I am a Londoner who has just arrived in Sydney from San Francisco. I work for a tech company and have moved here to open our first APAC office. I can't wait to explore everything Australia has to offer. I am a clean, respectful roommate who is looking for a great place and group of people to kick off this new adventure in the best way possible.
I am a girl from Denmark, I am looking for a place to stay until January! I am single and a bartender and I'm currently looking for a job! I am very social and happy and I'm always ready to party but I'm just as ready to chill out at home and talk and watch tv. I would consider myself as a clean person and I'm not afraid to clean around the house either!
Hey! I'm Sam, and I'm a 24 year old male. I'm a business analyst, working typical full time business hours. I consider myself relaxed, open-minded and easy to get along with. As a house mate, I'm clean and tidy, respectful, and considerate. I enjoy watching sport, going to the beach, and having a good chat. Always up for a beer and a BBQ. My time at home is usually spent working/studying, or watching TV.
Hi there! My name is Sam and I am a chill and clean guy working in theatre, who is looking for a cosy place to call home in Sydney. Love good food, good clothes and some witty banter. Need a good TV recommendation or an excellent trivia partner? I’m your guy!!
Hi, I'm Reimar! I'm a 3rd year student at the University of Melbourne and am gonna be doing an internship in Sydney over Summer. I grew up in Germany, but my background is German-Singaporean and I decided to study in Australia because of the outdoor life and the international culture - it's awesome here! In my spare time I love playing sports - futsal, surfing, rockclimbing, snowboarding, yoga. During the week I will be pretty busy with the internship but I'm definitely keen to explore Sydney on the weekends while I'm up there. Ideally, I'd like to live with people not too wild but still social. Let me know if you'd like to have a chat over skype or something so you can get to know me a little better!
im a quiet, tidy housemate with a magnetic personality and generally keeps to myself (unless we become great friends!). I am a drag queen by trade so i am out of the house on most days. i keep little to no friends so i dont bring friends over often. Also a chef so more than happy to cook meals for whole house every now and then
My friends tell me I'm a social, fun person. I am originally from the Netherlands but am living now in Australia. I am working 4 days a week for a travel agency. I like to go for dinner with friends but have left the big party nights behind me. I am now looking for a nice private room close to my work so I can have that perfect balance between work and private life.
Hello everyone. I'm from the UK originally and have been loving the Eastern Suburbs since 2005, should have bought a place way back. Oh well. Very easy going straight guy who gets along with everyone from all walks of life. Whilst i enjoy company I’m also very respectful of privacy, other people’s property, and food! Clean and tidy, no Gordon Ramsey but happy to cook for my house friends in the kitchen via the bbq - summer’s coming.... I work full time it IT sales for a global technology company called NEC. Work hours are flexible and I often entertain clients in the afternoon / evenings. If you're looking for someone who doesn't hide in their room, is warm and friendly, likes a beer but never brings the party home, is reliable with rent / bills and is taking a year out of the dating scene then look no further, let's chat. Thanks for taking the time to read the above and best of luck if I'm not the right fit for your house. All the best, Steve.
Hullo. I'm an experienced roommate having lived in flatshares in Sydney, London and Montreal. I'm a non-smoker, professional female; work full-time and usually longs hours so very low-key after work - usually come home, eat, shower, study and go to bed! On the weekends I'm usually out or studying. Love trying new restaurants, cultural events etc. I'm looking to a similar arrangement I've had in the past: non-smoker; someone who is clean in the kitchen, respectful, preferably professional male or female in their 30s. I'm more of a bar/wine-after-work than party type :) I ended up becoming friends with the women I've lived with in the past, so happy to provide references :)
Hi, I'm Kelly and I recently moved to Sydney from the UK. I'm on a working holiday visa and I have a Monday-Friday office job. I'll be in Sydney till the end of January and I'm looking for somewhere to live with laid-back, sociable flatmates. I'm not a party person but I like having a glass of wine and a chat after work. In my spare time I like running, swimming and exploring Sydney :)
I'm getting to know this new city after arriving from London. I'm always up for going out whether it's drinking or doing something active or staying in and watching movies! Can definitely keep myself to myself or I can be super social - whichever you would prefer! Im a short term flattie as I'm looking for somewhere for 5 weeks before I head off to Cairns to go down the east coast!
Hey! Working part time for my Faculty's Marketing Department and studying Landscape Architecture at UNSW. Although I'm from Tanzania (East Africa) and of Indian descent, culturally I'm a bit of a fruit salad. I went to school in England and then Queensland (here in Australia). After which, I lived in Toronto then later moved to Sydney, and have been here for the last four years. I am actively at Uni, pretty social and would be happy to hang and have a drink. But, I do enjoy my downtime and relaxing. I am a clean and tidy person but also respectful to others and their privacy. I will be moving out of my current place as the lease is ending and looking for a place to stay for the next 3 to 6 months. Looking forward to getting in contact!
I am a Swedish female looking for a new home! I love a good laugh and meeting new friends. I cook - I wash up. I make a mess - I tidy up. I have been living in Sydney since march but as our current lease is up I am now looking for a new flat share! I am working full time in hospitality in CBD so would preferably live close by but not a must.
Hey, I'm Adam. What an arduous (check the vocab) process finding your new home and "to-be" flatmates is. So many variables to consider... location, price, compatibility, social influence. I guess that's not that many, really, but you know, you wanna get it right. I currently work as a 4th Year Electrical Apprentice. I become qualified this October and plan to move close to the city. I'm contemplating learning sales before I jump back into the electrical industry, if it all. Apprenticeships can be painful. I have a few months annual leave saved up giving me some time to check out the options once I've move in. Anyways. I despise the whole notion of job-as-identity. Let's get to the good stuff. I'm all about adventure. Some of my outdoor hobbies of have been surfing, skating, hiking and salsa. This year I want to start parkour, yes par-kour! I also love music and a good party. For me, partying should only be occasional. One of my biggest red flags for housemates is getting sucked into a wormhole of mindless weekly binge drinking. Don't get me wrong I'm down for a casual beer but I'm happy and prefer to go to gigs sober. On the flip side of all this I enjoy taking time out to focus, read, plan and ponder. I'm a big fan of health, fitness and self-development. My preference for housemates would be people who think the same about such things. I'm pretty easy going so it's not essential. Get in touch -Adam TLDR; I'm adventurous and introverted. I want to learn sales.
