Hi I'm Nick! I'm looking for a flexible/ short term place to stay at the end of June/ early July. I'll be finishing my masters in renewable energy engineering and want to get a feel for different suburbs before I decide on a long term lease! *I'm also interested in Boat sitting if you know of anyone wanting a former Naval Propulsion Engineer looking after their vessel.* I work in Solar Energy and will be starting a little Gracie Jiu- Jitsu coaching in July too. I am environmentally and energy conscious, love the outdoors and a quiet place away from traffic noise. light sleeper, healthy lifestyle, decent cook, open minded. *A non smoking house is a must.* I don't have a car, but I have a bike that I use everyday. I clean when things are dirty, and have been trained to leave the seat down if needed :-) I'm an open book so shoot me a message! I may not respond immediately because I'm hammering assignments right now.
Private room or a room of 2 people MAXIMUM ONLY. I am looking for a convenient place in the city or in the surrounding suburbs, no more than 15 mins bus/train ride away. I'm working full time in sales/customer service with stable income. I enjoy quiet night ins with a six pack of beer and TV shows, and cooking. Wouldnt mind sharing meals and having deep, substantial convos about life. Paddington, Newtown, Surry Hills, Ultimo would be a good fit to what I'm looking for but anywhere in Townhall would be perfect. Furnished, no dodgy terms and hidden bills please. Message me the room condition and price, and i'll get back to you ASAP. Thank you!
Hi Guys, Just putting feelers out for a possible room to rent in mid July. Will need to be close to public transport as I work in Circular Quay as a Wedding and Events Coordinator. I am quiet and extremely tidy! I don't smoke or party but enjoy a wine and dinner when I'm home.. Usually go at gym after work. I prefer a furnished room with a queen bed, not wanting to live with any pets or a smoker unless the door is alway closed. I do own a car so will need on or off street parking!
We are a young married couple moving to Australia in September on a years Working holiday visa. Married in September 2016 in Mexico and we went traveling for 3 months for our honeymoon. We are a relaxed couple and very easy to get along with. We both enjoy a drink and to go out at the weekend however in the weekend like to go work, gym and chill in the evening. We both enjoy our fitness and running. I am an Accountant and my partner is a Bricklayer therefore once we secure jobs will be out the house during working hours.
I work full-time as a nurse so I do a lot of shift work and will hardly be at the house. I currently live in Perth but recently visited Sydney and enjoyed myself so much that I've decided to move there. It would be nice to live with someone close to my age and doesnt mind showing me around Sydney. I respect personal space but always up for some banter if needed. I keep things clean and like to cook so you can enjoy a few nights off in the week. I'm usually at the gym before or after work or catching up with friends. I'm easy to live with and have been renting for 5 years with other tenants. I know it can be difficult sharing so I like to keep things straight up. If I do something that bothers you then approach me all feedback is good.
I'm a 26 year old full-time professional about to start a new role in the public sector. I'm looking for a place relatively close to work in the city with handy public transport! I am from Newcastle originally so I'm pretty familiar with Sydney, but am moving here for the first time. I keep things pretty low key during the week but like to be out and about on the weekend. I appreciate a clean and tidy place, while still having a relaxed and comfortable feel. Ideally I'd love to live somewhere that feels like a home, with housemates who like to hang with each other but also value alone time. I love a good Netflix sesh and the occasional night out (or in) preferably with wine and/or cheese involved :) I have a car so would be looking for somewhere with off-street (ideally) or on-street parking!
Hi, potential future roomies! Allow me to introduce myself - I'm Mark, I'm 31 years old, I'm a doctor by trade, and I'm looking for a couple of sound professional types who have their own sh*t together, but who are open to creating a happy home environment. Thinking one girl, one guy might be a good mix. Due to the nature of the job, my hours are probably a little more erratic than most, and I've got some things I need to finance later this year, as well as a professional exam I need to sit at the end of the year, so there may be good chunks of the week when I'm busy, but still, when I'm around, I'm tidy, easy going, and generally good value. I'm entirely happy doing my own thing if people have got their own stuff to do, but at the same time, I'd like to live in a place where we do more than just give polite hellos to each other every day. I'm not really up for all-night raves at the flat, but I'm sure we can fit in the occasional late night chat over a bottle of something. What else to tell you? I tend to read a lot, I can cook pretty well, I play the piano (don't worry I've got headphones for the keys I have), I'm sociable but don't really have the time or stamina to party like when I was young, I don't smoke, very much a dog man, and I've started running quite a lot recently as well. If you want to know anything more, just ask.
Hygienic and respects personal space. In terms of employment, I am a full-time software developer working regular hours. My primary hobbies include music, gaming and cooking. I highly value personal space but do not mind regular social interactions; with one of my favorite pastimes being a chat over good coffee.
I'm pretty chill and pretty considerate towards others. I do eat a lot, so I'll probably be cooking a lot. I make music, so let me know if I need to use the earphones. FYI I do have a lot of books, a lot of books, like no joke. Think of a library.
Seeking a room for a couple between $250-400 AUD. Twin shared or private couple room either is fine. New zealander and Japanese couple moving to Sydney. I have been offered a job in IT/japanese speaking role in the CBD and my girlfriend is lined up to finish a hospitality diploma while working part time. I don't know sydney that well and at this stage I'm open to any location that would allow a 30 minute (from door to door) commute to Kent street (my office is near the sydney wildlife Zoo end). Personality wise, we are both mature, sociable and enjoy having a healthy balanced lifestyle. Our hobbies include: cooking, exercise and spending time in nature (sun/parks/beaches ) , gardening and the occasional dvd. I have a job offer to work in Sydney but the 1st 2 weeks are in San Francisco at the headquarters of the company. After the 2 weeks I fly straight to Sydney and start working around July 17. Because I have to start working immediately I would prefer to have accommodations sorted before going. If accommodation fits my requirements and I can exchange some messages with the owner I would be open to paying $50 or so per week from now until I arrive in order to make a hold on the room. We are not party people and definitely want to live with other people who don't play loud music etc. Other notes: Bonus points for a location that has a fish shop nearby. Do not intend on buying a car. I have written "1 year" but we would definitely consider a location that was 5 months or longer especially if it was furnished. No drugs/smoking. Would like a location that has some form of outdoor area that gets sunlight. (balcony, courtyard, garden etc.) Would like a location that has an oven and a gas stove top. (Don't like using an electric one). Both perfectly fine with pets. especially cats. I am happy to give out information such as facebook profile or LinkenIn Profile via message so you can find out more about me or Mikiko.
24 yo full-time student at Sydney University and working part-time near Martin Place. I'm extremely easy going and likes to keep things clean and tidy. I love share glass of wine and have a nice chat after work/weekends :) Cheers Silvia
I am a 27 year old who moved to Sydney from Adelaide 18 months ago. I work in North Sydney in a full time professional role for a Telco and travel once or twice a month for work. I am really easy to get along with, have no issues with sharing or cleaning and am looking for housemates I can get a long well with. I have friends in Sydney already. I love pets, but unfortunately can't bring mine, and have the added bonus of netflix and plenty of movies I'm looking for friendly people who are easy to get along with and lots of fun to be around. I am a really easy going guy who loves to socialise, but respects other peoples privacy at the same time.
I'm Italian, 38 years old, I work mon to Friday as chef in an Australia cafe in the Cbd, close to Martin palace. I'm also a published author, so I spend my free time mostly writing and design cover for an Australian publisher, Sydney base. I try to be fit, join gym 3/4 times a week, love walk, read and meditation, hope to start yoga one of these days... I'm a social person who likes to enjoy a glass of wine or a dinner with flatemates. I like live in a Share house because I like sharing, but I also respect other people privacy and space.
Moving to Sydney end of this month and would love to have a place sorted before I arrive. Lived in Europe and in the U.S but am looking to settle down in Australia due to visa validity reasons (NZ Citizen.) I'm super chill and mind my own business, enjoy being sociable but also value alone time. Have a few interviews lined up for jobs in Marketing so fingers crossed I'll be employed by the time I arrive on your doorstep.
Hello! I'm Alexandra, I'm 27 and from Lima-Peru. I'm an artist-photographer and currently working part time as a bartender and I'm planning to stay in Sydney for around a year. I like to share conversations and getting to know each other with wine or some beers, water also works, but I also value personal space so I'm good with that too. I'm also clean, respectful and I appreciate communication when sharing households. I like to experiment cooking as well, so maybe you'll get to try some peruvian dishes:) I'm looking for a private room, any other questions please don't hesitate to ask!
I'm brazilian student. I like the clean and tidy apartment. I'm friendly, clean and quiet. I would prefer female housemates. Please contact me if you think I'd be a good fit!
Lifestyle I've lived in shared apartments/houses for the past 5 years without any issues so I understand how to be respectful housemate. I prefer a night home or the pub with friends than one at a club. I’m not religious and have no issues with varying sexualities. I’m open minded towards drugs/alcohol (but not big on either) however i am looking to live in a non-smoking household. As I’ve had my time in party households, I’m probably looking for something a bit more chilled out and long term. I love cooking (for myself and others) so the kitchen would get a good work out and regularly cleaning. I also have a car so a garage spot is ideal. Work I’ve worked in a media agency for the past three years but recently joined Network 7 as a Strategist. I work 8:30-5:30 M-F in Pyrmont and try to stick to my hours. Interests I love outdoor adventures (hiking/camping/touring) and play football (the round ball variety) for UNSW in the amateur league. I’m also into cycling, drawing, video games and music. Sadly my childhood dream of becoming the world’s greatest magician was never realised. Recent life achievements • Riding a pushy from Sydney to Adelaide • Somehow ending up on Netflix
