The best thing about living with my two previous roommates is that we became really good friends so I would like to meet someone who I will get along with. I have lived out of home since I was 17 years old. For the past two years, I have lived with two girls in Viewbank and we had the most awesome time! Unfortunately, we have to part ways and move onto bigger and better things as they have finished uni and are moving interstate. I work full-time in a fire compliance company in the city so I am very busy during the week. I am up around 6 am for the gym and then I am at work until 5ish. I am pretty tame most of the time but know how to have a good time once every while haha. I am happy to have a wine and socialize with my flatmates, however, I also enjoy my own time just as much. In my spare time, you will find me either netflixing, travelling or working on my business venture. Send me a message if you think we would be a good match and let's meet up!
FLEXIBLE WITH MY CHOSEN SUBURBS/AREAS and also with length of stay, flexible with a lot of things so just ask if you like! Flexible on move in date - I can move in ASAP or in a few weeks/a month if you're the right fit! ---------------- I'm Dani! I'd like to think I'm a really down to earth person who can get along with most people. I love having a real chat, connecting with others and having a laugh. I also do love my own time alone. I love to just chill in my room and focus on my own hobbies/interests, but also love going on walks, exploring new areas, good food and good company. I'm a fairly quiet gal overall, totally neat and respectful of everyone's space. I'm happy and comfortable with shared silence and don't feel the need to always talk, but I still love a good chat! I'm big on cleanliness and hygiene but I'm not extremely anal/OCD level about it. I'm honestly not a complainer and find the positives in most things, pretty happy-go-lucky all round :) ---------------- I'm a social research interviewer. I work pretty much every evening from 3-9pm, sometimes day from 9am-3pm, and both Saturday and Sundays I work 11-5pm. My hours vary here and there but majority of the time its evening work during the week and day work on weekends. ---------------- I have a 10 year old pooch named Pickles. He likes to just sit around and meditate for hours either outside or on your lap haha. He is timid around strangers at first (well, usually.. there's been times he warms up to someone straight away) but once you get to know him he's just the sweetest boy who wants to give you pure love and affection. He is house trained and never tears apart/destroys anything in the house (seriously he's never done this in his life). He's easy to live with, mostly just sleeps and lazes around the house/outside but does absolutely love his walks! ***He's not great around other animals unfortunately! So I'm really sorry but I can't have him living with other pets! *** PLEASE bare this in my mind before messaging me, if you have other pets.. I would love someone who is also an animal lover and would genuinely enjoy being around him. I would really love a place that has at least a small backyard for him to go outside in. overall I'm just a really chilled out person who would love to be around like-minded individuals so we can create a nice, happy home together. All I'd really like is a warm, friendly face to come home to.
Hi! I'm Chris, a 25yo Male, working full time as a Mechanical Engineer in Vermont. I am a fairly quite and respectable person who lives an active lifestyle. I enjoy exercise during the week and having a beer or two on the weekend. Ideally I'd like to move somewhere South of the Ring Road, East of High st and North of the eastern, however I'm not overly attached to this if the right place comes up. I'd like to live with only 1-2 other people.
We are a student couple from Denmark who will be studying for a semester at La Trobe University. We are looking for a place to stay from July/August to November/December. Maja (Maya), 23, is studying sustainable design engineering and William, 22, is studying History. We have been living together in an apartment with a third roomate for 2 years, and a fourth roommate for a year, so we are used to live with flatmates. We like to play board games, go for coffee, sports, watch movies/tv shows, go for walks/hikes and cook. Apart from that Maja plays the piano, badminton and likes to read. William watches football (somewhere mispronounced as soccer), play videogames and goes running. Furthermore we are excellent at cleaning up after ourselves, we won't be hosting parties or have people over all of the time, but do enjoy a beer from time to time. We are looking for a place we can share with some chill and tidy flatmates who might enjoy to play a game or some food once in a while, but also respect privacy. Since we won't be arriving in Melbourne before the 15th of July, we will not be able to inspect the rooms, nor have a personal meeting in advance, but we hope that a skype meeting or something similar can be arranged :-D
Hi, I've just moved to Melbourne from Germany to start my PhD in cancer research at the ONJ in Heidelberg. I am looking for a easy-going, respectful and clean person like myself to live with. I would be up for occasional cookings or dinners together but also appreciate time for myself.
Hey there, name's Georgia. I'm a huge fan of live music, so on the weekends I'm likely hanging out with mates or hitting up a gig of some sort. Also like my own time to chill out watch some flix (standard). Huge fan of good food too, going out for and cooking it. Don't mind a cheeky glass of red with the right dish. Mon - Fri, I'm a professional who works full time in marketing. I'm respectful, kind and enjoy a laugh. Looking for easy going housemates, and a good set up with relatively easy access to transport. Have a few indoor plants that would be coming along🌱 Have grown up on acreage, so preferably looking for a place with a bit of space 😊
I'm Ryan, 27, full time electrical engineer working for an electric vehicles startup. I like music, going to gigs/festivals, having beers and hanging out, I try to do the right thing by the environment and the people around me. My weeks are usually pretty busy with work and social activities (mixed netball, bouldering, dinners etc) and then on the weekend I like to spend a bit of time chilling out at home. Looking to move within the next month or so. Would be open to the idea of finding like minded people and establishing a new place. I'm working in Dandenong but want to be close to Melbourne, ideally looking around Northcote/Clifton Hill as a starting point. Moving out of my current place so that both of us can move slightly closer to our respective workplaces. I can bring to a new house: -A good selection of house plants/succulents -A whole shedload of tools -A washing machine, microwave and TV Some things that I'd really like in a place: -Garage/Workshop space for tinkering -Prefer a smaller share house (2-3 people would be ideal) -NBN or fast internet -Parking (quiet street or driveway spot preferred) It shouldn't need to even be said but I don't want to live with dickheads, no racism/sexism/homopobia/transphobia/nazism etc...
I'm clean and tidy, pay my rent on time and am always up for a good chat. I also know boundaries though, so I know when people need their personal space. I'm employed full time so rent won't be an issue. I enjoy exercising, going out every now and then and watching Netflix, plus a bit of gaming every now and then.
Im easy going, friendly. I clean up after myself and enjoy a chat
Big sports fan that Work full time in Keysborough Monday to Friday at an early time so usually quiet at night until the weekend where I'll have a good time but respectful of others feel free to message me
Hello there. I am seeking a home to share with community minded, creative beings who are interested in co-creating a peaceful, harmonious, easy-going, tidy, respectful, loving and nurturing space together. I am currently undertaking a Graduate Diploma in Psychology and as well completing my Kundalini Yoga training program. My hobbies and interests are in : spirituality, philosophy, healing, well-being (meditation, yoga, nutrition, kirtan, natural therapies, etc..), conscious dance, sacred music, films, art, reading, being in nature, eating out, travel, singing and pretty much any workshop or book on self-development that allows me to learn more about myself, others and improve who I am as a person. I am honest, mature and respectful of others space, and also seeking the same from others. I am also drug and alcohol free, and would prefer a home of open, authentic, conscious connections and communication with one another. I am not fussed about living with others who enjoy a wine over a meal, but definitely not interested in a party house. I am interested in a quiet space where I can study, as well as, re-charge and unwind. I would enjoy a conversation, meal or outing with fun-loving housemates every so often. As well as a tidy space, where we all contribute in keeping the environment clean and tidy for all. A home near public transport services is a necessity, preferably train and tram services. An unfurnished room and additional storage space would be ideal. I am vegan and would prefer a vegan and/or vegetarian household. I have lived with meat-eaters before though that are respectful and understanding. I also volunteer in assisting with and marketing events within the conscious Melbourne community, as well as activism for the welfare and rights of animals. I am more than happy to live with cats, and the more the merrier :)
I am a very hard worker so I will be out and about a lot working and have a large network of friends so I socialise too. I love my nights in watching a movie and a nice dinner at home ( I am a great cook hahah). I do lots of work for charity and am compassionate to others. I love a good laugh and a bottle of wine that goes with that over a home cooked meal sometimes. I always clean up after myself and like an environment that is calm and peaceful. I do have a beautiful quiet cat who sleeps a lot but has the most loving personality. Everyone that meets her loves her she must be accepted into my new home with me. I run events here and there, I am a nanny with tutoring added and I also conduct life coaching sessions. I am in a real happy place in my life just need somewhere to call home.
Greetings future friend(s)! I'm Charlie and I'm a finance administrator who loves animals and plants. I also love a good glass of red, knitting, reading, yoga and baking. I've never missed a day of rent, I'm not a clean-freak but I DO clean, and I like going out almost as much as I like staying in. I'm looking for folks that I can have a good laugh with (inside or outside of the house), share cleaning duties, and are just generally easy to communicate with. I'd love to meet and chat if you're keen - if you've got questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
My name is Erin Round. I am a graphic designer and I work to contracts through a creative agency. I am relaxed and fairly quiet, but do enjoy the company of others. I have no preference when it comes to living with smokers and pets. I am currently single. I am looking to find somewhere to live as soon as possible.
I am looking for a new place to live preferably closer to where my family and friends live, for the convenience sake. I am 23 years of age and am also a very respectful person and expect the same in return. Im also a very clean person, I like to keep everything around me neat and tidy, even while I own 2 very cute dogs! that are also going to be moving with me. They have such a gorgeous nature to them and will try smother you with kisses and affection. They are both very well trained!.They dont chew things nor do they dig. They might bark once or twice if they were to see another dog but that's about it. Myself I am currently unemployed, that's because ive been caring for my sick nan for the last year BUT have already started looking for work (with already a couple opportunities) I am on Centrelink but DO get payed enough to pay for rent and bills and also support myself and my 2 dogs.. I also like to socialize and go see my mates and on the odd occasion go out and have a drink or 2. If you can give me a chance to come for an inspection i promise i wont let you down..
Hi, I'm friendly, kind, empathetic, neat and tidy, clean...like OCD clean, but not in a bad way haha. I'm sociable, but also enjoy some time out to myself, but I'm usually out and about. I enjoy cooking and I am happy to cook for you! I'm honnest, reliable and helpful, I love to help others in any way I can, that's why I'm going to either finish studying nursing or a field of helping. As I say "a simple act of kindness can go a long way". I just moved here from Cairns. I used to be a competitive gymnast from a young age and started coaching at 14yrs old, and was coaching up until I was in an accident, 7 months ago. I'm currently living off disability benefits as I currently can't work with my injuries but don't let that discourage you as it's an adequate amount to live off and I always pay my bills on time, rent paid first. Which soon-ish I'll be looking for work or to study. I'm a reliable person to live with, so please give me a chance. I'm looking to live with at least one female and require a furnished room please. I need the option to have a double bed due to my bad back please and thank you. Thanks, Izzie

PhD student and casual academic at Deakin University! I am from Oman (YouTube/Google it and you will love it) I finished my bachelor in Oman, master in Germany and now doing my PhD in Australia. My brother Ahmed will be living with me during his language course I love coffee and hangout specifically next to the beaches. I like to share meals with my flatmates. I like walking, running, swimming, boxing, spinning and tennis. I am busy with my research during the week and hang out at the weekends. I like the place I'm living in to be clean and tidy and to be able to call it home. My flatmates must be: - clean and tidy (including keeping the common area, toilets, and kitchen clean and tidy) My flatmates preferred (not a must) to be: - speak French, Spanish or German (I know some of each, and I want to practice them in our free time)
We're a friendly, flexible and quiet couple, interested in hanging out and experience sharing with others. Our favorite leisure activities include not exclude to reading books, musics and traveling. We're both Electrical Engineers.
Have my own place which I rent out. Pay bills & rent on time Am reliable , good around the house and overall like to keep busy but have my own interests too. Have the means too to start up a place (new) with another likeminded individual so I could be looking to explore other options. ? Obviously looking for a good fit but happy to work toward that as a goal if the situation calls for it. ....... for now I'd be happy to live in a house where we'd have a normal lounge and dining. Not just looking for a roof over my head as I already have that,. but a home I can be part of & contribute to. Strictly no druggies / druggos , whatever else you want to call them, no smoking house,. and no binge drinking household either, being either social or otherwise. If you're kind , considerate & dont take yourself too serious we'll get along fine. We 're all on a journey & getting there is only half the fun. If I can a place that includes utilities in the cost of rent that'd be great? ! . Happy to pay a bit more for the right place though. Open too to other areas! Have a car so I need a place for it , even if its on the street. My motto for life is ....live , laugh , love! Thanks for reading. John, Stas
Hey future roomie/s!! My name is Peta (pronounced like the hunger games Peeta.. not pet-a). I'm 20 years old and currently working part time in-between 2 jobs and babysitting a bit in-between. I am currently living in the northern suburbs with family/friends but am hoping to find a much more permanent place to call home (and hopefully meet some kick-arse roommates as well). I'm looking for preferably a house with a backyard as I love to have a bit of outdoor energy with me! Not too fussed about the size of the room or if its furnished or not, just want a groovy and calm place to come home to after work and chill. I have lived in share houses before and I was a bit of a neat freak so I hope I can find some other pals who are as clean as I am of shared areas in the house. I am super respectful of other peoples spaces and love a bit of time to myself as well. I work quite a lot so I keep myself pretty busy during the days depending on the times of my shifts. This also means that with my current jobs, that yes - I can pay rent on time and all the time. I'm a pretty easy going gal, most of the time I'll be out of the house at work or keeping myself busy, but in my down time I love to chill out at home and binge watch some TV, maybe do a bit of reading, writing and gardening if there's space for it as well! I come as a package deal with my 1 year old rag doll cat called Alaska. She is probably the most cuddliest cat you will meet and if I'm not at home then I'm sure she will find comfort in your bed with you where she will most likely attempt to sleep on your face. Hope I haven't bored ya'll out of your brain. Please - like pretty please with a cherry on top - message me if you think I might be match for your place!! Bless xx
Hi guys I'm Ray! I'm a law and commerce student at Latrobe and a analyst at the bank. I'm extremely clean, love to workout and chill out at home. I have my own car so would love a flatmate who would love to go exploring with me. I've been living in Melbourne all my life however it was time for me to move away from the South Eastern Suburbs and start my new journey. I would describe myself as a very chill person, I love cooking and working out. If you like Curry my mum will make us some a lot!
Clean and friendly. Gives people there own space. Will be busy mostly with either uni or work. I play league or watch Netflix on other times else cook. Would be Keen if someone would wanna play pool and hangout otherwise it's fine. I work at La Porchetta Doreen and also working on self project. Team up on renting out apartments would be the best thing I would say. 😁
I'm a bit of a geek: books, tv, boardgames etc. If you're into that too.... Great! If not, I'm sure we'll get along. I've lived in households of up to 5/6 before and always got along well with everyone. Did my share and all that. I'm a new teacher, about to start at anew school, so I'm just looking for places with good transport options.
Hey future housemate(s)! I'm a very busy lady working three jobs [Liquor Assistant at BWS; Support Worker at Parkglen, and; Monthly Donor Tele-Fundraiser at the Australian Youth Climate Coalition] while I try and get my dream career started with my recently acquired Environmental Science degree and I have two furbabies, 8 year old Rusky (Kelpie X) and 5 year old Nala (DSH). In my spare time I can be found with my friends or family (or my pets!), running and boxing, or enjoying the outdoors : ) I like a good party but I'm not looking for a party house -- home to me is a place of solitude and calm to balance out my fast-paced lifestyle. It is important to me that housemates respect communal areas, have compatible schedules (i.e. for us not be needing the bathroom and kitchen at the same time most days), and most importantly to be a friendly environment.
Hey there, I’m jojo and a Swiss girl. Easy going and open for new adventures. Like to have a place I can call home, feel comfortable with and is nice and tidy. As a dancer my day is usually fully planned and has a routine but I like to socialize, have a good laugh and good times .
