be looking to rent again from late Jan — mid June 2018, whether at the same place or another (so happy to help find a temporary housemate if you'd like). About me: I'm a 23yr old, currently studying my Masters of Clinical Psychology. I'm undergoing my training as a clinical psychologist, so i'll be at uni or my placements 5 days a week. I'm looking for a home to come back to in the evenings where I can cook a nice meal (though I love a good take-out) and get some R&R. On weekends, I like a mix of quiet time (can't live without chocolate and Netflix) and getting out and exploring Sydney with friends. My parents live in Sydney so on some weekends i'll dissapear to visit them, and might bring back some home-cooked curries to share ;) What i'm like to live with: Clean, organized, and easygoing. Ideally, i'd like to become friends with my new housemates, but I also completely respect your need for space.
G'dday mate :D I'm a teacher just moved from England to Sydney, looking a nice room in a friendly and clean shared place. I'm sociable and looking forward to exploring my new city. I like to cook a bit and happy to share meals if people want that, or just leave people jealous if they don't ;) Would be good to get to know some new folk :) In terms of what I like to do cor fun, I like to swim, walk, and am up for anything that will get me on the path to physical fitness. Love eating a bit too much, like the movies and the very occasional drink out. I've never surfed or dived, both of which I'd like to try sometime.
I am a friendly person I am easy to get along with and I love talking with people. At times I love my own space to relax and read. I am considerate towards the needs of others. Love to go on long walks with others to keep fit and healthy. My work keeps me busy as I work with people with a an intellectual disability which I enjoy. Once you get to know me I know you will appreciate me.
Self employed (social/digital), clean, chilled, friendly, social, healthy yet capable of consuming a whole pizza. From Sydney, love travelling, gigs, art, beers/bbqs, camping, meeting new people, also enjoy my down time. I have a cat (Wilson), he makes minimal noise and is more or less a dog.
Hello. I have moved from Canberra to Sydney permanently for work. I'll be working full time in a corporation in the CBD. A little about me - I little about me - I'm 32, male, of Indian origin, and have lived in India, England and Hong Kong, before moving to Australia last year. I am tidy and respectful. I am happy to share with the housework, and socialise when everyone feels like. Otherwise, I'm equally happy to watch conspiracy theory documentaries on youtube or follow the latest Netflix sensation. I have lived in shared accommodation in several countries, including Australia and have usually enjoyed the association and ended up with enduring friendships with my housemates. Call me to see we might be a good fit to share a place!
Hey. I'm Lisa, I'm a lawyer from Brazil going for a carrer change so I'm studing Management at Greenwich College. I'm looking for a quite and clean place to come back to after work and classes. I'm organized and very tidy but not in a neurotic way. I don't want a party house but I'm easy going so I'd enjoy a nice conversation and a beer once in a while.
Hey there! I'm a friendly gal who loves (in no particular order) all types of music, fitness and health, food and dogs! I work full time in digital marketing in Chippendale, and I'm also studying my Cert III in Dog Behaviour and Obedience to one day hopefully work training guide and therapy dogs. I'm currently living on the Northern Beaches, however am looking to be closer to the city for work. I'm super easygoing, very organised, always up for a chat and a drink, equally happy to chill out, Netflix and study :) I have a pretty unique situation in that as part of my dog training course, I have to train a dog to do a variety of assistance-based tasks, such as getting drinks from the fridge, fetching tissues and blankets etc. Except the problem is that I don't have my own dog! If there's a resident pooch at your place, PLEASE contact me, and in a few months you'll have a very well-behaved pup on your hands. Cheers!
We are a couple from the UK who have been together for 3 years (living together for 2 years) but have been living in Australia for almost a year and a half now. Both really easy going and not hard to live with, we like to keep the place clean and tidy. We both work throughout the week and enjoy spending our evenings at home cooking and just chilling out but enjoy getting outdoors and exploring at the weekends! We aren't massive party people but are always up for a chat over a few drinks. We're looking for somewhere to call home and have a laugh with the people we're living with! (not boring serious housemates 😂)
Hello! My name is Lynette from Singapore and I will be in Sydney starting June 2017 for a 2 year college course. I worked in the hotel and tourism industry for the past few years and I love meeting people from all over the world and all walks of life. I have lived in Sydney before and I am looking forward to returning to this beautiful city. I am 38 but look and feel more like 30 at heart! Lol! I am a really neat and tidy person and love to have an organised space to live and relax after coming home from a long day. I am respectful and considerate of people around me and hope to find like minded flatmates. My preferred length of stay would be anything from 3-6 months (with a possibility to extend) or 1 year or more if the place is suitable. Hope to get in touch with a future flatmate soon! Thanks for reading :) Lynette

Pretty easy going guy, currently working at Broadway Shopping Centre and studying at Uni. I mostly need a place to sleep, travelling is taking a toll on me. I am planning to move out after my finals so as of right now I'm willing to check the place out and just get to know you unless you find someone better which is cool. I like How I met Your Mother and Brooklyn Nine-Nine :)
Hello, I'm Scott, a 28 year old English language teacher from the UK. I'm looking to move into a quite house with my girlfriend, a 27 year old designer from South Korea. We would like to rent a place from May 24th to July 3rd. We enjoy cooking and chilling out. We are reliable, tidy and friendly people.
We are both full-time PhD science students, each on scholarship, and are also both casual academics at UTS. We are looking for tidy and respectful housemates to welcome us into their home! :) Looking to move somewhere in or around the city/inner west, so not too far from work. Our budget is $220pw each (so $440 together), including bills. We have a sweet, small and very well-behaved cat that who is very timid at first, but once she trusts you loves to shower you with affection. She loves laying in the sun so if you have a yard (no matter how small) that's a bonus. We aren't at home much as we have fairly chaotic schedules between teaching and our PhDs. We also frequently spend time with Joel's family, but when we get the chance we do like to relax and enjoy home-time. We are looking to live with like-minded, mature people around the same age bracket (20-30yo). Housemates must be considerate and able to clean up after themselves as there's nothing that will send us crazy faster than conversations outside my door at 1am on a weeknight, or an ever-accumulating layer of dirt. We are very sociable and would love to move in with people that we can enjoy a few beers/ciders with, but also value and respect privacy and alone-time too.
Hi I'm Brooke and I'm a 2nd year uni student at UTS studying property and international studies. Currently living in the redfern/surry area but looking to move into a bigger space. I’m normally either at work or uni or a combination of both throughout the day. Hobbies include: cooking, eating, drinking coffee, attempting to do yoga, painting, playing the piano (not very well) and procrastinating over assignments. I’m always keen for a chat but am very respectful of people’s privacy. Clean and tidy, always pay my bills on time Looking for a place that feels like home and would love to move into a friendly and social house :) I don't really have a preferred stay time, it really just depends on the people and the house. My move date is also flexible
I'm a full time barista working and supervising at a cafe. I make a mean latte. In my spare time I like going out for a few beers on King Street (or maybe now somewhere a bit less crowded). I cook a lot, trying to figure out all the cuisines but I believe that anything with cheese and olive oil can be made into magic. I play a bit of soccer and read, listen to a lot of neo-soul and watch Netflix, I'm an Average Joe. On an indefinite hiatus from studying a multitude of degrees and accumulating exponential HECS debt.
I'm 28, full-time working operating theatre nurse from Texas. On my weekends and days off, I'm usually training at the gym, catching up on shows, or wandering around town with my friends. I have lived in share houses before, know how to pick up after myself and contribute to a shared space. Love a good chat or a house dinner, but also respect your space. I'd really prefer a team-up as I'm looking to sign a lease and start somewhere new. Not set in stone though!
Hi I'm Tess, I'm 27 and work full time as a Speech Pathologist in Newtown. Looking for a new place to call home due to lease ending! I'm very easy going, love baking and I'm great with a vacuum! Always happy to relax and do my own thing, but equally happy to sit down with a g&t and catch up!
Hello. We are social, fun and adventurous! +clean! I work in Newtown as a landscaper and I'm going to start TAFE in July to gain some key experience and knowledge. My girlfriend Tammy works as a registered nurse and midwife and loves what she does. We love to have social drinks on the weekend, with a good balance of chilling out. Enjoying life is essential before having to start back on Monday! We love sushi train and tasty pub grub meals. Eat well, live well! So we are looking for a place for 5 or so months before we head on exciting adventures! We would like to find a place with 2 or so couples. Look forward to meeting new people and possibly you if you like the sound of us. Look forward to meet you. Chow for now ✌️
Hi I'm looking for a quite home with professional like minded people with a positive attitude. I work 6days a week including weekends. On my time off I enjoy keeping fit and being healthy. I do enjoy sharing a glass of wine with my fellow house mates. I am clean and tidy, respectful of my house mates. I'm looking for a home not just a place to sleep. Thanks Nat

I am 21yo Spanish girl who has been living in Sydney for a year now. I study Marketing and Communication and work a part time job throughout the week along with an internship. I work in hospitality and besides that, I do for fun is dancing, go to art exhibitions, reading, etc. I love live music and cinema the most. I have been sharing flats since a year ago so I consider I am easy to get along with, tidy, respectful, and also conscious about the conditions of sharing a home. Not only cleaning and respecting, it is also about building honest and friendly communications among the place. About myself -- I am open minded, always keen for good conversations, clean and tidy, responsible and empathic. I think that home is the place to relax and leave away all worries so it is for creating a nice atmosphere.
