Hi:) Everyone!! We are a Japanese young couple on working holiday and looking for a nice room for us. We just arrived to Australia on 18th April, so We are gonna stay for 1 year at least. We wanna find a room we can stay for a long term. We are sociable, easy going, tidy, respectful to others. Thank you for reading.
Hello! Looking for somewhere to live in the inner suburbs with great people! I work in Banking 9-5. Usually out and about running, bike rides, hiking, bit of gym as well as nights out/gigs on my time off. Clean, considerate, not a great cook but don't burn toast... Flexible on move date. Keen to find the right place as soon as possible.
Hello there! I'm looking to move closer to the city in a friendly and social house. I'm always up for a chat and would prefer to be friends with the people I live with. I'm 25 and I'm a marketer by day and salsa dancer by night. If you're looking for someone to joke around with, binge watch TV with and have deep conversations about Game of Thrones, I am your girl.
Hi there I'm a Chartered Accountant and currently doing my Masters in Analytic in RMIT. I'm a Malaysian, lived and worked in Dublin and Bangalore apart from Kuala Lumpur. I'm a friendly, positive person and a professional. I respect people views and privacy. Pretty neat and practice 'clean as you go' when it comes to cleanliness. Will be tied-up during the weekdays and typically back in apartment around 8pm. On weekends apart from studying, taking it easy and hope to discover Melbourne. I'm new in Melbourne - would love a flat-mate who doesn't mind having chats or a drink when free and is friendly.
I'm clean tidy usually quiet person who enjoys adult talk and wines. Good listener. Once I get to know you we can have better time. I'm David from Korea have working holiday visa and will be in Melbourne. Have lived in Canada for a while. Love Canada and cheese. Like traveling watching sports games except for golf and f1 (they're boring asf for me) and doing cultural stuff like going museum etc. I'd like to have Aussie housemate or someone who speaks English fluently (westerners I more get along easy with them) as I want to improve more of my English. I hope to hear about you soon. Cheers
I am a neat and tidy person who respects others need for space but I am always up for a chat over a bottle of wine with some homemade bruschetta or pate and I make a mean spag bol, if I say so myself. I am a bit of a geek so will always have access to the latest shows and movies. As such I can contribute a 65" Sony 4K UHD TV, Sonos soundbar & subwoofer, Sonos Play 5, Roku 3, Apple TV v3, PS4, XBOX One and a WD Media Server. I don't watch much free to air TV as I love watching shows like Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, Suits, Breaking Bad and Outlander. I have travelled to a lot of European countries and can share some travel tips if you are considering travelling to Europe. I enjoy art and photography and I have rediscovered my love for exercise so if you need a walking companion I am always up for a walk or a bike ride although I am not much of a gym goer. I have an eclectic taste in music from good old 60's (think Tour of Duty) to Karen Souza, who I hear you ask well go check her out. Other Music/Artists I love include Rock Alternate Birdy Florence + The Machine London Grammar John Newman Tom Odell Damian Rice Stereophonics Rival Sons Paul Weller The Cure I am currently between contracts, I work as either a Business Analyst, System Analyst or Test Analyst depending on the role within the financial services sector, however, finances aren't a problem with regards to rent and utilities etc for the next 6 to 12 months so no need to worry about that. I would like to pick up my next contract prior to Christmas as I am sick of seeing my bank account reducing rather than increasing. Other things I can contribute to the house are a Nespresso machine, air fryer, 3 seater plus 2 armchairs and coffee table outdoor setting as pictured here http://www.superamart.com.au/outdoor/ranges/vivian/vivian-51181/
Im international student looking for the room in a flatshare with friendly people. Ive been Melbourne for 2.5 years and have a part time job. I like music, craft , cooking and drinks. Hi Everyone Me and my friend are from Turkey and we are looking for a room that we can stay together. We are easy going, friendly, tidy and clean. The flat must be closed to Melbourne Center or near the free tram zone
I'm an engineer working in the energy efficiency field, my office is in Ringwood and I am there 8:30-6ish Mon-Fri, I do a bit of travel for work too. Also studying a GradCert in project management. I love good food and wine and I am a pretty good cook (I make a mean pulled chicken chilli). Love hitting the gym, and when I am organised will generally go 3 or so nights a week. I can range between being super #cleaneating gym nut to pizza & gym twice a week. May binge watch a bit of Netflix every now and then, and do have a playstation and 55" TV though I have only played it 3 times in the last 9 months. I am a snowboarder too so if you ski or board be prepared for sweeet snow trips next year. I do have a car and would need a car space. I am single and have a good group of close friends that keep me busy socially, they are all 27-34yo. I don't go clubbing except for the rare special occasion these days but am inclined to do restaurant/bar drinks a bit. I've lived in a 3 room place with two girls who I still call good friends today, one of them is a police officer and I am happy to pass on their details for you to get their spin on me. I'm clean, neat and I get along with almost anyone. Don't have a green thumb so really looking for a low maintenance apartment. Could maybe handle a pot plant, . . . maybe. If I was to live with someone I would expect us to get along and am happy to hang out. I really don't want to feel like my presence is an imposition. However I happily understand and respect personal space and alone time.
Hi all. Currently in the process of moving on from a relationship (very amicably!) so I'm looking for a fresh start. I've recently turned 49years young. Very social. Love a laugh, a beer, great company and obviously sport. I've 3 beautiful young boys that are growing into great young men, who I have 30% of the time. I am very active, like to keep fit, work full time and generally love my life and the people I have in it. I'm searching for somebody who is also looking for a large 3brm, 2+ bathroom, whole property in the same suburbs, to possibly team-up and share. I have a budget of approx $600p.w. and hoping to find someone to pitch in approx $400 - $500 p.w. for their own bedroom and bathroom near the beach. That way we can secure a great spacious place to call home. Happy to discuss all options. Happy to accommodate children on a part time basis (a typical situation these days!) If you have any furniture to contribute, great, as I'm starting again. I'm fine with Animals provided the Agent/Landlord approves. I'm a terrible cook, but make up for this downfall by being a fastidious cleaner. I'm really easy going and just want to have a great summer cooking on the BBQ, laughing and enjoying happy times in the courtyard. If this sounds like you, then get in touch asap please. Andy.

I am an outgoing, bubbly and optimistic person who is always fun to be around. I am constantly in a very uplifting mood and am very focused. I study at RMIT University and work part-time. I am very adventurous and enjoy things like sky-diving and rollercoasters. I am very determined and organised as well as clean and considerate.
Hi, I'm Clint, I'm 28 and I am looking for a place to live. I'm fairly flexible in terms of location as long as it's easy enough to get into the city for work. I'm looking for a fairly social house - hopefully nothing too crazy/hectic though. About me: I'm easygoing, friendly and considerate. I enjoy watching / playing most sports and don’t mind a social drink or two. I’ve lived in a few different flat shares so know what's expected, what makes a good housemate and what makes a shit housemate. If you think you have something suitable please let me know! Thanks. Clint.

Hi my name's Matt. I'm a 30 year old guy working at the The Alfred Hospital as an anaesthetic nurse. Im looking to move somewhere close, ideally between Richmond and Windsor as I don't drive. I'm tidy and respectful of common spaces. Love having the occasional drink or meal together, but I don't depend on this as I work shift work and have a great group of friends. I enjoy the occasional night out, but my main focusses are my family, friends, work and living a healthy lifestyle like going to the gym. I am hoping to move out early to mid to late December as my lease runs out on the 21st. Look forward to hearing from you. Matt
I work and study full time however if I'm not doing either of those I love to be at the gym or out with friends. I've been in share accommodation before and really enjoyed living with different types of people. As much as I love my privacy I also love getting to know my house mates and having the odd big cook up together or drinks after work.

I'm a kiwi graphic designer who have relocated to Melbourne after London last month am actively looking for a place that feels like home. I am easy going, clean, social, and looking for like-minded people. I like to travel, bit off boxing and few beers here and there.
I am a really easy going guy, who likes to go out, meet new people and explore. I have traveled the world and have lived on my own before. So I have no problem paying bills, or keeping the place clean. I am from Toronto Canada and have decided to live in Australia for a year and then maybe travel a bit around Asia and New Zealand. I am into business and sports, I love hockey even though I hear there's not much of it in Australia, but also love tennis, basketball, baseball, and soccer. I like to try new things for fun, and will always say yes to going out and partying. I do enjoy though sometimes staying in and watching Netflix haha. Looking for a social roommate. I am a young professional and plan on working part time or full time during the week, while I am studying for my CFA exam. Looking for a furnished room with a bed and a place to put my clothes most importantly.
I'm a student at Monash, in my 6th year of studying engineering and law. I'm pretty chilled, I like to socialise and go out when I can but also like a clean space to come back to where I can spend a day reading or binge watching TV. I'm going away in December so looking for a place early January!
Looking for: private room not too far away from the CBD, no pets as I'm allergic I am: Swedish, down to earth, full-time student For those who are more curious: Hey potential future flatmate(s)! I’m a 20 year old Swede looking to rent a room from mid January to August or September. I’m a full-time student at Billy Blue College of Design and I’m most likely going to start looking for a part-time job in January. I’m currently renting a room in a flatshare in South Melbourne. Been living here since August this year. I’m moving out and going back to Sweden early December for a wedding. Not completely sure yet when I’m traveling back to Melbourne but it should be around mid January. Looking for a private room not too far away from the CBD. I need good tram/train/bus connections if it’s in a suburb further away. I prefer a furnished room as I don't really own anything except for an $9 work lamp from IKEA. As I mentioned before I'm allergic to pets so can't be around them at all... I’m very easy going and down to earth. I like to go out partying every other weekend or so depending on how much schoolwork I have to do but I'll definitely not bring the party home it's not appropriate. I enjoy hanging out with friends, going to the night market or to the cinema. I’d love to get to know my flatmates and hang out but at the same time it’s really important for me to get my peace and quiet to study as I take my studies very seriously (too expensive for Swedes to not be serious about it haha). I think it’s important to keep the common areas clean and tidy but I’m not too fussy about leaving dishes in the sink or stuff like that. I can be a bit messy when doing a crafty project for uni, but I’ll keep it in my room or tidy up after me. Hope to hear from you if you have something for me!
Hello. :) I'm Tanvi, am 21 year-old student completing a Masters of Counselling course from Monash University. I'm looking for a place (not a shared room; I'm looking for an own furnished room, preferably with an ensuite bathroom) that's not too far from either uni or the city, and hoping to stay for a minimum of 4 months, starting MID-JULY. I'm friendly, fairly easy-going and absolutely love to travel. Although I generally love to socialise, I also appreciate some time to myself occasionally. I intend to keep the apartment very neat and tidy, and would like to team up with someone similar in that respect. I enjoy reading, dancing (I do some Latin :)), and cooking (I tend to eat healthy as often as possible, but indulge from time to time). I'm also a big fan of good conversations, about almost anything, and am therefore looking not only for house-mates but for potential friends. :) Lastly, I'm a huge dog-lover, and although I don't have any, I'd love to share an apartment with someone who does! Feel feel to send me a message if you know of anything that's suitable. Cheers!
I am 32 year old looking for shared accomodation. Currently living in Caulfield, looking to move somewhere around it. I am relaxed and easygoing and get along well with all kinds of people. My hobbies are generally watching and playing sports and fitness. I am currently working as Test Analyst with Amdocs. I don't smoke and rarely drink, and enjoy the quiet life when I'm at home, but I'm always happy to socialise.
I spend part of my week in Carlton North in a creative studio working with like minded designers and creatives, with a strong focus on sustainable design. I spend the other part of my week at RMIT finishing my third and last degree. I love yoga, I'm vegetarian 90% of the time (other people eating meat or fish doesn't bother me) and try and get to the Dandeonongs or Peninsula if I ever have a day to spare (which is not often enough). I'm tidy, easy-going and stay quite busy during the week. I like being in beautiful yet simple spaces (a product of studying design). I try and eat pretty healthy but can't go without the occasional dark chocolate treat. I'm looking to live with people who want to create a home, happy to have a chat over a meal or drink but also happy to do their own thing.
I'm Heidi, 22 yrs old looking for a friendly place to live in a suburb not too far from the cbd, I'm a busy person with a healthy social life, I am clean and neat and considerate as a house mate. :) Please contact me anytime

Ideally I'm looking for an apartment in the South Yarra/Prahran/Windsor area.
Hi there, I am a fun, easy going, clean and tidy, laid back individual who works full time in Real Estate. I am looking for a room or to start a group of 2 or 3 people to move into a new place. I am looking to move in with like minded, mature individuals/professionals. I don't have any pets, I occasionally smoke and love a great wine and a bit of banter. Hi I'm Chris! I am 27, working full-time for a government department in the area of law and economics in the Melbourne CBD. I am easy going, social, clean and reliable with paying rent and bills. I'm hoping to find friendly and easy going housemates that like to have a chat while grabbing a coffee or having a meal/drink at times. It would be great to find a place that is more like a home than just a place to stay. I enjoy brunch, yoga, AFL, going for runs, cafes/restaurants, movies and going to events/shows/exhibitions. I am starting to learn Spanish and having a go at salsa. After work and on the weekends, I like to catch up with friends and keep busy, but at times relax at home.

Hey, I'm Barry, I've been living in Richmond for the last year and am looking for a change of scenery! About me, I'm 25, half Irish, half Kiwi, working as an emergency doctor. I'm pretty laid back and definitely up for a chat and drink or 2 in the evenings, but am pretty content to chill out in my own space when needs must. I am a massive fan of going out on my bike, and I come with a tiny electric piano if any aspiring musicians need some backing tracks! Look forward to hearing from you Cheers, Barry
Hi I'm Jacinda, 24 year old female. I work as an Occupational Therapist and study part time. I'm New to Melbourne. I have lived in share houses for six years so I know the drill- clean, tidy, respect your things and personal space when needed and I hope for the same in return. Also keen to have chats and share a wine or two. Please message me if you think I can be an addition to your household.
I'm a software engineer, working full time. Music is my main hobby and I spend a lot of time playing guitar and going to gigs. I also like to read, play video games, watch tv and movies, and going hiking and camping, which I do a few times a year.
Hey all, I'm to start a new house share from Thornbury to Brunswick, Elwood to Caulfield and in any inner North, East or Southern Suburbs. My budget is $185/week, ready to move now. I'm 31, originally from QLD and have been living in Melbourne for about 3.5 years. I work 5 days/week in hospitality, until I go back to uni full time (+ work part time) for a year to finish my psych degree. When I finish I'm aiming to get a job in a humanistic position. On my days off I generally like to get outdoors if the weather is good and am looking forward to getting some beach days in this summer, (if/when it actually arrives in Melbs). I'd like to say I sleep in but my body clock often doesn't allow it. It only lets me feel like I could sleep in on the days I have to work. Most of my social outings revolve around visiting friends or heading out to gigs, or maybe a sneaky festival once or twice a year. I enjoy food and drink and chats with my housemates, but equally enjoy my down time and respect others' need for the same. I'm clean and tidy, especially when it comes to communal spaces. Eat mostly vegetarian, but not wigged out by food of any kind. I’m good for paying rent/bills on time, am not touchy about discussing stuff house-related, much prefer openness and communication. Am well-trained in house-sharing, and don’t possess any sexist, racist, LGBTI-phobic views/sentiments. 420-friendly. Come with a bunch of plants and make kombucha regularly. Do have some furniture to bring, kitchen stuff, no whitegoods though. Feel free to fire any questions my way 🙂 I'm ready to move asap!
I'm 28. Nurse. Shift work. Clean. Tidy. Friendly. Likes to have a beer or 2 but also a nice quiet nights in. When I'm not working weekends I enjoy getting out and about. I like to think I'm an active sort but I think I'm just comfortable in the clothing!
Hi, we are a couple of young people and, because of work, we just recently started looking to move from Brisbane to Melbourne end of January. French woman working in Optometry and English man full time worker in Marketing for Telstra. Looking for a place: somewhere close to CBD, public transport and all facilities are must. Very friendly, we are used to live in houseshares or flatshares and like socialising. Comfortable living with other people. Clean and involved in the everyday tasks at home. We are after a new home with a nice, chill and quite atmosphere.
