All my friends are now married, so I'm seeking to share a unit/townhouse with one other person. Preferably two bathrooms and a carpark (although a place with ample street parking is also fine) - these are not a prerequisite however. Looking anywhere Brisbane Inner North (I have listed many example suburb options but not further North than Chermside). Looking to move now, as I have had to extend my lease a further two weeks to Feb 1st. I work at Eagle Farm so closer to there is ideal. I have all the gear required to setup a place (indoor/outdoor furniture, TV, kitchen stuff etc etc), so if you have a place for rent that is already kitted out (or nowhere for me to store) chances are it might be tough for us to manage. Unfortunately it seems many of the rooms listed for rent are also already kitted out. I have storage options available for some of my items but not all, so perhaps something could be negotiated there. Happy to meet up this week to discuss teamup possibilities and gauge suitability. My work is understanding with me needing to find a place to rent so anytime can be arranged. I work as a logistics manager for an IT company have just completed two degrees (Diploma of Graphic Design / Bachelor of Communication Design) in the past 2.5 years. Weekends I like to go to the beach / hiking / visiting friends. I would like to find someone who is open to the possibility doing a bit of meal sharing because I enjoy cooking for others more than myself and I appreciate that communal aspect of it. I like to have a couple of hours later in the weeknight evenings to myself to work on projects / wind down. Flexible with leasing options but would rather something 6months+ Cheers!
Friends since high school, lived in Brisbane 3yrs, if your house is close to public transport we are interested. If you have a cat we are VERY interested. Not a couple. We are looking for two private rooms
A bit about me, I'm from little old Adelaide originally and somewhat new to the big Brisbane city. I'm an apprentice hairdresser working long hours 4 days a week and I spend a little bit of time at my boyfriends house. I'm basically looking for a laidback girl I could get an apartment with somewhere on the north side. I don't have any friends in Brisbane so I'm hoping this site leads me to some hidden gems. I don't go out as often as I would like, apprentice hairdresser doesnt pay like royalty 😂 I'm a huge bass head, I live for trap and dubstep so If your into that PLEASE hit me up! I'm really easy going, I like to have a laugh and socialise but I also like my own space. I just really want to find an place I can call home! I've registered to inspect a few properties over the next few weeks so message me if you're keen to come along and have a look at houses with me :)
I am a happy person who sometimes is very social and other times just like my space. I like keeping busy and doing new and fun things. My Dog Kim is even more likeable than i am and is super super friendly.
I am a male student returning for my second year of study at QUT (Bachelor of Science). I keep to myself, socializing on-campus or at home. All my hobbies are non-disruptive, and I spend a great deal of time socializing with high school friends over the internet. I appreciate my own area where I can carry out study, however I don't mind having conversation at all. I am a non-smoker, non-drinker, and will not be hosting house parties. I need a place which - Has a decent internet connection, as I spend a decent amount of time online Comes pre-furnished with at least a bed and desk Is in close proximity to public transport, which would allow me to commute without a car.
Hi, my name is Jamie Aisthorpe and I am a game developer based in Brisbane. My lease will be running out at the end of April and this time I want to move in with like minded people. Originally from WA bush. I have come to enjoy the Brisvagas lifestyle and what it has to offer. I usually get referred as the gental giant of the group cause I'm 6"5' and even tempered. As being a game maker, my life revolves around games and game development. I like every bit of it and currently I teach it full time in the CBD. Outside of that bubble, I enjoy a variety of hobbies from the outdoors, electronics, art, video making, music and a bunch of other stuff. If you would like to see, my internet alias is Aisjam, google it. Some other points about me - I can be sociable to have a good time or reclusive to leave others in peace. - I like to cook. mainly savoury, some sweets - Handy with tools. I do a lot of projects - Don't smoke or do drugs, not much of a drinker too. - Open minded, patient and even tempered - Tell it like it is - House trained :P, I have been renting for 5 years with others. What I am really looking for is to join with a bunch of other creatives, people who pursue there passion. to space where we can create together. I am working on my social medias and youtube so I do a bit of recording, however it would be cool to team up. So what do I need? I need a decent sized space to fit my equipment and living stuff. depending on what is needed, I have some white goods and furniture that can come along Walking distance to transport (prefer train/ ferry) and shops. recording time, this does make noise but i keep it to a minimum and don't do it at stupid hours. What are some extras that would be cool? a lockable space. You have some serious brownie points? a workshop/ garage to do some stuff. a majority of my work I do in my room, some times I take it to hacker space. be nice to not have to move it. What are some deal breakers. - can't live with students due to teaching. - drugs that is all If there is anything you would like to ask. Please feel free to leave me a message. I look forward to meeting you.
Hello, we are a fun loving couple, who are looking for another couple or single person to join us in our search for a trendy place to live close to the city... We respect peoples space and the environment we live in, like to keep neat and tidy and want the people living with us to be the same. That being said we tend to bomb the kitchen most nights as we are pretty keen foodies and experimenting in the kitchen whilst listening to good tunes is what makes us a happy couple! We are both pretty active, go for runs around the park nearly every afternoon and hit the beach, surf and kitesurf whenever the weather is good! We have a pretty good balance between keeping to ourselves and having quiet nights in and when the occasion calls BBQs and dinner parties with friends. Avid travelers and adventurers.
Probably only stay two nights a week. I wont be around on Weekends. I work from 8-5 weekdays as a Building supervisor. I am great with people, clean and quiet.
27 year-old journalism student at UQ searching for housemates around my age to live with who are fun, independent and socially like-minded. I like to run, head on roadtrips out bush, great at cooking, currently do surf lifesaving on the Gold Coast, takes dance classes and being well-travelled to places like the US. Hi, I'm a working professional looking to rent an apartment or townhouse - either with house mates or on my own. I work in the government full time, and generally work longer hours. I go to the gym most afternoons as well and also like to relax on the couch. Weekends I like to either get away up the coast to the beach, or hang out with friends. As much as I love them, I'm allergic to cats so would prefer place that didn't have them (puppies are fine 😉).

Hi, my name is Chloe and I am a 24 year old stablehand who is studying to be a Vet and works very long hours! My girlfriend lives in Newstead so I spend most of my time here when I am not at work. I absolutely love to cook and spend time outdoors and am a clean freak! I am looking for a place with my own bathroom and somewhere my girlfriend can stay occasionally with me. I start work at 3am 13 days a fortnight so am never up late or making much noise. I have no pets but am open if you do. It is essential to me that I have my own bathroom and a built in robe and I am open to both furnished and unfurnished rooms. I can move in from now onwards and would be looking to put down a maximum of 2 weeks bond.
I'm a young professional who works in admin and also does freelance content writing for a major marketing company. I love dogs and cats so if you have any I will shower them with affection! I enjoy good food and wine, eating out, live music, and getting out and about in nature. I'm clean, tidy and quiet, but I do enjoy hanging out and socialising. I'm a Full-time CBD worker and part-time Personal Trainer. I'm very easy going, fit, a good cook, tidy and outgoing. I really enjoy a drink (mainly wine), either out or at home, and love to have a laugh. I get along with everyone, except for uptight people and morons.
I am currently living in a share apartment with a small courtyard and am wanting to move somewhere with a big fenced backyard (with a pool if possible) so that my dog Baxter can have a happier life being able to run around outside. So looking for somewhere that is happy to have a dog to play with. My current lease doesn't end until February 2017 so if a great option comes up then will look at breaking the lease or replacing me however if not I will not be ready to move until 23 Feb 2017. Also interested in teaming up to find a new place. Baxter is only 10 months but the sweetest natured dog I have ever met. Great with adults, children and other animals. He is medium/large and a Cattle Dog x German Short Haired Pointer x Border Collie x Kelpie. He is currently an inside pet but will be converting him to an outside dog mainly but want a place that is happy to have him inside still for cuddles, to sleep a few night a week and when it is bad weather. I have my own creative and consulting business and work mainly from home so looking for a place with a largish room that I can also use as my workspace. I am hopefully enrolling in part-time study next year to do biomedical science at UQ so I will most likely have my nose in books or my computer working a fair chunk of the time. I'm not really a party-goer but like an environment that has a homely vibe where everyone can have a laugh and get along but also happy to have their own time too. I love hiking, travel, being outside, exploring/trying new things. Also regularly take Baxter to the Nudgee dog beach so trying to find a place close to the river to go for walks or hikes at Mt Coot-tha or close to a dog friendly park. Needs to above the river as most my commitments are there and I want to avoid paying tolls or long travel time daily. Most important thing to know about me is I am considerate and polite and respectful of others in share accommodation and get along with most people. Love learning new things, cultures, and people. But, I can't stand liars, rude, contradicting or untrustworthy people so if that's you maybe skip past me.. ;p
