A clean and respectful couple looking for a room! My name is Karma and I work in Marketing. My partner Dejon is a pilot in training, working at the airport. We are social and love to explore on the weekends, but also enjoy our privacy, especially during the week. We are very easy going and easy to get along with, and both ride motor bikes for commuting and leisure.
I am 28 yrs old female from San Diego, California! I've been on a working holiday visa for over 7 months now and have been living in Cairns for the majority of that time! I am bartending at a local brewery in Brissy. I am very clean and happy to abide by any and all house rules. I'm quite social however intuitively respectful of personal space. Looking for a furnished room in a sharehouse with clean and social flatmates.
I am looking for a place to call home. I'm a pretty shy and quiet person, however I am open to making friends and hanging out. I am very open minded, looking to live with people who are the same, don't feel too comfortable with intolerance or hate. I'm 21, working casually/part time, still finding an ambition to pursue. I keep all shared spaces and items clean and tidy and expect the same from potential housemates. Looking to stay within a similar area (currently in Wooloowin), so North side/within 40 mins of the valley, however open to rooms on the South if they're the right fit in other aspects so please send me a message if you have a room to fill. I love any and all animals so if you have any pets that is more than fine with me. I live with pretty severe anxiety/ depression, which sounds bad at first, but it has made me very conscious of my impact on others, so if you're looking for a housemate who's not going to be noisy/disrespectful/cause issues in your home tranquillity then I think I'd be a perfect fit for you.
30 years old, Scottish, scuba diving dog lover living and working in Brisbane for a couple of months. I am tidy, clean and respectful. I love to meet new people as I’m a sociable person. My ideal new flatmates would like to be able to relax in each other’s company and enjoy the occasional drink together but also understand when we all need our own space.
Hello, this is Yun, a Taiwanese 26 year old girl, looking for a place to stay. I am taking my courses of aviation maintenance with the Aviation Australia from January 2020. I love music, cooking, language and culture exchanging. I hope to hear from you soon and know more about the house and everything, thank you!
My name is Darcie (20) and my partner Ryan (24) and I are looking for somewhere to live! We are a couple but don't do the whole PDA thing and are fairly independent. I'm an art student who paints a lot, Ryan is a physio student so we're pretty busy with that. We both work part-time, I work nights at a restaurant and am in a band that practices 1-2 times a week. Ryan picks up casual trade work and sometimes goes away for work. We both love to listen to and play music a fair bit. I like to think we are pretty cool, genuine people who are laid back and generally quiet but are always down for a good time!
Work full time in Sales and Retail in a small business selling trailer and auto parts, which is located in Northgate. Need to live closer to work so I don’t have to pay tolls and drive an hour to work everyday. Easy going and laid back person. been in Queensland for a bit Less than 2 years, so I don’ t know many people outside of my family who are spread throughout south east Queensland. Originally from the outskirts of Sydney. Starting to go to the gym a couple of days a week again. Clean after myself, not much bothers me. Good for a chat about various topics and a drink on weekends if you are a social person or I can keep to myself if you aren’t because I’m more of an introvert. But I love my sport so keen to have a few beers watching nrl, cricket on weekends to relax. Also could be away with family camping on weekends exploring south east Qld.
I am quiet and very clean. I'm friendly and I work full time as well as go to the gym a lot. I like being social and also like my privacy. I have my dog and I do smoke but strictly only outside. I'm basically a positive happy person who works hard and loved a good laugh.
Hi Potential New Housemate, My name is John, I'm a 24yrs old Dutch guy who's in Australia since May 2018. To give you an impression of my time in Australia I decided to devide my stay here into periods: - May 2018 - October 2018 The first five months of my stay I have traveled the whole continent by car, together with a friend of mine. After he went back to Amsterdam I decided to stay in Australia for a longer time. - October 2018 - May 2019 To make this possible I had to fulfill my 88 days of farmwork requirements, which I did in the Sunshine Coast. I lived together with the couple Tommy & Jon (40+) in The Glass House Mountains for seven months. A one week AirBnb-stay turned into a small gay household for more than seven months, the best period of my life! - May 2019 - November 2019 Back home in The Netherlands I have worked as an IKEA Sales man for 4 years, so it was an easy step to work for IKEA in Brisbane as well. As soon as my farmwork requirements were fulfilled and my Visa extension was approved I moved to Camp Hill, Brisbane. I've worked as a CheckOut coworker for 6 months at IKEA Logan. - November 2019 - Future At the moment I'm working as a Sales Coworker again at IKEA North Lakes. I'm living in the beautiful area of Lutwyche together with my housemate. Unfortunately the lease of our appartent will run out in January 2020 and the rental company doesn't allow us to stay another five months (only 12 months extentions are allowed...), so I need to search for another place to live for the last 4,5 months of my stay in Australia. My contract at IKEA North Lakes is 40+ hours, what means that I'm away for work a lot. I have my own car as well, so that makes me fully independant. I'm aiming for a place to stay at the Northside of the river where I can stay till the end of my Visa period (May 2020). Are you the potential housemate who can offer that to me? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About myself: My spare time consist of a lot of social activities, because I like to catch up with people and learn from them. I'm not a party type at all, but am always in for a casual drink and a chat. That's also the reason that I don't want to live by myself. It's simply too boring. Unfortunately it's still a necessity to mention nowadays.... I'm gay. All my former housemates were very open minded and also accepted me to invite friends to come over for a casual drink and a sleepover every now and then. Please know that I'm someone with a 'professional'-mindset, what means that I am aware of my housemates, their privacy and happy to adjust myself where possible. It's common sense for me to take part in the house hold tasks. A clean and tidy environment is a must for me. Maybe a bit stereotypical, but that's why I rather live with professionals than with students. I'm very curious what you think about my background and my vision of life. Preferably I want to move in as soon as possible, but am open to dates a little bit further in the future. Wanna grab a coffee to discuss the possibilities? Would like to hear from you. Dutch greetings, Gr. John
Young motivated professional with a staffy. Have a partner and not looking to move into a party environment. Love my own space and keeping a house neat & tidy.
