I’m moving from Canberra to Melbourne in mid (15th) February to start an Arts/Science degree at Deakin University, I’ll also be working part time. I’ve been living in share housing for the last 3 years so I understand the importance of respecting your housemates and their privacy, but I am a very chatty and friendly person and love spending time with housemates. I am very respectful, clean and sociable. I love good music, nice wine and am generally very relaxed and easy going. I spend most of me free time reading, hiking and drinking way to much coffee (one of the perks of living with me is that I come with a coffee machine!) I’m a trained vet nurse and animal lover and I have two kitties of my own (who will be staying with friends in Canberra) so living with other fur babies would be ideal. I love cooking and am happy to make meals for the house the share, I'm also always up for a talk and a drink. Please let me know if you have any questions about me, looking forward to hearing from you soon Sophie
I am a full-time Registered Nurse so I can pay my rent on time. I am a laid back person, easygoing, friendly, and best of all, respectful of other's personal space. I am into fitness and music production as a hobby hence I am a very sociable person. I am big on keeping my environment clean and tidy as I am that of a person myself.
Hey Melbourne, I am a 25 year old American that was raised in Auckland, NZ. I left Auckland at age 21 to go pursue a job in the recording industry in New York City. 2 years later I started a trip through Central America, and ended up falling in love with Medellin, Colombia, where I am currently teaching English, among other things. It's time to move back to the English-speaking world, so I've decided to check out Melbourne, which I only hear good things about. I plan to be working full-time at one of the many great cocktail bars Melbourne has to offer, so I will not be home most nights. During the day I will be at the gym training jiu jitsu, maybe going for a bike ride, working on my online business, and making the most of Melbourne in general. I would ideally like to flat with either other new-comers to the city, or some friendly folks who would be up for adventure on occasion. Cleanliness is very important to me, so I prefer living with people who are as dedicated to the broom and sponge as much as me. Other than that, I'm really easy going. I do cook 3 square meals a day, so it would be awesome to find other flatties who like cooking so we can enjoy the fruits of our labours together.
My name is Libby, I am turning 21 this year and I am from the UK, on exchange from Edinburgh to Melbourne University. I study History and am therefore organised and hardworking. However, I am really friendly, approachable and outgoing and love meeting new people! For fun I like to play a variety of sports, go to the gym and sometimes cook, however I also enjoy spending a nice night in with friends.
Hey all!! I am a 25 year old Spanish girl looking for a nice place to stay in Melbourne during the next 3, potencially 6, months. I am an easy going person, always full of energy and keen to try new things. I am biologist, so an absolute lover of animals and nature, so if you have pets in your house I will love them! ( but if is not the case no worries, I dont pretend to take any animal into the house). Independent but also very social, I love reading, movies and sharing time with my housemates but also any activity outdoors. As I always say, best impressions are the face to face ones. So if you really want to know me lets meet in person! :)
Hi there, my name is Vlad. I'm a 28yo working in the fruit and veg industry supplying restaurants all over Melbourne. I work full time and have my own car. Currently living in Brunswick, but looking for a different vibe. I'm a metalhead but my friends think I'm hipster, I enjoy all kinds of music , food, movies, art. I'm very adaptable and house trained. I like to socialize but also respect other people's space. That's it I guess . Adios amigos.

We would love to meet some new fun people. We're here on a working holiday visa so the duration of our stay i's not determined.
23 year old, new to Melbourne. Recently graduated from University on the Gold Coast and spent a good chunk of 2016 traveling the USA and working at a Summer Camp. Vegetarian (but happy to cook for my meat eating friends) and massive animal lover aka crazy dog lady. I have family and friends in Melbourne already, but look forward to making some new pals. I will be working full time in the city, Tuesday-Saturday, and will spend a fair bit of time away from the house. During the week I'm a bit of a nanna and will go to the gym most days and love to watch movies or cringe reality TV and cozy up on the couch. I also love a glass of red, a cheese board and a dance. I hate mess, love natural lights and plants :)
Hey funky souls! I am Alannah and I am a student at Deakin University in Burwood, originally from South Gippsland, studying my first year of Psychology. I'm looking for accommodation around the areas listed. I loooove having gaming tournaments (esp. N64 oml), board game nights, feasts, rock climbing, and petting any doggo or floofer that lives. 🐈🐕 I am super passionate about the N64, environment, the N64, food, exercise, veganism (but no hate towards people who aren't it's all g), and the N64. So if you can mentally prepare your stomach for some cooked up 10/10 meals and perhaps some 007 or Mario Kart tournaments that'd be ace. On a more serious note I am clean, tidy, very respective of people, their personal choices and privacy, and super chill with pretty much everything. 😁 Don't hesitate to contact me! Thank you for reading and we look forward to reading your messages! Cheers guys xx
hellooo!! I'm URGENTLY looking for a private furnished room (at least the bed, c'mon xD xD), possibly not more than 15/20 mins (tram distance) from the inner city. I'm looking to spend maximum 700$ per month. And yes, i can afford to pay rent always on due date. Don't worry! quickly about me life! I work in formal menswear in Collins st. and also (at the moment) live in the CBD but I'm starting to notice that I ain't saving much like this and also the place i'm living in ain't that nice and I gotta be a parent to my housemates who tend to do nothing at all in terms of keeping the place neat. So here is my urge to move out ASAP as i would like to avoid having to pay another full month here and prefer to give you the money and start being good housebros asap!! I don't really know what to say about myself but one thing i can tell you: I'm defenitely a clean and respectful guy and treat the house as if it was my own and my housemates as my best buddies. I don't like to party too much in the house and honestly I never do. :):) When I'm home most of the times you'll find me chillin, cooking, watching some Netflix (yes i can share it) or just reading something about how to become rich overnight!! hauahaha I'm not a party animal, unfortunately those times have gone and now i just go out with a couple of friends few times during the week for a chat and a drink. if you wanna chat a bit with me please don't hesitate, i'm friendly! Dario

I'm currently in Richmond, working part time and looking for a place with good transport to Uni and the city. Super easy-going, outgoing chick and fun to live with. I love a good night out on the weekends and chilled nights in during the week. I'm neat and tidy, very laidback and always up for a laugh - and would like my housemates to be the same! I'm very sociable and chatty but also appreciate my own space. Super reliable and considerate, looking to stay for at least 6-9 months. Get in touch!
Hi! I'm Juhi, of Indian origin but born and raised in Dubai and have spent the last few years in Australia (Melbourne and Sydney) pursuing my undergrad (University of Melbourne) and post grad degrees (University of Sydney). Currently working part time and applying for full time positions in my field in both Melbourne and Sydney and hence looking for temporary accommodation until April. I'm a fun, easy going, friendly and independent girl. Conscious with regards to keeping the place neat, clean and sharing household responsibilities. Simple, hard working, respectful and believe in having an open and honest channel of communication. Passionate about my field (Nutrition and Dietetics) and hence enjoy cooking, reading, watching movies, traveling and meeting new people. Love to come home to a quite and peaceful place and am not one for hosting wild parties. Always down for a girl chat and simultaneously respecting each others personal space. No pets either. Responsible when it comes to paying rent and utility bills timely. Looking for a likeminded female who I can connect with and maybe consider a friend down the track. I don't have any furniture or household appliances of my own and am looking for a furnished room including access to the internet. Currently overseas and back in Melbourne on 5th Feb hence don't have my local number active at the moment. However, feel free to contact me here in the inbox and any further communication over Whatsapp/Fb or Skype Thanks!

Hi there, Me and my partner are looking for a short-term accommodation from Feb 7th. For 1-2 weeks. We got apartment in the city where we`ll move into by the end of Feb. So we need a place where to stay just after we land. I am an ICT Product manager in the FinTech Industry, 30 yo, beach volleyball player, originally from Bulgaria, lived in Melbourne for 3 years, a permanent resident. I was back in Europe for a couple of months because of my work. Now we are coming back. Moises is a videographer, professional swimmer and runner. We are both keen on cooking, surfing, and we love nature. About us as flatmates, we are not party animals, just enjoying a dinner with friends, might grab a drink or so during the week, most likely we`ll be outside in weekends. We`ll be busy Mon-Fri furnishing the permanent apartment + job interviews. We got heaps of savings so paying the rent is not a problem. Here is my skype UserName: racheto_p; Linkedin: radoslava tosheva - product development manager - eMerchantpay. Give me a shout if u r interested and Feel free to text if you want to ask us something additional. We can ask a friend of ours who is currently in Melb to come grab a coffee with u as well as pay some money in advance. Let`s talk and organise it. We can Skype any time Mon-Fri after 5pm (AUS time) or 7-9am (AUS time). From my personal experience, I know how much different, easier, faster and more trust you gain when meeting your future tenants/flat/house mates face-to-face. However, we are very serious and responsible mature people and it will be highly appreciated if you can just give us a chance and talk to us and then decide. Let us know what time/date suits you best for a call? Thanks for reading! Regards, Radi & Moi

Hi there! I am a full time social worker, working for a small non for profit in North Melbourne. I am also finishing up my yoga teachers qualification. When I am not working or studying I can be found dancing, going for runs, spending time in the sun, journaling, doing social projects, reading, visiting cafes and spending time with friends. I am light hearted, gentle natured and a little quirky. I enjoy living in a quiet and clean environment and doing my part to keep it this way. I am moving house because I am currently living some distance from my work and dancing and would like to reduce my travel time :) I'm also looking forward to meeting some new people.
Hello Im Lily Im 22 and currently working part time at Myer and part time on my own clothing label. I love sewing in my spare time but am otherwise a busy person and am often out doing activities. I enjoy a weekend of fun every now and then but can also relax with a glass of wine. I am a social person but do enjoy having my own personal space/ time. I would love to live with others who share my passion but i love all creative pursuits!
Hey ! I'm Louise, I come from France, I'm 21 and will be studying in Melbourne for a semester starting from february. What I'm looking for : an international house share or Australian one with good vibes, ideally inhabited by young working/studying people (even if I can believe you're granny is the chillest). I can't wait for you to laugh about my cheese and wine obsession (maybe you will suffer from it too after meeting me, who knows!!). My passions in life are : - great and bad jokes - cooking - meeting people and share everything we don't have in common ! I love to gather around a good dinner, go on adventures and take care of you. I love a clean and tidy house but won't get on anyone's nerve if it is not your habit. (Desperately) Hope to hear from you soon
I am from India, I will be studying Master of Management (Project Management) in La Trobe University City Campus. Along with me there are two more friends who will be arriving (or moving) on the same day. I am extrovert and open-minded, The same implies to other two.I am a non-smoker and non-drinker ( not even occasional), I don't mind smoking or drinking unless I'm insisted so please take a note of it. Also I'm quite possessive to my religious aspects (like eating non-halal food, drinking and others) but not extreme. I respect privacy and never do something that will embarrass or disappoint my fellow roommates. Apart from this I like to go out, play games (indoor or outdoor), gym, cooking, reading, helping the fellow roommates the best from my side, being clean and hygienic, taking care of myself and little OCD to few things :P. We don't mind sharing room with people from any background. If you are from India or Muslim, we would love to be with you. So either way I will be fine. If you have pets like cats or dogs, that will also not be a problem ( we are cat-lovers :P but wouldn't mind a dog. ) Also, If there is any accommodation like Paying Guest (PG) in the city or suburbs I will also consider that. :) P.S : Once again, we are great to live with.

P/S: Will listen to your sappy stories if (unfortunately) you get dumped or talk about how random life is til 4 am Hi! I'm currently living in Malaysia and will be moving to Melbourne for research in Unimelb. Arriving on 7th of February (or few days later) and my research will last 7 months, through August. I am a very outgoing person and love to socialize so am always up for a drink or two cause well, duh. During my free time I also love to hang out with some friends or do some activities together and am down for pretty much *anything*! Heck, throw me a bone I'll even play fetch with you (not literally but you get the idea). Oh Netflix can be fun too. I've lived abroad before when I was an exchange student in the US and have done a fair bit of backpacking alone so I've lived with many others from different backgrounds and cultures and would like to consider myself a pretty tolerant and respectful person. Also get along with people pretty easily. Respect all boundaries and stuff a sock in my mouth to shut me up if need be though I like to keep things less intense. I'm absolutely fine with any location that is convenient and that I can easily travel to campus. Have lived days when I had to carry two tubs of ice cream and a big ol' turkey for an hour to get home. *Not* pleasant so will not allow history to repeat. Hit me up if you think I can be a good fit for your place and I'm sure we can get along fine!
Hi, I'm Jess, I study English and teaching at Flinders Uni (and work there sometimes as a Student Ambassador). I also work as a kitchen-hand. My hobbies include; always paying my rent and bills on time; immediately connecting with new housemates; watching cartoons and films; playing guitar (quiet, non-obtrusive acoustic); video games; writing; reading; skating blah blah blah... My girlfriend is also named Jess (saving YOU, potential housemate so much time remembering our names or even distinguishing us). She's a musician and were moving to Melbourne to pursue her music career. She's into most of my aforementioned hobbies but slightly more of a hippy, beachy sort, and slightly less of the 'brooding writer' thing I've cultivated. We would love to find somewhere 4:20 friendly. I'm a smoker, but more than happy to do it outside. I'm happy to live with any race, sexual orientation, religion, gender etc. Basically, it's all good.
Hiya! I'm a 28 year old female with a well trained and very friendly 5yo cat- a medium coat white and tabby handsome character by the name of Dr. Watson. I'm moving to Melbourne from Sydney to take up uni and will work part or full time as necessary. (Previously a qualified veterinary nurse- have worked the past 4 years in insurance- escalations/disputes/assessing claims) I'm currently doing a month in Europe and will be back mid February..so I'm hoping to move in to Melbourne in March. I keep a clean house and I'm quite respectful of noise. I do like to drink and 'party' at times however this is rarely at home. If you are the kind to have people over regularly that is perfectly fine by me! (On a 'worknight' I'd appreciate some hush by 10.30 though) I'm hoping to have someone to hang out with, but also will respect your privacy (as I hope you will mine). I have a passion for music, philosophy(I'm s beginner but loving it!), animals, food (I'm vegan but not a wanker- you can eat meat!) and travel.
I'm a french girl, I obtained an internship at Aesop in Fitzroy from January to August ! it's my first time in Australia and I'm coming alone ! I will work a lot Monday to Friday and maybe at home sometimes on the week ends but I like to go out, to discover new things, to have drinks, to make some sports and to share nice moments with nice peoples each time that I can !! So I'm searching a room in an apartment with nice people in the center of Melbourne ! :)
Hello there future housemate(s), I’m Sanjit, a 22-year-old student who’s looking to move to Melbourne from Brisbane in order to pursue my Master’s degree in Food science at the University of Melbourne. I’m very reliable with rent and other bills (can provide references of previous housemates). I’ve lived in many share houses before so I know the drill! I’m hygienic and tidy and always clean the dishes after cooking (Such a legend)! I’m very chilled out and laid-back (so much so that I’m almost horizontal) and hope to find similar easy going and open minded housemates. I’m a very sociable person, love going out for food, drinks, movies and would love to find a chilled out place to call home. I also respect everyone’s privacy and will not be constantly pestering you haha. Since I’ll be starting with my Master’s degree, I’ll be pretty busy during the weekdays at Uni but I’m always keen to chill on the weekends. I love watching and playing soccer! (GO Manchester united!) I enjoy scuba diving, longboarding and am now looking into indoor/outdoor rock climbing. I smoke from time to time and will obviously do it outside and away from anyone else ( will keep your personal airspace cancer free). I’m an avid music listener! Love rap, hip hop (artists such as Kendrick lamar, Eminem, 2pac, Biggie, The underachievers, Joey badass, J cole etc), classic rock (Pink Floyd, Guns n roses, Aerosmith, The beatles, Jefferson airplane, Creedence Clearwater revival, The rolling stones, Eric Clapton, Queen etc), Electronic (Flume, Nicholas jaar, Odesza, Pretty lights, Eric prydz, Bassnectar etc) and sometimes when I’m feeling classy, I’ll hit up some Wolfgang Mozart (what a ridiculously cool name) or Bach. So if you love music, I’m sure we will get along!! Also, I have a pair of headphones so you don’t have to worry about me blasting loud music. Also down to binge watch movies and tv shows. So, if you think we’d get along, hit me up!! Feel free to ask me any questions I’m currently travelling overseas and will be arriving in Melbourne around the 15th of February. Send me a message if you're interested. Hope to hear from you soon :)
I'm a French Teacher here for a year on an exchange programme. I'm easy going, tidy, clean, always up for a glass, a chat, an evening out… I am a musician (I play the trumpet although haven’t brought my instrument so no worries about the noise!), love sports (running, have to start fitness again), cooking, baking, eating, chatting, discoveri, travelling...
Hi all, We are two young women from Germany, working within the adidas-group at the headquarters and will be in Melbourne for our company for a longer duration. Starting date will be the February 26 until end of June. We ensure a good monthly income and also a perfect tidiness. Looking forward to hearing from you!! Kind Regards Julia & Florentina
Outgoing, bubbly, friendly and very ready to start a new chapter in my life. I work hard to make a house a home, I tidy where I live every day and properly clean every fortnight. I like to meal prep for the week (vegetarian/vegan) but also love cooking for friends, and I only choose to drink on special occasions, but I don't care what other people choose to do. I love a good party and have an active social life, but I prefer not to bring it home. Don't mind having friends over for dinner and drinks, but home is usually where I spend "me" time and relax. I am seeking somewhere with extremely close public transport (preferably somewhere along the free tramline) and close to the city as that's where I work full time, and as I don't have a car I won't need a parking space. I love spending my down time watching movies, having a good chat with mates, reading, writing or painting or surfing music channels. I'm keen to make a new life, new friends, and a housemate/s would be a great start!! 😊😊
Professional fit and healthy guy. Dont smoke or drink however will have a glass or 2 for social gatherings. Love my coffee and generally keep to myself but enjoy company to chat at times. Very clean and tidy and very respectful to peoples needs.

Hi, My name is Michael and I'm 27 years old engineer from Poland. I work full time from 7 am to 4 pm. Few words about me: calm, friendly, respectful, polite, easygoing, tidy, keen to meet new people and love travelling. I also like motorcycles, listening live music and trying new things.
I'm a laid back person studying at Monash University that likes to feel comfortable and relaxed around the people I'm living with. I am willing to chat to anyone about almost anything so I get along with most people quite well. My friend, Kiara and I are looking to set up a share house with someone who won't live as just a stranger but as someone we can have a chat to and have fun with. Share houses shouldn't be this awkward experience of strangers they should be a great way to get to know people. I am a clean person that loves a good discussion and to have a bit of fun. We are looking for somebody to share a house with that feels and is looking for the same kind of experience. Both of us are country people, living in Melbourne for uni who both work and have over a year's experience each of living away from home, paying rent, etc. Happy to take on first-timers or experienced people so long as they are reliable!
I come from the Philippines and will be taking my MBA this February 2017 in Melbourne. I am very friendly, easy to live with, loves sports, I get along well with others and I cook.
Originally from London but in Melbourne on a working holiday visa. I'm sociable, but not looking for a party house. Tidy and always clean up after myself (no dishes left in the sink for days on end!) After spending 4 months in hostel dorms I'm looking forward to having somewhere I can make feel like home. I'm currently looking for work so can only commit to a maximum of 4 weeks at the moment, but hopefully I'll find work soon and then it could be anything up to 10 months (when my visa expires). If you think you have something that might interest me please let me know. My moving in date is flexible. Thanks Yvonne

Will be looking for part time work as I like a balance between work and play. Looking for some chill room mates hopefully around my age. (I also have a 9 year old border collie x kelpie who loves people and is very well trained. I'd love somewhere I could keep her but if not it's no drama at all as she'll happily live with my family.)
Easy going, love to cook & bake, healthy lifestyle. Love travelling and meeting new people. Don't drink or smoke. Love watching TV shows and movies! About to start a new job as an EA in the CBD!
Hey, I'm studying computer science online with csu. When i'm not studying; i love to get outdoors and skate, snowboard, run, rock-climb, slack-line, hike, swim, and so on. I also enjoy chill activities such as reading a book or enjoying nature. Living and eating healthily is important to me. I've just moved to Melbourne from Queensland to study law at the University of Melbourne. I've just completed my Bachelor of Arts and spent the last six month on exchange in Ireland and travelling around Europe. I'm pretty easygoing and always down for a chat over a cuppa or a drink.
We are a couple (aged 25 and 28) looking for an apartment or room to rent for few months up to 6 months or so. Offers for shorter time are welcome also right now. We might stay here for longer but we would prefer not to commit to a long lease right now. Argo is currently working full time (near St.Kilda) and I do photography and graphic design and I am looking for a job in the area. Argo likes gardening and has a B.Sc in Landscape Architecture. I studied Biology back home but lately, I have been more interested in photography and arts. I've done cleaning professionally and we like to keep clean. We are rather quiet but we are also happy to socialise and have a glass of wine on the weekends!
