Happy, positive and fit person. Clean and tidy so looking for a room mate likewise 😊! Quite reserved during my busy weekdays but happy to socialise on weekends 😊! Respectful of people's space, quietness, property and privacy👌. Looking for a modern new property with private bathroom and no more than 2 other room mates please xx
Im open minded and chill. I'm looking to stay in the Brisbane area, but am open to moving down to the GC to be closer to work. Fairly clean and quite. Looking to move into an established share house or start a new one with some fun and laid back characters. absolute max rent I can afford is $180 per week plus bills. Wouldn't mind a place close to the beach. I'll mostly be at work or uni during the week. I'm not looking for just house mates but also mates too, who would be open to hanging out on weekends. I'm a student and contractor in the profession I study. I also have a casual catering job. Please get in contact if you have any questions or queries.
Clean, respectful and easy going. note- 6 months is selected as a minimal time frame :)
6 mth or more. Very clean. Love to cook. Respectful of others and their space. Looking for something because my current flatter wants her gf to move in. Non smoker....hate smoking. I have LOTS shoes and clothes so something with space would be nice. I dont want to share a bathroom. But otherwise easy going. Not a loud party animal!!! Look forewarned to meeting you.
Hi i am Steven, 29 years old, single easy going, non smoking male who is fit and healthy currently looking for an awesome new place to live . I am working full time and i am a great friendly, respectful , clean and enjoyable housemate to live with :) . I enjoy a positive happy house but certainly not a party house. I like a cleanish place to live especially dust wise lol as i have a low allergy to dust which means i try to keep things tidy and clean. If you have any questions feel free to ask. hope to hear from you soon!
I'm 19 and in my second year of studying a Business degree at QUT. I work two jobs - one in the City and the other in Chermside. I enjoy running, exploring around Brisbane/the Coast, going out a bit and being social, but also relaxing and having my own space when I have work or study to focus on. I’m very easy-going, friendly and considerate of other people's space and privacy. I'm tidy and clean up after myself, and would expect the same from the people I live with. Thanks for taking the time to read this!
Gamer, film student at Griffith in Southbank, quiet, usually keep to myself some nights but like to interact with other people/roommates. I'm friendly, humous, tom-boy. I'm very close to my family as my folk live in VIC, with two older brothers (both LGBT) and as I came out this year. Born and raised in Brisbane. Like catching with friends to talk and watch movies. Like cooking new things and trying different foods. I'm trying to become social active in meeting new friends as I'm trying not to stay curled up my shell and close myself off. It's hard when you have anxiety issues, generalised stress disorder and depression kicking when you are down. On the positive side of this, studying will allow to meet and interact with other people both in uni and hopefully, outside as well. And hopefully, subside the negative feeling away.
Planning ahead for June/July! – my current lease ends in early-July. I'm an international student from Canada studying Pharmacy at UQ. I can lean towards huge introvert, which is great if you're looking for a quiet roommate. I spend about half my time online and the other half on campus. I know some folks are really keen on their roommate being a part of their social circle - if we click, great, but I'm not necessarily looking for my roommate to be my new best friend. I prefer living on my own, but between international tuition and part time hours I can't justify the rent premium indefinitely. Ideally, there's someone like-minded that's also fairly simple and straightforward and we can go from there.
***Please be aware of the move date*** I am a teacher, currently studying my masters full-time. This means I am home a lot when not working (short-term contracts), visiting family or travelling. For the most part, I put most of my energy into my research. I am looking to share with 1 or 2 like-minded females (or landlord couple/family). I can live with: * females (quiet, respectful) * non-smokers (non-negotiable) * no partying, excessive drinking, etc * drug-free household * a cat I want to live somewhere where I feel safe and comfortable. Basically someone who has a lifestyle that doesn't impose on mine, or impact my overall well-being. I appreciate others with similar values, and are considerate of their housemates. I have a long-term partner who lives away for work, so no random overnight guests on my part. I like: * a tidy home * tv/netflix/board games/reading in my downtime, I am sociable but a frugal introvert at heart * hikes and walks in groups * cooking (but this is often a once-a-week meal prep) * yoga * sense of humour * people who are down-to-earth - not afraid to communicate in order to achieve balance and happiness in the house. If sharing with a landlord couple (preferably separate living spaces i.e. upstairs/downstairs) - I am able to pay my rent well in advance in exchange for a rent reduction. I know you have bills to pay too so if you're looking for a reliable income, I can give you that piece of mind!
I'm a pretty easy going person. I'm a UQ law graduate and work in the public service. I work full time in the city and go out most of the time when I'm not at work. I like to go to the gym, and go travelling. It would be great to share with someone who doesn't mind a quiet drink or two. I do need a car space - sorry, no on street parking. I also need my own bathroom. Also I am only interested in places with 2 or 3 tenants total. Happy to 'teamup' to get a good place. Send me a message for more info.
Hi! My furniture and I are looking for an awesome flatmate to share a comfortable, well equipped place close to Southbank! I like having wine on the balcony and am not a bad cook. I work on a 7 day roster, a bit of an introvert but friendly :) If you think I would be a good fit for your place, I need undercover parking and aircon in bedroom. Would like to bring my fridge and furniture.
**Undercover Parking required, please!** I am laid back, respectful and all about communication. Alongside that i really value Honesty and being fair which is all integral for a happy household. I generally keep busy with a full time job and busy social life so when I am home and locked away in my room it's because I'm super sleepy! I don't mind sharing toilet paper, and oils and all of that as long as everyone is fair. Courtesy is also key. In my experiences in house share I have really grown to appreciate knowing how clean someone is especially in the kitchen and bathroom. Pretty easy going overall anyway and I don't mind if anyone has friends over. All about a happy home!
hey !!! my name is mujtaba but people call me "muj".n about me , laid back kind a person at the same time creative, ambitious, motivator and always up for laugh's. Fitness conscious person (gym, swimming, etc ) whatever floats my fitness boat!
We're both medical students from the UK on placement at hospitals in brisbane. Up for a laugh and making the most of our time out of the hospital, keen to experience some Australian life while we're here
Full time health professional who love a good vintage cheddar and glass of vino while talking all things español, travel and yoga :) I am looking for a new place with great housemates - private, unfurnished room with own bathroom.
21 year old PhD candidate (Chemistry) looking for a place close to QUT GP for a much shorter commute. I am not very far into my PhD so I am looking for something long term preferably. I spend 45+ hours a week working on my PhD at uni and am sustained financially by a research training program scholarship and demonstrating/RA work at the uni. When I'm not working I generally enjoy simply relaxing, fitting in exercise and occasionally meeting friends. I'm reasonably neat and tidy and typically try to keep any temporary mess to myself and away from communal areas. I have also at times lived with my sister who is a registered nurse so I am familiar with the needs of people who work nights and sleep during the day. I'm fairly flexible in terms of sociability as I enjoy a friendly environment and nice conversation as well as personal space and quiet. Can move now or in a couple months time.
Hi, I'm a UQ student looking for accommodation in November. I've been on a lease at the same place for 3 years so I know how to look after a place! -Internet access required (Fibre a plus) -Furnished prefered -Close to UQ St. Lucia Campus -Am studying B.A of Science - I am quite and am usually on my computer in my room or playing my xbox. I'm still sociable though! -I like to live in a clean and tidy space and respect my living space
Changed my mind, not looking right now I am looking to settle in Brisbane for a while because this is where my much adored niece is based. I have a housetrained desexed cat, goes by the name of Pixie or hey you. The cat is unfortunately not other cat or dog friendly, she had some bad experiences when young and as a result does not play well with others. I how ever am well used to sharing, cleaning up after myself and paying my bills on time. I have some furniture, kitchen stuff and some electrics. Not a smoker, big drinker or death metal singer-along-with-at 2am -er. Looking for like minded non Trump supporters to make a home with. Any extra info I am happy to share, but feel that some actual human interaction i.e. ph or face to face, would be more illuminating. Thanks for your time :) P.S I am a hetero female who couldn't care less who or what floats your boat, provided adult consent is involved :)

In the weekends i love going hiking, socialising with friends, downtime i binge watch tv series. I have recently started part-time study, so that will take priority first. We are open with the moving date, it could be from the middle of May till June Cheers, Mona and David
Hi, I'm Jess. I'm currently living on the Gold Coast but I'm about to begin work as a Travel Agent at Griffith Uni at Nathan, and want to move closer to avoid the commute. Reasons why I'm a great housemate: I have excellent taste in tv shows, and am willing to discuss and develop crazy fan theories with you. I like to be social but I'm not a party animal, going to the pub for a few drinks and listening to some live music or having a relaxing bbq are my ideas of fun. I've lived in many share houses before so I know how important it is to respect my fellow housemates, clean up after myself, take the rubbish out when it's full and I will only squash it down and hope the next person will take it out occasionally :/ I'm an easy-going and positive person. In my spare time I love being outdoors, hiking, exploring national parks and taking roadtrips. I also love going out for a nice meal, trying to find the perfect cup of coffee and reading a good book. Looking for somewhere furnished, a short-drive to Griffith Uni Nathan, or even better within walking distance.
