Aussie girl, 33yrs. I've relocated from Singapore home to Oz six months ago. I have a design education and textiles background. I love cycling, yoga, weekends with friends, gym, red wine, avocados and a good sense of humour. :) Having shared places for many years, I'm very respectful, clean, while still easy-going and friendly. I'm looking for a 'home' to share with authentic people who care about a healthy work life balance.
Hi, I'm Josh, an outgoing gay guy from the UK moving to Sydney in Nov 2018! I would like to find a social house, sharing with either 1 or 2 people, in a fun and friendly atmosphere! I'll be in full time work once I arrive in marketing, so will be busy during the weeks. Room requirements are minimal, just friendly people to live with, laid back and social. I would want to feel comfortable inviting my own friends round (when I finally meet the locals) and having a laugh, either keeping ourselves to ourselves or getting the rest of the house involved. Good food, good drink and good company are always welcome. I love my music and movies and like to keep myself busy, I want to make the most of my time in Aus as who knows how long I'll be there. Looking to get the most of that beautiful sunshine, head to the beach (though may need some help getting Aussie beach body ready!) Just like any Londoner I do love to go out too, though in my 30s hoping to keep this to the weekends. I'll need some help in working out these lockout laws. I like to be social so always looking to cook and share my resources with flatmates. I've previously lived with people where we cook together, so a similar environment would be ideal! Yet I understand people do want to keep to themselves. I'm easy either way! Ultimately I want to be friends with the people I live with - I'm still best friends with my old housemate who we met as strangers when we first moved in.
Starting a new job and looking for a place to move into nearby. I have been described as tidy around the house, respectful and mildly humorous. I enjoy the occasional neighborhood walk, movie night in and exploring the city on weekends.
25 year old kiwi, working full time in sales. I love my job, but when I’m out of the office I spend a lot of my spare time either learning new sports, trying new restaurants or going to the beach. I’m looking for like minded flat mates in a similar age range who are easy going, tidy and keen to go out and have a glass of wine every once in a while.
Hello! I am Eleanor. I will shortly be moving back to Australia after a few years overseas and am looking for a new place to call home. I am a professional and work Monday - Friday, clean up after myself and will always buy more toilet roll! Not interested in shared rooms thank you – I think I sometimes mutter in my sleep and don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable.
I have 5 years of hostel experience in my school life back in India. I have played division cricket and am one who is heavily into other sports as well (football, hockey and swimming namely). I am a huge foodie. I am hassle-free and friendly. I maintain cleanliness. I love music of all kinds. I love outdoor activities. I am a team player.
Luke and I are neuroscientists looking to move to Sydney from Brisbane. Luke will be studying medicine next year and I will be working full-time. We are both super passionate about what we do. We are very tidy and like things to be kept clean. Socializing and having fun is a must but we also like our space as we will be very busy studying most of the time. I am a very good cook and can fix just about anything.
Transferring to Sydney early in January for work and I am looking for a furnished studio apartment or similar that is close to the CBD or close to public transport. I am a 25-year-old female and my interests are fitness/ health and relaxing with friends. Not a party person so your property would be safe with me. :)
We are a friendly, tidy and reliable Polish couple looking for accommodation in Sydney for the next 16 months - we've just come back to Sydney from NT, where we finished the regional work required for 2nd year WHV. We are both sociable and outgoing people, who enjoy spending time outside.
Hello! I'm an American (moving from SF by way of Atlanta, GA) coming to Sydney in October for work. I work as a consultant in tech and travel a good amount, so I will be out of your way a lot of the time! I like to play basketball, and also like to pretend that I go to the gym regularly. I'm looking forward to exploring the city and finding the best restaurants, bars, and music venues Sydney has to offer. I'm an easy-going and friendly person (for an American at least) and enjoy a relaxed night in as much as I like going out on the town. I hear Australians like country music too...? And pardon the cliche, but I plan to learn how to surf as well
Hey there! I’m moving to Sydney from Adelaide around mid January 2019. I’m flexible with move in dates but I would ideally move in by 27 January at the latest. I'd like to live in a non-smoking, social house/flat where we can host dinner parties and BBQs here and there, but I also value quiet nights. Seeing as I'll be new to town, flatmates who are up for the occasional outing or hanging out is a plus, but not a must. I’m 23 and work full-time in the finance industry. When I’m not working, I like going to dance classes, going to the gym or just taking it easy at home. On weekends, I like discovering new places, going out with friends or going to beaches or parks. I also love travelling, wine, gin, trying new healthy recipes and art! Being bubbly and easy-going, I enjoy spending time with my flatmates but also respect the need to have alone time. I’m tidy, clean and reliable when it comes to chores and bills. I'm looking for like minded people who are tidy, respectful and fun to be around! P.S. I'm allergic to cats :(
Hi, I'm Nick, 25-year-old Interior Designer. Working full-time, Mon-Fri, 9-5. Lover of anything and everything creative especially food, fashion, music, architecture/design... etc. Don't take life too seriously, but like to keep my home clean, tidy and beautiful. I like to have the occasionally shared meal and wine with flatmates, but also like to do my own thing in equal measure. Look forward to meeting!
I'm a 24 year old girl from Sweden, I work full time in the CBD in sales and marketing. On my free time I like going to the gym and hang out with friends. I'm easy going and tidy, looking for a quiet place to call home!
I am Léa, I am 22 years old and I am French. I will live in Sydney from early October 2018 to the end of March 2019 for a 6 month-internship in a Fintech start up. I am looking for one or two flatmate(s) to share my experience in Sydney ! I have two hobbies in my life : the sport and the music. Since I am 6 years old, I have played Violon (but I won't be able to bring it to Sydney unfortunately :( ) and for 4 years I have danced latino dances like Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba ! So if you want, we could go out to dance together to some latino places in Sydney ! Or I can teach you these dances ! I love also going to the fitness center regularly. We will be able to go together if you want ! I am an easy-going person ! I am calm but I like going out and doing parties too. I like living in a clean appartment, that's why my current appartment is always clean. I need to live with people for whom cleanliness is important in the daily life. I am an open-minded and funny person, who enjoys life ! So if you like the same things in the life, we are made to be flatmates !
A little about me... I’m finance professional with a passion for travel, adventure and all things relating to food and wine. When I’m not working crazy hours I’m training for triathlons and throwing myself of some adrenaline junkie cliffface. On the more rare occasions I have some off time i’m happy to sit back with a glass of wine and a book or a social chat about the meaning of life (or some first world problem like lack of cheese) On the weekends I love to unwind a little and sometimes do normal things like a dinners, shows, food markets, shamelessly sun worship by the 🌊 , devour books, write and enjoy the simple pleasures of life like the paper and a life altering cup of coffee. What you can expect from me in your space - super clean, tidy and respectful of others. I’d like to think i’m warm, open-minded and connect on some level with anyone. If you think you’d enjoy living with me, get in touch! Cheers Emely
I’m pretty easy going, friendly, fun and clean, hoping to find likeminded flatmates that I can also be friends with. I work in Human Resources in the financial services industry, currently living in the shire and looking to move closer to work to save commuting time. I’m career focused and so during the week I keep it pretty chill and you can usually find me at an F45 class or maybe a quiet dinner with friends. On the weekends I love being social with brunch’s, coffees and drinks with friends and usually throw in some sort of activity or workout to cancel all the wine!
Hi everyone, I'm looking to team up with a like minded individual (male or female, not fussed) in ideally Double Bay or Darling Point but happy for somewhere else in the Eastern suburbs if the place was right!! I have a cat who will be living with me although he is the most chilled, friendly & social wee man you'll ever meet. Previous flatties have wanted to steal him for their own, no doubt you'll fall in love with him too ;) I like to keep fit & active (morning runs + F45), go out with friends for dinners & drinks or a few glasses of wine at home relaxing, road trips / exploring new places (only moved to the country 5 weeks ago), all the usual stuff really. I like my own space and will respect yours too. I'm clean and tidy and just expect everyone to do their bit to ensure the place stays that way :-) I work full time and am looking to stay somewhere ideally long term (6 to 12+ months all going well!) and my budget is max $400 for rent (excl. expenses which would be separate obviously). Get in contact if you're after something similar :-) :-) Cheers!
Zah and Greg here ! We're a Singaporean -French couple moving to Sydney! Greg is self employed and I am working as a nurse (previously in Melbourne). We are a very discreet, no-fuss couple that respect everyone's privacy but enjoy chatting up from time to time ! Hit us up for more info !
Funny, adventurous and love to travel. I love meeting new people and having a weekend drink, but am also extremely independent - sometimes I have to work big hours during the week and am quiet and respectful to housemates who have the same schedule. Extremely tidy in communal areas - I guarantee I won't leave mess in the kitchen ever. :)
