I am ideally looking for a private room to rent (with a carpark) in & around Southbank / South Melbourne areas. I'm 25/M, work FT in the City and also Mt Waverley, and play sport on top of this. Have lived in share housing for over 10 years, and know the drill well. I don't have raging parties, don't stay up all hours of the night etc, pay all bills on time. I just recently adopted an 8-year-old cat, and she is incredibly friendly. Mostly just a lap-cat, so doesn't involve much maintenance at all (just a relaxing place to sleep her days away). Worse comes to worse, I have alternative arrangements in place for the cat should it be a no-go. Pretty easygoing guy, more than happy to sit down for a beer when I'm around, and won't make a mess etc. At this stage my move date is the 29th October, and the plan would be to stay for around 2 months - however, that could extend. Hit me up if you want to find out more or have a room/house that you think I could be interested in.
Irish, been here over 6 years.. Work in Banking 9-5. Usually out and about running, bike rides, hiking, bit of gym as well as nights out/gigs on my time off. Clean & considerate, I value a social household but enjoy my downtime too. Flexible on move date. Keen to find the right place as soon as possible.
We are a 2x girl couple looking for a room to rent in Melbourne. Alice (27) works in finance on St Kilda Road Ashleigh (25) works in insurance on St Kilda Road Both like to eat, travel & watch netflix.
Hi:) Everyone!! We are a Japanese young couple on working holiday and looking for a nice room for us. We just arrived to Australia on 18th April, so We are gonna stay for 1 year at least. Hey! Young professional, very clean/considerate, recently lost about 16kgs so I'm living a healthy lifestyle atm. Passionate about my work, and honestly just looking to live with some great guys/girls. I've been in your shoes, and when you've got a great place it kinda sucks when you accidentally pick a new roommate who just isn't a great fit. I'm very social and I just want to live a fun yet relaxing lifestyle. If you're like-minded, enjoy the odd great night, are curious to say hello - I'm more than happy to meet up, phone, or skype. Jack PS. I'm pretty flexible with a move in date and costs. I've put down "6-months" as a preferred stay length but I could honestly live short or long term.

Hi there I am seeking a housemate to find a place with, either a house/flat/apartment to share. I have all the furniture needed to furnish a place including white goods such as fridge and washing machine, TV and DVD, plates and cutlery, cooking utensils, cups, plates and more. If you have your own furniture/white goods etc then I am happy to compromise and open to suggestions. Flexible in location although would like something walking distance to public transport and shops. I have a car but am happy with off street/permit parking. Although I am 37 I am young at heart, go to the gym/ 4-5 times a week and live a healthy lifestyle. I am outgoing but also like my quite time at home or in my room. I am not a party animal but I am social with a relaxed attitude. Most of all I am non judgmental, patient, easily pleased and easy to get a long with. I have only ever lived with friends, all of which are still my best friends. I keep a clean and tidy house but by no means a clean freak, I believe in mutual respect for the person I live with and am happy to have a chat, eat together or have a drink or two when we both feel like it. If you would like to know or would like to have a chat to decide if we are a good match or to discuss possible locations, living arrangements and so on then please feel free to contact me.
Hey There, I'm a 24 year-old Melbourne Uni student, studying my masters full-time. Looking for an accommodation to share with tidy, easygoing and cool housemates. I'm a considerate, happy-go-lucky person and respect my housemates' privacy and expected that back from them. Inbox me if interested in sharing a flat with me, Thanks, Emi
French Student in SACE Melboure, I'm arrived in Australia since 2 weeks. 23 years, I have a WHV available until October 2017. Currently in Preston, I'm looking for a collocation or shared room ASAP.
Briefly about myself, my name is Minh, 21yo Vietnamese boy studying 3rd year Accounting at Swinburne Uni, I also keep myself busy with a part-time job in Hospitality at a hotel in the CBD, going to the gym 3 days a week and fulfill my passion for art/design by drawing and designing sometimes. Apart from that, I would love to socialize and enjoy some time hanging out with my housemates, as I am looking for a place to call home where I would feel comfortable and at my best, not just a place to live. I would love to share the flat with people who are open-minded, fun-loving and friendly, who would enjoy one or two drinks here and there, or hanging out for brunch in the weekend. I highly appreciate people you do not identify themselves as racist, sexist and homophobe. Lastly, I try my best to keep my own personal place as well as the common area of every place I have lived in clean and tidy.
My name is Tufan. I am 27 years old and work in the banking industry. I am Turkish. I will be arriving in Melbourne early November to attend school so I can improve my English. Really hoping to pre-arrange a room before my arrival on the 24th October, if you think I would be ideal roommate, please message me. Jing
I work and study full time however if I'm not doing either of those I love to be at the gym or out with friends. I've been in share accommodation before and really enjoyed living with different types of people. As much as I love my privacy I also love getting to know my house mates and having the odd big cook up together or drinks after work.

Hi potential flatmates! I'm thomas, 31 years old. I left my beloved France last year where I lived seven years in Paris. I'm looking for some friendly flatmates willing to share more than just the rent and bills. I would wish in st kilda or closed suburbs. I would say that I am respectful, reliable and open-minded. I'm too old anymore to make party everytime, but sometimes I forget it! I'm quite tidy for a bloke... not based on my mum but according to female friends and that is worth, right?! :-) I'm working as a Consultant because I like to be paid telling to people what they have to do and...hum...no I shouldn't say that here, forget it -_- What else, I am really into soccer, enjoy nice strolls listenning some electronic music and I need to be near to the sea even if I swim like a stone :-/ Conclusion, I am just modestly a bargain! ahah
I am originally from London and my boyfriend is originally from Perth, we are both looking for an apartment or share house to move into, ideally in the city with an ensuite. I am an Iranian medical graduate having found a job around Newcastle so I will be quite busy with my studies during my stay, and will be either at lectures or at library everyday from 8-18 As I have to prepare for my clinical exam as well. I am an easygoing, calm and orderly person, and enjoy socializing with others specially now that I am in a foreign country and its quite interesting for me to talk and share and learn different stories from different cultures and countries. I have no pets . I am also good at cooking and playing guitar and can share some delicious Persian cuisines and some songs :) Cheers Sam
Hey :) I am pretty easy going flatmate. I work two jobs so rarely in the house, and eat out most of the time as it is more practical, so I dont create mess/take up a lot of the house's living spaces when I am there. On weekends just like to chill, maybe watch a movie at home, or sometimes organise a night out on a Friday or Saturday. I enjoy playing the occasional boardgame at home and having a drink. Thanks Steven
Hello there! I'm looking to move closer to the city in a friendly and social house. I'm always up for a chat and would prefer to be friends with the people I live with. Hi! My name is Scarlett, 26 years, half German and half American, just finished my Master's degree in Business Development and am here on a working holiday visa. I found a full-time job in an Italian cafe here in Melbourne and am planning on staying until Nov 22/23. I am currently in a hostel and would just like to save some money and have a nicer place while I am here. My room there is booked until Oct 31 which is why I am looking for something asap. I am a talkative and fun yet responsible person, always down for a little chat or game. I have a lot of experience when it comes to living with other people (from all over the world), so certain standards of hygiene and privacy will of course be upheld. ;-) I am not a party girl, especially now that I am working full time. Message me for more information :) Regards, Scarlett

Hello there. I'm a nurse working full time across Melbourne having recently relocated from Brisbane. I'm looking for a quiet, calm and relaxing environment to come home to and unwind in after work. Something with a nice green outlook, a good walk near by or a deck/balcony would be excellent. I am an easy to be around, funny and clean person to live with. I am an extremely responsible person who is respectful of others, including personal and communal spaces. I like to keep my interactions light hearted and sincere and love to have a cheeky laugh when I can. My job will see me rotate on a variety of shifts across the week. As such, I am looking for a home that is quiet (so I can catch up on sleep) and easy-going (so I can get away with making a meal or having a shower at odd hours). I have a little dog with me, he is 8 years old, 8kg, non-shedding and a little legend. He is well trained, toilet trained and no trouble at all (he doesn't chew, doesn't scratch floor boards and doesn't rummage through the bin etc). He gets along well with other dogs/cats/birds. In my spare time I will be out and about with the dog, catching up on sleep, cooking, reading, watching a good tv show or just going for a drive to unwind. I'm flexible on my move in date and length of stay.
Hello future housemates my name is Maria just currently finished my diploma in beauty therapy and now currently working for Endota. I am a very social person love the company of people but I do understand people need there space to chill and relax by them selfs. Hobbie include taking photos, shopping, hanging out with friends and of course going out to eat. Love a good burger or pizza ! I occasionally like to go for a good walk or do some exercising to stay healthy. Just want to live closer to the city because I am finding it hard traveling to get to work from where I am livin at the moment. I am working almost full time hours so won't be home during the day unless I have a day off. I am just looking for a place where I can get along with my housemates.
Looking for long term accommodation. 23yr old female, full time employee at Royal Melbourne hospital, very clean and tidy and won't be at home most of the time due to work. Not into house-parties but love a drink on weekends out at bars or pubs. Quiet when at home, does work on the laptop and love a good night in for a movie or TV shows, and usually spends weekends out at cafes with friends or road tripping. Very easy to get along. Respects privacy and personal space very much. Likes to keep the place clean and tidy.
Hi there! I'm trying to find someone to share a place. I'm quite easy going, always laughing for no apparent reason and being positive about things. I would love to find someone I could call friend and share a glass of wine after a long day at work. I'm an architect, very neat, tidy and organised as we should be and hope to find someone like minded. I work full time and I'm not a fan of crazy parties but always keen to have a nice dinner and conversation with friends... I respect people's own space and expect my housemate will do the same :)
I'm 24 and love living in Melbourne. I come with a sick vacuum cleaner that picks up everything and have been known to say funny things occasionally. I'm shit at cooking but can pick up after myself really well and am always up for a chat or a drink. I'm very good at not talking during movies. Comes with: own bedroom furniture, aforementioned sick vacuum, sense of humour and the ability to clean an oven. Will always buy the fancy toilet paper and am always down to watch terrible tv 'cause there's nothing else on'. Looking to move in with 2 or more people :)
I am currently studying Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne majoring in Law minoring in Politics. Despite the heavy study load and populist beliefs amongst my 'Work Hard Play Harder' friends; I am legitimately only boring on weekdays and a most likely/10 hitting Circus or CQ with the squad on the weekend. People's first impression of me is often subjected to the flaws of male fundamentalism where a woman can only be one of the two possible archetypes: stupid & attractive usually super fun but often shallow and has a lot of hot friends, OR smart & ugly, has a jam-packed schedule, living a conservative and quiet life with a small social group of feminists who she exchanges literature reviews on a Sunday brunch. Well, I guess I must be Elle Woods from Legally Blonde, as I identify myself with both archetypes. Can you hear that? it's the sound of the narrow-minded being absolutely mind blown. Advantage: - Tidying up after myself in communal areas almost right after I make a mess such as cooking, or unfolded a throw (currently living in an OCD-infested house in the eastern suburbs; I've picked up the art of cleaning & organisation) - Also currently studying Interior Design & Decoration so the house will always be pimped TF out - Hardly takes any offence to criticism & prefers resolution than tension (mindfulness people, mindfulness) - Respects and follows established boundaries and trust me, boundaries will not be crossed but the same is expected on the other end as well. (personal space, no social/friends stealing, care to other people's personal property, ect ect) - Regular Schedule (well I'm boring on weekdays and I know most people go to work on weekdays so that works well for both of us) - Always punctual with bills & rents. - I have my own life too, don't worry, I won't pry into yours. - To be honest, I don't mind a bit of gardening - Loves travelling so there is a possibility of me being away for a short period of time during my uni breaks - I love vacuuming is that weird - Any guests coming to the home will love me - Honest & Brutally up front as I like to discuss about problems as soon as the problem occurs. (but I'm mindful of other's situation as well, repeated as above) Disadvantage: - I'm a smoker. I don't smoke indoors (who does that anyways?) and I don't throw butts on the ground (again, mindfulness) & if you are asthmatic then obviously I will not smoke within your perimeter. - I am incredibly social but when I'm at home I often like being in my own company working on things by myself. Personal space is a big thing for me and I can't help it. - I can't live with kids or babies (personal space, personal property & personally I don't like smoking in front of children) -Prefers the ensuite as I have a lot of cosmetics & girly stuff (it's an addiction, seriously Mecca & Lush should be illegal) I also prefer unfurnished or semi furnished properties as I do have my own furniture & I am a soon to be Interior Designer. (This applies to pals that are interested in looking for a house/apartment together) If you would like any further information or have any queries please do not hesitate to contact me. Regards, Chee.

Just landed myself a job in st kilda and need to move nearby ASAP. I'm a sociable person into music, pretty chilled out but always up for a laugh and I love a night out.
