Hi. I'm moving to Sydney at the beginning of April to start a new job as a radiation therapist at Frenchs Forest. I'm looking at moving to the Northern suburbs of Sydney around Chatswood. I'm a friendly, easy to live with person who likes to spend time with friends and family, bake and explore new places. I am looking forward to sharing with likeminded people who don't mind an occasional night out or a night in watching movies with wine. I will need to be somewhere with on or off street parking as I will have a car which will be needed to get to work each day. I can provide rental references if needed. Please message me if you want any more details :)
Keep to myself. Social. Self sufficient. Quiet. Considerate of others and their space. Work 8 hours a day. Electrical Tradesman.
Heya, I'm Abby, a 23 year old student currently studying in Canberra. I have myself a 2 month Hospital placement in Sydney starting in August. So I'm finding myself a second home for the 2 months! I am an easy going person who enjoys socialising with friends and family but also need some down time myself. I enjoy netflix, youtube, the occassional yoga and currently trying to get back into reading. I consider myself quite tidy and clean but not excessively so. If you think I will fit your place well, please send me a message :)
Hi! My name is Cristiano and I am looking for a single room in nice atmosphere house. I am going to apply to English exam soon for immigration purposes. I am friendly and easy going.
Father and daughter both from central coast looking for a place to stay in city because we both have jobs in the city. We are looking for somewhere reliable and quiet.
I work full time in operations and logistics, neat and tidy, social, own a little dog, easy going personality, loves to hike, kayak and keep active throughout the week. Looking for a place with people who want to share for 6 months or more.
Hello! I am a fresh uni graduate who will be working in a multinational firm starting in July. Therefore, I am looking flatmates to share a house/apartment with. I love cooking, working out, watching Youtube and outdoor sports. I am keen to meet new people from all walks of life. I can speak fluent English, Cantonese and Mandrin. Love Spanish culture and Japanese food! I have a few requirements listed below: 1.)I'd like to move in around mid June 2.)Within 10 minutes walking to train station 3.)Pets are welcome 4.)Sorry no smokers
I have been living in shared flats since I was studying at Uni. I am friendly, respectful, easy going and generally a smiling person. I work full time in law in the city which keeps my weekdays quite busy. On the weekend I try to be active as I can with ballet and pilates. I also enjoy brunches, going to different events and markets with friends on the weekends.
Hey! I'm a final-year university student currently in the inner west but looking to cross the bridge for the north shore until I finish my degree in November. I am a pretty quiet guy who will largely keep to myself whilst I try to study/binge-watch TV, but also happy to have a chat and be a generally friendly flatmate. Am also pretty handy in the kitchen (and will clean up as I go!) so there's that bonus. My girlfriend lives out of town so I will not be home on quite a number of weekends, but occasionally she will visit for a night in Sydney. Anyway, if you have questions let me know!
Hi! I am a 27 year old student at Macquarie studying to be a secondary school teacher. I am looking to find a place to live that I can share with at least one other person. I will be studying for 6 months and then re-evaluating my living situation. Look forward to meeting some like minded people.
Hi there, I am a 22 year old student at Macquarie University, studying a Bachelor of Medical Sciences in my first year. I am very quiet and keep to myself, I'm honestly not much of a talker and value my privacy. I consider myself a bit of a phantom housemate - rarely seen or heard. I do have a boyfriend that I like to spend time with, but otherwise I don't party or like to have people over. I spend most of my time studying and listening to music, however you won't have to put up with my tastes as I'm aware that sound travels throughout a house and so keep it down, especially at night. I am also a very strict non-smoker and non-drinker. I am generally tidy and clean up after myself, both in my own room and in common areas. I can happily live with cats, though dogs will have to be on a case-by-case basis. I can supply all of my own things like towels, plates/bowls/cutlery and bedding, so the only things I would need to share would be a washing machine, dryer and fridge. I am looking for a preferably unfurnished room, a large room is preferred, as I am a bit of a hermit and tend to live in my room, so being able to comfortably fit a double bed and a desk is a must, however a furnished room is also okay. Anywhere along the North Shore, Northern and Western line is ideal, from about North Sydney to Epping and Hornsby as that would keep me close to uni. ~15 minutes away from a train station would be ideal. My rental budget is a maximum of $200/week, or $250/week if bills and utilities are included. I hope to meet you and become a great housemate! - Blake
First of all, I'm a dog person so I'm willing to walk your lovely dog in the morning. I'm also very easy going, I'd like share meals together and chill out with you after you finish your work. I respect people's personal space. Also I'm keen on everything clean and tidy so I will keep your place in this way as well. I have a 2 years old rabbit named Sesame, she's adorable, quiet and very clean, no smell at all.
In a fortnight I'm making the move to Sydney (from Melbourne) for a journo job. I'm well into swing-dancing and outdoor adventures but equally satisfied doing homey things like baking! Friends have described me as Bear Grylls in a bikini, but in reality I oscillate between tame crafternoons and outdoor shenanigans.
I am a sunny and active person from Estonia. I find myself to be pretty easy going and independent, I laugh a lot. I enjoy spending time with friends and meeting new people. I am a tidy individual, who is used to cleaning up right away after myself.
Hi, my 16 year old dog and myself are looking for a lovely quiet home. Need to move this weekend urgently, but only need a month as we have decided we are going to live on the Gold Coast. I work on the northern beaches, do many different hours due to a few different jobs, day and some evening shifts and needing a quiet and relaxing environment to spend my time off in. I'm not a party person, but enjoy socializing when i get the time. I'm into holistic lifestyle and Very open minded, respectful of others. I am an Art Therapist and also work in Disabilities. A fenced yard for my doggie whilst I'm at work but not essential, and a bit of storage would be handy. I hope someone can help us out, cheers ;)
A little bit about myself: Hey guys, my name is Jayden. A yr 2 nursing student in ACU. Love to watch and do some sports, hv couple drinks beside my study life. Fun, chilled, tidy and easy going, that's what I'm. Currently looking for a room. Give me a buzz or send me a message if you have sth. Cheers!
I work full-time on weekdays. Prefer to spend the weekends outdoors - coastal walks, short hikes, beaches, etc. I have got varied interests including art and literature too. No pets, please!
We work full time, Ed works in interior fitting and installation, and Bre works as an Apprentice pastry chef. We enjoy going out and exploring and sometimes staying at home at catching up on our favourite tv shows. We're friendly and easy going and happy to abide by the rules.
Me and my husband are both working professionals. Aside from work we love both the indoors: Netflix binge-athons, Friday night pizza + drinks, cooking together, rainy-day tea + conversations AND the outdoors: strolling by the beach, occasional nature hikes, road trips We like our surroundings tidy and clean and would love to make new, life-long friends!
My life style is very stable, I like to go out half the time of the week to meet up with friends, and spend the rest of the time just chillaxing at home. I love to paint, cook, swim. Watching my favourite tv shows with a glass of wine would be a good tuck in night for me. I am easy going, I can range from having share dinners to cooking dinners for myself every night. Happy to share chores around the household to keep it clean and tidy.
- was in Melbourne for 12 years, born in Hong Kong - work in health industry - pay rent on time, share house work - fun and open-minded, happy to social with flatmate but also love to have my personal space - considerate, live with flatmates for over 10 years, all quite long term - not looking for a party house
Hi I am clean and tidy 31 YO moving up from Canberra for work, I am a divisional manager in a national company. I am looking for somewhere to live until I find a house to buy. I work long hours and I am away every weekend.
Hi, My name is Ingrid and I am a 25 year old teacher currently living in St Ives. I am looking to share either an apartment, house or townhouse and am looking for a room with an ensuite/own bathroom. Look forward to hearing from you!
Hi! I am Hannah from Sydney and looking to move in with friendly people in the North Shore area. I work full time in North Sydney. At home I enjoy reading, internetting, and cooking on the weekends. I also like spending time in the great outdoors, so I will probably also be doing that on the weekends. I am a people person so I will look forward to becoming friends with whoever I move in with. However, I do know how to be quiet and and considerate of other people and will respect your need for space and peace and quiet (especially while you are trying to sleep). I do a bit of housesitting in the area (more over summer, but usually at least a weekend per month). So I will be away a little bit. My move date is flexible.
Looking to move any time around mid April 2017. The next time I can check out rooms is early April as I'm away until then. Hi I'm looking for an unfurnished room big enough for a queen bed. I have some other household things, happy to share or store under the house in boxes. Some of the things I need room for include a 2 seater couch, a push bike, 2 cd racks and a few plastic boxes of stuff. So depending on the space somethings could be stored in the bedroom and some in a lock up garage space or ideally a storage space. I also have a big tv - currently with former housemates if you need one in your lounge room and have a display unit for it to sit it on - we can retrieve it .... I am on a 7 day roster and work most weekends and some late shifts too. Sometimes I get 4 day breaks when I've worked 10 days in a row, I try to get away for those breaks usually to Queensland. I get about 7 weeks annual leave and I like to go overseas or up to Queensland to visit my family. I try to travel outside school holiday time - who wants to pay those inflated prices ?? ;) I have been sharing for over 20 years in Sydney and I respect people's space and know how to clean up after myself. I am not a party person - I like to live in a peaceful, tranquil environment. I'm a vego, non-smoker, respect your privacy, pay rent and all my bills on time, friendly and clean. Happy to cook a curry at home or a buy a take away and chat about life over a meal. I work in the cbd mostly 10.30-7pm; sometimes earlier sometimes later. It's most likely that you probably won't run into me that often because of my work hours. As I work outside of normal hours and most weekends, with days off mostly during the week I'm looking for a quiet household on a quiet street or cul-de-sac with minimal traffic noise etc. So if Meriton is building 7 thousand units next door to your place - it's probably not the place I'm looking for ... :) I don't drive but I do need good access to public transport. Also a dryer in the laundry would be handy for those washing days when it's raining all day... :) Please feel free to send me a message if you think you have a place for me. Cheers - Samantha.
I'm a full-time librarian with a background in musicology, with 2 very friendly, lazy dogs: a whippet (Laszlo) and a greyhound (Luisa). They are both about 7 years old. All 3 of us are quiet and well-behaved :) I'm respectful, open minded, tolerant, down to earth and easy-going. I enjoy being part of a social home environment but also value my quiet downtime too (and respect that of others!). I love the outdoors and enjoy exploring bushy and beachy places with my 2 canine companions. I'm also a keen cyclist.
I work in North Sydney looking to find a place on the Lower North Shore. I'm reliable, open minded and easy going. Ideally looking to team up with someone (M or F) and start a new share place, also happy to consider an existing share opportunity. Any questions happy to chat.
I am a 25 year old animal loving Kiwi girl working in my dream job at a vet clinic.I will be working full time including Saturdays. Before then I was living in the UK and travelling around Europe, my fave places were Iceland and Amsterdam! In my spare time I love reading, doing a bit of DIY, painting nails (was a nail tech), watching Netflix and talking! Ideally I don't want to live in a party house as I like my sleep!! I am a pretty awesome mix between tidy and laid-back and I would love to live with people that want to hang out and have a laugh! I do have a cat who comes with me. She is sweet and snuggly and fully toilet trained. If you have any questions please get in touch!
Hey, Im JP. Late 20s, Kiwi/South African, down to earth guy. Love to socialise and I have a very active lifestyle. I spend most week days pretty chilled out after work (9-5 job - Electrical Engineer in the city), either going to beach for a surf or gym. On weekends, you'll see me hanging with friends, having a beer or two, at the beach or down at the snow in winter. I am very respectful of others and their property. Use to cleaning rosters and more than happy to do my share around the house.
My name is Bron, I'm 24 and looking for a house share in North Sydney. I work in Chatswood and am studying part time. I'm a friendly and kind person, who likes other peoples company, but also enjoys my own space. I enjoy cooking, outdoor activities, reading, traveling and socialising with mates.
Hi, I'm looking for a private room and close to Macquarie Park. I'm quiet, tidy and respectable and like to spend my time chilling or being outdoors by the water or on my motorbike. I work full time as a mechanical engineer. I am non smoker and do enjoy a casual drink or two.
I get along with everyone, easy to talk to, friendly and enjoy a good chat. I am in Australia for work purposes and getting to know the local culture. I never stopped learning since I started travelling and loving my stay in Australia. I am looking for a room for a couple as I will be moving in with my partner, Sue. She is sunny and very good fun to have around, currently looking for volunteer work in care. We come from London and are currently living in Central Coast but moving to Sydney to minimize commuting time (I work as a soccer coach for children in Sydney) and make new friends.
I'm a middle aged "young at heart" man who is respectful and friendly, tidy, house trained, and likes to cook. I also like to socialize, but need some quiet time as well. I have my own business in the window film industry, so I'm busy during the week working in Sydney. I generally try to maintain a healthy lifestyle, which includes eating and sleeping well, exercise - gym and yoga, cycling, swimmming, time in the great outdoors. I love the beach, so ideally would like to live as close as I can. Looking for someone who is working and responsible, and in a similar position regarding accomodation. Happy to meet you beforehand. Phil
