Hi guys! I am Toby, 25 and from Germany, working in CBD in data analytics. I work 9-5, sometimes longer, and therefore enjoy every moment at the weekend going out, whether beach for swimming or reading a good book in the shadow... I do run a lot, so you might catch me in the early morning for a run before work ;) Your are having a glad of wine or beer once in a while? I'm your person to go :D Cheers Toby
Hey! Im Michael, originally from Perth, I'm 26 a very committed to my work in Film and Television in Sydney, very intense industry, requires a lot of my time during the week and often weekends. I'm very friendly always up for a chat and a glass of wine. I'm quite outgoing and love variety in my life. I'm looking for comfortable homely environment with some great personalities. I have a car also, as long as theres some street parking or something. I'm Clean! Any Questions let me know.
Hi, I am a recent marketing graduate from the University of Liverpool. I am clean and tidy, love sports (football/soccer, tennis), and i'm interested in current events, culture and all that good stuff.
I'm conscious and in feel so I'm easy to get along with. I enjoy deep conversations, laughter, great food and wine. Swinging more towards creativity; an artist, and lover of great music. And trees too. I adore the Trees. I enjoy singing, swimming, Dolphins and Humpback Whales too. For work, I am injecting a pattern of trees into glass; wallpaper and fabrics for interiors. 😉
Hi there, my name's Rob. I'm looking for some kewel people to live with who have a similar take on life to me. Born in the UK but have lived in Australia for 16 years so i'm fully on board with Vegemite and the Aussie version of Weetbix. I'm co-owner of a restaurant, a small bar and a food delivery business, all Sydney based so I'm at work a few nights a week. Before you recoil at the prospect of living with a restaurant owner, here's some info to put your mind at ease - I'm a non-drinker and I'm a pretty quiet, considerate type when at home. I've been living alone for the last 3 years but I'm looking to reduce my outgoings as I'm saving for investment property (I'm a recent convertee to The Barefoot Investor). Things that I think are important for a happy co-habit environment: I'm a big believer in communication between all housemates. I like to be transparent and honest with my housemates and whilst I'm not a neat freak I love to take pride in where I live and I'm compelled to have a spotless kitchen and bathroom. When I'm not working I spend my time at the gym, furniture making classes, live music, theatre and reading at home. I'm an unashamed eastern suburbs leftie so expect me to be watching abc & sbs if the TV's on! Love movie nights, I love to cook (although I'm no Jamie Oliver) and I'm looking for a living environment that full of respect, laughter, shared dinners with fully functioning adults who have their shit together.
Tidy, respectful, good chef that leaves kitchen clean, love a good conversation over a glass of red as well as can appreciate privacy and some quite time.
Hi All!! Originally hailing from Canada, I have been living in Sydney for 7months. I'm on a working holiday visa and work full time in the CBD. I like to spend a lot of time outdoors, walking/hiking, beach days, and playing sports. Having always had a roommate (for the last 10 years) I understand the meaning of personal space, yet a good chat over a glass of wine, and sharing of the household cleaning duties.
Hi, I'm Hannah, I have been in Sydney for nearly a year, currently living in Surry Hills and working in the CBD. I am Marketing and Communications Manager for a global company, work the standard 9 till 5 most days. I love meeting new friends, socialising, hitting the beach but also love chilling out and quiet nights in with cheese, wine and a good film.
I tend to work long hours, relatively easy going; I like mostly ‘me time’ on weeknights when I get home from work. Active on weekends both in fitness and socialising. Looking for a professional who also works FT. Someone who is clean (hugely important), doesn’t go out frequently on weeknights (from time to time is fine). Single is preferable but not a deal breaker.
Hello! I’m a 24 year old professional from Brisbane who has been living in London and have decided to give Sydney a go at becoming my home! *** Looking to move by the first week of May as my short term stay ends then! *** I work in the financial services near Circular quay so I would love to be able to live somewhere central to minimise commute but also be closer to all the action! I am also wanting a room to myself (no roomshares) that can fit at least a double bed. I’m laidback, clean, tidy, like trying new food, a wine or five (is that too much?), into fitness, love the beach, my favourite meal of the day is brunch, love to explore and as I said before, a good wine! :) During the week I’m usually fairly low key but love checking out new restaurants/bars/etc, catching up with my pals or binge watching a good series! As I am a newbie to this town I will probably also be busy exploring, eating and drinking my way through Sydney (with whoever wants to join me on this endeavour!). Other than that I guess I just want to live with like-minded people! I would love it if I could find a furnished room at this stage but can manage if not... I am clean, tidy and acknowledge that my fellow housemates desire their own personal space at times. I would prefer to find a place with longer term possibilities - more than 6 months at least - as I detest the whole packing and moving process. Last but not least....I want to find somewhere that can be a HOME and not just somewhere to stash my things. As I said above, I have a short term stay until early May so would like to move out by then! I look forward to hearing from you! Lemme know if you have any questions for me :) Cheers
My name is Rhiannon I'm 27 yrs old and work full time in the city. Mon-Fri I work varied hours - anywhere between 8am and 7pm, and after work I like to chill out and watch some tv to unwind. On the weekend I enjoy spending time with friends and family, entertaining, cooking, gardening, wine, movies, discovering new places and things to do. I am moving to Sydney from the Central Coast to be closer to work. I don't have parties, but I do enjoy hosting casual BBQ's, dinner parties and the odd girls night. I love a good chat and making new friends - but I also enjoy spending time alone. I am very clean and tidy and I respect others' property and privacy. I'd love a place I can call home with a like-minded housemate (or housemates). Ideally I'd like to live in a house with a backyard so I can garden, but a sunny balcony can work too. If you have a place where bills are included that's even better - I come with a Netflix subscription that I am happy to share if that will sweeten the pot! I look forward to hearing from you 😊
Hi! I'm from London and i work full time in the city as a finance recruiter. I work long hours usually so enjoy cooking a nice meal with a glass of wine in the evenings to relax. Finally ready to take the leap in to the Eastern Suburbs after 4 years in the South.
Hi there! We recently moved to Sydney and have spent a few weeks sight-seeing, we are now looking for an apartment to settle in. We are very clean, respectful and tidy professional couple who have happily lived together for over 2 years - having known each other since high school. I am a kiwi and a qualified accountant, and my partner is a graphic designer from England. We both enjoy exploring the world, snorkelling, cooking, beaches and the odd Netflix-binge! We are also both huge animal lovers! We are out and about most of our free time but are looking for somewhere near the centre of Sydney to base ourselves, having recently moved over from the UK. We are both easy going and enjoy socialising and a bit of banter but also respect other people's space and privacy. Ideally looking for somewhere very clean and tidy (more than happy with a cleaning rota or contributing to a cleaner), with friendly flatmates. Please message us with any questions! :)
Hey! I'm Hilary, I have been living in Sydney for just over 2 years, after 12 years in London. I currently live and work in Surry Hills. Reason for moving is, the place I currently live in at the moment is not ideal, not safe, and doesn't have a kitchen (which I hate), was a last minute move but I have been looking forward to my contract ending since the day I moved in (6 long months). I am very respectful, clean individual. I have been living in share houses since 2004 and never had any issues. I'm looking for a bit more than just a room, I'd like to (finally) find a place that feels like home. I've done the partying so looking for a quiet(er) share house, of course I'm always up for a glass of wine and a chat, and even cooking dinner together (I love cooking). I am open to any location as far as it's no more than 30 minutes to Central. Can move in between 19th and 22nd of May, can consider something a little earlier for the right place, but no later than 22nd.
32 yo from a busy and big city looking forward to find a home in Australia. I`m easy going , fair and comprehensive person, like to keep life simple and light. I spend a lot of time working and studying but also would love to have a glass of wine while interesting conversations with friends that I could call family. I love beach and cats. I like cooking and keep my routine tidy. I don`t like complications and respect is very important to me .
Tidy, clean, I like to cook and play guitar. Looking for a place to chill when I need to rest but at the same time where I can share a beer or three with someone else. I'd love to find an international house where I can speak English.
Hi I'm Jenya, I'm currently studying Interior Design and work part time at Mecca. I love to make sculptures, travel, ride my bike around town and cook in my spare time. I would be your perfect housemate because I am super chilled, bubbly, easy to hang with, love to have a giggle and have a drink with you, share stories from abroad, respect your personal space and be considerate to your needs, have been living out of home for 4 years, not a huge party animal but am very social, can pay my bills on time.
Hi! I am a 32 year French girl and I am working full time as a Project Manager in HR (sponsor visa). I am looking for a room in a shared house close to the Harbour (From Potts Point to Rose Bay, potentially Vaucluse and Watson’s Bay). The best of the best would be to have a view on the Harbour. I am looking for friendly house mates who want to share a beer or a glass of wine after work and watch some series on Netflix! It would be great for me to find people with who I can discuss with at dinner time and be part of a "foreign family" ;-) I love traveling (US, Asia, Europe...). I am easy-going and respectful. I am used to live in shared houses so no problem of cleaning behind me and share house keeping tasks. I am a beginner in photography, I love to discover new places around Sydney on the week end and have brunch on Sunday morning. I speak French and English. Thanks ! Marie
Gainfully employed in the Sydney CBD, outgoing and friendly guy looking for a new place to call home. Non-smoker, reliable and enjoys the company of good roommates.
I am a creative, loving, social being, & work in the hospitality industry as a Restaurant Manager. I split my down time either letting my hair down with my friends (dinner/lunch/beach/drinks and so forth), or in my own company working on some side project/reading/cooking/gardening..... I am not OCD, but I would definitely say I function a whole lot better when my surrounding environment is clean & organised. Totally happy to do my own thing at home, but do also enjoy (& believe it is important) some time is spent hanging out with my roomie :-)
