Hi there, my name's Gill (pron. Jill) and I'm a second year physics student at Melbourne. Im looking to escape the outer suburbs with 2-3 like minded people, preferably women similar to my age. I'm vegetarian and play bass in a local band. I'm friendly, easy going and love cooking!
Full time students, work part-time as well. Easy going girls who have both moved down from QLD trying to secure accommodation. Laura has already spent 12 months in Melbourne, but Courtney is new this year.
Hi there! I'm Elizabeth and I'm an aspiring actor, artist and filmmaker from Queensland! I'm looking to relocate from the Gold Coast to Melbourne this year in between work and study (I recently completed filming a project on the GC last November), so not looking for any super long-term accomodation (sorry!). Because of the nature of my work, I may also have periods of time where I need to duck off, however all will be discussed in gory details if and when this occurs. Apart from that, I am a very flexible human being and am super communicative and reasonable - traits that would make me a great housemate. I also consider myself very mature, responsible and down-to earth. I love a laugh and a drink or two but am by no means a party animal, and treat my own and other's spaces with the utmost respect. My main loves include: coffee, contemporary/modern art, books and writing, painting, animals, veggie gardens, shiny objects (fairy lights are my one true weakness), travel, yoga, yoga pants and film. I am also really into fashion, photography and science. I completely understand the balanced art of giving someone space (I am quiet and don't take up much room) as well as loving the odd chat, shared meal and hangout with my future housemates. I am looking for housemates that are as equally flexible as I am, people who are creative thinkers with a wide range of passions and interests, good-natured, funny, and kind human beings. Feel free to message me if you like! :) x
Hi, I am a masters student at University of Melbourne. Looking for an accommodation near the university or somewhere in the surrounding suburbs with easy access to public transportation (trains and trams). I am house trained and friendly! I love music and cooking (at least trying to). I prefer people who enjoy hanging out every now and then but respect each others private space as well.
Currently working in Kew as a bartender and a flower delivery girl for a well known florist which gives me some interesting stories to tell at the end of my work days and come with their own perks. Im also studying Entertainment Journalism with a bit of film this year, hoping to make some legendary doccos someday. In my down-time i love to cook and watch movies/tv series. (currently making my way through a never-ending list to watch.) Love going out for movies/food/drinks and having a good night out but i also like a quiet night in with homemade fajitas and a good movie or 3. I work some late nights but i also work most of the day so i keep really busy. I play hockey for Kew/Box hill Brumbies which is always fun to watch. Im into my fitness, traveling, food and always up for adventures!
I'm a second-year full-time postgraduate student in Australian Catholic University. I'm fairly new to Melbourne and looking to find a place where I could relax and possibly make friends. If you have a quiet little cutie dog it would be awesome since I've been missing mine back home in the Philippines. I am quiet by default so if you like the silence don't worry I won't bother you very much. I am mindful of others and tidy up most of the time. I can cook some Filipino food, if you'd like to try I am willing to share it :)
Hello from Pakistan! Coming to Australia for the first time, I will be studying full time at Monash city campus. I do not prefer partying as much, I can be social but also respect ones privacy and would love to help around the house! I am a clean and tidy person, i like living in a laid back environment, little fun on the side, love to watch films, listen to music, can cook some things too. Can’t sit around at one place for too long, I walk a lot, always up for hiking or camping out or playing any sport. I also have a musical instrument (Rabab) of Afghan origin which I play then and now, radiating good vibes only!! 22, straight.
We're two Canadians who love good conversations over coffee or drinks! We're also both foodies, so super willing to go on food adventures around the city together. We work full time in tech and finance - work hard during the week and play hard on the weekend! We're SUPER CLEAN!
I am an ED nurse by profession. Born in Very easy to get along with and grounded. Have a positive outlook about life. Enjoy going to cafes, movies, keep fit at the gym, passionate about travelling and meeting new people. I enjoy the company of others but equally happy on my own. I am very respectful of other people and firmly believe that you should treat others the way you wish to be treated yourself.
Hi there, I’m looking for a place to call home not a room to rent. I’m easygoing, always up for a friendly chat and try my best to get to know my housemate because there’s nothing worse than an awkward conversation 😬 I work full time in the financial services industry and like to come home and just switch off. I’m house trained and I like to keep everything around me clean and neat. If you’ve got any questions please don’t hesitate to ask :)
Hello. I'm James. I'm moving to Melbourne from Brisbane starting around March 1st (though if I found the perfect place I could possibly arrive sooner.) I am transferring at my job, full-time work. I'm looking for something similar to the experience I've had in Brisbane, which is one or two roommates who are easy/enjoyable to live with, very respectful of space/tidiness and good for a chat/drink every now and then. Being new to the city, I'm hoping to find a great location. Things I love: Arts/Music, reading, gym, cooking, spontaneous adventures/exploring the city....
I am a french girl with a law degree, working as a waitress. Luke is a American boy, web designer. We’ve both been traveling for a while so we’re definitely looking for a cool and chill place to stay, not a party house. We love sport and music. We are very respectful, sociable, clean and tidy.
Relaxed, enjoy fitness and cooking, love AFL, keep a tidy house. Value a balance between personal and social time. Will be working from home 2 days a week, and in the office 3 days a week (Ballarat). Would ideally like to live with people who are easygoing, like a joke, having a few drinks, exploring, and random Kmart outings. Looking to move anytime from late Feb-early March, and hoping to find somewhere from 6 months to one year.
Hi, I'm from the UK and been in Melbourne for 6 months. I'm a friendly and chilled out guy who is considerate and respectful of living with others. Enjoys food and cooking as well as a few drinks at the weekend. I am about to start a new job in South Yarra, hence the move. Looking for a decent place to feel at home.
Hi flatmates! My name is Avalon and I currently live in South Melbourne but my lease is up in three weeks. I'm looking for someone with similar interests to me: fashion, sport, food, arts etc also someone I can have a wine with! I'm very tidy, mature and am pretty easy going (so I think).
Hey there! Im a really friendly and outgoing individual who will get along with absolutely anybody. I work around 4-5 days a week in hospitality, like to socialise over a few drinks, like things tidy, getting things done that need to be, and am really laid back. I love anything creative and am always sharing ideas and laughing about life! I am looking to move from Sydney to Melbourne very shortly with like minded individuals. Currently I am taking a break from my official studies in marketing and design to pursue an interest in music production and am studying this on the side.
Hi, I am a 23 year old female working full time as a photographer. Looking for share accommodation (will need to move in by end of January/begging of February). Please don't hesitate to send me a message/have a chat. Cheers, Kristina
Hello, potential new flatmates, I am seeking a new sharehouse as my current housemates and I are going separate ways in early Feb 2018 (both shaking up with their respective partners). Given this, I am in a bit of a bind and therefore seeking new roomies. I work as a full-time professional in the finance sector. I am very active as I am a keen cyclist, skier, and a hack surfer. I like to keep things very clean and tidy but not psychopathic about cleanliness (and partial to employing a cleaner). Happy to provide references to my living standards. Ideally, I would like to live with people who are fairly social within the house and not purely coexisting at the same address, let's grab a spontaneous drink, do a big cook up, etc. I've previously lived with guys and girls so I'm well aware of the intricacies involved in living with both. In relation to where I'd like to live; I'm fairly open to living most areas except going too far north Collingwood would be my limit there or west, as I don't want to bicycle commute to work to be too long. Cheers, Steve
Hey, I am looking for a room within inner city Melbourne. I work-full time in sports marketing and lucky enough to travel a bit for work. I love a vino and to watch sports - if you have a doggo that is the biggest plus! Thanks, Meg
